In the peaceful Mountain of Paozu, the clang of metal would cause the birds to flutter into the sky. The animals all on alert as they stared to the top of a particular ridge, the clang of metal coming from there. The battle taking place were two swordsman standing off, their blades pointed at each other. Barban stood in a traditional stance, Sensoa with his blade pointed forward with his right leg extended outwards in an Odachi stance. Barban stared the demon down, the two currently at a stand still while they waited for the others move. After a brief pause the two would dash at one another with lightning speeds, almost instantly appearing behind the other with their blades in different positions after a slash. A bloody slash appearing on Sensoa's chest which splattered on the ground before he turned to face Barban once more. The butler demon would swing his blade to throw the blood from his blade to the ground, the green blood a stark contrast to the brown earth. He kept his eye on the large demon, his stance more lax but any good swordsman knew it was a bait for a counter. Slowly the two would circle one another, Barban walking slowly while Sensoa walked while in stance. Sensoa was faster, stronger but the problem was he didn't have the skill to outright beat his opponent. The Lupine's eye was glowing with a golden after trail, the butler currently using a his second seal to keep up with Sensoa. While the butler was weaker, he was a damn good sword master, one that made Sensoa look like a child. Even after one hundred and sixty years, Sensoa was not able to best Barban on even grounds with a sword. Barban was known as the Blood Hound of the Ghoun estate and for good reason. His blade had drawn the blood of countless demons, and there was a reason Sensoa along with his brother having followed Barban's authority. They both came to a stop abruptly, before rushing in to clash blades once more, Sensoa defending from a left slash. It was also embarrassing to note that Barban was using one hand to swing his blade, just to add salt to the wound. On that note however, the Lupine would raise his hand in a fluid motion, pushing Sensoa's blade upwards by placing his hand on the bottom of the hilt. From there with his blade raised, the Lupine demon would pull his blade back before thrusting it forward, narrowly missing in an attempt to Impale Sensoa on his blade. The Lupine demon had made it perfectly clear that their training would cause injuries if Sensoa did not take it seriously. He did not go back on his word, that much was for certain. Now at a suitable distance, Sensoa got back into his stance, his blade pointed toward Barban. The Lupine demon simply lowered his blade from its failed attempt at stabbing Sensoa, golden eye watching carefully. After a brief pause the Butler would get back into a kendo stance, traditional but leaving not many openings but his legs. To which Sensoa knew better, if he didn't want to get a kick to the face he had better stay clear of low swings. The two did a stand off once more, staring each other down. After a brief pause once more, the two would exchange blades at a fast pace once more. Their blades clanging off it each other in rapid succession. It was when Sensoa went for a vertical swing that Barban side stepped and swing horizonal to try to cleave Sensoa's head from his shoulders. Sensoa was just fast enough to avoid the blade, the sword cutting him across the cheek. Sensoa's heart was beating fast, a bit of adrenaline rushing through his veins at that one. Had he been slower, he wouldn't be thinking much right about now. Sensoa was ready to go for more when Barban sheathed his sword and his aura died down. "You need work... You've grown sloppy. Twenty years of sloppy. Its a pathetic excuse of sword play. If you say this Kayen beat you I understand why. You make to many mistakes, leaving youself open to counters left and right."Barban's words were harsh, rough enough to cower the brute Sensoa at least. He felt his pride stung at his mentor's words, but knew it was true. He sighed heavily as he let his blade disappear from his hands, looking at the ground like a defeated child. "We will work on the basics more later... for now lets clean your sorry excuse of a hide up."Barban walked over, pulling a clean cloth from his pocket as Sensoa plopped down onto the ground and grunted in annoyance. Hyuki had been watching in the shade nearby, staring at the two but keeping watch as they trained. She wasn't surprised Sensoa had got utterly trounced, her husband was a monster with a sword. At least Sensoa walked away with only scratches this time, normally Barban went for the eyes. He was a ruthless teacher but thats why she loved him so much. He had a heart of gold, but if he got serious he was a real beast, which she adored both sides. Sensoa on the other hand was looking like a kicked puppy, his head lifted to the side so Barban could address the wound on his cheek and then the one on his chest. Within a few more minutes the demon would be stitched up good as new.

