Tapping her foot in front of the gravestones lined up against the field, Xana pondered to herself. Was the Saiyan Kingdom truly okay? What things had gone wrong while she was away? The Fleet recovered quickly from their lose of their leader and the Saiyan kingdom gained a new one themselves, all from mysterious origins. Xana had only seen the news updates but hadn’t heard the stories, and in all honesty, it was driving her mad. A space pirate who wanted the return of Saiyan Solar Empire? Surely Vocado didn’t give her some sort of control over the whole Kingdom, right?
The Saiyaness grabbed her forehead and began to rub her temples. This month has definitely been interested to say the least. It was almost like fate was against her. Xana’s stomach grumbled in discomfort and hunger over her recent thoughts, so perhaps food was the next stop of the day, but not before a goodbye. Xana got onto one knee and put a hand on the gravestone before her. It was a sword with acid stains in the rainbow stained blade that had solidified from the creature’s death. The False Queen placed her head on the handle of the rapier, pausing as she let her thoughts flow. Perhaps from the other side, Chapron could hear them, but the mystery was to be explored later.
A minute passed, then two before Xana stood up and frowned. “It’s really not fair. You protect Earth for two hundred years and you die on Namek.” The Saiyaness muttered, taking a step back. It was time to get going. There was already a lot of drama, Xana didn’t need to stay here and get caught up in more emotions. Keeping to foot, Xana took to the dirt path, eyes low as she started to advance towards base. Surely lunch would be soon, meaning Xana was moments away from scarfing down on who-knows-what for the next half hour until she felt satisfied. The idea of a full stomach set Xana’s pace a little faster, but something in her mind told her to hang back. Was her saiyan gut telling her to keep on guard or was it telling her to be welcoming for something approaching? Either way, Xana’s instincts were twitching on this walk home.

Nashua had been to the Mazoku Gravesite once before, and it wasn't the most eventful of occasions. She ran into one of Chamil's friends, she was pretty sure, though that whole relationship was sort of dissolved now that Chamil had, well, dissolved. She hadn't gotten the proper chance to pay her respects to the fallen warriors of old like the elder Namekian had advised, so with the current lull of activity, Nashua didn't see the harm in making her way back over. The trip was pretty quick and easy - Nashua could fly so fast now, it felt like she could clear insane distances in the blink of an eye. Although, she found herself to be very loud when going that fast, as objects speeding through the air tended to be, so it was a fine line to walk of speed and discreetness.
Either way, Nashua abruptly came to a halt and landed when she reached the vicinity of the Gravesite, touching down a ways outside and making the quaint stroll up towards it. The area it was in was quite a peaceful one, though it somehow managed to avoid bordering on eerie, instead carrying more of a heavy but bearable air of peace and calmness to it. It housed the corpses of many warriors who'd lived battle heavy lives, and they could finally be at rest. Nashua was contemplative of where she and the fellow warriors she was familiar with would end up when their times had finally come, though she was broken away from her deep thoughts when she noticed an energy signature up ahead on her scouter. She was slightly wary at first, but when she saw how low it was, her worries dissipated. It must have just been a local Namekian or something.
She was quickly proven wrong, though, as she spotted none other than Xanathrozza, the royal Saiyan. "Whoa, Xana!" she exclaimed as she jogged up to the slightly taller woman, surprised to see her. "What're you doing around here? I thought you high tailed it off to Earth weeks ago! Did you just come back, or something?" She hadn't seen the 'Queen to be' since their training session with Ramen weeks earlier, and just kind of thought that Xana had fled off to Earth like she'd been planning to. It was good to see that she'd stuck around after all, though. With a glance past the woman up at the Gravesite, Nashua added, "What're you doing at the Mazoku Gravesite, by the way? Paying your respects to someone? Either way, it's great to see my other tailless friend!

As Xana carried on her march to base, her scouter began to light up. At first, Xana assumed she was passing by a mutated Namekian who had gotten to close to civilization, but as the beeping grew more alarming, Xana got into a fighting stance, ot at least, attempted. She got about half way through with forming it before Nashua, the other tailless Saiyan on Namek, appeared in the blink of an eye. Jumping back out of pure fear, Xana began to shake with what she just saw. “I… you… how did you… I didn’t…” she tried to force out something that expressed her thoughts, but the suddenness of it all was too strange.
Yet all the while, Nashua was so casual. Hell, naive even. Her opening statement was that she was thought to be back on Earth, which Xana replied to with a shaking head and a sharp exhale. “Nope. After everyone demanded I stay, I figured it would be best not to disappoint them. I just… locked myself in my room is all.” Xana pursed her lips into a flat face, which only grew even flatter somehow when Nashua questioned why Xana might be in the graveyard. The Saiyaness entertained her though, not letting on that she was still caught on her friend. “Oh yeah, actually, I was studying some samples of moss around the area. Turns out I could change this stuff into chocolate so long as I have milk.” Xana tipped her waist and smirked. “Too bad we’re fifty thousand miles away from the nearest space station.”
Xana flipped her large bangs out of her face, only to have them fall right back into place as Xana tipped her head back a bit. “So what are you up to out here? Invaders? Searching for inner peace?” The Engineer turned away from Nashua, leaving her back turned as she stared into the sea green sky. “Maybe you’re looking for a fight? Who knows, you’re a mysterious fellow to me now.” Xana stared at one of the sun's indirectly, pondering its weaker glow that filled the sky. Was this Xana’s chance to get her questions answered? Nashua was a high ranking member anyways, or was anyways. She’s bound to know something everyone else doesn’t.

