Barban turned to look at the girl as she spoke, a sense of sadness in his heart for the young woman. He supposed that was just how it was, some demons wanted to rule only to make it harder for his kind in the future. His eyes trailed over to Sensoa, wondering if that would be how his charge would feel in the future or if Sensoa could just accept being who he was. Barban didn't get to say anything however as Sai came crawling through the window, talking about healing tanks with Zoe before saying they would need to wake Sensoa up. Hyuki had been sitting upon the table next to his bed and simply reached over to point the eye on his shoulder. The eye instantly opened up, looking to her then Sai. After a moment the large demon began to stir, the green glow on his chest and hair returning to their full color as he sat upright, all of his faces yawning at once.
When asked how he was feeling, Barban would simply chuckle. He was feeling a lot better now that he had gotten a chance to lay down. His fatigue not weighing on him so heavily, but he could use some sleep honestly. He simply shrug as best he could while leaning against the wall. He was about to speak when yet another Yawn escaped Sensoa, loudly as he looked to the others one by one. Barban giving a smile to the large demon.
"Ahh, I am glad you got some rest Sensoa. They have a healing tank ready for you."
Sensoa looked to Sai, then looked to Barban with confusion in his eyes. It took a moment for him to remember what a healing tank was, and the memory of that machine with the green liquid in it came to mind. He didn't like those damned things, they rubbed him the wrong way. A growl from him was the only protest he would give, being to tired to really want to put up an adequate fight. Barban simply gave a good hearted laugh at the large demon's response.
"Haha to tired to even argue back eh? I am glad we didn't find that bastard hunter else you'd have fallen asleep fighting him I dare say."
"Oh shut up."
Sensoa grumbled before standing, almost falling over from being so groggy and tired. Now that his body was feeling the full effects of the fatigue, he was truly showing just how bad he was. Sensoa was tough as hell, that much was for certain but even a body such as his had its limits. Barban suddenly felt extremely grateful that he had come into contact with Sai. Perhaps if Sensoa had pushed the fight, he would not have won. It was then that Barban remembered he needed to be bandaged up, but Hyuki seemed to be on it as a large pair of hands appeared to hold Sensoa still. The large purple hands attached to Hyuki through a thin vapor like veil emitted from her own hands. She moved the hands like puppets as they helped Sensoa balance himself.
"You need to be bandaged up first. Don't move around, to much at least."
Sensoa looked to Hyuki before taking her advice and sitting back down again. His hands being drawn to his nearly numb side, gently touching his side to confirm it was numb.
"Why does the wound not hurt as badly anymore. Is it already healed up?"
He didn't quite understand how numbing medicine worked, having only had healing magic used on him. Medicine was used only when he was sick or feeling ill, never to dull pain from an injury. So this was completely new to him.

Well it seemed as though Barban was doing well enough for him to be able to laugh without it hurting. Sensoa, on the other hand, was still groggy and lacking equilibrium. One could only wonder if it was just because he was tired, because of the wound, or because the anaesthetic was starting to affect his lower extremities. Either way, he was up and able to move.
"Well you ain't got much of a choice," chimed in Saizomaru as he grabbed hold of the roll of bandaging that was left on the bedside table. "Actually… you do. The other option is making that bed your death bed."
He couldn't help but smirk as he approached Sensoa, unravelling some of the bandage from the roll. Kyuki was right—he was going to need bandaging to hold his body together before he was to be subjected to the healing tank. If anything, the cloth would soak up some of the fluid after the tank would be drained.
The larger demon posed a good question. "That would be the anaesthetic numbing the pain for you," replied the android as he began to wrap the demon up like a mummy. He wasn't as neat nor efficient as Zoe was, but it was good enough for the time being. "Trust me, nothing short of a tank is gonna heal whatever the hell made that nice hole in you. Love it or hate it, you're gonna be spending all night in there. At least you'd be able to get some sleep."
It didn't take long for Saizomaru to finish the bandaging. For as sloppy as his work was in this regard, at least he was quick. Once he was done, he returned to one of the free seats by the back wall.
