Battle could be heard, many explosions and lights showing in the distance of the forest. Animals running in panic as the energy blasts narrowly missed some and others not so fortunate as some of the forest was turned to ash. In the middle of this forest, a roar of rage could be heard ringing out as black and green ki surged from within. Sensoa was currently fighting a group of rebels who were well experienced in the art of stealth and where currently using that to confuse the demon. They were throwing explosives, laying traps and generally just trying to hurt the demon. It was clearly not working, but instead was causing the demon to become more enraged as the battle continued on. A large section of land having received heavy damage from the battle, tree's toppled over and ground up heaved. This was a battle of endurance between the forces. Sensoa had the power to crushed them, but his opponents were very skilled in their art. When he was about to catch one, they had a trap or plan set just for that. Some were smoke bombs, some where just explosives set to knock him off balance. They even buried him a live at one point, but he had managed to break free of that. It was clearly a stale mate between the two forces, this leaving the demon panting yet not without reason. He had been doing battle for nearly 2 hours now, his mouth foaming with green fire at how angry he was. He was beyond words now, so much so that he was not saying anything beyond roars of anger. After a particularly frustrating failure to capture a sneaky rebel, Sensoa seemed to have enough of this. A roar a resounded loud enough to uproot rocks, his voice ringing out over the horizon. Holding one hand out in front of him, energy began to gather in his palm before extending outward to form a blade. The rebels were baffled by what was happening, unable to understand what he was doing. It was when he pulled the blade back, energy collecting in the blade itself that they understood. The rebels ducking just in time to avoid the blade as it swung across the horizon. The blade itself not cutting anything but the sheer pressure and the hell fire that accompanied it was enough to destroy the earth before him. The segments of the ground lifting high into the air, trees flying into the horizon and the pressure causing trees not struck to bent away from the battle from the wind. As the rocks that were launched into the air came slowly crashing to the ground, trees landing in other trees and the rocks beginning to settle, the demon was left standing with a massive cleave of earth in a crescent shape before him. It was evident to anyone looking however, that the demon had used quite a bit of energy for that attack, his body heaving for breath and his muscles twitching as he leaned forward to catch his breath. He was so angry, he didn't even notice he had just broken a few ribs from just swinging so hard. He was literally destroying himself in his anger, but the rage kept him from feeling it. Chime's PL: 28,000
Over the trees of the vast Fukurou Forest, Chime flew lazily overhead. The forest was ancient, and sacred. Traditionally, protection of the forest fell to the Senbyo of the tower, which loomed over the forest and could be seen from almost anywhere within it. But in his absence , that duty fell to his Regent, Cobalt, and in part, Chime himself. It wasn't technically his job, he was Guardian of Earth, not Guardian of One Forest, and no one had explicitly assigned him the task, but Chime made a point to fly around the forest periodically nonetheless. He didn't want the Senbyo to finally return to his post, only to find the forest ruined, after all. Luckily, nothing ever happened around here. It was a peaceful place.
No sooner than the young Kami had that thought, he felt a terrible spike of energy, from the woods just north of him, followed by a great crashing sound, and a plume of dust rising from between the trees. He stopped midair, watching the dust grow, and hearing the crashing sounds continue, and a grave look settled over his features. This wasn't just some intense training gotten out of hand, this was a real battle. He couldn't explain how he knew, he could just feel it. Those attacks being thrown around were vicious, angry, meant to kill. He had to stop this. Without thinking, he flew down to the site of the battle as fast as he could.
When he got there, he was met with the sight of trees, stones, and dirt upturned and blown apart. Soldiers of some kind lay fallen, but not dead, all around a lone, dark warrior, the only one still standing. Chime hovered in the air above him, and pointed down to him with one finger. A bead of energy began to collect there, and he braced the arm with his other hand as he shouted, "Hey! I don't know who you are, or what this fight is about, but you need to go! There's plenty of wastelands to have your battle in, leave this forest alone!"

Sensoa was staring at the debris that had been just created, unable to spot but a few members of the rebels. He was certain he had just killed them but when one started to move, well twitch at least he was about to pounce on them. That was until a voice rang out, a Namekian dressed in a fine Garb who took offense to the demon's attack. He wanted the battle to stop the battle, one that had taken Sensoa so long to finish?! He didn't want to stop, nor was he willing to listen to reason. A roar emitted from Sensoa as he fired up his ki once more. It was clear he had no intention of stopping the battle, his rage clearly out of control. As the demon stopped roaring, he would follow this up by flying straight at the Namekian. Getting close to swinging however, he was intercepted by someone appearing behind him. The demon not seeing the person till it was to late, and with expertly refined skill the individual placed a hand on Sensoa's neck before the demon seemed to go to pudding in the others hands. The demon stopping all advances and dropping like a rock. With that the individual following him down quickly, keeping his hand on the demon's neck. Sensoa could do nothing but sit there, unable to move. He... He felt so good right now he could not possibly move from his spot. It was revealed to Sensoa that it was a wolf man wearing a butler suit and leather armor. A large smile upon the lupines face as he stared down at his student, scratching his neck. A single word escaping the Demon's mouth as he stared dumb founded. "Barban?"With that the wolf man would simply nod his head while he continued to scratch the demon's neck. Though Barban looked up at the Namekian for a brief moment as he smiled with a good natured smile. "If you would sir, please forgive my stupid idiot of a student for the trouble. I will get him out of your hair... er..."The lupines eye brow would twitch as his single eye realized the Namekian didn't have any hair. His eye closing as he realized his mistake and he attempted to fix the situation. "Antenna sir. I could use your assistance however."Barban said as he reached into his pack with the other hand, pulling out a scrubbing brush from it. Sensoa was about to speak up but was immediately stopped when the Wolf butler cracked him on the head with a sound chop. Immediately the demon went silent as he lowered his head slowly to stare. His rage completely forgotten in the shock, of what was going on. "You disappear one day, leave me completely baffled by what was going on. You run half way across a galaxy..."It was then that the Lupine butler used the brush on Sensoa's neck area, clearly using it to relax the hostile being. Sensoa had always been a troublesome child as a demon, his anger always getting him into trouble. Barban had always been able to calm the demon down this way, and it was clearly showing. He had gone from one hundred to zero in a second, his rage gone as the green eyes slowly closed, the green lights on his body dimming. "I apologize sir for this bizarre turn of events."Barban would say to the Namekian if he was present nearby, clearly focusing on his task. "Just stick with me sir and I will get him out of your way soon."Barnan said smiling once more with his most charming smile, he was clearly good at what he did if one could see the details he went too.

