The little saiyan had clashed against his foot, yet the struggle of it was indeed noticeable as Thaw being able to apply more pressure to that kick and toss the saiyan boy to the ground instead of the building. He landed straight in front of the saiyan with his arms folded across his chest. Before he could speak, the arcosian he had met started to speak to him. He let out a sly smirk to Frozone while shifting his eyes to him.
"The same species we are, but you are the black sheep among us. You may have left the WTF at your own accord whether it was one reason or another. Yes I call you my brother, but look at what side you stand on and look at mine. I devoted nine years of my life destroying the WTF bases among other planets, saving locals and others from their destructive life style. You on the other hand-"
He looked towards Neo briefly and back at Frozone.
"Protecting a child... When you could really be doing some good and join our side and protect nations and planets from the WTF. Just look at what they did to this city! Their leader Boreal is vastly stronger than myself and the leader, now let that sink into your mind! All we want to see if you lot can defend yourselves against that kind of threat! We aren't the enemies here. We know what the WTF are capable of first hand! But I shouldn't even say that, you were once a member of their organization. Now if you really want to call me brother! Join us and our cause to getting rid of the WTF and overthrowing them! Bringing peace to not only this planet but the whole world!"
He looked to Carro and then his boss had spoken up about him aiding him in his battle with the cyborg.
"If I were you kid, I wouldn't mess with those trying to save the world, you'd only get in the way of that."
Vanishing from his position and appearing right behind Saizomaru, he formed in both his hands his famous orange ki blades and with a grin he looked at the back of his head with bloodshot eyes.
"It's rather interesting! I can't at all detect your ki at all or presence for that matter! You must be one of those androids!"
While he stated this, he attempted to perform a furry of stabs against Saizo in a rapid motion, trying to puncture his armor up.

CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 160,000 (x4P)
Reeling back from Thaw's counter, Carro managed to regain his footing in the air as LEO's jets stopped him from flying into the earth below. By the time he shook off the brief daze, though, everything had went to hell. Ledinjin was persisting on his little test, and everyone else was none the wiser to fight back in very rightfully felt anger. A part of the CEO wanted to join in beating down the Arcosians, but... He sighed, wiping his eyes. This was the same way Garon died and Amber turned, wasn't it? Their side couldn't work together while the so-called "villains" were coordinated. They fought their own, they turned, and that resulted in their death. Carro found himself understanding Ledinjin's concern. What would they do if history repeated itself?
The answer was obvious. "STOP!"
The saiyan lurched forwards, shoving himself between Ledinjin and Saizomaru before the backlash of their attacks could hit the android. Ledinjin's tail smacked Carro square across the face, sending half of his already cracked metallic helmet flying to the floor. The scouter he wore flickered on and off, and blood drizzled down the exposed part of his face. One of his eyes was shut, a cut near his brow sending more red down his forehead.
A hand extended forwards towards Banshee's oncoming attack, ki coating Carro's armored palm as the metal strengthened. The Nightmare Scythe dissipated completely, but a few scratches were visible on his armor. throwing himself in the way between Thaw and Saizomaru once more, the saiyan would grit his teeth and stagger back as the barrage of sharp ki sliced at his body, leaving gashes of blood on his form. But he couldn't fall- not yet. With one last shout, the saiyan unleashed a sharp kiai- a gust of wind would push at everyone around, likely sending them staggering a few feet backwards. Still, no harm was intended, and the area around them remained undamaged.
Carro panted, glancing around. Hopefully he had everyone's attention. He didn't care what Thaw thought, he was getting in the way and stopping this mess before someone got hurt. "...Okay." He took a slow breath in. "...I understand we're all pretty heated right now, b-but I just want a moment for you all to hear me out. Is it okay if we chill for just one quick minute?" He forced a meek, pained smile, blood still tricking down his lips.
"N-now, we're tryna just fix up this poor city. I assume Ledinjin wants to test us to make sure we can protect the planet from future threats in a circumstance like this w-when someone less, uh, merciful comes." He tried to explain both standpoints. "And, understandably, some of us, uh, aren't very happy with the timeliness and perception of it. Trust me, I am too!" He raised his scratched, armored hand to gesture to himself.
"When I feel like we're being attacked and "tested" with no rhyme or reason, I feel angry and confused. I think to myself, "Why is it suddenly required we do this?" and "Why do these people think they're the final say?"" He forced another meek grin, hoping to earn some nods from the crowd around him, or maybe a few calmer glances than the hatred-filled eyes that were around him moments before. "And I'm sure other people are thinking the same thing. And t-that's okay to think! It's justified and understandable!" He specifically glanced to the ghost and the green haired bio-android, sending them a nervous grin and wave.
