Scouter Visor Equipped This city was a mess and needed a lot of reconstruction to happen. Ledinjin needed to make sure these people, as a whole, weren't going to be subjected to the horrors like before. Right now, they viewed him and the FPR as villains due to the tremendous amount of shouting and shrieking at what the current Pride Troopers and Hofferson were doing! If Ledinjin and his people were in the WTF and were committing themselves to attacking that place, they would have slaughtered them all right there as they were talking... They needed to take care of that part immediately. Thus, Ledinjin had sent out a call to Carro for talking about matters. He made an open declaration for the city's protection while Banshee sought to talk it off, in Ledinjin's eyes. However, aside from Saizomaru, Banshee was the only one making an attempt to stop them! Their newest Captain was spacey and distracted by something else after ordering them into position while Sai was too hot headed to handle talking. So, Ledinjin asked Carro to find and reach out to Banshee for him so they could get together to talk in the very city! At the time he was organizing this, he received a message from Thaw requesting he went to meet him at the base up North. This was about 7 hours ago and the information he provided to Ledinjin was... Audacious! However, he had to sit and tell Thaw about situation at hand for a while, which left him a bit disgruntled when he reached Satan City. Some of his people were already there working on repairs, particularly being led by the Niyusu family, a group of 3 Akai Brenchians with 1 father and two kids, and Haval, the FPR's doctor. The Niyusu family was hard at work, aiming to make immediate repairs to the streets and buildings that were damaged by the scuffles from Bloom, Ledinjin, Saizomaru, and Thaw. Haval, meanwhile, was managing a medicinal tent in a park with a hospital near by to get some necessary healing done, in the physical sense, to the city's people. Ledinjin had gone to where the Niyusu family was at, making sure the repairs were going smoothly. It was here, also, that he wanted Carro and Banshee to meet with him. He was hoping they'd agree to this meeting and come! Banshee Carro HoffersonAlright guys! Let's do this.

TO TALK TERMS
CARRO'S PL: 50 | TIANUM'S PL: 7,000
"Carrrooooo...?" The rusted door to Carro's workshop slowly creaked open, Tianum's ears perked and eyes glancing across the dark room, lit only by the cascade of sunlight peetering through the gaps between Carro's curtains. She was out on a little business venture herself, and the fact that the saiyan only sent her a text that he got back from "shopping" at three in the morning was worrisome. Lo and behold, slumped on his chair and his form splayed across his desk was the saiyan. Mud covered his boots and there were several leaves stuck in his hair, along with bruises-o-plenty and several rips scarrered across his clothes that were already dotted with sticky plant burrs. "You really need to stop worrying us, boss." She sighed, picking up a nearby blanket and drooping it over the saiyan.
...But an odd shine of orange seeping through the fabric caught her attention. Prying the sleeping saiyan's hand off of- well, something- she saw a small sphere with several red stars glimmering in the middle. Odd. "Got a new nick-nack, huh?" She picked up the orb and turned it around in her clawed hand. She hoped the saiyan hadn't busted his butt again for this little thing... She shrugged, setting it beside him once more. Questions for later once he was done with his nap and got back on a good sleep schedule.
The Doragon was quick to hop aboard a swivel chair, rolling over to her boss' PC. A message was displayed on-screen, and she grimaced at the sight of the name. Ledinjin? The guy that apparnently caused poor Carro so much stress? She puffed her cheeks, eyeing the message. It'd have been great if he better specified why he wanted to meet to begin with. The audacity of further pestering the person he'd juiced dry was insane! Well, he didn't know what was going on with Carro behind the scenes, likely... But still! He wanted Carro to contact some Banshee person in the Pride Troopers as well... Tianum bit her lip, pondering if she should contact this person- and how.
Eventually, she settled with picking up Terryn's old business card with the Pride Troopers' email on it. Forwarding Ledinjin's message word-for-word, she'd leave a little note at the bottom from herself as well.
> Only come if you want- no pressure! If you do, good luck, I guess? Thank you for your time :) Sincerely, Tianum Diox - Crop Co. COO
Tianum had some lingering doubt, but the once corrupt Badman City was restored back to it's Satan City glory. The streets were mostly empty, free of the usual hustle and bustle of busy people and cramped traffic she was used to- it was like a ghost town! Her ears folded back as she passed by a bakery- closed like rest of the establishments she'd seen. There was no doubt that the poor people here needed some time to recover before resuming their normal lives. That was where she'd try to help, too!
Before she jet over to the city, Tianum was quick to whip up some chocolate chip cookies, along with some sugar and double fudge cookies with her brother's help- his fire breath made cooking a lot faster. She made some sno-cones and a few ice cream sandwiches herself with her icy powers, too! Carrying a platter with sugar cookies and sprinkled chocolate ice cream with the rest capsulized in her purse, the Doragon slowed her pace down the barren sidewalk, glancing to her phone. The message said they were meeting somewhere around here... She was never good with directions, though. She slumped and sat on a nearby bench, just around the corner from where the sounds of repairs where Ledinjin was.

