It was time for the big boys to have their shot! Polbo marched out onto the battlefield and gave the crowd a wave, who were no doubt bursting with excitement to see the powerful fighters have their chance to shine. The audience roared with cheers and applause in anticipation, and Polbo wasn't going to be one to keep them waiting for much longer. "I hope you're all as looking forward to see these coming matches as I am!" the pink haired woman said into the microphone, "Now, let's see who we've got up against each other for round one, shall we?" The Earthling turned and gestured proudly towards the jumbotron, and, shortly after, the two contenders' faces and names were splayed across the oversized screen.
"We've got the warrior Namekian who punches first and asks questions later: Mollusc!" Polbo shouted into the microphone over the roaring crowd, "And he'll be going up against the true white knight, the android with a blade: Saizomaru!" The Earthling made her way across the stadium over to the much safer position off to the side, and said, "Now, let's kick things off! Good luck, you two: Let's have a good, clean, exciting fight!"

Mollusc didn't understand how he got dragged into all these toury. Maybe it got his mind off all the things he did have to focus on. With trying to rally people to fight the saiyans maybe this would be the place to find them too. He didn't know and there was only one way to find out. He decided to enter after he saw a last-minute sentence for the higher end part. Since he was too strong or something. He thought it was toury to find the strongest, not the strongest of one group and strongest of another. Yet, it didn't matter he'd show his strength people may want to hear his message. Sometimes it seemed that actions could speak louder than words.
He'd look around the small ring that he was going to be fighting his foe in. The announcer lady called out that he'd be fighting someone named Saizomaru. It seemed like an odd name but he didn't question it. He knew a lot of people with odd names. Like Ramen, he still didn't understand why she was named after a noodle. Was their some joke behind it that he failed to grasp. Or were the people of earth just bad names? He didn't know and honestly whatever someone was named should not even matter. It mattered what they did with what they had. Mollusc turned to look on and to wait for his foe to arrive to start this toury as quickly as possible.

Saizomaru PL: 80,000 (Base)
It had been some time since Saizomaru had taken part in any sort of tournament. The last one left a sour taste in his mouth. Not only did he find himself having to fight a small girl, but it only rubbed salt in the wound of his broken heart when he found out that Central City was attacked while he was out playing martial artist.
He hoped that this would be different. He hoped he could fully enjoy this one.
The android was the second to be introduced. He appreciated it. It gave him those extra few moments to scan and size up his opponent—a green alien humanoid known as 'Namekians'. He had never met one before, but he had some knowledge on their strength. He didn't expect this fight to go over easy.
Saizomaru made his way towards the ring as he was called out by the announcer. His heavy boots tapped lightly, almost silently, against the paving stones that lead towards the ring. Quickly and gracefully he hopped up onto the edge of the stage. After taking a few steps forwards he stopped in his tracks, gazing forward at his opponent.
His half-flesh, half-synthetic lips turned into a small smile. "So I guess you're my opponent," he said, pointing out the obvious but giving a final confirmation. His hand balled into a fist, then pressed into the palm of the other. Audible pops from his artificial muscles came from his knuckles as he cracked them. "This should be good. Let's have a nice fight…"
He held a hand out, fingers pointed towards the namekian, palm up. He curled them inwards once, then twice. He gestured for this warrior to make the first attack. "Show me what ya got."

Mollusc looked over at Saizomaru as he arrived to fight. He was worried he'd now show up. Still, he was here and there was no use in complaining about it. He gave the android a hard look as he arrived. He watched the man get into stance but not talk. He seemed to want him to strike first. If he thought that was a good idea. He'd sigh as his body flexed. He knew he was going to have to power up. This whole toury had the strongest of the strong so he was not going to hold back to start. Mollusc grew to three times his normal size. He'd look down at Saizomaru and brought one leg over and attempted to smash it right into Saizomaru frame and send him flying back. "Hopefully you enjoy. You won't so easily defeat me." Mollusc told Saizomaru as he brought the leg down.