"But on the other end..." He turned to Ledinjin. "Ledinjin has seen the World Trade Fleet at it's worst, if I recall, I think. Maybe. Uh... I don't know the details still, so I, uh, won't speak too much for you and stuff words down your mouth." Already, the saiyan was starting to sweat a little too much. All eyes were likely on him. One wrong word and someone could snap, one wrong word and things could get even worse. First he had to try and at least validate everyone, though. "But I know you don't wanna see more planets and more people suffer that same fate! You wanna make sure we can handle ourselves, right? Y-y-you care! So that's why you wanna do this, right?"
"I'll get to the point now." Carro inhaled, hoping to have calmed down most people by now. "I... lost some dear friends during the corruption of this city. I saw some of you loose someone too when..." He sighed, his gaze having instinctively drifted to the Pride Troopers behind him. There was no need to rub salt in that wound. "...But those that fought in this city didn't die because they weren't strong. I know they were plenty powerful."
"They didn't understand each other. They couldn't work together. They snapped, they turned, they killed one another. The "villains" barely had to raise a finger." His gaze sunk. "Because they did their work for them." So was the effect of the corruption. Carro could feel it still tugging at his very soul, but the determined pounding of his heart continued to dispel it. "...And I feel like we're close to making that same deathly mistake here. That's why I felt so angry and lost before, at least."
"And-- not to call anyone out or anything-- b-but that's why we need to stop pointing fingers, lashing out, making assumptions, and holding our own allies at gunpoint. Even if the other side might not seem the friendliest, we all don't want to kill or get anyone hurt, right?"
Carro's grin grew, genuine despite the pain behind it. "We can work together to help the world- we don't need to fight to prove anything!" He held his arms out to the sides. "If we really need to prove the Earth is in the right hands, then we can show we can work together. We don't need to agree, we don't need to be the best of friends. But we can understand each other." Carro slowly exhaled. He had been going on for far more than a minute now, hadn't he? "That's our greatest strength as the defenders of our home. True strength isn't about how hard you can punch, after all- right?"
Carro winced, his smile fading. He rubbed his head, wiping away the growing waterfall of blood on his face. "...Sorry. I went on for too long. That was... really cheesy. S-sorry...." Carro apologized with a bow of his head, his chest shaking somewhat now that his little speech had ended. "B-but, uh...! What do you guys say? Let's stop hitting each other, fix up this city, and go get some pizza and play some Serpent Master instead after all is said and done. O-on me?" He shrugged, shaking still and internally screaming. Surely, things couldn't get any worse... Right?
LEO uses [SU1] Sparkler to intercept Ledinjin's [N1] Eps Purah Kahnsh! 14% damage taken. LEO uses [N1] Lancework for 52,800 PL to intercept and fully tank Banshee's Nightmare Scythe! LEO and Carro take Thaw's non-KP damage as well. Ouch. They unleash a kiai and intervene to try and stop the fighting!
KP is now 5/7.

Saizomaru PL: 225,000 (Overdrive Active)
It was almost inconceivable for Saizomaru to watch with his own eyes as his attack was repelled simply by the arcosian's tail alone. Whatever strength Ledinjin possessed, the android only became more and more concerned. If all arcosians were as powerful as the foe before him, he could only begin to imagine what sort of destruction they could wrought. He wondered what would happen should they face any of evil alignment.
He began to understand why Terryn hated them.
But before the trading of blows could reach its conclusion, there leapt the small form of the CEO of Crop Co., galvanized in the metal armor that was LEO, blocking and stopping any and all attack that was thrown from friend or foe alike. The whole ordeal bewildered Saizomaru—a young kid throwing himself in the way of those stronger than himself.
The reports were right. He must have been there at Central City. There was no further doubt.
Yet despite everything that had happened to him, he was still trying to maintain the peace. Not through fists, but through words, would he hope to achieve it. And yet, once again, Saizomaru was left with no way to argue with the kid. Carro was right. Banshee was right. He himself was right. This was all pointless, but he let his anger cloud his judgment.
Blue eyes looked down at the boy in front of him. He saw those cuts, those gashes, those trickles of blood run down his face. Yet he stood strong.
Saizomaru had to admit it to himself. He was wrong about Carro. Too wrong.
The android kneeled down beside the child. He took that armoured arm of his and flung it over his own shoulders to help keep Carro supported. As much as the kid was strong, he was still a kid. He doubted that his body was strengthened for battle, for war.
The android looked down. In front of him on the ground was a chunk of brickwork from the nearby building that the captain was thrown through. He reached out with his free hand and grasped it, lifting it up to his face. Then, he stood up, hoisting up Carro with him as though he was carrying his own child.
"Fine."