TO TALK TERMS| Banshee's PL: 42,500 |
Upon receiving indication that a meeting was to take place, Banshee made her way back to the center of Satan City. Aside from a brief journey to participate in a tournament to the North, the city had rather quickly become her temporary home. It was thanks not only to the need to help oversee the city's return to normalcy, a process made less simple thanks to the residual effect of such corrupting magic upon the mind, but also to the claims laid by the Arcosian rebels during the heated confrontation. At first, it sounded like they wanted to take the city entirely. Then, they wanted to manage it. And then finally, their leader Ledinjin had lowered his demands to control over the city's defenses. But none of these arrangements sat well with the ghost.
Though this was presumably meant to be some sort of negotiation, her role in this talk would be quite singular: she wanted to ensure that Crop Co didn't sell out the people of Satan City, and she wanted to talk down Ledinjin and make him see her side of the dispute. They had just freed this city, there was no need to immediately make them a bargaining chip for one organization or the other. She touched down on the street near the indicated area, glancing from left to right to try to spot the Arcosian or Saiyan in question. Per usual, she was dressed in her Pride Trooper attire complete with a brilliant red sash, a lasting memento to Koban.
Thanks to her uniform, passers-by no longer seemed to fear her presence. Though she remained a ghost, she was a ghost that appeared as one of their defenders. She had even abandoned carrying around her usual scythe, materializing it only when a threat appeared. Protecting Earth meant staving off threats from within and without, protecting the rights of those who lived there... and just not scaring everyone half-to-death every time you stepped foot in a city.
"Alright, I'm here. Now where are you two..."

Alright, sorry about the delay! Let's get to the nitty gritty.
At the moment, there wasn't really much that Ledinjin could do for them. The Niyusu family 's head, Niyusu senior, had been handling the repairs and organizing everyone effectively around reestablishing and strengthening supports on the buildings that had been weakened by the shockwaves from before. Ledinjin was asked to help out with his immense strength for a bit, simply to make sure that the structure was supported up before they put in the new pillars. It was during this time that Banshee arrived, along with someone who felt kind of familiar. Someone he felt around Carro at his home the one time they got together to share blueprints.
"Niyusu, are we almost done here," Ledinjin asked the Yellow-Orange middle aged man.
"Yep, just a bit more," Niyusu replied, waving his hands to a one man operated crane carrying a large and cylindrical pillar, "Just a bit more... Alright, that's good! You can move now, Boss."
Ledinjin did so, letting the crew get to it. He huffed, as he looked to Niyusu, "Alright, I need to go do something. If something goes wrong, holler loudly!"
He flew out the gap with a wave to the Brenchian and to the pale ghost. Once more, she had that scythe of hers out in the open. She didn't seem to know where he was. He waved to Banshee as he announced his presence.
"Over here, Banshee... You often carry around that weapon, don't you," he inquired with a brief pause, "I'm hoping you're here to talk and not fight. There's not a need for it."