Saizomaru PL: 240,000 (Overdrive Active)
The namekian was quite stern. Saizomaru had expected to have some sort of good sportsmanship between the two, though perhaps namekians had no such concept. In any case, Saizomaru waited to see what his opponent would bring to the ring.
It came as a surprise to him when he saw that this already tall green man ended up becoming a few multiples taller than normal. He couldn't help but smirk. A larger target was an easier one to hit, as well as a slower one. He was aware of how strong Mollusc had become though. He had to take this a little bit seriously. But only a little bit.
"Oh, how cute, he became a little bigg—OH SHIT!"
No. The namekian wasn't any slower than before. He had already gotten close to Saizomaru and went for an axe kick right onto the android. This wasn't how Saizomaru had planned it.
Quickly two metal arms brought themselves up, shielding the android's own body from what could only be assumed to be a devastating attack. Sure enough it was, forcing Saizomaru to hunker down onto one knee from the force of the kick alone. His feet had sunk into the arena ground by several inches, cracking and shattering the tiles and stone beneath.
Guess I have to match this.
Quickly the android's appearance changed. His platinum-gold armor shifted into a dark black, his hair changing to a similar charcoal-grey. If he was going to stand much of a chance in this fight, then he would have to try and maintain this form for as long as he could.
"A'ight, big man," he spoke with a hint of confidence, "I think we'll both get a little more serious, yeah?"
Saizomaru dashed forward, letting the namekian's leg come down where he just was, and made his way past his opponent from between his legs. Spinning on one foot, he aimed to kick out Mollusc's legs from underneath him, bringing him to his knees if not just leaving him on his back.
Should it succeed, he would drive a metal fist into the back of his head if he was brought to kneel, or just drive it into his face if he was knocked prone on his back.

He got him with the first attack. Seemed he had held back or this was all his power. He was about to find out as the man said he was getting serious now. Hopefully, that was true or he might be bored in this fight. He was there to fight, not completely overwhelm his foes. Finally, he took a look at his form seemed to have changed. Guess he was really was not joking. He really powered up. He'd watch Saizomaru dash forward. He even tried to between his legs to hit him in the back. He'd turn his head As his leg was punched out from under him. His foe really had a punch. He'd hit a knee as the man seemed to be heading to hit him in the head. Then he felt the impact of a blow to the back of the head as he fell on his face into the arena floor.
Mollusc sat there for a bit, feeling the rust. If had not fought in a while. Guess he had to take this seriously. He'd get up spitting some blood away. "That it?" He'd ask Saizomaru. "Not that I ain't impressed. I just don't want to be suprised anymore. Cause trust me in a fist fight. I ain't going to be losing." Mollusc smirked as sparks of energy began to escape his body. This next time was going to be strong. Hopefully, his foe could take it. He'd charge forward at Saizomaru sending a barrage of punches down at him trying to knock him into the ground agian though this time he had a feeling it was going to be a lot harder considering the power up Saizomaru had done.

