The bright pink haired Earthling walked out onto the battlegrounds of the stadium in North City, the roaring cheers of the crowd now a familiar music to he ears. It had kind of hurt to hear when it first started in the early rounds, but it really wasn't so bad anymore. ...She wasn't going deaf, was she? She assumed not, though even if she did, she could just eat a Senzu Bean or something. Those worked on healing deaf ears, too, right? "Hope you're all having a good time so far!" she announced to the crowd, who cheered and clapped with excitement in response. "I better not keep any of you excited spectators waiting, then! Let's get a look at the competitors who will be fighting in this round!" Polbo turned and gestured up to the giant screen over the stadium, and two images and names quickly appeared.
"Back from the first round, the Majin that kept the rampaging Oozaru from doing any harm - and by the way, we have protective glass keeping you all safe now - the white Majin, Bloom!" The grateful audience cheered for the Majin, though Polbo quickly continued, "And up against her, is the Arcosian who, impressively, actually knows how to build up their power over a fight! Give it up for the rare sight, indeed: Shiver!" As the audience cheered, Polbo gave them one last wave before making her way off of the battlefield and over off to the side. This looked to be an exciting match!

Bloom stepped onto the fighting stage for the second time, taking a deep breath. Last time that she’d been here, her best friend decided to kill her. Still, she wasn’t gonna let that get in the way of pressing on through the tournament. She had come here to win. She looked over to the arcosian that stepped up onto the stage. They looked familiar. Ah. Right. They’d been there the last time Kon had gone ape shit. From what she remembered, this arcosian - and arcosians in general - were stupid powerful. She’d almost been killed by one back in Satan City. “Yo…” Bloom gave a little wave to Shiver, shifting from one foot to the other. If she was gonna have any chance at making it through this round, she had to be crafty. Bloom managed a smile though she wasn’t really feeling one. “Show me whatcha got…Shiver...right…?” Hopefully, Shiver wouldn’t blast her with full force. Polbo seemed to indicate that Shiver wouldn’t just up and incinerate her on the spot. So Bloom had a little bit of hope. She took up a fighting stance and waited for Shiver to make the first move. She needed to see what her opponent was gonna throw at her.

Shiver waved to the crowd timidly as she stepped up, cringing a little at the resounding cheers. Most of them were probably for the other contestant, the one who'd saved them earlier, but the amount of attention was still making her uncomfortable. So many people, she hadn't really expected martial arts would be so popular here, especially after that match with the Saiyan. There was the new protective glass of course, Shiver was currently looking right at it. But she didn't really place any stock in it, not with the scope of the powers this arena had seen so far. Hopefully they wouldn't have to worry about that though, Shiver certainly had no plans to attack the audience.
She took a deep breath, then several more, before finally stepping onto the ring proper. Honestly, she could hardly believe she was here fighting again, that she'd won her first match. It certainly hadn't felt like winning whilst spitting dirt out of her mouth, a taste that remained still. She looked across towards her pale colored opponent, nodding in response to the greeting. She'd met another Majin before, that encounter was pretty firmly fixed in her mind. The way she'd eaten basically an entire warehouse of food and then some not food as well, had been very riveting. In this circumstance however, Shiver was remembering the pink girl's regeneration abilities. That was going to be a pain to deal with here. Now that she looked however, this Majin looked familiar as well, had they met somewhere?
Shiver frowned slightly as she looked at the other fighter, trying to remember if they'd met before. After a moments considerations she shrugged her slender shoulders, the answer escaping her. She could figure it out later, for now she had to focus on the fight. With a slight rush of air, her silver aura ignited around her as she powered up to her current max. She was in her suppressed form still, in all its tiny glory. It had been enough for her previous match, and judging by what she was sensing, it would be more than enough here. Looking across to her foe, she smiled lightly and shrugged once more as she spoke. "Yeah, I'll try my best not to disappoint you." Without another word, Shiver leapt right into action, launching herself at the Majin. Halfway there, she would fire a ki blast at the ground, the explosion generating a brief cloud of dust in front of her. Shiver would then burst out of it suddenly, homing in on Bloom's presence to throw a right handed haymaker at her head.