He turned to face Ledinjin, completely ignoring the blue and black arcosian that was a mere inches from him. He was calmer now. Anger now didn't cloud his thoughts, his actions, as amateurish as it was. There was even more important things to worry about here. He couldn't let his pride get in the way of the better good.
"I don't care about your little trial, your little game," he admitted as he called out to the leader of the FPR. "I never did. Yet I let my own hubris get in the way of what was truly important."
He looked down at the small chunk of brick that he held in his hand. Then, back to these 'challengers'. "You want this city? Fine." He tossed the rock towards Ledinjin, bouncing and scraping with thuds and scratches against the concrete floor before it came to a sliding stop in front of the arcosian's feet. "You can have it."
The android looked out towards the city once more. The roads and streets were torn up. Buildings both dilapidated and destroyed were in pure sight for anyone who had the eyes to see. Lamp posts and traffic lights were bent or broken or ripped from the ground.
How much more destruction does there need to be before the people of this city will find peace once more?
"I won't fight you. Nor will I fight your little underlings here. I refuse," he bit at Ledinjin, and his allies even more. "I won't continue to fight and rain more destruction upon this land just because you think this whole test is a fun kick for you.
"So what will you do, Ledinjin? Will you continue to fight me? Will you destroy more of this city in this little test of yours in a demonstration of hypocrisy and redundancy? Or will you finally give up on this charade?"
It was this last question that was laced in venom the most. He didn't believe the FPR wanted this city in the slightest. He was calling the arcosian's bluff.
But if he did—
"And if you do want this city? You can have it when we're done here."
He began to walk away, carrying Carro in his arms. The kid had done enough. He didn't need to do any more. Not for something as petty and ridiculous as this. The android walked past Thaw, completely ignoring him as though he wasn't even there. Instead he made his way to Neo and Frozone and Synthesia, also where the other remaining arcosian of Ledinjin's group was.
Saizomaru shot Gelu a cold stare for a second. Then another. Then another. It felt like a lifetime before the android shifted his gaze from him, instead setting Carro down on the ground where the other members of the group were, inside of the ritual circle.
"Though know this—" he rose back to his feet. His eyes gazed from Gelu, to Thaw, then to Ledinjin "—if you fail to uphold goodness and decency in this city just as the WTF did… Then I will end you."

Everything that could be wrong, was going wrong. Synthesia snapped at the group of arcosians that showed up, Bloom snapped at the demonic person and nobody seemed to listen to Frozone's attempt to calm down. Neo wanted to stop this madness, but she simply couldn't abandon the magic circle, especially with Synth preoccupied. Left with no other choice, she was left to purify the city by herself. However, strangely, the corruption inside the air seemed to be wavering. But the ritual was doing its magic. Any lingering corruption was sucked into the midst of the rune, forming a small ball of energy. Soon, the once red skies and the evil energy would slowly grow to be no more. It had shocked the young doragon to feel such a sudden shift. Wasn't it once strong enough to turn the entire city evil? Frozone had issues of his own. His speech instead seemed to do nothing, and in fact, incited one of the arcosians to fight with him. "Fuck off," he said to Gelu. "Don't test people while they're working. I don't want to fight." He said to the arcosian. Thaw also seemed to attack him, this time with words for what he had done. He was growing increasingly irate with these two. The last straw was when Gelu tried to push him away from the city ."That's it. I'm done messing around." With a burst of strength, Frozone's body began to shift, turning monstrous in shape. Slowly, Gelu would notice that it would be harder than before to push him and his kick did little to nothing to affect the transformed changeling. "If you want to fight I'll give you one. Just to make you shut up." Holding up his hand, he would then unleash a giant ki blast towards Gelu's side, intending to make distance towards the two. He didn't want to fight, but he simply couldn't get his message across to these idiots. Unfortunately, by the time Carro had said his speech, it was too late. The two had already engaged in combat. Well, that sure put a damper on his fighting spirit.
For one, the enemy flat-out ignored him. How rude! When somebody was telling you to get off their planet, at least respond, right? Was he really that much of a non-factor? Before Synthesia could start feeling self-conscious, something else happened- the short boy found his voice and demanded that everybody stop.
Sure, whatever. Synthesia could 'chill' for a moment, as the younguns say. He crossed his arms and cast his scrutinizing gaze on the impressively small Saiyan boy. Yeah, he was angry! Yeah, he did think that these Arocians sure picked a bad time to test them! Yeah, he sure did think that they should be kicked off the planet! He might not have said that exactly, but Synthesia was sure he was thinking it. They were on the same wavelength.
Then, the Saiyan took a steep nosedive off that wavelength and rode one back to where he came. What was he doing, trying to make those space lizards look justified? They weren't at all! Why was he defending them? Why couldn't the child of nature seem to find anything wrong with what he was saying?