Tianum's ears perked, the sound of voices echoing nearby. Yup, there was the festively-colored Arcosian in his christmas tree glory. He said something about a weapon, but... Wasn't that pale lady empty handed? She furrowed her brow and clicked her tongue. "Whaaaat weapon?!" Her voice rang from afar, sounding about room volume from where the two nearby were standing. Gliding over, she'd dust herself off and prop herself down beside the two. "U-uh, hello! I'm Tianum- Carro's assistant. He's... very busy and tired today, so I elected to come talk, uh, instead." She grinned toothily, shark-like fangs bared.
"You know, it's wise to book appointments like this in advance instead of jumping it on us." She lectured Ledinjin, hands on her hips and eyes narrowed. "Just do that in the future, alright? I can hold down the fort for Carro for now here." The Doragon straightened herself once more, the tip of her tail flicking up.
"You said you wanted to talk about the city in the email, but... Not much else. I'm not completely filled in on what went down myself, soooo..." She slowly inhaled. "...But I think I know enough." Her expression turned grim, and she positioned herself a few paces back from Ledinjin and closer to Banshee. "So... uh, what's the short of what you wanted to say?" If Carro's tired rants back at HQ were anything to trust, it was that Ledinjin could get very wordy and "preachy", as he put it bluntly, sometimes...

Banshee offered a curt nod to Ledinjin as he called to get her attention, though a look of confusion crossed her face at the 'weapon' reference. He might have just been so used to seeing her with it that he just assumed she had it or something. "I'm unarmed," she said, holding up her empty hands. "At least, as unarmed as I can be. The scythe is as much a part of me as anything else you see. If I need it, it can be in my hands in mere moments. As far as talking and not fighting, that really depends on what your demands here end up being. My stance has not changed in the slightest since we last spoke."
She gestured around the city, broadly. "These people have their own government, and they make their own decisions. Neither you, nor I, nor Crop Co and their little three-on-three wager can decide who owns or runs any facet of the city, from its politics to its defense. They'll choose these things on their own." Her eyes narrowed at that. There was no room for negotiation along those points, and her tone had a note of finality that suggested such. "Your organization does not have any rights, responsibilities or positions of prominence in this city beyond that of any other non-government organization."
At that, she glanced over to the Doragon. Although she didn't recognize the woman, it seemed she was here substituting for Carro. It seemed a little odd to have someone else come to a meeting that was, in truth, quite important to the city as a whole depending on the Arcosian's insistence on his earlier claims. But the little Saiyan had jumped into harms way three times before her eyes: first to protect North City from her, second to defend Central City from the rampaging Saiyan, and third to help stave off a conflict between the Pride Troopers and Ledinjin's rebels. As much as she wanted to judge him for not showing up, she couldn't help but think there was probably something more going on.
She nodded along with the Doragon. "Yeah -- I've spoken my piece, so. What were you planning to say? I have to imagine you've got some other angle here."

Ledinjin must have been stressed too much, having thought he saw Banshee's scythe! He struggled to maintain composure, slowly and hesitantly cupping his hand over his eyes whilst drooping his head. It didn't help that an on looker was questioning this too!
"My... Apologies," he stammered, before takimg a deep breath through his nose and asked in dodging manner, "I suppose it'd ne alright to start talking now then?"
The answer was yes. Banshee's position had not changed. Let the people choose their defenders... That wasn't a good plan at all. As she made her point, a half reptilian girl came over with cold treats in hand from a bench. This one claimed to be Carro's assistant. She wasn't fully informed and wanted to know what happened.
"I initiated a challenge to the Pride Troopers to see how they faired. They, from my standpoint, fell apart due their leader not being mentally present, as far as I understand. Carro had then initiated a counter challenge, after intercepting a couple of blows from myself, Banshee and one of my fellow rebels to reduce the collateral damage in this area, which my people over in that building have been doing with civilians who are restraining their negativity towards us for my challenge and actions," Ledinjin machine gunned verbally to Carro's assistant before slowing down to a normal talking speed, "I called Carro and Banshee here to talk about this challenge if his and about developing a better response to adversaries like the WTF. That, in turn, is why I am making it my business to be actively defending the city and teach you guys how they work. Banshee, of the ones I know in the Pride Troopers, is the most stable minded... That is tge short version."
There was more goimg on there. However, he didn't wanna go off track. He directed his attention to Banshee, "You are right about that, by the way. That, however, doesn't dismiss the reality of this situation and why I am maintaining this position, Banshee."