You can turn moss into... Chocolate? Nashua looked puzzled at the prospect of it, and had to wonder how healthy chocolate procured from moss was. She was pretty sure moss was kind of poisonous, with all sorts of parasites and bugs in it, but, hey, Xana was the scientist between the two of them. She probably knew what she was talking about. "Nah, nothing like that," Nashua replied with a brief chuckle when Xana tried to guess at what she was doing here. "We're supposed to establish friendly relations with the locals as well as we can, and some of the Namekians around here suggested I go offer up my prayers to some of their fallen warriors here, to better understand their culture and gain some personal respect for it, I suppose." Something about the Gravesite certainly made her introspective, but she wasn't sure she was praying right whenever she came around.
"If you want, you can come join me," Nashua offered, "Though if you just came from inside, then it's alright if you'd rather not. I don't want to waste your time or anything." Not that it sounded like Xana was using her time for much of anything important, though. If she'd been moping in her room the past several weeks while soldiers had been fighting and dying, then Nashua had to wonder why she was so highly regarded by Vocado, still. Oh, well, if the King- or, once King, saw something in Xana, then Nashua supposed she could ignore the royal Saiyan's lack of action. From the sound of it, though, Xana hadn't exactly stayed informed on what was going on around outside her room in all the time she'd kept herself cooped up in there. Maybe Nashua could help her out by filling her in on some stuff.
"Though, it might be helpful if I brought you up to speed with what's been going on," she stated as she walked up from behind Xana and surpassed her by a few meters, glancing back at the Saiyan and pausing in her tracks. "Plus, I can show you how to pray! One of the elder Namekians showed me one time, and it's not as easy as you'd think. Although, you have to get your knees dirty, a little bit. And it helps to know who you're praying too, and my research on old Namekian warriors has been, uh... Difficult." She could only remember one or two names off the top of her head, even, but it was better than having no idea who a single person buried in the Gravesite was. Maybe Xana knew a thing or two she could even teach Nashua, in return.

Nashua was definitely something. It was a surprise when one of the strongest Saiyans on Vegeta was the Saiyan Kingdom’s leading advocate for peace. It surprised her that she could be so wise as to convince a whole planet to side with the Saiyans. Even now, it surprised her than she would be so willing to understand the culture of Namekians when it seemed that it did not matter anymore. Xana wasn’t going to admit it now, but Nashua truly was a good person. “Good plan. Yeah, I don’t we why not, maybe I’ll see some familiar names.” The False Queen smiled, turning back to the way she just came from, now with her new friend by her side.
As the two began to walk, Nashua offered the idea to inform Xana of everything that’s happened since she locked herself away. The Engineer nodded and tapped a finger in her chin. “Yes, I was looking for someone who could do that, but I had some insecurities with asking some people.” When the two walked the few hundred yards to get back to the graveyard, Nashua said she could teach Xana how to pray like a traditional Namekian. The False Queen stopped in her tracks and twisted her lips, as if confused by the statement. “Wait, so they taught you how to pray? Doesn’t that require you to know the Namekian language?” Xana pushed forward for an answer, leaning in the Nashua. It seemed Xana was not the only wasting her time if she had learned to speak Namek.

The Saiyan was glad to see Xana agree to come along with her, and smiled at the royal engineer as she began to walk alongside her at a relaxing pace. "Oh, don't worry about asking me," Nashua reassured Xana with a smile. "My power level might be high, but I'm just a regular Saiyan, really - I don't have any of that royal blood you have, so, you know, you're kind of above me on the Saiyan hierarchy." She wasn't sure if that was what was really making Xana anxious, but Nashua knew she always felt a little more comfortable asking favors of others if it was more in her right to do so. It'd be more odd for her to ask Vocado to fetch her something than it would be to ask a common soldier to, for example. "Plus, I don't bite. Not outside my Oozaru form, at least, and, well," Nashua turned and wiggled her tailless backside at Xana for a moment, "That's not really a thing anymore."
Returning to her normal stance, Nashua glanced ahead to see the gravestones of the site come into view. They were each impressively carved and would surely stand the test of time, and many already had. It was hard to say how old the oldest gravestone was, or even which one was the oldest. When Xana asked her if she knew how to speak Namekian, Nashua looked puzzled. "Speak... Namekian? That's a language?" The Saiyan asked curiously. "Well, no, they just taught me how to say some weird sounding words that don't really make much sense. Maybe that's Namekian?" It hadn't occurred to her that she'd been learning an actual language. Well, maybe she wasn't really learning it, since she had no idea what any of the words meant, but she had learned how to say some words in the language, possibly.
"Anyway, in terms of catching you up," Nashua began as the pair walked through the Gravesite, Nashua being more careful not to trip over any tombstones this time, "Uhh, this pirate lady named Kayen showed up and challenged Vocado for his throne, and then they fought to a draw, so they decided to be co leaders until we retake Vegeta... What else...? Oh, right, Chamil died, and so did Boreal. They actually murdered each other, apparently. But all the Dragon Balls she had on her were lost to the wind, so the hunt is taking a little longer... Hmm... Oh, Vocado killed this one Fleet member who was actually trying to help us out, for some reason, and I talked to him about it, and we made him, and he promoted me back to his second in command!" Nashua paused for a second, then added, "Huh, so I guess I do actually outrank you."