The response Chime got from the dark warrior on the ground was barely a response at all. He didn't argue, didn't even speak, just roared. Chime's blood ran cold. This wasn't a man, this was a monster. In a flash, the monster was hurtling through the sky at the little Namekian, at a much faster speed than he'd expected from one so large. Chime reflexively squeezed his eyes shut in fear, and fired off his attack, blind. A beam of light-blue energy shot off from his finger, into the sky, and he was pushed back in the air several feet from the force of it. It completely missed its target, but that turned out to be a good thing, as a very dapper, very hairy man suddenly appeared between the monster and his would-be green prey.
When he found he wasn't dead, and in fact wasn't hurt at all, Chime peeked an eye open. He was completely baffled by the scene before him. A very polite dog-man (Wait, no. Wolf-man. He was still learning his Earth animals) in a very nice suit, turning the raging monster to jelly with what looked like...neck scritches. He could only float there an gape at them for a few seconds before he got his wits about him enough to respond.
"Oh! It's...alright-ish. No one's dead, anyway. Do you need help with him...?" he offered, though he didn't know how he could help wrangle the large monster-man. Besides, Barban seemed to have it under control. Before he could speak again, some of the fighters buried in the rubble started to stir further.
"We should go," Chime spoke with urgency now, "Before they wake up. If they have nothing to fight, they'll just go home. ...Probably." That was what he hoped would happen, at least. If these people, whoever they were, lingered around the forest, he'd just have to come back and deal with them later, "Come on, follow me."
And with that, Chime flew off, towards the far edge of the woods.

Sensoa was silently sitting still as the Demonic butler scratched his neck, while Barban was listening to the young Namekian's words. The Lupine butler simply smiled with a slight nod, and a quick "Certainly." With that Barban slapped the side of Sensoa's head causing the demon to stir from his pleasurable state. It was time to move, much to Sensoa's frustration. Barban was quick to take to the sky, one hand resting upon a sword at his side and the other clutching the brush. The flight took a little longer than the impatient Sensoa would like, his eyes fixed on the Lupine butler, trying to figure out how the hell he got here. Barban was suppose to be in the castle of the demon realm serving his father, yet here the butler was. When they landed at the edge of the forest, the Butler simply turned to the Namekian before bowing gracefully. Barban never did slack in his manners, which annoyed the demon even more than he had thought possible. That was until the Lupine demon gave Sensoa a glare to chill a fire to ice, which caused the demon to look utterly defeated before doing the same. "I apologize for his terrible behavior."Barban said, then placing a firm hand upon Sensoa's head to force him down a little further. He was fixing the other's posture without even looking, and then returning to stand along side Sensoa. It was clear the giant green demon had no intentions of saying sorry, his arms crossed with his back turned. The butler soon placing a gloved hand to his forehead as he looked at the others hair and the mess he was in. He set upon fixing Sensoa's hair immediately, adjusting a few locks, undoing knots that had formed and attempting to make it look more neat despite it being just a mass of long hair. "I swear, I leave you unattended for 20 years and you get your hair in a fix, You break into someone else's land, you lose yourself to rage..."The demonic butler then gave a sharp yank to the larger demon's hair causing him to bend over backwards, a tear in Sensoa's green eye. "And I get myself banished just to find you in such a pathetic state... Disgraceful."Sensoa stared at his mentor's one good eye, with a bit of fear and embarrassment. Just nodded in response before being released. Sensoa grabbing his long hair before being directed to sit down upon a rock like a child by Barban, who then turned to the Namekian with a genuinely apologetic smile. "I am Barban, Butler of the Ghoun estate. This wretch behind me is Sensoa Ghoun. A pleasure."The butler said, trying to place an air of grace upon himself while he was clearly wanting to fix the terrible state his charge was in. "I hope you can forgive our intrusion."The Lupine butler then held out his hand toward the Namekian as he awaited a response. Barban the minion PL: 5,000 Sensoa PL: 16,000

On the flight over, Chime went in front to lead the way, but not too far. He tried to stay at an angle so he could watch the other two out of the corner of his eye, and kept stealing glances back at them. His energy sensing should have been able to give him a warning, if either of them tried anything, but he still wanted to be sure. The wolfen butler was polite, and his monstrous companion seemed to be calm now, but Chime didn't trust that to last. Luckily for him, the trip went without issue.
Almost immediately on landing, Barban bent into a deep bow, and forced his friend (apparently named Sensoa) to do the same. Chime could only blink at them for a couple of seconds as Barban apologized and tried to explain the situation. He was completely taken aback. He'd been expecting a battle when he flew over, or at least an argument, not...this. The little Guardian gathered himself after a moment and bowed back, "Don't worry about it, it's...well, no, it's not fine, but it's better now. And you helped, Mr. Barban, so thanks." He straightened up again, and walked a bit closer to where the other two sat, though he still stayed out of arm's reach, "Do you know what that fight was all about? Who were those guys, and what did they want with you two? Or with...him?"