Bloom laughed nervously when Shiver said she’d try her best. She could stand to disappoint Bloom a little. Pretty please? Bloom shook herself out of it. She’d faced scarier and stronger people than Shiver. She could handle this. Probably. Even if she couldn’t, at least Shiver probably wouldn’t try to outright murder her. So that was something. Immediately, Shiver launches herself at Bloom. Okay. Bloom cracked a smile when she fired a ki blast at the ground to create a smokescreen. Hey! She had done that before. She tended to aim for the head...so… Bloom ducked just as Shiver burst through the cloud to swipe at where her head had just been. “Nope.”Bolstering herself up to her true strength, Bloom sent a swift and sharp punch right to Shiver’s stomach. Body blows like that could stun at least for a little. Maybe she’d have a chance to grab that tail and swing her around by it. That’d be fun. Of course, this was a fight to the finish. No ring outs. So maybe she’d try something a little nastier. Blows to the back of the neck were rough right? Or maybe Bloom could suplex her head into the stadium. That’d be funny actually. But...more likely, she’d get turfed as soon as the ki blasts started flying. Arcosians were strong and she could tell this one wasn’t at full strength yet. But even this form was a lot for Bloom to handle. Nothing she couldn’t deal with but still. It was gonna hurt if Shiver powered up some more.

Shiver hissed in annoyance as her fist wooshed over the pale Majin's head by a narrow margin. That hiss turned into a gasp when the returning shot smashed into her stomach, and Shiver spat up a hunk of spit. What? That punch had really hurt! More than she'd expected, and Blooms suddenly energy seemed stronger too actually. Shiver resisted the urge to stagger back and continue gasping as best she could. No, she needed to act immediately before the Majin took advantage, and even doubled over she was far from helpless. Her clenched fist, the one she'd thrown her ill planed punched with, opened once again as Shiver shoved ki through it. Pointing her open hand at her opponent, Shiver started unleashed several sprays of hastily made ki blasts. The silver spheres were poorly aimed and weaker than tepid water, but they were just a stalling measure as Shiver focused ki into her other hand. Hopefully the point blank range and sheer number would be enough to ensure their success however, even if they did next to no damage. She just to needed to buy herself a few precious moments. Bringing her other hand to bear, now glowing brightly with the strength within, Shiver finally stopped her silver spray. And in place of it, she unleashed her trademarked bright wave, a silver beam ripping forth from her other palm. Immediately after unleashing it, Shiver would hop into the air, ascending as she watched the ensuing smoke. Maybe she should just stick to ranged combat, after that ridiculous backfire of a first attempt. And had Bloom been hiding her power somehow? Shiver really had to learn how that trick was done. Bloom grinned devilishly as her fist connected with Shiver’s gut. Nice! As she moved in to press the advantage, a hand flew into her face, firing a barrage of ki blasts. Bloom jumped back, shielding her face with an arm. These little blasts didn’t actually feel like too much. Just little singes on her gummy skin. Bloom kept her eyes on Shiver as she brought up her other hand, eyes widening a bit as she sensed the power within the attack. Now they were getting somewhere, huh? As the bright wave shot out at her, Bloom chuckled to herself nervously. Time to give that technique a go. She held out both hands to catch the wave, a shimmering pink layer of ki on her skin. As it connected, Bloom wrapped her hands around Shiver’s attack and forced it with both hands into a little ball, crackling with silver and pink ki. Her ki sense told her right where Shiver had gone. Looking up even though she couldn’t see through the cloud of ki, Bloom fired off her counter attack right for Shiver. Let’s see how she liked a taste of her own ki! Hah! “Kikiki…Reflecting Shell...!”
Bloom retaliated with [V2] Reflecting Shell with 33% of defensive PL. 24,000 PL - 9,900 PL = 14,100 PL incoming damage at Shiver!

Where was the kaboom? There was supposed to be a Majin burning kaboom! Shiver flicked her gaze downward, jaw dropping at the sight she found waiting for her. Her bright wave was being compacted in the Majin's grip, forming into a shimmering ball of pink and silver. And then that ball was launched upwards right at her, filling her vision as Shiver's senses screamed a warning about the power packed within it. She had just enough time to cross her hands in front before it was upon her, counting on her species durability to see her through. This was still going to hurt though, and she gritted her teeth as the ball detonated in a shining flash of light. When it faded a few moments later, Shiver was left scorched and gasping. Burns marred various patches of her porcelain skin, particularly her forearms, but she wasn't seriously injured at least. She WAS rather annoyed though, particularly as she'd just had her OWN attack launched back at her. Hissing as air touched her singed skin she looked up, glared, and then immediately started into another powerful attack. Hovering above with both her hands glowing silver this time, she smashed them together in front of her, meshing the two bright waves together. She'd show this Majin, she just needed to push it a little further! The hot power glowed between her palms, begging to be free, and she let it go gladly. From her hands erupted another bright silver beam, more than twice the size of the previous attack and aimed down at the pale Bloom. "Bright Cannon!" First Form PL 30,000