"Now… we play the waiting game." He looked up to Sensoa, then continued, "So, to bring you up to speed: Barban is fine. He just needs to get some rest while his wounds heal. He's not in any danger. However, we need to bring you down to the third floor for healing, which means you two will be separated. One nurse will remain here to tend to Barban's needs, while another is gonna come down to the third floor to operate and monitor your progress."
He turned his gaze to Kyuki. "If I were you, I would remain here. There's not much you're gonna be able to do for Sensoa once he's inside. Not unless you wanna watch his body float about in a container for the next eight hours."

Sensoa just growled at the android's words, looking at the bed where a bit of blood had trickled onto the clean sheets, and he just grumbled his response. He held up his arms as he was bandaged poorly, his eyes simply staring at the wall while he waited for the android to finish up. Sensoa looked to Barban who simply gave him a slight smile as Sai explained the situation, the large demon looking to the patches on his chest. He was told he needed to be in the healing tank to heal his side, but he didn't really agree with that. However he wasn't going to make a scene about it, instead simply yawning, placing his hand over his mouth. Tears forming in the demon's eyes as he did so, even the eyes upon his shoulders got a tear in them to which was wiped away shortly.
"When do I get to eat something. I doubt I'll sit around for long if I get to hungry."
Sensoa said looking to Sai, then Barban respectively. In truth he just wanted to leave already, he didn't like being in this damn hospital. He understood why he was here but in the end he didn't like it. Sai had brought them here out of the kindness of his heart but Sensoa was feeling antsy. He was tired, he felt grumpy and just wanted to go home already. This place felt foreign, like he didn't belong here which rubbed him the wrong way. The nurse had been kind enough, Sai was a good guy as far as Sensoa could tell but this place was just not right in his eyes. Grumbling to himself Sensoa simply leaned forward and looked at the floor while he waited for a response. Hyuki just nodded to Sai in response to his words, she knew she couldn't help the demon in the slightest while he was in the tank. The best she could do was wait with her husband while Sensoa healed, both of them content with this. Hyuki got up before making her way into Barban's bed where she snuggled up to his side to keep him company. The Lupine demon smiling happily as he draped an arm around her and looked to Sai.
"I know we said this before... but thank you... This is a kindness we will try to repay someday. Maybe when the human's scars not so fresh, we will come back and help."
Barban then looked to Sensoa watching the demon as he picked at his bandages. He wasn't trying to remove them but they itched, so he found himself scratching at sensitive spots like under his arms and his lower back. He was attempting to be gentle but his claws did little to keep from hooking onto the bandages. The Lupine demon worried more about Sensoa's personality, if the human's were to hostile he worried Sensoa would take on a dangerous view point and not be content with sharing land with them. This was their world but Sensoa might get the wrong idea and think he could claim land of his own accord without permission. That day would be a bad one, due to the fact it would just make human's hate them even more. But that was for the future, right now they just needed to heal their wounds and rest.

It seemed that the large demon was still trying to wake up, if his yawning was any indication. Saizomaru gave a smirk when Sensoa asked when he could grab something to eat. "You can have something to eat once you're all healed up," he responded. "If we get you cake, I have a feeling the healing tank would end up bringing back the chicken from the egg used to make it."
The android crossed one leg over the other as he waited for Zoe to return. His gaze trailed from Sensoa to Barban, who was now getting his snuggles from his feline wife. It made Saizomaru feel longing for going home back to his missus. He hadn't even told her how long he was going to be in the city for. No doubt she was worried. No doubt she'd beat him around the head for making her worry.
The lupine was quick to thank him again. As overly grateful as he was, it was better than being disinterested as Sensoa was.
"Kindness doesn't need to be repaid," replied Saizomaru as he folded his arms across his metal chest. "Well… not to me, anyways. Take this kindness that I have shown you, and show it in kind to the people of this planet. If you plan on living here, then you'd better start working on having a good reputation. You can start by trying not to get your asses handed to you and pissing blood everywhere."
