The host of the tournament, Polbo herself, entered back onto the scene in front of the excited crowd, waving towards them with her left hand, and bringing her mic up to her mouth with her right. "Now, this fight's gonna be a doozy!" she declared, riling up the crowd even further. "We've had ourselves some good fights, and this will be the second to last one until round two in a while, so I hope you all feel like you got your money's worth! I know I did!" By the sound of it, the crowd sure seemed satisfied with the action. "Alright, here are this round's brave fighters!" Polbo announced as the giant screen over the stadium began to flash and display its graphics.
"The president of Crop Co. and the wannabe president of the Earth itself: Carro!" Polbo announced to the stadium, "And he'll be facing one of his own employees at Crop Co., and rumored love interest: Sulfur!" The Earthling made her way over to the safe area off the side of the battlefield, and gave one last announcement into the microphone: "These two are sure to put on a good fight for all of us! Let the battle begin!"

Well, today was the day! Sulfur grinned widely from inside her fused power suit, her legs feeling as if they were jelly due to all the excitement and nervousness she was experiencing. She was going to fight Carro for once, and honestly… she’s excited and scared for what’s gonna happen. Sulfur wasn’t a fan with the idea of hurting her boyfriend obviously, especially with all the nice things he did… ehh, it felt wrong that she has to fight him. But hey, it was just a friendly little spar! So nothing bad was going to happen! Let’s just hope she doesn’t have to repair anything after this… The avali would sort of awkwardly stand there at one side of the battlefield, looking around from inside her power armor. “You think you got this, baby doll?” A voice could be heard coming from inside the mech, it being AVALON herself.
“Y-Yeah, don’t worry! Just make sure not to hurt Carro and stuff, alright? I don’t want him to have any broken bones and stuff… ugh, I would hate that.” Again, she didn’t really want to hurt him. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure. Now go and fight him! It’ll be fun once you get into it.” The feminine voice said to the avali, which would calm her down a little bit. After taking in a deep breath, Sulfur would point to the other side of the battlefield where Carro most likely was at. “Okay, C-Carro! Try your hardest, o-okay?! If you don’t, then I’m gonna kick your… butt! Sorry for my language...”
“You sound like you’re about to have a nervous breakdown or som-“
“S-Shut it! But I am having one right now yea...”

BIG LEAGUES; SULFUR VS CARRO
CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 42,500
A burst of orange ki resounded above the arena, the once massive form of a certain mechanical feline that swooped down from the clouds shrinking and flickering, leaving a smaller glowing figure to drop to the ground with a THUD and puff of dust. An armored tail lashed to and fro, a pair of cannons moving up and down before settling on a forward-facing stance. Metallic mask unfolding, Carro took a slow inhale in before he revealed his face and slid his visor away from his eyes. To be honest, he didn't feel the best about fighting Sulfur of all people. But regardless, it would be an excellent away for him to test her abilities for the battles to come. She was a hard-hitter for sure, but how long could Sulfur last against the big boss of Crop Corporated?
"Eh, no hard feelings here." The saiyan shrugged, taking a few steps forward and crouching down into a makeshift battle stance. "I know you're likely... well, hesitant to fight me. Think of this as a little test drive, though." Energy crackled around the shared form of Carro and LEO. "If you can show me you can handle the power you have now, and I'll give you and your partners a little gift I've been working on~" He pointed a finger gun at the Avali.
Welp, it was now or never.
In a flash, a thin beam of orange ki flew from Carro's pointed finger, aiming to simply graze Sulfur's armored shoulder and put her on the defense. "So try your hardest, or WE'LL kick YOUR butt!" The saiyan drive to fight burned bright now in Carro as he rushed forwards with one of LEO's armored claws bared, aiming to deliver a swift swipe to Sulfur's torso to start the match off.

“Oh, I’m not he-hesitant at all, Carro! Hehe, I’m actually really excited for this! I always wanted to show you how capable I am in a fight, a-and… yeah!” Sulfur smirked widely from under her helmet, a feeling of glee and nervousness overwhelming the poor avali. “I’m gonna give it my all, don’t worry.” The avian would go ahead and extend TURO’s claws in each hand, three yellow ki-blades forming from her knuckles. They crackled with a mix of blue and yellow energy, “If I accidentally hurt you, tell me okay? I can pack a big punch and…” The four mechanical ears she had immediately perked up upon hearing that Carro had a gift, but there was obviously a catch… she had to prove to him that she can handle this power!
With a smirk, she would get into the stance that Saizo taught her a while back, keeping one fist out, and one tucked in. “Well, after this is over, you better have the gift ready for this! A-And I might have a gift too ready… or something too!” Now she had to think on what to get him, causing Sulfur to become distracted for a split-second. Maybe she can get him a game? Ooo, maybe she can…
“Eeeeek!”
Sulfur squealed whenever a beam of ki came flying at her, it grazing against her shoulder. She would puff out her cheeks, believing what he did was rude! The avian smirked however after hearing what he had to say next, “Okay, Carro! Let’s do it!” Now it was official; the two were about to fight. Carro would go ahead and do the first move, swiping at her with his claws! The avian immediately crossed her arms, using her own claws to deflect the saiyan’s attack. The metal and ki would let out a few bright sparks before Sulfur goes ahead and shoves the saiyan back, “Hehe, you’re not the only one with claws here!” Sulfur shouted, before lunging towards Carro, wanting to give him the taste of his own medicine by swiping her claws at him!
Avaluro uses [N1] ATK Boost 50% to swipe at Carro, having a damage potential of 17,105 (40%) if it lands!

