Kayen grinned at the Demon, he had not quite fully accepted her warnings but that actually made her respect him just a little bit more. She was fairly certain that in his place she would have given a very similar sort of response, taking on the advice that another fight with this new opponent could lead to death but knowing full well that it was impossible to be certain that you wouldn't run headlong into such a battle.
For Kayen it was the very fact that such danger existed that would probably draw her in, the inherent danger of such an encounter would push her to grow stronger for when it inevitably cropped up and the battle itself even if she lost, as long as she found a way to survive would lead to her strength increasing further.
“Don’t get yourself killed, and keep an open mind. If the Fleet ends up not being worth your time, the Kingdom might not have the same danger as the Fleet does consider they’re on the losing end of things, but you’ll find yourself with better opportunities to train your power elsewhere” Kayen said with a grin as the Demon prepared to take off giving him an offer to seek a place within the Kingdom if he was ever interested.