The door clicked, then opened. Nurse Zoe had come back with one of her colleagues.
"This is nurse Pommy," she introduced. "She will be taking care of you at the healing chamber. She is the most qualified to monitor your progress."
A small one, Pommy was. She was a short Pomeranian zoanthrope, barely clearing two feet in height. Her white fluff was thick and dense, looking like a walking cloud in a nurse's uniform. Her small ears twitched a little when her name was called—a canine instinct, to say the least. Her black lips held a smile as her small, golden eyes looked towards the group.
"Hi there!" she greeted in a somewhat loud and energetic voice. "I'm gonna be taking care of the big guy! Should we make our way down to the healing chamber?"
Saizomaru's eyes lit up. He had to fight back any and all urges to just run over and pick her up and scratch her little doggy ears.
"Yeah, I think we're good to go," he responded as he stood from his seat, maintaining his composure as best he could. He walked over to Sensoa and draped one of the demon's arms over his shoulders. "You can whine about the help later. You barely look like you're able to take two steps forward before falling flat on your face… or faces. Whatever."
The Pomeranian had to stand on her tiptoes to reach the door handle to open it. When she did, she turned back to the two. "Okay! If you'd like to follow me, please."
Saizomaru did as such, holding onto the injured demon as they followed the short nurse to the elevator.
Back in the ward, Zoe made her way to where Barban's bed was. There was small patches of blood where the gauze had been placed, but the colouration was a dark brown with barely any traces of fresh blood. It seemed that the wounds were healing quickly, but it was best to leave the bandaging on until they were completely healed.
"Your friend is in the best capable hands here," she said as she checked the first IV bag. It was half empty already. "I'm sure my brother would like to meet you all if you ever want to go to his restaurant for something to eat. He always said he wanted to meet a demon up close."

Sensoa growled at the android's remark about not getting beat the hell up, a sting at his pride with that one. However before he could respond the door opened to show a small little dog woman, Sensoa's eyes trailing over her. She looked like a puff ball with legs to him, well besides the fact she had a humanoid form. She was apparently gonna be looking over him while he was in this healing tank, but before Sensoa was able to stand of his own accord, yet again the android stung his pride. The demon giving the android a snarl but ultimately did not protest.
"If I wasn't so sleepy I'd punch you."
Sensoa said but otherwise did not struggle, letting the android lead him to the door. The little woman opening the door to have them follow her. The two exitting the room before being lead out the door toward the elevator. The demon simply walking along side the android while he let his thoughts drift. Despite what the android had said, it was true that they had gotten themselves beaten up pretty badly. He felt like it was all his fault that they were in this shape, he had failed to protect not only his home and himeself but lives of his friends. It haunted him to this very moment, it had been what drove him to go to this length with this injuries and he felt the weight of that on him. The sheer weight of his failures, the enslavement and the weakness that had been forced on him. If only he had never gotten captured he wouldn't be exiled and forced to suffer this humiliation. Truly Sensoa had hit rock bottom, a pathetic place where he was just worthless and had no real strength. He could boast of the past, he could claim he would reach his previous strength again yet here he was... Being helped by someone else just to walk.
Barban on the other hand was simply staring at the door, worry in his eye as he waited to see the door close. He didn't need to worry about the injuries to be healed, he worried about the wounds in the demon's mind. On the surface he looked fine but Barban knew better, he knew the sadness in the large demon. His thoughts however were cut short by Zoe as she spoke, telling them about her brother. Her brother owned a restaurant in town they could visit eventually and the owner apparently wanted to meet demons. Hyuki continued to snuggle into Barban's side to get comfortable before closing her eyes to rest a bit as well. Barban simply keeping his arm so she could use it as a pillow. His eye on Zoe as he spoke.
"Yea, that sounds nice. I'll talk Sensoa into going there when we are free to do so..."