Saizomaru PL: 240,000 (Overdrive Active)
As much as the Namekian had a considerable amount of strength and defense, it seemed as though his overly large frame was becoming a form of hindrance for him. If not for perhaps a lack of agility, then definitely for the fact that the smaller Saizomaru could outmanoeuvre him in ways that would have been difficult, if not impossible, before.
Saizomaru had the upper hand in agility. It was this that he would use to overwhelm his opponent. But he had to play it smart and safe for the moment.
"I wouldn't have it any other way," he replied with a sober expression. This fight was only just beginning. He wanted to see more. "You'll have to show me more of what you can do."
And show him, the namekian did. Huge fists almost as large as the android's torso began to lash out in a flurry. Saizomaru may have the upper hand of manoeuvrability, but now Mollusc was starting to use his own size to his advantage. As fast as they were, Saizomaru hadn't the reaction to avoid such a large fist without receiving a powerful glancing blow.
Once more he was on the defensive, trying to use his arms to block and parry each attack, trying to keep his body from receiving one of those hits. But as more and more punches lashed out, the android could feel his arms starting to give way to the rest. His defense was starting to fail. He didn't expect to see as much power as he was right now.
Then his arms gave in. A solid punch to his chest had knocked him back. Another had put him down on the ground.
I see it… There!
As another huge green fist came crashing down, Saizomaru held up both hands. He caught the strike in his palms, then pushed it to one side, letting it smash into the ground beside him, sending fragments of the arena outward.
Quickly he gripped Mollusc's wristband and pulled himself up until he was now running along the length of his huge arm. With a palm held out, he began to gather a spectral force into his hand, a dense amount of swirling, invisible ki that formed into an orb.
Then he jumped right towards his opponent's face.
"Force Palm!"
The android slammed the orb right in the center of Mollusc's eyes. As the orb connected with his skull, it exploded outwards like a claymore mine. Once he was done with his attack, he would use the explosive propulsion to position himself further away from the namekian, re-establishing his distance.

Saizomaru didn't want it any other way huh? Mollusc smirked a bit. He was fine with that. He seemed to easily push the Android on the defensive. He seemed to be focused on trying not to take some serious damage from Mollusc barrage. He'd have to see where it went, however. Saizomaru was doing a great job taking his blows. He managed to get him in the chest as he brought another arm. Saizomaru seemed to use that his chance to strike. Then the man grabbed one of his wristbands pulling him forward. He was charging up an attack. Mollusc could block or try to dodge but he wanted to see what he could do. The man had leaped up to his face as Mollusc moved his left shoulder in the way using it to block. He felt pain shoot up his shoulder and down his body from the explosive force of his attack.
His foe really was the real deal. That must have been one of his stronger attacks, compared to the first hits he took, this was a heavyweight blow. While he was in pain he'd not Saizomaru think he'd get away with that. His right arm shot forward extending as to try and grab Saizomaru as he leaped up to hold in place for a bit. "Stong attack." Whether or not he'd grab Saizomaru or not he'd open his mouth. Orange Ki sparked before a beam of ki flew out of his mouth. He'd attempt to pay Saizomaru back with a powerful mouth beam. He'd have to see how Saizomaru handled it, he doubted it'd be enough to deal some serious damage. "Dragon's Breath." He'd call out as the beam would close in on Saizomaru, just as a nice warning this was not a normal attack. The same that Saizomaru had done with his last attack.

Saizomaru PL: 240,000 (Overdrive Active)
Saizomaru landed back onto solid ground, his steps silent despite his own weight. The dust and vapour from the attack's force and heat made the arena slightly foggy, though enough so that the spectators couldn't see much in the way of where or how Mollusc was. The only thing that was even apparent was that the large namekian wasn't reduced to dust.
Then, suddenly, from out of the smoke shot a huge, long green limb that wrapped its fingers around Saizomaru's body. He hadn't expected anything like this. It had taken him completely off guard. At least now he knew of such a technique that namekians could utilize
Seriously? Extendable arms? The hell kind of body do these guys have?
His thoughts couldn't carry further as his attention was caught once again by Mollusc. His opponent had praised his strength, though the android was beginning to feel as though they were about to return the favour in kind. Then, their mouth wide open, the namekian was charging an attack.
Blackened, metal hands tried to pry those huge green fingers from around himself, but he did not have the leverage to do so. As much as he was of equal strength to this guy, Saizomaru found himself at a stalemate, if not a disadvantage, when it came to matching strength for strength. He was a sitting duck for the most part.
And then the beam fired.
"This is gonna hurt."
The android's entire form was caught in the blast. But he did what he could to hold it back—not for his sake, but for the sake of the audience that would have been caught in the line of fire. Arms stretched, Saizomaru attempted to shield the people behind him as best as he could.
And, thankfully, it was enough.
Hurled backwards, the black android tumbled along the ground as the last of the energy had either been blocked by his body or had dispersed in the aftermath. Bright navy blue patches had formed on past of his chest, his abdomen, and his arms where the heat from Mollusc's attack were starting to show visible damage. Parts of his hair had been singed at the tips. His body was starting to let off streaks of grey smoke.
Slowly he stood back to his feet. It had been a while since he felt pain, if only in his face. He could feel the adrenaline rushing in his artificial body. He was getting pumped for this fight.
But he needed to show the namekian a lesson.
"Gotta hand it to you," he said with a smirk as he began to sweep away the dust and debris from his body, "you ain't too shabby yourself. Although…"
His hand began to raise slowly. His palm was held out, facing the namekian. Once more that ephemeral energy was beginning to swirl and gather, coalescing into another orb that only got bigger and bigger as more ki gathered. The once gold ball-sized orb had amassed into a basket ball.
"I think I'll show you what a real attack looks like."
The orb began to thrum with a low vibration. It began to shimmer in the light as though it was like a diamond. Then, it shrunk quickly, almost as though it had completely vanished.
"Deva Palm."
A huge explosion ruptured from the android's palm into a completely invisible force of ki that threatened to completely engulf Mollusc in its spectral grasp. With such a large target to hit, it would be nigh impossible for Saizomaru to miss. At least the size of his opponent would be enough for him to completely shield the audience from the damage.