Licking away at her own Sno Cone, Tianum glanced to the ghost as she explained her thoughts first. She nodded in response to her concerns and claims. "Yup. That's why we aren't doin' that." Tianum explained. "Carro said this is more about proving mettle to these nerds over here than city ownership things. Besides, neither us at Crop Co or the Federation of... Uh... Well, the F.P.R really have any legal right to lord over the city. Sure, Carro's been planning on setting up a shop, but that's it." In spite of forgetting what Ledinjin's faction was named, she did her best to clear up any issues. "There's nothing that either of us can really do that's outside of usual Z-fighter-ing stuff as far as I'm aware."
"But yeah! I agree that the defense should be decided by the people- not ourselves. It only makes sense that the Earth herself would get to choose who's right, right?" She cheerily chimed, tail waggling to and fro for a moment. "Carro did say one of his big campaigns for president was making sure everyone has a voice if he gets the power to let 'em be heard better and all."
Turning her attention to Ledinjin, Tianum nodded as he explained what went down. "T-that's great, but..." She forced a meek grin. "...Carro already touched me up on the summary. I was more looking for why you called us here, dummy." The Doragon teased with a grin. "If it's about that test-rematch-thing, Carro's at hard work, I'm sure. He was tired and passed out when I found him before I decided to come in his place!"
"I'm going shopping, he said. Psssh, I doubt people come home all muddy with twigs in their hair after shopping." She joked. In spite of her attempts to lighten the mood, there was a little concern in her voice. If Carro was being dishonest with his best friend of all people, what could have pushed him to do so?
"And, uh... Led?" Tilting her head to the side, she pursed her lips. Did Ledinjin really know how things worked on Earth? Maybe, maybe not. "...You know there's a process to controlling parts of cities and stuff, right? Sure, you can brute force it like how the Fleet goons did- thats bad- but standing over a few people and saying you're gonna do stuff doesn't make it official. Doing it illegally will get you in some trouble!" She raised a finger and straightened her posture to continue with her lecture. "If you do want to, that's something the government and such would handle, not a buncha fighters like us. But they're kinda going through a president crisis right now, so it's proobably not the best time."

"I'm not really sure you know a whole lot about the other Pride Troopers if you think I'm the one with the most stable mind. If anything, I'm the least stable. It took me being beaten up by Captain Koban and watching him die before my eyes to commit to this whole--" she waved her hand off to the side in a vague gesture. "This life-style. And while Captain Terryn may not have been, as you put it, 'mentally present'... it was quite a different thing to feel stabbed in the back by supposed allies than it would have been to be challenged by the actual enemy."
She shook her head at the thought. Although on some level Ledinjin was correct that Terryn hadn't exactly demonstrated quality leadership, she remained adamant that the challenge should have never taken place to begin with. She found it more difficult to take Ledinjin at his word as a result of his organization's antics in Satan City, and the question of city ownership was something that had never ceased to irritate her. Even if, as the Doragon had stated, things had calmed down now... it wasn't quite so simple to just forgive and forget something like that.
"As long as we're clear about that legal question," Banshee nodded in agreement to Tianum. "I'm not really sure what your challenge will accomplish if it's just a showdown between giant robots and aliens, but I suppose it can't hurt as long as nobody tries to kill anyone..." As much as she didn't suspect that Carro himself would try to land a killing blow, Ledinjin's disciples seemed a little less restrained than Crop Co was. If anything, their willingness to follow him into the situation to begin with didn't speak wonders of their discretion.
She managed a weak smile towards the Doragon, who at least seemed to have a good head on her shoulders even if it was still a little strange she was here to begin with. "You must be a good friend to him," she commented, before turning her attention back to Ledinjin. "As far as being trained to defend the city, I don't really think that's going to happen. Most of the Pride Troopers are absolutely livid with you right now as far as I can tell. I don't expect they'll forgive and forget enough to view you as any sort of teacher. That might sound unfair, but that's... just sort of how it is."