Carro was surprised to catch Sulfur off guard initially- but it was good she was snapped back to the fight now. Soon enough, their fists clashed, sending them staggering back away from each other. Their powers were just about equal, but the saiyan would find himself waving his palm to shake off a little aching. LEO's own eyes atop the saiyan's helmet rolled with an air of boredom. Why hadn't Carro powered the two of them up yet? This wasn't fun and games!
Sulfur rushed towards the saiyan, and the feline AI had already found it time to stop playing around with Sulfur like a ball of yarn. Not of his own accord, Carro's armored arm extended forwards, forearm raising to block the blunt of the attack. Cracks coursed across the white plating, but it held strong. "ACTIVATING OVERDRIVE PROTOCOL: LEVEL ONE OVERHEAT DETECTED." A voice echoed from his helmet, Carro's expression shifting to shocked worry. "A-already?! You know this costs a lot to repair and--" Energy already began to well in the cannons on Carro's back. "...Fine, but you're going off of your premium fuel for a week to make up for this."
Wrestling control of the armor back from LEO, Carro would lurch towards Sulfur... He really didn't want to hurt her too badly, but surely she could take a little love tap from this higher-powered phase, right? "Heads up!" The jets on the saiyan's back flickered to life as he'd attempt to grip onto Sulfur's arm to hold her in place, and fire his cannon right at her shoulder!

Sulfur felt kinda glad that her attack hit, but she also felt pretty guilty about hurting both Leo and Carro. The smirk she had on her face would turn into a slight frown, suddenly regretting the decision to even fight him in the first place. All that excitement she had for the fight slowly began withering away, her ears pinning back slightly as she tried to think on something to say. She didn’t really want to disappoint him or anything, and she was kind of afraid if something worse might happen if she just… quit all of the sudden. Would she be laughed at? Would Carro think of her as some sort of nerd and leave her? Soon enough she began to experience fear more than anything, her eyes widening from all these horrible thoughts.
But again, Sulfur would be pulled from her imagination whenever Carro grabbed onto her arm, her eyes growing wide as she began to panic. “W-Wait, I-I… aaah!” The avali would let out a loud yell once Carro fired his cannon at her shoulder, the metal that protected it beginning to flake off a little bit, revealing some of her feathers. The alien winced as she felt a wave of pain suddenly going through her, her shoulder beginning to ache a tad from the impact. Did he just power up to do that attack? How… why would he do that?! Immediately the avian would shove the saiyan away, wanting to distance herself from him so she can think on what to do.
More feelings began to emerge from the alien as she tried to think on what to do. Carro was way smarter in combat than her, she knew that for a fact… What can she do that could beat him? “H-Hey, Carro…” She suddenly spoke allowed, a wide smile forming across her face. Sulfur wanted to stop fighting, she didn’t want to hurt him and she didn’t want him to hurt her… but right now she needed to prove to Carro that she is a capable fighter as well! “You gonna have to try a little harder than that if you wanna beat me, h-hehe!” For now she needed to stall for a bit, then maybe she had a chance to prove herself!
“After I win, y-you’ll show me what the gift is, then… you’re gonna t-take us out to the movies together, y-yeh! A-And we're gonna watch... I 'unno!”
This must've been a confidence boost? Eh, whatever. Sulfur readies herself, preparing for another attack by Carro.