He managed to hit Saizomaru. He was sent flying back. He'd watch a grin on his face as the man was damaged. Guess, both of them had gotten each other with a good shot. Still, he seemed not that bothered by it. The man threw a strong attack and he threw a strong attack back. Then the man reavleed why. He had more energy to spare. He seemed to have a stronger attack waiting right around the corner. The Deva Palm he called it. He'd form a ki blast in his hand as an idea came to mind. He'd threw it down in front of him as he watched him fire off his attack. There was no wave, it seemed to not be visible. He'd put his arms in front of him. Then he was engulfed in the attack.
Mollusc watched as his body suffered massive damage. His attack was a serious one. He made a smoke screen with his own ki blast he threw down earlier to trick Saizomaru. He needed to play some mind games to take advantage in this fight. After the attack hit his regeneration kicked him. Most likely to Saizomaru with the screen he'd not see anything but the kneeling shadow of Mollusc as if he had been badly damaged. Out of the smoke came Mollusc with only a few news bruises and bumps. From behind, of course, anyone would have seen he just regenerated. He didn't want to admit but that was pretty dangerous. He had read the toury rules but even if he could afterimage he'd of been hit. It was just that fast. Now it was time to strike. First, Mollusc had to keep his foe on edge. "If that was a real attack i'm disappointed." Mollusc opened his arms out to the crowd. Maybe to be a little showman. To show that Saizoamaru so-called powerful attack had done little to him. "Come on give me another." He'd taunt before he went on the attack. Mollusc leaped from where he had been sending a kick at Saizomaru to send him flying or attempting to anyway before bringing both arms down to knock him into the Arena's floor.
Fired a ki blast to make a smoke screen so Saizomaru does not see him regenrate. Took 103 Percent Damage. Then used Regeneration to Restore 100 Percent. KP:3/3

