Bloom’s PL: 20,000 | 60,000
Well. She was dead.
Bloom had poked her head out of the space pod to see if the blutz thing had been the monkey switch. The sight that greeted her was a huge angry monkey flying toward her face. This. Was. Going. To end. Poorly. By some stroke of luck, Kon started changing back in mid air, collapsing onto the stage as Bloom pulled herself out of the pod. She marched over to Kon’s prone form and squatted down beside her. After a moment or two, Kon woke up, mumbling her name and something about a blutz generator. Bloom grit her teeth as Kon thanked God. For what? Bloom had no idea. It seemed like Kon had wanted this.
“What… The… Fuck…”
Bloom shot to her feet, snatching the glasses that she had tucked away in her pocket. She tossed them down at her feet and stepped on them. They made a satisfying crack under her boot. The look on Bloom’s face was one of pure rage. Steam blasted out of her pores in outrage.
“You tried to kill me…! What was that…?!? I thought we were friends...you…. idiot…! I thought you wanted to fight me…! I wanted to fight you, Kon…You… Not some angry monkey who was out for blood…”
Bloom stomped down on the glasses again as Polbo walked out on stage, announcing the winner. It was Bloom. Winner by default. Winner by disqualification. Winner because she hadn’t died when her so called friend had tried to kill her. Bloom jabbed a finger at Kon angrily.
“You can’t just say sorry I’m going to kill you now…! You can’t say thank God my attempted murder didn’t pan out…!”
As cheers erupted from the stands, Bloom snapped out of her tirade to look up at them all. A pink orb formed in one hand out of sheer frustration. They needed to shut up! They all needed to! Dammit! Bloom send the orb flying into the air where it exploded in a flash of pink. Some of the crowd took this as a celebratory gesture, but it was all Bloom could do not to throw it at Kon. Or them. She needed some time. Away. Now. Blasting off from the stage in a sudden gust of wind, Bloom disappeared into the sky. Technically victorious. Actually defeated.