Barban returned his gaze to the door, watching it as if he expected Sensoa to walk through it any moment. Worry was painted on his face, concern in his eye for his Charge. He just wished he could do more for Sensoa but knew it was out of his power.
"Perhaps a good little outing to relax would do us all good."
Barban said absentmindedly, his eye going down to his resting wife who was now giving a small pur with each breath. Her face pressed into his fur as she slowly started to drift off to sleep.

Saizomaru couldn't help but snicker at the demon's idle threat. With the state Sensoa was in it was any wonder if he even had the strength to open a door, let alone the strength to punch someone. Idly brush his hand over the android's face, maybe, but certainly not a strike. "Yeah, a'ight then," he chuckled. "Well, if you were to do that, then I would fist you so hard that no amount of healing is gonna help you. But we'll leave that for another time, a'ight?"Pommy let out a giggle. "It's good to see you two getting along so well," she jived as she closed the door behind them, then proceeded to escort the two to the elevator. "Yeah, sure. We'll go with that."The trio made their way to the lift after a few moments, the zoanthrope keeping her pace slow not to fall in speed with the other two, but simply because that's how fast her little legs could carry her. She stretched up to reach the elevator button to call it back up, no doubt being used by another member of staff beforehand. She let out a cheery, humming tune as she waited. When it finally arrived, she made her way inside. Saizomaru followed suit with Sensoa in tow. The tiny white hand pressed the third floor button, then the doors slowly closed. Pommy gave the two a glance as the elevator made its descent, jostling a little. "So how did he get that big injury?" she asked. "He got punched," the android replied bluntly. "And it did that much damage to his body?""He got punched really hard."=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= Zoe took a spare blanket from the briefcase and draped it over the small feline demon. It seemed that Kyuki was as tired as Sensoa, if not more so. It should keep her warm for now. "I think you will like it there," the nurse said as she made her way around to the other side of the bed. She began to put back the leftover materials—bandages, gauzes, and the like. She kept the bottle of anaesthetic on the bedside table in case Barban began to feel pain in his wounds again. "Although… he is not getting as much business as he once did," she continued. Her hands fidgeted with interlaced fingers as she returned back to her seat. "Ever since the people had come out of their stupor, they have been too busy trying to get their own lives back in order. Every businessman and woman have been suffering from the lethargy. Most of their workers are taking time off or coming here just to get over it. It is like a recession of labour right now." She sighed as she brushed a curtain of dark hair from her face, tucking it behind her ear. "I guess it also doesn't help that the restaurant has been past associated with demons—and my brother isn't afraid to goad about it."She looked back up, watching Kyuki breathe through gentle purrs. She smiled a little. "She must be really special to you for her to look after you like this."

Sensoa sat in the elevator with the android helping him stand, his eyes watching the numbers. The tiny little woman asking how he got his injury, to which Sensoa looked at the android who told her. It would have been funny for Sensoa if it was't true, but he just grumbled as his eyes stayed on the numbers. Meanwhile Barban listened to the woman as she spoke, talking about how things were looking bad in the city with how everyone was recovering. The Lupine demon simply nodding as he listened to her talk about how her brother's restaurant was doing. It wasn't surprising to know it was doing bad if demons had been a part of it all along, meaning the citizens would distrust such a place.
Zoe then spoke up about how she took care of both Sensoa and Barban, how Hyuki was someone special to him. Barban would look down at her and given a warm smile, his eye filling with love that told he truly cared for her. She had been with him for so long now he could barely remember the middle. She had met him at the Ghoun estate and the two had a disagreement. That was the foundation for their meeting, a not so good first impression but it worked out.
"Yea... She and I..."
A bit of sadness took in Barban's eye as he remembered the past after their marriage and the reason for Hyuki taking such good care of Sensoa and himself.
"She takes good care of us... She is rough around the edges but she has a heart of gold, and just wants to see us happy. We got married roughly about three hundred and twenty years ago. I was a simply butler and had been with Sensoa's family for roughly thirty years. She came offering to pedal her wares to the Lord of the estate. I had to drive her from out door step but was scolded for not allowing her in. Haha she really knew how to sting at my pride back then."