His gaze fell on Sensoa again. Minutes ago, he'd been fighting off a whole group of warriors by himself and tearing up the forest, and now he was sitting peacefully on a rock, letting his butler fix his hair. Chime wasn't sure what to make of him. He wasn't even sure how intelligent he was, frankly, or if he could even hold a conversation. But he didn't want to just ask that out loud, he couldn't find a way to put it that wasn't rude. So, he decided to just keep addressing Barban for now, and if Sensoa wanted to (or even could) join in, he could.
"I'm Chime, by the way. Protecting the Earth is kind of my job now, and this forest is particularly ancient and sacred, so when I saw it getting destroyed like that, I had to do something." He told Barban, and closed the distance between them to give the lupine man a firm handshake.

Sensoa stared into the distance as the Namekian and Barban spoke, ignoring them for the most part. It wasn't until the Namekian asked why they were fighting, which lead the Demon to let out a growl of frustration. He had lost his prey over this, having spent so long trying to beat them only to be met with this situation. Barban was also curious, clearly so when he turned to Sensoa himself before popping the same question.
"Why were you lot fighting? I am guessing you picked a fight correct?"
Barban asked after the handshake, which had been done firmly but in a courtesy fashion. With that he had his attention focused on the other demon, Sensoa who didn't answer immediately. Remaining quiet for a short time before his tail slapped the ground in frustration.
"Hmph... They are rebels of the King who enslaved me. I was going to capture one of them and force them to tell me where their leader was."
Sensoa said before looking over his shoulder at Chime and Barban.
"I had them too, but now they are gone. I will need to track them down again."
Barban simply adjusted his shirt before looking at the Namekian and then Sensoa with a sigh.
"So you were fighting for the king? Or...?"
"No... I broke free only recently..."
Sensoa then looked to the Namekian, his eyes narrowing as he considered if he should be weary of this stranger. Though it didn't seem the Namekian was a rebel, as he had just shown up to enforce the forest law or whatever. He supposed it was just coincidence and didn't really care beyond that. Barban however placed a hand to his chin while he looked at Sensoa, clearly sizing him up.
"You... can't control your anger anymore can you?"
Those words struck deep to Sensoa who was surprised for a brief moment, turning his head in embarrassment and frustration. He hated that about Barban, always being able to see through him so easily. It was a quality that made Sensoa frustrated while dealing with him, but also that the Lupine butler was so blunt with his way of phrasing. Barban then turned to the Namekian before giving a little shrug. The demonic butler placed a hand upon his blade, his other going to his chin in thought while he thought of the situation. Sensoa still patting the ground in frustration, his arms crossed while he sulked of sorts. Barban then walked up behind Sensoa before placing a hand on the large demon's shoulder, giving a reassuring squeeze.
"You need to learn to control that anger boy. If not it will consume you..."
Barban was no saint, he wouldn't pretend to be. He was courteous and a gentlemen but he was a demon too, but of a more calm temperament. If Sensoa was a raging fire, Barban was a stream. While opposites, the older demon was the one who kept him in check when Sensoa had learned to use his rage as a fuel source. Barban looked over his shoulder at Chime, considering a moment on how he would approach the situation. After all, they were two demonic entities in a world where good was the norm. In their world violence and chaos ran the show.
"Well... I think I get why you lot were fighting but you must know by now this place is not for our kind to run rampant. You must learn to channel and focus that rage..."
With that, the Butler would turn to the Namekian once more, to size him up. His one good eye looking at the Namekian like he was judging not only his looks but personality. After a brief moment however, the Lupine demon would smile before holding out a hand.
"I think You are trustworthy Mr Chime. So I'll explain a bit better."
Barban placed his hand on his blade, not out of threat but just as a precaution to what he was about to reveal. He didn't know if Chime could tell it or not by their looks but if Barban could get help with this then he would do so.
"Sensoa and I... We are demons. Sensoa was taken from us from our world, and I came here some years after."
Barban's hold on his sword did not change, still firm but not out of malice.
"Sensoa here is... well a demon of anger. He didn't finish his training in our world despite his power being immense. Well... WAS... But with that, now that he is growing it seems his anger is left without a restraint."
Barban said but realized his explanation might confuse anyone who didn't understand demon's well.
"Sensoa has grown considerably weaker, from what I cannot say and doubt he will openly admit even to me ahaha."
Barban said with a chuckle while he patted Sensoa on the shoulder.
"So now that he has grown weaker, his body is trying to fill that void. His power is made possible by using rage and hatred to grow stronger... So with so much of a gape... well..."
Barban said looking at the demon next to him. This information would not hurt to explain, as even if it is understood it wouldn't be effected by another knowing the reason. He was weak, even a blind fool could see it and Barban assumed Chime could see it as well. Sensoa was not pleased to have his powers talked about in such a manner though, his aura picking up in anger.
"Barban... You are talking out of place."
Though the larger demon was more powerful, Barban did not budge. His good eye fixed on the other with just a dangerous glare. The two sitting in silence as the tension built between the two. Eventually however, the aura between the two would die off as Barban looked at Chime once more, a casual smile on his face.
"So the reason I am telling you this good sir is... well I need someone who can teach mediation tactics to my charge here. While I have taught him combat and how to fight... I cannot teach him something I do not know myself. Do you perhaps know someone who can teach him how to focus? Or perhaps a quiet place where we will not be disturbed while he calms down."