"Ah jEEZ--!!" Carro stuttered, taking a metaphorical step back after his attack landed hard on Sulfur. Was she going to be okay? However, the saiyan's worried expression began to soften. She hadn't given up, had she? "HehEHeh--" Carro laughed, genuinely. She was outmatched and unable to power up just yet, but her tenacity was... "You know your spunk here is part of why I fell in love with ya, right?" Carro flashed a teasing finger gun again, a brief flicker of ki flaring from his palm, but not firing.
"...LEO, let's go full throttle. She can handle our full power." Carro whispered into the microphone on his helmet. There was little doubt in the saiyan's mind. This time, even the feline AI was hesitating, a little taken aback by the usually cautious Carro's quick shift to blast his girlfriend with everything they had. "Well, I hope you have the strength to back up your words." The orange glow seeping out of Carro's armor intensified. He raised a palm as his armor expanded, claws lengthening and shoulder broadening. The cannons lowered down onto his arm, bursting with energy many times stronger than before. The ground shook slightly.
"...Because this is our strongest attack." Carro closed his eyes, slowly inhaling. What if he was wrong about Sulfur's inner strength, and she'd be the one in the hospital bed this time around with him crying at her side...? The scene shook him, but the thought of the two of them toasting and celebrating after a match well fought pushed the saiyan forwards down his set path. "So, here's my GRAND FINALE!" Carro hoisted his cannons into the air, and...
On cue, a massive surge of orange eclipsed the sky above. The ki above sparkled and exploded, remaining spires diving right to the ground. Blow after blow, they'd attempt to barrage Sulfur time after time again. Carro's eyes remained closed in anticipation as he continued to pour out energy, the glow from his armor faltering from the drain of his strongest technique and even stronger form...
Would everything really be okay after this...?

Sulfur panted quietly, her exposed shoulder aching a tad bit. It did kind of hurt, but honestly she could’ve cared less right about now. She had to fight him, no matter what. She couldn’t back down because she was hurting and that she didn’t want to hurt him. If anything, that attack was enough proof that he wanted to do this so he more than likely didn’t care if she went all out. The avian would lift her face mask, revealing the wide smirk she had. “I-I…” Hearing that sorta threw her off a little bit, but she immediately recovered once she saw him raise a finger gun. Her mask would shift itself back on as she got into her fighting stance, “I g-guess I can say the same thing, hehe… but let’s not talk now, a-alright? We gotta… do this first.”
Honestly she knew for a fact that she was going to lose. She couldn’t transform right now considering it would overload Avaluro’s systems, and she wasn’t just worried about Avaluro, she was worried about herself. If it overloaded while she was inside, she would more than likely get fried… so for now she had to wait. Sulfur’s ears perked up after hearing Carro, a little chuckle escaping the alien as she gave him a semi-confident response. “Yeah, I have enough strength! I-I have a lot more strength, a-actually! More than you!” She went ahead and said, though soon enough she began to feel fear upon hearing Carro’s words.
Is he going to do what now?
Sulfur’s eyes widened from beneath the mask, freezing as she saw Carro pointing his cannons up in the air. He wasn’t going to do it, right? Was this some sort of joke or something? Soon enough she would be pulled away from her trance after the room was suddenly lit up with a bright orange glow, and before she could even react, the barrage of ki would begin to come down. Well, this was going to hurt…
She continued staring up at the sky, waiting for the attack to land and expecting to be knocked out. Sulfur closed her eyes, only to open them after hearing a voice from inside her mask.
“Max Overdrive ready for activation.”
Maybe she did have a chance.
As blow by blow came down, a puff of smoke would surround the avali’s figure to the point she could not be seen. Sulfur screamed allowed as her body was struck from the barrage, bits of her armor being blasted off. Luckily enough she managed to transform in time, crackles of blue and yellow energy dancing off her powersuit’s frame. It wasn’t really all that flashy, but it sure proved useful.
“CAAAAAARROOOOOO!!”
Sulfur would lunge from the smoke, immediately dashing towards the saiyan. A few more blasts would manage to hit her as she ran towards him, but it wasn’t going to stop her. Once she was close enough, Sulfur would lunge towards him claws-first.
“MEGA THUNDER CLAAAAAAW!”
The avian would begin to swipe at Carro rapidly, screaming as she did this. Sulfur closed her eyes as she did this, and soon enough her power would suddenly increase as she sacrificed the suit’s defense! She screamed even louder as her swiping sped up, which soon came to an end once she fired a ki blast at his chest, aiming to blast him away from her! If all of this was successful, she would begin to pant, her body trembling. She was so weak right now, and it felt like she was going to pass out at any moment…
Her body was aching all over, but she didn’t care. Even if her exposed skin began to bleed a little bit, she wanted to continue the fight. But as she panted, she would suddenly fall forward, her transformation immediately switching off.
“I think I proved myself enough today…”