Barban's eyes soon returned to a happy look as he told the tale. A smile across his face as he looked to the wall and rested his head on a pillow.
"She turned out to be a master apothecary, able to create elixirs of healing and renewal. A rare trait in the place we lived, and so highly sought after. Every time she came into the castle she would taunt me about having to let her in. Ahh how she drove me up the wall and strutted around like a peacock showing off its feathers. Proud girl she is, but when you get to know her..."
Barban gently brushed a finger along her forehead, her hat coming off as she gave a small sigh before snuggling closer. Barban removed her hat before placing it on the table gently being careful not to wake her.
"She is quite humble... She lets the weight of others burden her more than I like. Its what made me fall in love with her."
Barban chuckled as Hyuki gave one final adjustment to get comfortable, hugging him closely with a look of peace and serenity on her face. She was utterly exhausted too, but had been putting on a brave face as much as Barban had been. Barban looked to Zoe with a happy smile.
"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. I owe you my happiness, and my life in more than one way. Of course you wouldn't expect it but I never thought she would go for someone as young as me for a husband. We have two hundred years separating us haha."
Barban gave a small chuckle at that as he simply stared off into space, his eye filled with happiness of the found memories.

Zoe blinked one as she held a finger against her chin. She smiled before resting both of her hands in her lap. "I did not realize you two were married," she admitted in a sheepish manner. It took her a moment to realize that demons had to have offspring somehow. At the same time she found it humorously charming that a wolf and a cat were an item. "That would explain why she is so attached and affectionate towards you."She was beginning to understand these two increasingly more as Barban continued to retell their past history. It sounded as though the feline was a travelling salesperson who just happened to find love in all the strangest places. She pondered what exactly her wares were until the wolf demon's revelation of his wife's apothecarial status. Even Barban's occupation of being the butler to Sensoa was a new tid-bit that she had not even picked up on before. She though he was the larger demon's caretaker in some other capacity like a servant or retainer—a simplistic handyman of low status. He must have been well respected by Sensoa's family to be honoured that title. It made her wonder what exactly aristocratic life was like for demons. Was it any different from human society? Or was there more to it. "I think you two make a nice couple," she said as she stood up, pushing those prior thoughts to the back of her mind as she continued her duties. She made her way to where the drips were stood, switching the pine line from one bag to the other as the first was running low. With as much blood as the lupine had lost, two bags of blood would be plenty to keep him stable and recovering now that his wounds were sealed. The healing liquid from the gauze patches would help in increasing his blood cell count too. "You all had a pretty hard life from what I can imagine," she said in a gentle tone. She unhooked the empty bag from the stand and placed it inside another empty plastic one, then placed it into the case beside her. "I am not sure if things will get better soon, but I know they will do in time. Things always do. Every kind of wound can be healed—some longer than others. But the people here will forget about all of this in time."=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= The elevator jolted once it had reached its stop. A bing sounded before the steel doors slid open. Nurse Pommy stepped out first. "We're here! If you would like to follow me this way," she said as she waited for the other two. Saizomaru hunched down and took the demon's arm once more. "Upsy-daisy, sleeping beauty," he teased as he gently pulled Sensoa to his feet. "Ain't got too far to go now. You'll be right as rain soon."The trio made their way down the corridor before they stopped in front of the double doors to the healing chamber. The Pomeranian girl pushed them open with more strength than what should have been necessary. She struggled to keep one of them open to allow the others entrance. The workers turned to see the three walk in. None of them were too happy to see who Saizomaru had brought along, however. "H-hey! What's he doing in here?" their boss called out as he furiously pointed a finger towards the injured demon. "Here for healing, obviously," groaned the android as he carried Sensoa towards the fixed healing tank. "Or did the huge amount of blood-stained bandaging not give that away? Do us all a favour and go stand In a corner counting your stocks or something. The important people have a job to do."While the boss was livid, his fear and unease overtook all sense and reasoning. He was more than happy to do as the android suggested, getting as far away from Sensoa as was spatially possible. Saizomaru took the demon up the small set of steps that lead up to the tank's container, the large glass