While Barban spoke, he looked to the other demon who was clearly not pleased by the idea. He didn't speak up however, knowing it was true. He could not argue the logic of his old friend, and even if he wanted to be stubborn if this kept up... He would ultimately kill himself with his own anger. He might be a demon of anger but it was a told edge sword, power was gained but if to much strain was placed on his body with growth then he would just damage his body. To much damage and well... Barban looked at Chime once more, giving a small shrug. He didn't want to sound unreasonable but the deal that a demon of anger out in the world was a danger to anyone innocent. But if he was supervised while he attempted to learn, then he could be stopped if he was out of control. Barban thought of it as a win win situation if Chime agreed, but if not then he would find another solution.

Sensoa apparently could talk, and wasn't just some mindless beast. That was good, it would make figuring all this out much easier. He stood back quietly and listened for a minute as the other two worked out what had happened, between themselves. From what Chime could understand, Sensoa had been captured and enslaved by a king of some kind. The men he'd been fighting in the forest had been...the king's men? Or men that were against the king? But if that were true, why was Sensoa fighting them, wouldn't they be on the same side? That part confused the Namekian a bit, but what he did understand was that Sensoa was angry. Which, honestly, he could sympathize with. He imagined if he'd been enslaved for who knows how long, he'd come out of it pretty angry, too. However, what Barban revealed to him next threw all the thoughts of slaves and kings and rebels out of his head.
"You're DEMONS?!" Chime shouted, and took a few quick steps back. He hadn't meant to raise his voice, but he was just so shocked! He'd heard tales of demons, of course, but he'd never imagined he'd actually meet any. They were evil creatures, bent on sowing destruction and chaos and...Sensoa seemed to tick all the boxes. Chime felt a bit silly for not realizing it sooner. He began to pace, and ran a hand over his bald head as he tried to calm himself again.
"Sorry, uh. I've just never met any demons before. So, let me get this right...you're here," he pointed to Sensoa, "Because you were enslaved by some king. But you're free now. And you," he motioned to Barban next, "You came looking for him. If you don't mind me asking, now that you've found each other, what's stopping you from...going home?" He winced at his own words. He was trying to tell a pair of demons 'go away' in the politest terms possible. If this was Sensoa's weakened state, he'd hate to see him at full power.
"But, if you really can't leave..." he'd continue, still pacing, "You'll need to learn to live here without blowing things up. Meditation could help with the, uh. Anger issues. I meditate pretty regularly myself, actually, though not for that reason. But that seems like a temporary solution to me. Like a bandage. You said you got your power from your anger, right? If you could tap into a safer, more stable power source, that'd probably be better!"

Sensoa was ready to stand up when the Namekian shouted, but it quickly died down as Chime got calmed down. Barban was still holding his hilt to make sure nothing happened. Sensoa winced when he pointed to him before reminding him of his failure and being captured. He hated that being brought up, despised it immensely to the point it nearly sent him into frenzy. He despised that damn world so much, the anxiety of knowing it existed driving him mad. It was then that the nail to his pride and honor was hit, causing Barban to look at Sensoa in concern. Sensoa growled in frustration, turning his head away so his shame could not be seen. He didn't want to admit he had been banished, that he was no longer considered worthy of his clans name. Barban wanted to come to his rescue, but knew better than to coddle the large demon. After a brief pause and the Namekian finishing his questions along with his answers, Sensoa would sigh heavily.
"I am banished... I cannot return. The doors to the demon realm, to the place of my home... are forever shut."
For the first time in a great many years, there was a hint of sadness in Sensoa's voice. Genuine sadness over the fact he would never see those he had grown use to seeing. His world was full of violence, chaos and betrayal yet it was the most comforting thing to him. He knew who would betray him, who would want to hurt him and the evil nature of his world was what he wished he could go back to. He was by no means a martyr here, he was a demon after all. Yet for once in a long time, Sensoa felt the full weight of those words on his shoulders.
"As am I... I left the demon realm and was banished for abandoning my post. There is another out there but she will probably be along soon enough."
Barban said looking to Chime, a faint smile on his face.
"We are demons, not the kindest people, I understand that. I would not ask for aid if I didn't feel it was necessary. Its a horrible position to be put into on your part and I am sorry to thrust this into your lap."
Barban said as he placed a hand on Sensoa's shoulder, trying to reassure the large demon. Sensoa said nothing, but his over all posture was that of someone in deep troubling thought. However he then spoke up after a small pause, looking at Chime over his shoulder.
"My anger is all that I am. Its like... trying to take air out of the very sky and having a human adapt to that. This state I am in..."
Sensoa looked at his hand, his fingers curling into a fist. He didn't want to go any further into explaining, but if he didn't then he might not earn Chime's trust in this. A frustrated growl escaping his throat as his tail slapped the ground causing the rocks to erupt from it, scattering about in a shower of stone.
"When I was captured by mages, they put chains on me that prevented my anger from fueling my body. I... If I cannot feel anger and use it to... well grow stronger. I will die."
It was a particularly revealing secret, like telling someone how to kill you. He only told Chime because Barban was here, otherwise Sensoa was certain he would just rather kill the Namekian than ever make such a revealing testament.
"I... am like this because I could not feel anger and have it fuel my soul. I cannot explain it."
Sensoa then folded his arms before looking away again, his back to Chime. He wished Barban wasn't here, and almost didn't want the other demon to be present. If he wasn't so happy to see his long time friend and mentor he would be gone by now. Barban understood this and took over in explaining. Knowing anymore would be running salt in a wound still open.