Hell yeah! Bloom smiled as her blast hit its mark. That felt so good to pull off. Took a lot out of her though. The lizard - er, Shiver - started up back again on the offensive, putting her power into another pretty rough looking attack. She really didn’t have it in her to counter like that again right now, so Bloom just stood there as the attack blasted through her torso. A huge plume of smoke rose up as the attack erupted in a fiery explosion. Taking the chance even with a giant smoldering hole in her chest, Bloom lowered her power level down to practically zero and darted through the smoke. Once she was behind Shiver’s ki signature in the smoke, Bloom kicked off the stadium and shot into the sky behind Shiver with her hands knitted together. A wicked smile plastered itself across her face even with a giant hole in her chest. She brought her hands down on that shiny gem, wondering vaguely if she could crack it open and crush what was inside. Would it be gooey or crunchy? Oh, she just had to find out. Her power level shot up to its full strength the instant before she struck. “Nice try...!”
Bloom takes the full brunt of Bright Cannon for 27.5% in damage!

Yes! That one had hit, she was sure of it. She had watched it impact Bloom with her own eyes! The ensuing explosion and smoke made visual confirmation after the fact a bit difficult of course, but Shiver could sense energy. And she could sense how the Majin's power level dropped to almost nothing after the blast. It had dropped a little too quickly though, which made Shiver suspicious, scanning the smoke intently. Her bright cannon was strong yes, but she hadn't thought it was that powerful. Her caution turned out to be warranted, as Blooms power level suddenly resurfaced as strong as ever, right behind her! There was no time to turn, and Shiver was hapless as a powerful impact smashed into her head, pain exploding through her. And then she was hurtling downward, stunned and blinking at the ring floor that rushed up to meet her. Her small form plowed deep into the earth, at least several meters underground, spewing the glass barrier with rocks and tile. Below ground, Shiver finally regained control of her movements, blinking the stars out of her eyes and spitting out a mouthful of dirt. Ok, so this wasn't going well, not in any sense of the word. One of her stronger attacks hadn't even seemed to do all that much damage. It was definitely time to take this fight up a few notches. Clenching her fists, Shiver snarled in pain as a white light overtook her body, and her form began to stretch. Kais above it hurt, something that didn't change no matter how she trained herself. At least it was quick though, the process taking only mere moments before the light faded. With a roar, Shiver put her new power to work, a shockwave blasting the surrounding earth away as she pushed herself to the surface. Erupting back into the light she looked like a new Arcosian, nearly 7 feet tall with a thick hulking figure that greatly contrasted the slightness of her first form. Looking about, she would charge right at the Majin the moment she saw her. Time to try this again. Shiver Transforms!

This was...a little disappointing. Bloom had expected more from Shiver. She was like that black armored one that she’d fought in Satan City, right? The one that she thought was going to kill her. And maybe possibly killed her rescuer. She hadn’t seen the blue demon boy around lately. She floated in midair as the hole in her body filled and reformed. The thrill wasn’t quite there. Before she could get too put out by the way the fight was going, the Shiver sized hole started to glow with a silver light. Bloom looked on, dropping down to the stage proper. Shiver had something up her sleeve it seemed. Her power level did shoot up a crazy amount. Bloom smiled a crooked smile. Well, maybe she had thought too soon. Looked like things were about to get interesting. Shiver burst out of the ground. Bloom shielded herself from the debris only to get charged at by a hulking Shiver. Someone had beefed up! Bloom formed a pink ball of ki in one hand and threw it at Shiver to stop the charge, jumping back as she did. “Whoa… You seem a little cranky… Why don’t you go back to taking a dirt nap…?”
Bloom uses [N1] Majin Ball for 8,000 PL of damage!