lid having been raised up. A vertical table stood erect with hand and footholds. He placed the injured man against it, helping thread his hands and feet into the holds. "Gonna need you to stand still—no thrashing and no whining," he instructed Sensoa. He reached around the back and grabbed a half-face respirator before strapping it around the demon's mouth. A high amount of oxygen mixed with general anaesthetic pumped into his lungs, slowly causing him to drift off the sleep. "Just relax. Think of it as a nice soothing bath… in green goo." He passed the demon on the shoulder and gave a reassuring smile, then made his way back down the steps. Pommy, meanwhile, had gotten herself her stool to reach the console. The press of a button brought the glass container downward until it was sealed around Sensoa. Another key keystrokes began to tank's process, quickly filling the chamber in green liquid. It quickly reached the demon's knees, then his waist, chest, and head. It only took several moments for the tank to be completely filled. "You okay to keep an eye on him?" the android asked the nurse. "Of course!" she replied. "Great. I'm gonna be working on getting all of the other tanks up and running. We'll see how far we get."

Sensoa's eyes had snapped to the man who yelled, his eyes narrowing as he watched the humans. They were a threat that he did not take kindly to having nearby. The android spoke up however, soon making the situation much less of a problem thanks to the human going to do something else. The demon was relieved to know that human wouldn't be watching over him. Soon he was guided up into the tank before being placed into the pod. His hands and legs being placed into holds, the demon's heart beating more quickly while he felt a ting of fear take root. He was scared of being enslaved again, the idea he was bound freaking the demon out a little on the inside. What if the human's tried to bind him in his sleep? What if he was betrayed while he slumbered? This thoughts all racing through his mind as he felt the object strapped to his face. Apparently it would help him breath while he slept, which was a good thing. His heart rate going up slightly as the pod closed around him, soon beginning to fill with a liquid. The little woman sitting on the stool outside of his pod, his eyes watching her cautiously. Though soon, sleep was taking hold of him. He was already tired, but with the aid of the medicine it was going much quicker. Soon the world about him grew dim, his eyes slowly closing and the green glow on his chest dimming once more. Then it was all black. Barban sat upon the bed, listening to the woman with a smile, but it soon dimmed at her mention of their life. Barban looking down at his own feet as he thought of their life, of how much had changed after coming to the living realm. He heard her mention about the human's forgiving and forgetting in time but he could only understand how they felt now. Barban thought back on their lives as servants of Sensoa's father. The demon named Saigai who brought ruin everywhere he went, his reign was terrible and the destruction he brought was unbelievable. Barban thought back to the day the two demonic babies had been brought to him, twins yet so different from one another. "Our lives... It was pretty rough honestly. When we were given Sensoa and his brother Hakai, they were like our own children. We lost our first born to disease... Not even Hyuki could heal what ailed our child. Her grieving was... difficult to cope with, to keep her from going mad with grief. So when the two boys were brought to me with instructions to teach them, I took it...At the time it was a selfish desire. I wanted to give Hyuki the child she deserved, and I thought if I brought her the two boys she would be satisfied... And she was for a time."Barban's voice trailed off, realizing he was saying some personal stuff but in truth it had weighed on him for some time. "I apologize if this makes you uncomfortable. I do not mean to shove my history into your face. Our lives have been a cake walk compared to Sensoa however. The reason I was hesitant to bring him here wasn't for the fact human's hate us... It was because Sensoa has spent the last twenty years enslaved by mortal kind. I use the word mortal kind because that is what we refer to this realm as where I come from. Humans, namekians, saiyans and so forth. They tortured him, humiliated him and sucked the life force from him to bring their old king to his youth again. He has an immense hatred for their kind inside him and refuses to let it go. I fear the day he is pushed to far without learning to deal with that."Barban's eye returned to Hyuki as he thought back to their exile, how they both abandoned their posts and left. They had told Hakai of their leaving and the brother was understanding. He gave them their exile personally so that they would not be executed for abandoning their jobs. He would not hesitate to do it again and travel the worlds he did to find Sensoa. He had crawled through more dying worlds, and remote locations than he cared to count. He had spent fourteen of the twenty years searching for Sensoa and Barban would not abandon his lord now. He wouldn't let anything happen he could prevent, not this time.