"erm... So basically Mr Chime... We cannot go home, nor can we simply just 'change' Sensoa's natural tendencies. We are not born of 'good' things as you'd expect. Honestly, if I was not desperate to stop this inner turmoil within Sensoa I'd have left by now along with my Charge. Yet..."
Barban again bowed politely, his face toward the ground while his back was straight.
"I humbly beg you. Please teach Sensoa how to calm down. If not then the anger will ultimately break his body down and kill him. I would need to look somewhere else to find a teacher for him, and I do not know how long we have till something sets him off. If he gets to angry innocent people will die and he will too."
Barban didn't care if innocent people died, he was a demon after all. He only cared about Sensoa's well being, its why he was here and if Sensoa were to come to harm... Barban dared not think on such a thing. Sensoa grumbled as he shifted his weight upon the rock, feeling just how vulnerable he felt here. They were basically begging a damn stranger to teach him how to calm down like pathetic dogs. He couldn't stand the thought, it completely went against everything Sensoa valued and turned his stomach. He truly wished he had not come to this thrice damned forest, at this point dying could be a god sent for him. He began wondering if this was the point where a demon truly hits rock bottom, when they are forced to ask for help from a good person. Truly they were desperate if that was the case.

Chime tensed as Sensoa turned away, growled, and thrashed his tail. He watched with wide, fearful eyes, waiting for the demon to make an aggressive move. Was this it? Had he said too much? Would he have to fight two on one? But then Barban put his hand on Sensoa's shoulder, and the moment passed. Chime let out the breath he'd been holding, and went to sit down on a nearby stone, a few feet from them, truly turning his back on them for the first time since they'd met. He sat there with his legs dangling off the edge while he processed what they were telling him.
So, they were stuck here. Not unlike Chime himself, really, though their situation sounded much worse. If they were going to stay here, on Earth, then Chime had to do something. He was the Guardian, and that meant protecting the planet and everyone on it. If he knew of a pair of demons, one of whom had already proven himself dangerous, and just let them roam free without doing anything, he'd be a pretty poor excuse for a protector. They seemed genuine in what they were asking of him. Barban was too forthright to by lying, in Chime's opinion, and Sensoa too upset. If this was an act, it was a very good one.
There was a long silence as Chime mulled this all over, and then finally he spoke, "I can sympathise with the whole not going home thing, if that helps at all. I can go visit, sure, but I can't ever live there for long again. I'm stuck here, too. Though...that was my choice, so I guess it's...not the same at all. Um." He cleared his throat awkwardly before starting again.
"The first thing you should do is find somewhere to live, if you haven't already. Somewhere away from people. I know there's plenty of places up north without towns and things, so long as you don't mind the cold," He eyed up Barban's fur and Sensoa's mane of hair briefly. Keeping warm shouldn't be a problem for either of them, right? "As for controlling your anger, I might be able to help you with that. Sit back down. ...Er, please."
"You say anger is like air for you. That's kind of sad, if you don't mind me saying so. But you can still have too much of a good thing. I need water to live, but if you stuck me in a lake, I'd still drown. So you need to...not drown in your anger?" Chime sounded a little unsure. He was making up the metaphor as he went along, really. He'd never taught anyone how to meditate before, so he was only trying to remember what the Sages had taught him. His own problem had been restlessness, not anger, so he'd have to adapt the ideas as best he could, "You need a focus point. Like an anchor. I tend to use my beads," he pat the orange necklace that was hung from his sash, "But you can use whatever you want. Breathing is usually the easiest. If, uh...if you breath. Do demons breathe?"
That was a stupid question. The 'anger is air' thing was a metaphor, of course demons breathed. He shook his head at himself, "Anyway, just...focus on your breathing. Don't force it, you'll hyperventilate. Just breath like normal, and be mindful. Don't bother thinking of anything else, only focus on that." Chime wasn't sure that was an adequate explanation, but he sat perched on his rock, watching Sensoa intently to see what he'd do.