Synthesia knew that he wasn't there for the attacks on the cities. He knew that in the grand scheme of things, he had done... nothing of note, really. He didn't know how to fight with allies, he didn't know how to keep his feelings and emotions in check, he just... existed. Existed with the best of intentions, but those could only get you so far. Synthesia bit the inside of his mouth. He hated when he was wrong.
But he didn't mind as much when other people were right. Synthesia slowly turned around and walked towards his Doragon friend. He knelt down on the other side of the circle, placing his hands on it. Moments later, the intensity of the spell intensified greatly- but Synthesia seemed to look quite a bit thinner than he did before. He shot a weary grin up at Neo. "Sorry... I get my magic fron the earth, so I'll just need to use what's inside my body right now." That magic also happened to be what was keeping him alive, but those were problems for later. He needed to do what he could.
He shot a glance back at the small Saiyan, who was being carried away by the metallic man. He then shifted his gaze down to himself, satisfied. It definitely wouldn't be his fault that his allies turned on each other. He'd show that little monkey just how wrong he was!

Post by Ledinjin Frost on Nov 6, 2018 14:40:54 GMT -6
Ledinjin didn't realize what happened between when he and Saizomaru clashed with one another. He assumed the attack at such close proximity would've knocked the android back... And yet, he hadn't been damaged! Vic, however, did manage to glimpse this and entered a panic mode. Carro, the small saiyan and hopefully still friend of his had slipped in and guarded the cyborg! On top of this, the ghost, Banshee, had attacked and been stopped by Carro. Vicarous remained horrified in his silence. After that, somehow, the saiyan mustered up the gall to speak about what exactly was going on there. Midway through this, Ledinjin realized what happened and snapped out of his hard ass mentality with testing the Troopers, telling Thaw and Gelu, "Lads, stand down!"Right now, Carro was hitting the nail on the head on why Ledinjin was doing this. He wasn't aiming to be an overlord, like how Banshee vehemently accused him of being! They'd not lived in Arcose and lived through practically a whole century to see WTF's damage, and what was boggling him was that the very, 'ghost,' didn't see that. Saizomaru, after this speech and helping Carro to his feet, thought to the same. "That is correct Carro," Ledinjin admitted, slapping the back of his hand into his other's palm, "I've done this to make sure you don't break down and can learn how to fight in the city, when the villains of this damn universe decide, 'We're not leaving the city'! Most of you failed to realize that was the sort of test and in so doing, you've immediately turned on each other and bickered about why I was doing this. Meanwhile..."He pointed at the hole where Allium and Bloom just went. "Destruction of the city is literally happening beneath our feet... So what I intend to do is manage this city and teach you how to fight around civilians in a safe manner! When I see you're capable of doing this, I will relinquish the entire defense of this city to you. These civilians, though they won't like us because of what we've done here, will be treated to the best of our care and be checked for any residual energy that may still be corrupting their minds and Kinetic Reservoirs, even after your friend's strange method to cleanse it on such a large scale... Unless you each have something to squabble with me about that? Thaw, go break up that fight with your brother and the one he's fighting before going down into the sewers to stop Bloom and that other guy from ripping each other apart! I will watch over everything here. Vic, lead Saizomaru to our ship. We should have medical supplies and repair tools for Carro and LEO."Vicarous nodded, groaning out a painful sigh after a deep breath, turning out more into a shriek. He ran over to Carro and Saizomaru, bowing while standing about ten feet away and beckoning in such a rapid tone, "Please can you come with me I'm so sorry about my Leader's actions it's just so dumb!"Ledinjin wasn't about to diminish his power for the sake of it, should anyone try something dumb. The small outburst here was nothing but an indicator that the Pride Troopers needed to train so they could be ready in the future... Hopefully they'd see past this test so they could work from the ground up. It was for a better tomorrow, in the end. Pure and simple. Ledinjin agrees with Carro's speech fully and through, stating that he intends to train the Pride Troopers to be able to fight against adversaries that don't care about the civilians being involved before eventually relinquishing the city's protection to them. However, as they are now, he refuses to let them do so right now with how dysfunctional they are making themselves perceived to him! He also orders Thaw to go break up the two fights with Thaw+Frozone, and Bloom+Allium.

The fight had ended just as soon as it had started, with Carro proving to be the voice of reason. Some part of Banshee was relieved that this might end more peaceably, but she found little solace in Ledinjin's new diplomatic approach. Moreover, she disagreed with the android's sentiments: she would not relinquish this city to the Arcosians under any circumstances. They had no right to hand the city over: that's now how Earth worked. "I'm glad you at least saw fit to end your little game, but this isn't going to conclude with you taking the city. I don't care if you're a conqueror or not, this city belongs to the people that live here. You can help provide aid if you want. You can help us rebuild from all the damage caused during the months of chaos caused because of the affliction that beset them. But you're not 'managing' anything."