"I'm an old man with not that many years left with my line of work," Ledinjin spoke up, raising a hand with all the commenting that was happening to get them to stay focused, "Protocols and laws are something that are easily manipulated by those who know them, and just as easily broken. The WTF design laws, machines, and their forces around forceful submission of individuals, which I've spent the entirety of my life fighting against. Whether it is or isn't protocol isn't what I'm here for and what I'm aiming to to teach you, even if you see me as a delech traitor... Banzo was a friend and did that damage, as you've witnessed, and you've learned enough to act out against it. The others, as far as I know, haven't experienced how to handle that."
He looked at Tianum first, to tell her, "Trouble is what I fight every day, with no break. I don't expect you to understand unless you've lived with it, and since you are around a crazed, but good hearted inventor like Hofferson, you probably do to an extent..."
Back to Banshee he looked, to state, "Whether it is fair or unfair isn't up to me or them at this conjecture. You are the only one giving a damn about talking about this and have experienced this. Getting your fellow troopers together and learning to handle this ordeal is your objective. You know this, but aren't acting to handle it well. 'A troop is as strong as their bonds,' is a family saying in my bloodline. It's something that my ancestor, Emperor Koldar Frost of the old Arcosian Empire and former Chief of Command of its empire, had taught to his kids and them to theirs all the way to my siblings and I. Do you want to know why I say this?"
He had to ease her into this mentality. She claimed to be the most unstable, but that wasn't the case to Ledinjin. Not by a long margin, but that was something fraught with so much to talk about when time wasn't going to wait.

"Yup, no maiming and such on our end, at least. Even if Carro's forced to use his trump card, he's set up some nets to fall on, so to speak." She spoke, referencing his Oozaru form. The state was briefly used to combat Banzo before he had perfected it's synergetic design. It still was a work in progress, as the weak saiyan had no way of being in control unless he somehow became stronger himself. Still, LEO had grown capable enough to hold a beastial Carro's instincts in some check.
She grinned and nodded in response to Banshee's next comment- they were the best of friends, after all! Carro would have worked himself to death by now without Tianum, and the Doragon herself would be without purpose if it weren't for her saiyan friend. As for city defense. "...Yeah, I can only imagine how mad the others were. Things are ruffled back at the company, also." She folded her arms as Ledinjin continued with his rant. "...I give "a damn" also, actually" She cleared her throat. "...Also, you really should be more considerate of others' feelings. They aren't going to get better if you treat them like you're treating me and Banshee right now."
"'Cause Carro was... VERY miffed when he came back, and I can imagine you caused the others to feel even angrier than he was. To give some perspective- why would they want to listen to someone who they think has no right to butt in and boss them around, and just got in their way?" She explained with puffed cheeks. "Sure, what happened to you sucks. Being chased by a death army for who knows how long really sucks! I can only imagine." She tried to emphasize, putting her hands over her heart with a sigh. "...But that doesn't give you any power or rights over others whatsoever. The only person you can control is yourself."
"So, I would appreciate it if you took a breather, mister! You're like Carro, but perpetually in workaholic mode somehow. And that mode's not fun for anyone." Carro did get things done when he was that determined, but he worried just about everyone when he continued to again and again push himself too far to get things done. "Emotions aren't bad or anything, either. The Troopers aren't wrong or bad because of what they feel. I'm sure if you could at the very least apologize to them and understand their side, you'd be a lot closer to getting them to follow along. But right now..." She glanced back to Banshee and clicked her tongue. Things could only go well from here if Ledinjin didn't hear her out.