Just as planned.
"There it is!" Carro's tone turned giddy. In spite of his full power, Sulfur still stood. And boy, was she readier than ever to strike back. Folding his arms together while grinning wide, the layers of armor on his mechanized arm were held between him and Sulfur as a buffer... Not that he expected it to do much, though.
Carro couldn't help but to let out a quick yelp as the attack struck it's mark, point-blank. In spite of his increased defenses, pain wracked his body. The armor around his arms shattered completely, falling to the ground and leaving his exposed arms bruised and freshly bloodied. The metal covering his torso was dotted with recoil cracks as well, a few pieces of the chromatic plating chipping and falling to the floor below as the saiyan fell back, landing hard against the ground with grit teeth.
His form was unmoving for a few moments. Shortly after Sulfur fell to the ground, his exposed fingers clenched, legs forcefully pushing him back upright. Carro panted. "...You k-know Tia's gonna kill us after this, right?" Carro laughed, forcing a gentler grin and walking towards Sulfur's battered form. He really did a number on the poor Avali, but... Look at her, she was still conscious! Extending a hand forwards in an offer to help her to her feet, Carro took a slow breath in. He had an idea, but... Was it really the right choice after pushing Sulfur this far already?
"...Let's go home, Sulfur. W-we've fought hard enough already, and we'll go see that movie after I give you my little surprise." A brief pause. If Sulfur was back on her feet now, she'd see relief and pride in the saiyan's eyes, but something else as well... "...And get you ready for your next match in this tournament." Carro raised a hand to the crowd, having stopped cheering the moment the two fell to the ground. Their hushed silence didn't last long, though. "...I'm not sure what the judging on this fight is, but I forfeit. Sulfur here is surely more of a show than me!"
Cheers began to erupt again. Carro fell into a slight limp, but continued to stand. "...So, if we get home and clean up fast enough, I don't think Tianum will notice." He whispered to her between the crowd's chants. "I'll call my dad to pick us up."
"........I-If anyone asks, we fell down some stairs."
Carro activates his BATTLE ARMOR SIGNATURE! Defense increased by +x2! (255,000 DEF PL / x6)!
Carro and LEO tank the MEGA THUNDER CLAW fully! ~100% damage taken! Ouch.

Sulfur continued to pant quietly, going on ahead and removing the helmet from her head. Kami, it felt good taking that thing off. A gust of cool air would hit her in the face, and OH BOY it was a relief. With all that ki energy hitting her and whatnot, it sorta overheated her suit a tad bit, especially with the transformation. A smile would form across her face as she laid there, though it would begin to shrink upon realizing that she just lost. Though as she thought about it, she didn’t really much care about the fact that she just lost, instead she felt disappointed in herself. She still had enough energy to get back up; she can still fight and get this over with.
Sulfur grunted quietly as she tried to get up, to no avail. A quiet whimper would escape the avali as she just dropped to the ground, her body seeming to have already given up. She just laid there for now, waiting for the announcer to speak… only to hear Carro’s voice. Slowly she looked up at the saiyan, a smile spreading across her face as she walked over to her. Sulfur remained silent for now and looked away, suddenly feeling embarrassed. She didn’t give him her all, so she shouldn’t be happy, right? Tears began to form in her eyes, letting out yet another whimper… until Carro offered his hand. Sulfur blinked a few times and stared, though she would go ahead and take it.
Once she was up, the avali would go ahead and hug the saiyan. “I-It hurts to stand, so… I’m going to use you as a crutch, o-okay?” Sulfur said, smiling. “Let’s go home a-and… fix ourselves up. Then w-we’ll do the other stuff, o-okay?” She giggled, though immediately grew silent upon hearing what he had to say next. “What…?” Sulfur stared at the saiyan, a look of disbelief in her eyes. Why would he forfeit? He won! He… “C-Carro…” Tears began to stream down the alien’s face as she just stared at him, soon enough pressing the side of her head against the saiyan’s chest, still holding on to the hug.
“L-Let’s go home, y-yeah… an-and…”
“I love you, Carro…”
....
"Think you can h-help me walk?"
Will be attempting a thread exit as well!

After a few moments, Polbo walked back onto the center stage of the stadium, microphone in hand and a big smile on her face as she waved at the murmuring crowd. Once she'd reached the very center, she brought the mic up to her mouth and began to speak. "Well, that was quite the exciting and heartfelt match, wasn't it?" she said with a slight chuckle, "Maybe not quite the end result that most people may have been expecting, but an explosive and exciting a match as you can hope for, that's for sure!" The audience let out a cheer of agreement for the Saiyan and Avali as they hobbled off of the stage, which hopefully cheered the two badly beaten fighters up. As for Polbo, she had only one thing left to say to the roaring crowd.
"With Carro's official forfeit, the match goes to Sulfur, who will be moving right along to round two! Let's all give a big hand to the little Avali that could!" The Earthling clapped her hands along with the audience, a presentable grin on her face as she walked back off the stadium grounds. There was only one match left to watch before round two began, and she had to get all the custodians to clean up the mess those two had made, quick!