She pointed down towards where Allium and Bloom had vanished. "That was preventable. And it would have been prevented had we not been forced to take a defensive stance against an attacking force. Maybe we do need to train more on how to fight in urban areas, but it won't be from you and there won't be any 'relinquishing the city's defense' happening one way or another." Her stare grew cold again. She wasn't planning on launching another attack, but it her distaste for the alien's actions was written plain across her features. Whether this could be resolved through words or not, there was no question she had lost a great deal of respect for the man she had once died alongside. She gestured in a sweeping motion to indicate the city around her.
"When the spell has been lifted, our only mandate here is to help life return to normal. Neither the Pride Troopers nor your group will claim leadership of the city or its defense. If the people here choose you to be their protectors or choose you to be their governors or whatever it is you're after, then that's up to them. But it won't be forced upon them." She crossed her arms across her chest and narrowed her eyes, but her posture was still very much defensive. She couldn't bring herself to trust that this fight was well and truly over, now that she had made it clear that his terms weren't acceptable.
"Any arrangement that involves someone seizing some position of power over this city is off the table. That point is non-negotiable. I don't care if I have to fight your entire force alone. Earth's cities aren't a bargaining chip to be tossed around by self-important alien armies."

And it was a no, why did they always have to make things hard. With a sigh Gelu pushed off and proceeded to push the other Arcosian out of the city with more ease than he thought he would have. Soon enough though such ease started to disappear, replaced by a larger power and body as well, more grotesque too. Gelu's scouter had started to beep indicating the rise in power level, but he didn't need that to tell him what was going here. He knew very well, as he attempted to kick the arcosian away and found little more than a foothold with which to use to place distance between himself and Frozone. He smirked at the other Arcosian who had jumped straight to his third form, "Hey's why so ser-" He didn't get to finish before Frozone fired a blast of ki at him. He would fire a blast of ki from his own eyes in order to counter blast, and they would clash for a moment before Gelu realized he was being foolish. He body swelled and contorted, as his own power surged just as his opponent's had moments before. The energy being supplied to his ki blasts now four times what it had been before easily tore it's way through Frozone's attack and would hit him squarely in the chest, lest he had something else up his sleeve. "Are you sure you want to be throwing around attacks like that in the middle of the city you're supposed to be protecting friend?" He called after Frozone. Should the attack hit the arcosian Gelu would charge in quickly, launching a high kick to his head from the right, though that was more means for distraction as the young arcosian would attempt to wrap his tail around Frozone's ankle. Should he accomplish this he would begin waving the arcosian around slamming him into the ground over and over again. Gelu transformed to Monster form.

Thaw bloodshot eyes, quickly turned to shocking as his jaw dropped in awe at this man's interruption once again. Thaw bringing his arm to his side as he heard what the boy had to say. After hearing on what he had to say, he responded back with his arms folded across his chest.
"Your words are indeed powerful boy. I agree that this senseless fighting won't benefit this city nor each other."
After hearing what Led had to say, he nodded in agreement and looked back at Carro.
"Just know this, Nine years of destroying the WTF bases on other planets. I have seen them enslave a race of people, destroy cities into wastelands, and even planets... Your words may be powerful enough to stop us from fighting. But words alone won't stop the WTF. There leader, Boreal, is someone even I wouldn't mess with... You have guts and courage for what you did by stopping my attack and also that ghost.. you could one day even become stronger than me if you don't die young. I just want to let you and everyone here know, that not all arcosians are evil."
He patted Carro on the head and smiled at him genuinely. He then looked at the ongoing battle between his brother and Frozone from a distance and whispered to Carro before leaving.
"We have a ship not to far from here with medical supplies. Treat yourself and others who are wounded here."
Thaw looked down to Carro with a serious stare of believing in him.
"I must stop the others from doing more damage.."
With that, he vanished.
Gelu's ki blast headed straight for Frozone and before Frozone could even react to it, Thaw appearing in the way and activating his ki orange armor to cover his body just in time to stop Gelu's ki blast aftermath damage from going any further and self destroying itself from the armor. The smoke had formed and his brother made his advances within the clouded smoke. When the smoke ended, Thaw grabbing a hold of Gelu's ankle with a tight grip and slamming his foot down in an attempt to press his tail against the ground. The smoke had cleared and the both of them could be seen staring at one another.
"Gelu stop, Led has ordered us to stand down. Our test is over with."
After saying those words, he would release Gelu's ankle and step off his tail and turned to face Frozone.