Saizomaru PL: 240,000 (Overdrive Active)
There still remained a pillar of smoke and dust. It seemed as though Mollusc had thrown down his ki blast in order to either distract Saizomaru, or provide some sort of obfuscation to limit the android's visibility. Not that he needed his eyes to 'see' where Mollusc was. With such a huge level of power, Saizomaru could sense him like the light of a lighthouse in the wake of an oncoming storm.
It didn't take an awful long time until the namekian had made his way out from the veil. But, to Saizomaru's surprise, he looked almost completely fine, as though his last attack had done little to him. He folded his arms across his chest, trying to see any sign of fatigue on his opponent. There was some to be sure—the fight had been going on for a short while and exchanges have been made.
"Well colour me surprised," gleamed Saizomaru with a smirk on his face. "Either you're got some snazzy defenses, or you can regenerate damage just like those majins I've been coming across recently. Not that it matters…"
Now it felt as though the namekian was starting to seethe with overconfidence. He was loosely pandering to the crowd to try and get the crowd on his side. For the most part it had worked—they loved to see a warrior who showed off, especially one that went ahead and no-sold one of the android's strongest attacks.
He even went as far as to taunt the android. Not that that would win him the fight.
Saizomaru watched as the opponent charged him. His arms unfurled from his chest and extended outwards. The huge, tree trunk-like leg of the Namekian swung in a horizontal swipe, but the android was prepared. His hands gripped the baggy pant leg of it and dragged it downward, letting it swipe low to the ground and just out of range of his body. When those huge arms came down to swat him, he merely stepped forward to get between them, clear out of the way of those hammer fists.
Keeping with the forward momentum, Saizomaru slid, once again, between the namekian's legs and began to flip and twirl to keep distance, using those erratic movements to keep himself unpredictable to enemy attacks. As he did so, he began to fling out ki-infused shuriken towards his opponent, holding him at bay as he made the gap between them wider.
Finally he stopped, creating several meters of distance between the two. "What's wrong? Tired already?" he taunted. "You may have tanked my last attack, but the effects are showing. You're getting sluggish."
Mollusc KP: 3/7
Sai dodges the melee strikes and retaliates with his own ki-infused shuriken in lieu of using normal ki blasts.

Saizomaru seemed to not have realized he had healed himself. He said either he had some good defense or he could regenerate. He’d not reveal his secret but it was good that he was not sure what happened. That was the point in what he had done anyway. Still, his offensive moves were not having much luck. Saizomaru was dodging each blow but that was keeping him on the defensive. That was alright with them but still, he had to be ready for his offensive attack. Then he watched as Saizomaru attacked. He was throwing some sort of shurikens at him. He had an enough of this dodging affair. Mollusc used his own speed leaping right over and crashing behind Saizomaru landing spot.
“You have been dodging my moves. Honestly, I’ve met your dodging kind before. Your the easiest of fighters to deal with. You think my form makes me slower less agile. You think you did damage to me. Maybe but, I’ve fought your type before. You got all the energy in the world but once that sparks leave you got nothing in the tank.” It reminded him of Ramen and Chromo. He remembered when he fought Ramen where she had two forms and while she seemed stronger in that second form, in that first form she could be more reckless. A Sacrifice for her ki in power. The Problem with Saizomaru is he didn’t have to pick between those two. That was a pain but if he used all his energy up Mollusc would get the advantage. He’d then use his quick movement in this form to try and grab Saizomaru and chuck him into the air. Whether he dodged, blocked or was thrown he’d open his mouth an orange beam of energy racing through the air towards Saizomaru aiming to pay him back for all the damage he had done earlier.

The fighting had been brutal and flashy and just all around great to witness, but in the end, as the whistle blew across the stadium, it had to come to a conclusion. There just wasn't enough time to see every single fight through to a clean knockout! Oh well, maybe some other time there could be a tourney structured that way. But, for now, Polbo walked out onto the battlegrounds as the dust from the combat settled, both fighters and audience alike no doubt waiting in anticipation to hear the final results of the battle. Though not everyone may have realized it, there was definitely a clear winner in the first big leagues match.
"Now how's that for some action?" Polbo asked into her microphone with a grin, the thousands in the crowd responding with overwhelming cheers. "Our green friend and our silver friend here both put up a good fight, but now that all's said and done, one just happened to be able to put up a better fight than the other." The Earthling glanced back and forth between Saizomaru and Mollusc, leaving everyone in anticipation for the briefest of moments before she finally raised a hand, pointed towards the Namekian. "Let's all give a big hand for Mollusc, the winner of this match!" The people cheered Mollusc's name and clapped for his praises, many of them surprised he'd been able to come out on top as Polbo walked back off the stage to start getting things prepped for the next fight. Maybe there was some stock in the 'power of Porunga' after all?
