Alto was definitely not the most social of people in any right, a more shy and withdrawn Namekian. He tended to prefer quiet locations, but for some reason today. He found himself in one of those most populated parts of Namek. Perhaps it was the sheer feeling of having nothing to do that drew him to the village. But regardless of his innate dispositions, the Namekian would go and walk about. He felt overwhelmed at times, getting lost in all of the visual information. People old and young moving back and forth as they made quick trade and went about with their day like nothing was. The Namekian would eventually remember what he came for. Making way towards the marketplace before stopping dead in his tracks, listening in on a conversation that had some information that captured his interest. Alto would hone in on the discussion, using his enhanced hearing to his advantage.
An elderly Namekian would put a shoulder around his son, leaning towards the boy to speak to him more clearly. "Y'hear about them, World Trade Fleet and Saiyan Kingdom people?" The son would reply back to him, curious about the prospect. Moving excitedly on the spot.
"Don't trust em! They ain't any good, y'here? All they do is come on OUR LAND! And start wars. Causin' a ruckus and the like." The father sighed, shaking his head in disapproval.
"Well Pa? What are we gonna do about that. We gotta do somethin! Let's fight!" The boy was visibly interested in what his father had to say.
"Don't worry boy, y'see. We'll fight soon. We got hope, a new group's gonna change all a that y'see? Just you wait son-..." The conversation would go on for longer but Alto would lose interest. Moving on and going off into the capital's main marketplace, though the previous words of the old man left him with a visible state of confusion. Thinking things over in his mind, as the prospects of a new group seemed to leave him feeling a certain kind of way.
"A new faction? I wonder if they mean..." Alto let the thought just remain so, making way for the market place. Every face was new, he didn't know who or what to expect.