"You stop as well. We all have agreed that this fighting is pointless."
Vanishing from his position now, he headed straight to the sewer hole where both Allium and Bloom had entered in. He jumped inside and flew straight to where Allium and Bloom were now in.
Heading to the split DE on where both Allium and Bloom is currently at and using orange ki armor to stop Gelu's bleedthrough damage. 2/3 Kp

CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 160,000 (x4P)
Carro flinched as he found himself plucked off the ground by Saizomaru, his legs briefly flailing before coming to a still. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth as everyone seemed to agree to stop, and Ledinjin was quick to task Thaw with breaking up the last remaining scuffles. "Whew...!" The saiyan couldn't help but to grin as his body ragdolled in the android's arms. "T-that was terrifying. I wasn't sure if you were all gonna blast me when I was done or not!" The CEO half-joked with a shrug and meek chuckle that ended in a bloodied cough.
The battle had ended, but the war still waged. Carro's gaze trained on Ledinjin once he had been set down beside Neo and Synthesia as the Arcosian explained himself further... He wanted the city under his watch, though, since the Pride Troopers hadn't passed his little exam. The tiny mechanic's gaze narrowed fiercely, his smile fading into a frown as Banshee retorted back, refusing to give up the entire capitol to the stranger without a fight.
Before he could open his mouth, the other Arcosian, Thaw, approached him. Nodding along with a meek grin, Carro found it odd, but somewhat admirable at the same time how quick the blue-skinned alien was to change his opinion of him. "Well..." The saiyan grinned back and flashed a shaky thumbs-up to Thaw. "I'll just say that you'll see that we aren't just all bark soon enough." With that, the two parted ways as Vicarous apologized and beckoned him to come with. Carro just laughed weakly again, forcing himself to his feet. "Nah. One sec." And so he trudged right past Vic and Saizo, strutting forwards and stopping right beside Banshee, his one open eye narrowed at Ledinjin.
"So the Pride Troopers didn't pass this little experiment, huh?" Carro shrugged, a teasing smile spreading across his face. "You really should know that they aren't the one and only grouped line of defense Earth has to offer, riiiiight?" Carro leaned forwards, his legs still shaking somewhat. His body ached, but he just had to stand for a little longer now... "You won't take this city for your own. At least, not today."
"I'll give us two weeks. Two week from now, we'll have a rematch to determine what happens to this city, fair and square. But you won't be fighting the Pride Troopers while you still have to "teach them" or whatever." He raised his bloodied arm to point to himself. "You'll be fighting Crop Corporated." Confidence oozed from Carro's expression, but the saiyan couldn't help but to worry just what he could be getting himself into. He didn't show it on his face though. He couldn't- not yet, at least.
"This'll be three against three, I imagine. You win, you can watch the city for awhile longer, but I won't permit you to completely and independently own it either way. But hey, you want us to prove ourselves or whatever? Fine." His arm drooped back down, the saiyan's single open eye briefly closing in pain. He still kept his smile donned regardless. "Until our rematch and you preform this little test again- this time on my people- Satan City will not be owned by you. You may watch over it if need be, but you won't be making any executive decisions as some sort of indomitable owner of the city."
Carro's body shook and staggered for a moment. "...And on that day, I'll show you the true, united force us Earthlings hold. The power you so badly want to see, right?" The saiyan slumped again for a moment before forcing himself upright. "I have shown you what I can do with my words, but if you still want to see what we can do with our fists, then what better way then this?"
"Ugh..." Carro groaned, finally falling to his knees. "...Yeah. Gooonnnna need some patching up now." He stood again, admitting to a limp now and holding one of his injured arms. "...man, sulfur's gonna kill me when she sees me like this." The CEO muttered with his eyes closed, likely listening to whatever response Ledinjin and the rest of the group had. If they agreed by his terms, little more than a smile and a nod would be offered from Carro as he turned around, giving one last two-fingered salute to the group and returning to Vicarous' side.
"...So. About those medical supplies."
Carro challenges the FPR to a rematch VS Crop Co to determine the fate of Satan City!

Saizomaru PL: 225,000 (Overdrive Active)
"Enough!"
Saizomaru's voice boomed out loud as though yelled through a megaphone. That one word echoed again and again in the empty square of Badman City, reverberating across its streets for all here to hear. His blue eyes swayed across his field of view from ally to enemy alike. Then it had latched onto Banshee regardless whether or not she had turned her attention to him.
He shook his head at her regardless. "Stand down. There is no point in mincing words here. What is done, is done. Let them have the city." He viewed what was left of the ruins of Badman Square. Whether or not the damage was done now or prior to this engagement was irrelevant. It had happened. That was all that mattered. "If they're so adamant about having it, then they can rebuild this city without our help. The burden now falls upon their shoulders."