It was a difficult tale for Zoe to listen to. The more Barban spoke about his past, the more it began to weigh heavily on the nurse's heart. She imagined that life for a demon would be chaotic and rife with atrocities and constant strife, but to happen to people are nice as these two was something that was inexcusable. She thought of them more than just demons—they were good people. He hands fidgeted more as the lupine continued. She was beginning to understand Sensoa's discomfort and apprehension from accepting the aid of humans, much less attempting to instil some semblance of trust in them. How was one expected to trust people when they had spent most of their life in such a travesty of a livelihood, especially now that they had found themselves in a place where they were to be shunned and reviled by its people? She didn't know. Not how to feel. Not how to act. Not even how to respond. "It is okay. I understand." It was all she could say. As much as she wanted to comfort him, she didn't know the words that hadn't already been said. Instead she stood up and began to pack away the remaining items that were around the place into the case. There was a slight beeping noise. Zoe reached down to the pager attached to the band of her apron. She hummed before putting it back. "Looks like I am needed somewhere," she said. As much as she didn't want to leave Barban and Kyuki alone, she had her duty to other patients, especially now with how understaffed they were. She placed her hand on the wolf's own, then trailed it to a small button on the side of the bed. "If you ever need anything, just push this," she said softly. She made Barban's finger press it, then came a soft buzzing noise from both a small speaker on the side of the bed and from the nurse's pager. She smiled as she patted his head gently. "Try and get some sleep. I will be back in a few hours with your evening meal."She locked up the case and picked it up before making her way out of the room. For now Sensoa and Kyuki would be left on their own. =*=*=*=*=*=*=*= The hours had rolled by a little too quickly for Saizomaru's liking. Him and the team of engineers had been hard at work trying to get as many of the healing tanks operational with the tools and supplies that they were giving. A total of five of them were up and running completely, but the others weren't ready to be finished just yet. What with some parts taken from them to get the others fixed up, they were going to have to wait for the next day before they could bring in the components needed. The android stood to his feet as he wiped the sweat from his brow. He had just finished getting the remaining components and circuitry installed into the sixth machine. He gave a thumbs up to Saph, who then began to run digital diagnostics on the machine. Everything was clear to go. "We really appreciate the help you've given us today, Sai," praised Emerl. "Just got another eighteen to go tomorrow, but we'll manage.""Hope so," the android replied. "I ain't gonna be around for a while. But I think you'll get this sorted tomorrow. Just gotta install the new parts, right? I did all the hard work for ya."The man chuckled. "Yeah. Good to have a strong arm, I guess."Saizomaru turned to the first tank. Sensoa was in a sleep-like state, looking more content than the android had seen him since they had got here. It was going to take until tomorrow for him to fully heal, but at least he would be like brand new, straight out of the packaging, once he had fully recovered. "I guess I'm off, then. Good job, team." Everyone was ready to shake Saizomaru's hand as he extended it out to them—all except the boss, of course, who was still in the corner of the room checking his notes and invoices. He made his way to the small zoanthrope nurse. "I'm out of here. You'll look after him well for me, won't you?"Pommy smiled. "Of course I will!" she replied with a hearty giggle. "He's my patient now! And I never let any of my own down!"Saizomaru snickered as he pat her little head, making her ears twitch a little and a small grin spread across her black lips. Then, he made his way out of the room the only way her knew how: out of the window.
Sensoa I think this'd be a good point for us to finish things off here. Was a super cool thread. Totally enjoyed myself. Enjoy the XP gains!