Sensoa listened to the Namekian speak, talking of potential places they could live and seeming to just accept they were demons. The first real kindness in years, making the Demon feel suspicious of Chime. He could tell the namekian was genuinely trying to be nice but it just went against everything he had been raised up with and the last twenty years of his life. The large demon snorting in response to the words of Chime, rotating on his rock so he was facing the soon to be teacher while he got comfortable in his spot. Though Chime was clearly trying to teach Sensoa, he seemed unsure of himself. That made three considering the demons were unsure if they should really be doing this. Sensoa looked down at his hands, trying to imagine what he could use to focus on. Breathing could work... yes he supposed trying to focus there would be a good start. Sensoa placed his hands on his knees, his eyes closing as he tried to focus on his breathing deep inside. A long drawn out sigh of breath escaping his mouth, his chest deflating before refilling with the air he needed. Slowly the demon's breathing began to slow but kept at a regular pace. That was the easy part, now the hard part was to clear his mind. He had something to think about on the regular basis which meant he had to just clear that out. While Sensoa was attempting to meditate, Barban had taken notice of another presence with his nose. He could smell a familiar smell and a smile crossed his lupine face. She was on her way here, which was a good thing as he didn't want to have to go looking for her. Barban took a few steps back before heading toward the forest slightly, not very far away but a simple stone's toss away. There he stood with his one arm resting upon his sword while the other rested at his side. Another person emerging from the forest almost immediately. The new one was a small figure, probably about to any of their shins. She was tiny in comparison to most people, her cat eyes locking onto barban with a smile. She wore a wizard style hat, robes concealing her body from view. Her cat legs ending in paws just as tiny as one might expect of someone her stature. Upon her back was a box like shaped backpack, the many bottles and books on the side telling what she carried. Her twin tails waving happily as he ran up to Barban and jumping into his arms. "I thought you had ditched me! Did you find him?"The little cat lady asked, to which Barban simply smiled before turning so she could see the large demon sitting upon the rock nearby. Her eyes widening in surprise but soon filling with tears as she looked upon her lord in what must have been years. She was about to go running to him but Barban held her tight which prompted a curious look from the little cat woman. He simply held a finger to his lips to signal for her to be quiet. "Young master is learning to meditate. We must not disturb him Hyuki."The Lupine butler explained and Hyuki looked to Sensoa before looking back to Barban curiously. It was evident she had missed a lot, but decided to simply rest in the butler's arms. Her little legs kicking patiently while she watched Sensoa meditate and looking to the namekian in turn. She didn't know what was going on but trusted Barban to make the right choice. So her reunion would have to wait till he was finished with his meditation. Meanwhile, Sensoa was struggling to not relive his recent past. His thoughts constantly returning to the fights he had been experiencing the last few weeks. His anger was growing within him like a fire out of control, he remembered all the pain caused by the king and how it made him despise their kind even more. It was only natural to drift to such thoughts when a calm mind took hold of someone such as himself. However, despite it growing out of control it was evident it was working. Sensoa's aura picking up slowly, but not in violent waves. It was slowly waving about his person in smoky trails, like a fire about to start up at any moment. Barban took notice of this, well aware of the signs and immediately set Hyuki down. The butler's brow focused in concern while he adjusted his gloves in a calm manner. He knew what was about to happen next and was preparing for it. Sensoa's body twitched as if someone was having a bad dream, yet the demon was clearly awake. His muscles telling of how much he wished to move. Rocks beginning to pick up about his person while he sat silently. A fine green line of ki forming along the horizon of his frame, clearly visible even if you walked to any side of him. While he sat silently, the runes upon his chest flaring to life, his shoulder mouth's opening to emit steam. It was clear he was growing angrier by the second, getting more and more furious with each passing moment. His power had increased too, becoming much more apparent with each passing moment. Soon the demon had added a few thousand to his number before he let lose a roar of anger. His ki picking up violently as he stood up in a furious frenzy. His arm swinging wildly to strike at an unseen foe. While Sensoa had the raw power, and speed, even as Sensoa swung at the Lupine butler who was nearby it missed. The butler showing surprising skill to read his master's movement and swaying between the strike to put a single finger on the base of Sensoa's neck. A small light shining for a brief moment on contact before Sensoa stopped moving completely. With that the Lupine caught the demon as he slumped forward, his breathing ragged and harsh while he tried to regain it. Barban had a look of concern upon his face but said nothing as he sat the demon down upon the dirt, the rock Sensoa had been sitting on having been destroyed in the process. "Apologies Mr Chime, we will have him fixed up soon for further lessons. He is a hardy fellow, shouldn't take long."Sensoa slumped slightly but it was evident he was still conscious while he gripped his head. His head throbbed from the recent blow he took from Barban but it was clear it didn't cause any lasting damage. Sensoa had been always sensitive around the next to those who knew where to strike, Barban having cultivated such a weakness just for this situation. How do you stop someone from going into a hulking rage when they are much stronger than you are? Barban was no fool, so having seen such a thing he was now glad he had planted such a weakness in Sensoa. As the demon got his view back, he looked at Chime before sighing heavily, a bit of steam emitting from his mouth. He had a long ways to go, but it was evident that it had worked. His power had grown, that much was evident to even Sensoa yet he was still unable to control his anger. This process would take many many tries to get right. It was then he noticed the little cat woman rummaging through her bag. He was surprised to see Hyuki there, the little cat woman humming to herself while she worked away with some bottles. It was just some minor medicines, nothing so potent as to do much good against the injured but enough to help Sensoa with his headache. She was always a good apothecary for the clan, but now she was here. Soon Hyuki would run over to Sensoa before handing him a bottle of purple liquid. The demon taking it before drinking it down with a "ahh" when finished. Hyuki then turned to Chime before giving him a thumbs up and scurrying back to her bag. Sensoa looking at her go but knowing he would get to talk to her later on. So the demon turned to Chime once more and groaned a little. He was embarrassed by that display of weakness. "Err... Sorry Chime... I still have a ways to go it seems."Sensoa's voice gave no small hint of disappointment in himself, his head turning away ashamed. He just hoped Chime didn't see him as a failure and deciding to abandon teaching someone like himself. Hyuki PL: 16,000 -> 20,000 Briefly went to 80,000

As Sensoa steadied his breathing, Chime sat on his own rock and observed. He wasn't sure his instruction had been any good, but all he could do was watch and try to nudge him in the right direction if he went astray. While they sat, Barban seemed to notice something off in the woods, and went to investigate. Chime could sense it, too, another presence approaching the three of them. He briefly considered following him, but decided to let him go. Barban seemed like a sensible man...wolf...demon person, and Chime trusted that he wouldn't kill some poor lumberjack in the woods for stumbling upon them, or whoever was out there.
The Namekian's attention was quickly drawn back to the demon immediately in front of him. His antenna twitched at the power he felt coming off Sensoa. That couldn't have been correct, could it...? Then he saw, yes, it was very correct, as the demon's body began to smoke and glow with barely-contained energy. This wasn't the relaxing meditation Chime had been picturing. When Sensoa began to twitch and thrash about, Chime leapt to his feet and held his hands out, though he didn't dare approach, "H-hey, Sensoa! It's okay! There's nothing to fight, you can calm down!" he called out, but his voice sounded wavering and uncertain, not the solid, reassuring tone he'd been going for.