But more than anything else it was Ledinjin who continued to annoy and irate the android. His aloft position made Saizomaru sick, if that was even possible.
"You have nothing of merit or worth that you could teach me," he spat at the arcosian. "Not now. Not ever." He turned to gaze at Thaw with an almost bloodthirsty stare. "If you cannot even teach your own minions how to fight without blowing up buildings, then you have no chance teaching anyone.
"And… your test? I don't care about passing or failing your test. It held no value, no merit, no meaning. A waste of my time."
Another man made their way towards the group at the ritual sigil. Saizomaru hadn't recognized him until he had spoke. It was the same person who gave them warning of the incoming assault. Now, this person was offering the group shelter inside their ship.
The android huffed. "You have nothing to offer me that I don't already have." He turned and walked away from the rest of the group. He was done here. There was nothing left for him to do or to prove. Staying any longer was a waste.
Until Carro began to speak. The android stopped again.
A rematch? Own the city? A test? Those words only further began to fuel Saizomaru's rage. His metal fists clenched and gripped that one could hear the bending of metal under the pressure. Behind closed lips his gritted his teeth and scowled at nothing. Was this all some sort of game to them? Did they think this city was just a piece on a board game for people to fight over?
What the hell needed to be done until this city fell back into the hands of who deserved it most? When would it belong to the people once again?
He wanted to scream. He wanted to shout. He wanted to curse and cuss at everyone. He wanted to beat everyone here into the dirt until they were little else than quivering, half-dead corpses.
But he couldn't. This wasn't his decision to make, nor could he do it alone. No, this must be the Will of Hokuto. Perhaps it was the heavens themselves that decided this fate. Maybe Saizomaru would be called upon, when the time was right, to retake this city for the people who deserved it the most.
He took a step. Then another. He continued to make his way away from the city, silent, yet seething.

With Synth's help, the magic ritual went by much faster than it would have if she were to do it by herself. Almost immediately, the remnants of the stray evil energy that was within the air seemed to disappear into the glowing salt and crushed tourmaline. However, Neo was still concerned, after all, Synth was using his own energy to power this magic rune. She shot a wary smile towards the bio-android, "If you feel too tired to continue to feel free to leave the rest to me. I can take care of it." She offered. This was already going much better than she had expected it to go in the first place.
However, there was something strange that she simply couldn't explain. While some of the evil energy was being sucked into the rune, a large chunk of it was disappearing. It was as if the source of the magic, the monster that caused this mess had given up control of the spell. Soon, the air was completely clean of the evil energy. The civilians would soon wake up from their spell, feeling as if they have all been in a bad dream. Satan City was finally free from evil magic.
Once she was positive all the evil energy was gone, Neo looked towards Synthesia with a smile on her face. They did it, it was free. "The magic is all gone now, I've contained it in here. Thank you for your help Synth." Standing up, Neo would wave her hand across the rune and the glowing would condense together, slowly shrinking in size until it was smaller than her own palm. With a flick of her hand, the light dissipated, revealing a black refined gem with flecks of red floating around. Taking the gem in her hand, Neo looked at it before lifting it up. "This is the remnant of the evil energy I have collected. I'm going to keep it and upon Saban's will, I will find a way to purify it so this can't happen again." Getting down to her knees, Neo muttered a small prayer. "Saban, please bless this city and all that it be through. Thank you for protecting me now, and please I request you help protect me a little longer." After all, there was something still wrong. Despite most of the energy being cleared from the air, she could still feel something. Specks of the evil magic inside a familiar energy that she simply couldn't ignore. She had to get rid of it.
His attack was eaten by Gelu as if it was nothing. He growled, angered by the strength of this opponent. Frozone was about to take Gelu's attacks when Thaw came and broke up the fight. So finally they came to their senses. It was about time. He nodded, "If you're done fooling around, I'm going back to Neo. I'm sure she'll be happy this all stopped." Despite how weird he thought Thaw was, he was definitely glad he stepped in and stopped his brother. Perhaps he wasn't so bad after all... maybe. Without another word, he flew off to Neo. "I'm sorry, I just got preoccupied." Looking at the remnants of the runes that she carved on the grown he nodded. "I reckon we're done?"
Neo shook her head in response. She couldn't just let it rest within her. She was such a sweet soul. Climbing onto his back, Neo pointed towards the direction of a manhole that leads to the sewer. "There's still something I need to do. Follow my lead." She said. Without hesitation, Frozone followed her order, blasting off the cover with a ki blast. The two would then disappear into the darkness of the sewer, chasing after a certain someone.