"Protocols and laws exist for a reason," Banshee contended. This wasn't really her domain to begin with, having been an active agent against those very laws in recent memory. But she saw fault with the Arcosian's argument, and she couldn't help but call them out. "Just because the Trade Fleet operates with a set of rules and laws which are unfair doesn't mean that our own laws don't deserve respect. There's a difference between martial law declared to keep a population under the thumb of alien conquest and laws that exist to protect the rights of citizens to maintain their own independence and choose their own path. That's why, no matter what your history is or what you think you've seen in your long history fighting these people, the city remains out of it."
She gave him another measured look at that. She wasn't entirely certain where he stood on the question of the city at this point, and it was becoming very clear very quickly that they weren't exactly stellar at communicating. But all the same, she would continue to reiterate her position on that until it became perfectly clear that it was non-negotiable. "I won't deny that the Pride Troopers are on uncertain ground right now. Without Captain Koban to lead, it hasn't been easy. But I have faith that they'll come together when it matters most: remember that when you played your trick at Satan City, it wasn't the Pride Troopers that backed down in their efforts to cleanse the city. It was Carro who stepped in to bring about a ceasefire."
"My objective is not to teach the Pride Troopers. I cannot teach them because I do not have any more experience than them. They'll learn on their own, and we'll learn as a team, as time goes on. We'll continue to deal with threats as best we can. But we will do so on our own terms." She frowned at him a moment longer before glancing back to Tianum. She seemed to be speaking sense, perhaps moreso than Banshee herself. For now, she figured, it would be best to take a back seat and let her handle the situation. Constantly restating her few talking points to Ledinjin would only get her so far, but this Doragon could at least come at it from a more neutral position.
"... I suppose an apology would go well, though it would have to be genuine to mean much."

"For the love of- I am not changing any of the damn laws of this city or your planet," Ledinjin muttered, wiping his face downwards, "What I am doing is getting you prepared in case one of your own turns traitor and get displaced on a world completely just because a belief that what's being fought for is worthless!"
He brought his hands up to shoulder level at this point, palms upwards.
"I don't want to be doing any of this, but because of what has happened, I cannot afford to be letting anything slide, including my own emotions," he spoke with a raised tone, "An apology can't even be given because of this! They needed to know what could happen, and that was the most controlled instance of that without death happening. That experience is what I applied to this scenario, and it is up to you on whether or not you can apply that. There is much more in this city that needs to be taken care of because the WTF had their crummy fingers here, so I'm going to sift it out carefully to not ruin the people here."
Ledinjin brought hands to his hips as he looked at the two of them. He wasn't gonna get close to making them understand, was he? Not the girl who was representing a weary Hofferson, nor the girl who experienced death before... It was infuriating him, but he couldn't let it show.

Tianum, as kind and understanding and loving as she was, found her face scrunching in disgust and disbelief. Did Ledinjin hear what he was saying? "...You know you're being very rude and inconsiderate of the others right now, right?" She growled, her fangs bared for a moment. If there was one thing the Doragon valued above all else, it was kindness and willingness. Ledinjin, though, was a stick in the mud. This was like talking to a brick wall! "Banshee just said she'd be willing to apologize herself if it became genuine, mister! And you just slapped that right in her face, basically."
"I said it before, and I'll say it again. The only person you control is YOURSELF. You are NOT entitled to tell others what to do and have them follow blindly without having a say in it." Her tone grew stern, eyes narrowing and tail lashing to and fro in agitation. "Now, if you would please, don't keep flaunting yourself over my new friend here and realize that other people aren't in the wrong just because they don't agree with you." She'd just met Banshee, but Tianum liked the ghost- she seemed to have a good head on her. Seeing Ledinjin treat herself and Banshee like such was unacceptable.
"Before we can understand you, you need to understand us. Capiche?" She straightened herself- it was easy to see why Carro was screaming and slamming doors when he returned home now... But just as quickly as her eyes bore daggers into the stronger Arcosian, she'd quickly return to her usual cheery state. "But anyways, it's getting pretty hot out here! These sno-cones are gonna melt fast if nobody wants them, too." She held the platter up with one hand in case any of the two wanted a snack to cool down the growing heat of the situation, metaphorically speaking.

Banshee bit her tongue when Ledinjin replied. Unfortunately, it seemed he was continuing to take the same hard-line stance he had in the city. This seemed to be the way of things with them: they argued in circles, and sometimes it felt like they were arguing entirely different points over each-other's heads. But the Doragon raised a good point, and one which she found herself nodding in agreement over. The only person he could control was himself. That more or less got to the core of what she was arguing to begin with.
"What the lady says is correct," Banshee piped up with a final nod. "It's not that I think your end-goals are necessarily for the worse, or that you don't have the experience needed to have something to offer. It's that you tried to force those lessons onto us at perhaps the worst possible time. You say it was the 'most controlled instance' of it, but we were in the dead center of a hostile city with mind control magic still thick in the air. That stunt did lose you a lot of the trust you had built up by supporting this planet in the past."