Then Sensoa roared, and Chime flailed his arms in front of him as he fell over backwards, tripping over his rock, in fear. Almost before he could blink, Barban was there (when had he come back?) and took his charge down with one strike. Not even a strike, a simple touch to the neck. The little Kami scrambled back to his feet to try and look presentable, and scanned the area to take stock of any damage Sensoa caused in his very brief rampage. Thankfully, the only casualty was the rock. He let out a sigh of relief, and approached the pair of demons.
...Or trio of demons. Assuming this little feline in the big hat was one also. She scurried around, giving Sensoa a potion of some kind, and Chime just watched her kind of confused for a few seconds. Was this who Barban had gone to meet in the forest? Was she a Ghoun too? How many were there? But there would be time for a proper introduction later. For the moment, Chime just gave her a polite wave, then turned back to the other two.
"...Alright, so. That's sort of the opposite of what's supposed to happen. You're meant to be calm, not work yourself up into a panic attack. I don't know exactly what was going through your head, but you went to a bad place there, right?" He gave Sensoa a sympathetic look. The larger demon clearly had some issues to work through, and Chime wasn't sure how to help him, or even if he was the one that should be helping him. He didn't scrutinize him for too long, though, and instead shifted his attention to Barban.
"What did you do just now? That's what you did earlier too, wasn't it? Some sort of disabling technique?" Chime pressed his fingers to his own neck, to indicate what he meant, "Does that only work on him? Or can anyone do it? ...Can you show me how?"

Sensoa crossed his legs with his hands on his knees while he looked at Chime who said that was the opposite of what was suppose to happen. Sensoa looked down at the ground while he tried to drive the bad memories away, but it was not something he could just get rid of. Twenty years of humiliation and torment of those who had captured him still fresh in his mind. It had only been a week at most... no two weeks at the very least since his freedom. So when Chime asked Barban what he had done, the Lupine demon would give a solemn look. He trusted Chime but the weakness of Sensoa was not something he wanted to give up freely. If the namekian earned their trust he would consider it, yet Barban could not help but still feel bad for telling someone like Chime no. Barban could tell he was a good hearted fellow, yet he just could not bring himself to tell such a strong secret... not yet at least.
"I'm sorry Mr Chime... It is only a technique for my Lord Sensoa..."
The Lupine demon would give a long sigh as Hyuki climbed up his shoulder, the butler's gaze staring at the large demon upon the ground. He knew this was not easy for Sensoa, it was going to be a long and hard road for the demon to master his anger. Yet he knew his master could do just that, master that which was a curse and a blessing. Sensoa always had been such a difficult case but he supposed that was why the demon was so enduring to Barban. No one else wanted to handle such a difficult case, meaning Barban was the only mentor that would ever teach such a violent individual. A small smile of pride upon the Lupine butler's face showing if only for a few moments before he cleared his throat.
"Its a technique I use to keep him in check, I had to make a weakness for him. When your student is leagues above you in power, you have no choice. Sensoa was quite the monster himself before he turned into this shriveled mess haha...! It doesn't become a disadvantage unless the person knows the technique. And only two people know it. Me... and Sensoa's father."
The Lupine butler's face turned grim at the memory of Sensoa's father, the monster among monsters. Sensoa was but a drop in the bucket even at his full potential compared to such a thing. If he had not taught the technique to the High Lord who knows what would have happened to them both.
"I may teach it to you someday Mr Chime. If I see that you are truly on our side. I cannot risk you telling everyone such a thing and ultimately... it could kill my student."
Barban's eyes then traveled to Chime, a clear sign he would not budge on the matter. Sensoa on the other hand would look over his shoulder at his mentor, feeling glad he could trust his mentor to keep such a secret tight lipped. He could only shiver at the thought of everyone being able to simply knock him out if they knew the secret. Sensoa then turned his gaze to Chime as well before nodding slowly.
"So... That wasn't suppose to happen... How do you not think of anything? I don't understand."
Sensoa was a thinker, he always had something on his mind. Its how his anger or anyone's anger worked that way. If he was going to be angry, he needed to have a reason and that was usually brought on by a thought process. It was then that Barban remembered the tiny cat while Sensoa asked his question. His hand going up to point at her and signal for her to introduce herself. Hyuki was startled at first, unsure what he meant until a few gestures later. With that she would cut in with a small wave of her paws.
"Oh... Uh Names Hyuki. I am from the Ghoun estate... I uh... make recipes and stuff."
Barban would place a hand to his forehead at her introduction and shake it slowly.
"She was the apothecary of our home. She was banished because of me. We are married."
The Lupine butler sighed at he looked at the cat woman on his shoulder.
"Unfortunately she doesn't seem to know how to introduce herself properly yet-"
"Look I make shite ok? I don't introduce it to the costumers. So you can shove it-"
"Hyuki please, not in front of Mr Chime!"
"Oh yea I'll be that gal in a-"
Soon their little fight would turn into an argument fitting of an elderly couple, both quarreling to each other while Sensoa could only place a hand on his head in shame. A groan escaping his throat while he felt like he was surrounded by fools.

Barban told him he couldn't teach him the technique, at least not yet, and Chime nodded easily, "That's fine. I kind of figured it would be a big secret thing. Besides, I bet I can figure it out myself." He flashed a grin, revealing his pointy Namekian fangs. He was mostly joking about that last part, and seemed good natured about it, but there was also a confidence to him. He really did think he could figure it out, if given enough time, but wasn't planning on devoting his days to it. There were more important things to worry about.