Shiver's eyes widened as she sensed the surge in power, watching the pink ball of energy form up before her. An instant later it was hurtling right at her, an attempt to stall her. A serious attempt too, that little pink blast would hurt for sure. She almost balked at the sight, thought about meeting it with her own blast or dodging aside. But she wasn't feeling that right now, not in the slightest, and the Majins words hadn't helped. Honestly Shiver was feeling uncharacteristically heated. So she gritted her teeth, crossed her arms in front, and met the blast head on. It detonated into a painful searing light, one that aggravated her earlier injures. But once again she'd escaped any truly critical damage, or any reduction in her momentum. Shiver came barreling out the ensuing smoke at top speed, narrowing in on Blooms ki signature. Flaring her sliver aura for a little bit more oomph, Shiver would transition into a literal flying knee at the last moment, aiming to plant the thick limb into her foes gut. Her arms also splayed out as she switched, Shiver would use them to attempt to grab bloowhether she missed or hit her attack. At the very least, it would help if the other alien managed to doge. If she got the girl in her grasp, she would fold her powerful limbs against her in a hug, and start to squeeze. Did Majin's have bones? Would such an attempt even mean anything? Shiver was about to find out. More importantly however, maybe she'd be able to actually keep the Majin close to her, avoid any of the earlier nonsense. Like that ki disappearing trick, it wouldn't work if she could just see her opponent! Majin Bloom Shiver takes 13% damage

Maybe she should stop talking. Bloom could only think that on repeat as Shiver just barreled through her ki blast like a raging bull. This was gonna suck. A flying knee came at her and smacked into her torso hard. Bloom grunted in pain and doubled over. The next thing Bloom knew, she was being squeezed. It was incredibly painful and unpleasant. She could feel something popping inside of her. If this kept up, Bloom was gonna be squeezed in two. Not that it was fatal or anything, but it wasn’t super cozy. Bloom had liquified parts of her body before, but she’d never really done the whole thing. Well. Except for that one time that she’d gone crazy. Would it happen again if she did it? Well, that was kind of a stupid worry and not something she should be thinking about right now. Bloom tried to relax her body even though it was being crushed by this crazy beefy lizard. A moment of pain passed before… “W-Whoa…!”Bloom’s torso toppled forward as Shiver’s arms squished her body. She had done it! But...not really well. She’d have to work on that. Pulling herself back together, Bloom dashed at Shiver on the offensive. Only to realize that she had put her legs back on backwards as she sailed toward the tournament wall. Bloom slammed into the protective glass with a really perplexed look on her face. “Whoops…”This actually elicited a few chuckles from the crowd. Bloom screwed her legs on the right way around. Being against the wall here could be an advantage though. Maybe Shiver would be hesitant to fire anything powerful at her while she was near it. Bloom honestly didn’t know how good this glass was. She had splattered on it pretty good. Little pink balls of ki formed in her hands as her power level started to lower. This trick seemed to work pretty well against her, but it wouldn’t work forever. She had to figure something out. Bloom lobbed a barrage of little ki blasts all over the stage to create a huge smokescreen. An idea hit her. That could work! Bloom dashed into the smoke to hurry and set it up.

Shiver blinked in semi shock as the pale alien literally squished out of her arms and fell to the stage. One moment she'd been steadily squeezing away, feeling resistance and an odd popping sensation mind you, and then just...nothing. For a moment she feared she'd actually killed her opponent, which was definitely against the rules. Thankfully Bloom reformed right in front of her eyes, and then proceeded to...run into the protective glass. She spotted the problem a moment later, watching as the Majin literally screwed her legs on correctly, as they'd apparently been on backwards before. These pink creatures really were bizzare, and their magic was so powerful too. To just shrug off being halved like that? Never mind the earlier hole she'd put in her. Too late Shiver realized that had been a prime opportunity to strike, so captivated by what she was witnessing. By the time she reached that realization, Bloom was already in action, forming balls of ki in her hands. Her power level was dropping again, just like before, and Shiver immediately started forming an attack. It was too late once again however, smoke already covering the arena floor. Shiver twisted back and forth in the air, frantically scanning for something to target with both her eyes and mind. She found nothing, nothing substantial enough to actually fire at least. Shiver scowled, and then extended both hands anyway, energy glowing in her palms. Fine then, she'd just start blasting every bit of the ring until she scored a hit. She released the power she'd gathered, spraying ki blasts down onto the smoke obscured ring like silver rain. She'd fire at every corner of the ring in that same manner, all the while carefully watching her back. She wasn't going to get hit from behind again like before, and she was just waiting for her opponent to try that trick again. Second Form PL 60,000