Posting from phone. XP prior: 2992 Banshee saw fit to maintain this argument about Ledinjin not going to be some Overlord of the city. This was being an immense pain, but that was expected. Thaw went to follow orders and broke up the immediate small scuffle, as the energy over the city ended. At this point, Ledinjin could focus on Banshee for the time being. However, Carro had a declaration to make. He intended to challenge Led and the FPR at a later date for the protection of this city. In the meantime, he was requesting that Ledinjin not just have them be solely protecting the city more politely, although aggressively, than Banshee. Ledinjin nodded in agreement, iterating, "That would be lunacy if I rejected any assistance to protect this city. I will agree with this challenge, but until then, we of the FPR are going to act as the immediate defense of this city. During this time, the Pride Troopers can train with us if they so choose. It is up to them... For now, let's get you patched up, Carro."Vic came over before Ledinjin could wave him over, assisting Carro silently as the cyborg saw fit to walk away in his own anger and frustration. Ledinjin made his way to assist but Vic told him, "I got it." "Alright," Ledinjin replied. He saw Thaw was already en route to stop Bloom and the other, while Gelu was in a defensive position. He told Gelu, "Gelu, when you're good, make your way over to where Thaw and Bloom are. No more destructive power is to be displayed. You both make sure they head their separate ways, too, before you and your brother head back to base."Thaw was certainly too wild to keep his power contained at points, as this test showed. While the Pride was being tested on their defense abilities, Ledinjin was testing his own on how well they can contain... They needed work, but not as much as the Pride. As he moved away with Carro and Vic, he looked back to Bashee. He pointed to her and iterated, "If you intend to mandate this, I tell you to come with and speak with us on this, Banshee. I implore you to do so..."It was Banshee that Ledinjin had to speak to of the Troop. Sai had immediately jumped to death threats and this new captain hadn't lifted or spoke a single word after organizing them loosely. They needed a leading voice. Word count: 412
Xp after: 3166 Ledinjin and Vicarous intend to leave this DE Banshee

THIS CITY OF OURS| Banshee's PL: 109,500 (Base 36,500 -x3 Modifier) |
"This city isn't theirs to take, and it's not yours to give," Banshee snapped at Saizomaro as he began to make his exit. As much as she liked the android, she felt a great frustration that the point of Arcosian lordship over the city hadn't provoked more of a response. She had to figure that he was less accepting of the idea than he appeared on the outside, but even so. Although Carro seemed to be more on her side, his own solution was no less aggravating. "--And this city isn't yours to gamble over.""The answer is no. I don't care how important you think you or your rebels are, but you don't get control over the city, or over the city's defenses. If you want to protect it, then you can protect it. But you didn't threaten to interrupt our entire operation here, risking countless lives only to sneak away from this with a feather in the cap for your organization." She stared at Ledinjin, long and hard. She was starting to feel that perhaps his motives had been a little more pure than she thought when he first declared his intention to fight, but there was still something off about the whole ordeal. She lidded her eyes and stood in place. While the others left, she would remain behind to ensure there were no last-minute tricks or back-stabbings. Most importantly, she would remain to ensure that Satan City returned to the way it was. "The defense of this city belongs as much to me as it does to any of your rebels. It belongs as much to the civilians here as it does to any of us. Whatever gamble you two intend to make --" she gestured between Carro and Ledinjin. "It will not include any form of authority over these people, their city, or their security. Like I said before, and like I will continue to say. Either you're chosen by them for whatever lofty positions you're after, or you play by the same rules as everyone else."
"This is not a point I will relinquish, no matter what games the rest of you intend to play."
Banshee refuses to allow any group to assume control over the city's defenses. She also attempts to deny Crop Co the right to gamble city authority in their duel.

He smirked as his attack went through the other Arcosian's like hot knife through butter. He was sure that the attack was going to land sliding into his next move as he charged Frozone. His scouter went off at the last second, he almost ignored it, but the number was familiar and so was the voice that followed shortly after. It was Thaw, and it seemed he had blocked the attack for Frozone, why on earth would he do that? Gelu would get his answer shortly after, when he was told that Led had called an end to their little exercise.
"Really? Just like that? Why did we even bother in the first place?"
It didn't take long before Frozone flew off and Thaw went to go stop another fight. Gelu scratched his head and sighed, well he may as well head back. Taking to the skies he went back to the site where everyone else was. Upon his arrival he saw one person in particular who was injured. Everyone else was fine as far as he could tell, aside from hurt feelings.
When he arrived, Led told him to go look for Thaw and Bloom. He pushed on his scouter, noticing that most of the energy had dispersed, in fact Thaw's energy was gone from the area. "Ah, I don't think Thaw is in the city anymore," he said looking over to Led.
"I guess I can go look for him."