Chime was about to explain more about meditation when that little potion-bearing cat caught his attention again. Hyuki was apparently her name, and the Namekian gave her a warm smile as he bent down to shake her hand, "Nice to meet you, Hyuki! My Name's Chime." She was an awfully cute little girl, despite being a demon, and probably very smart too, since she was brewing potions at such a young age. ...Then Barban explained their relationship, and his expression completely shifted.
"You're married?!" He cried out. He'd thought Hyuki was a kid, not a full-grown woman with a husband. It quickly became obvious that, no, this was not a joke, as the two started bantering back and forth in the way that only old married couples could. Chime sighed, and let them go off, while he scooted over to Sensoa's side to speak in a hushed voice.
"So...don't bite my hand off for saying this, but you've got a lot of stuff on your mind, right? Bad stuff? I'm not asking you to tell me more about it. Meditation can help, but only so much. You need to clear your mind, but in a natural way, not just squashing stuff down and ignoring it, you know? That's how you hurt yourself. So keep trying the meditation, but it seems like you should talk to someone, too. Let everything out. ...Not necessarily with me." He added hastily. He wanted to help, yes, but he wasn't about to be the volunteer therapist for a demon he just met, "But someone. Maybe him? You're friends, right?" He nodded over to where Barban was still arguing with Hyuki.

Sensoa looked to Chime as he was completely shocked by the fact the two servants were married, which he gave a chuckle too. Sensoa didn't have friends, but he could feel that if Chime was as genuine as he seemed, then he might just make one here. Chime then turned his attention to Sensoa before talking in length about what had happened, about how something was bothering him. Sensoa turned his head to the side a bit, feeling a bit shamed. His anger boiled up from the mere thought of the kingdom, its disgusting ways having driven him to the breaking point. Slowly the demon would sigh, looking toward the ground in a feeling of vulnerability and sadness. Barban and Hyuki ending their argument upon seeing Sensoa shake slightly. At first Barban was concerned, thinking he was about to lash out again but the demon just shook. No ki unleashed as Sensoa let this moment of feeling pathetic and self loathing run through him in full course. He had done everything in his power to stop that sensation, blaming others, hurting and being hurt. He had never truly let it run its full course, and now at his more vulnerable moment when he felt like no one here would judge him... Sensoa could only chuckle away at the pain and sadness. "Ahh.... How pitiful of me. For 20 years I was tormented and all I can do is laugh. Torture... pain... humilation... degradation..."Sensoa looked at his hand, looking for an answer that wasn't there. He was a killing machine, born and raised to fight ever lasting and eternal. He was a pure blooded demon, he should not feel like this. He shouldn't let some simple wounds from mortals slow him down. Yet they did and he continued to chuckle at the pain. "I have spent the last 20 years in pain... Yet all I can do is laugh. Pitiful."The large demon then stood up, a tightness in his chest, a burning sensation in his heart. Unlike the usual anger, he could feel it burn much deeper. This was a truly terrible sensation that made him feel so much more in tune with who he was. He never had to work for his power, it had always been there. Now he was going to have to crawl like a dog to get his power back? That was perfect, a prime example of how much better he was then his predecessors. Barban held out a concerned hand, not sure how to take this sudden sensation he was getting from Sensoa. He was unsure if his charge had gone mad or was about to explode. To which Sensoa answered with a bellowing laugh that could only be described as full of pain and happiness? It was a mixture of things that the Lupine butler couldn't tell where it began or ended. The Sensoa turned to Chime with a large grin on his face. "You are correct... But I disagree on letting it out. No... I will hold it inside and use it to make me stronger."Sensoa's aura then picked up, making Barban snatch Hyuki up in his arms before he was in the distance within a flash. The Lupine demon getting about twenty feet in the distance before looking back to Sensoa confused. Sensoa's aura picking up more violent then ever before, but in a controlled manner. His smile forming even on his shoulders, the eyes glowing brightly as he looked to Chime. "Thank you. I got my answer there. I have been ignoring it for far to long."Soon the area around Sensoa was warped by his aura, green energy flaring as wind began to emit from the energy he was releasing. His ki having risen once more, now that he wasn't holding back his own power. Whatever issues Sensoa was holding onto, he wasn't going to simply let it go to waste. A chuckle emitting from Sensoa as he unlocked his seals to test his power. Soon his ki was flaring like a bonfire, a green flame of ki rising up to consume everything. "Yes... I was ignoring it. I was letting it boil without substance. I should have embraced it, loathed it and wanted to grow from it!'Sensoa's laughter soon turning into a bellowing roar, his ki sending out shockwaves of kiai, though doing little more than rushing wind. He had some measure of control right now, not on a rampage at the very least yet Barban could see he was getting drunk from the sensation, running to wild with it. "Sensoa calm down. You are doing to-"It was then an audible crack could be heard, Sensoa's right arm suddenly splattering blood across the ground. Immediately Sensoa would stop roaring before looking at his right arm, the torn flash with bone visible in it. It wasn't as painful as it looked, but it was certainly not a pleasant feeling. Sensoa's aura died down immediately as his power returned to normal once more. However he looked far more Serious than he had ever before. "ahh... So thats it. That explains it. My body cannot keep up..."Sensoa then gave another chuckle, but this one was far more pleasant, that is until his eyes went wide and he fell to his knees then onto his back. Barban rushing to his side immediately, placing his lupine ear to Sensoa's chest to check for Heart beats. He was alive, but the demon had passed out from over exerting himself. His body wasn't able to keep up with how much he was attempting to force his power out. Barban let out a sigh of relief before looking to Hyuki and the two shared a nod of relief that he wasn't dead.