It was a relatively quiet day atop the mountain that Alia had secretly called her home for quite some time. It was less so when she first arrived. Drawing the ire of the local wildlife and indigenous people of the land. Ever since she had to spend a few years eating humans to prove a point. Alia was left alone mostly with the exception of a few curious children who visit her little cottage. They'd even given her the nickname of the 'Lilac Witch of the woods' because of her skin tone. It was rather amusing for her.
Much like any other day, Alia would make her way through the forest. Gathering the plants she required to soothe her illness for the day as she often needed. The tranquility of nature bringing peace to her wrathful soul in the strangest way. Everything had it's place in the harmony of the forest. The wind, the rustle of leaves, and the sounds of song birds brought a smile to her face before she would realize it. It reminded her of the whispering woods if her own homeland. That was until a sharp, familiar ringing resonated throughout the trees. The clashing of metal. It disturbed the serenity of the area as it caused birds and other small creatures to flee in surprise.
Alia would stand proper with her basket in hand as her ears wiggled in the direction of the sound. Her instincts telling her to stay away from the cause but her mischievous nature pulled her towards it nonetheless. As she approached, her skin would tingle and her magically cloaked wings would flutter behind her. It was a sign that something dangerous was up ahead. There were two strong sources of energy and a third she wasn't quite sure of from what she was deduce from the tingles. She would take her place in a hidden position far enough away to stay out of eye sight. The sight before her was of two demonfolk having a bit of a spat. For what reason was something to yet be determined. However, it's not like it was any business of her own. At least she now knew what was causing all the ruckus. They would have to be avoided if she were to maintain her lively hood. There weren't many reasons she could come up with as to why they would be there. The first was her sister sent assassins to finish the job she couldn't but why risk it?
The woman would just shake her head and back away from the fighting to continue on her way. It was getting close to her tea time and she had a lot more herbs to collect before then.

Sensoa had finished being stitched up, the demon looking around the horizon as he thought of what he could be doing. It was then that a sudden ki signature caught his attention, one he had not felt until he was now focusing on his surroundings. Slowly the demon stood up, noticing it was now getting further away. A smile crossed the demon's face as he wondered if it was another fighter, but better yet that it was another demon. Sensoa took a step forward before suddenly disappearing with enough force to cause the rocks at his feet to shatter. The ground splintering into shards in the direction of the power source. Sensoa was face, immediately upon the individual or to be more exact he was right behind her. It was a woman, a single horn looking to be broken off and wearing elegant clothing. Sensoa simply reaching out to try to grasp her by the scuff of her shirt, hoping to lift her up so she could not get away.
"Oi you are a demon."
Sensoa's voice was full of curiosity as he looked the woman up and down, but seemed to be disappointed by what he saw. She didn't look like a fighter at all, more like some little princess or some such. The demon giving a growl of frustration at his find, having hoped to find someone worth a good fight but he supposed her ki should have given that away. She was a weakling, at least compared to Sensoa that is which made it even more disappointing to him. It was then Barban would come through the woods quickly as well in hopes of seeing what was going on.

Alia rummaged through the leaves, roots, and buds in her basket to make sure she'd acquired everything she would need to make her remedy. With this much she shouldn't have to leave her home for the next few days. If there were demon sell swords about the mountain then she would have to do her best to not be in the open. Her finger tip would glow with a burgundy light as she prepared to change her clothes. Just before the spell could be cast, a loud boom would resonate behind her with a strong gust of wind. The tingle rippling through her body almost instantly as her instincts screamed for her to move. Unfortunately, she found herself being hoisted into the air in a quite uncomfortable fashion.
The oafish sound of the man's voice was grating on her ears. Perhaps it was because of how close she was to the origin of the noise. She was slowly descending into a state of panic but tried to keep her composure. “A demon? I'm hardly just that, my oafish new friend.” She spat out with venom despite her compromised state. “I guess that means you were sent here to finish me off then? I don't see the need to spend perfectly good money on a hit man for an exile. Laias must be pretty paranoid then.” She would huff out and fold her arms.
“Very well, If you must. I can take pride in dying a better death than slowly wasting away.” She just hung in his grip with a severely aggravated pout. It didn't take much for her to realize she was out powered and outnumbered with his friends pulling up at the rear. “Oh, goody. An audience. Come to take care of me all at once have you?”

Sensoa wasn't sure what to make of this demon, seeming to grow feisty the moment her mouth opened. The Large demon holding her outwards like he was holding a snake at this point. Sensoa thought he was bad with people, this woman was clearly in the running for worst social creature yet. Barban could only raise a brow before taking hold of Sensoa's arm to gesture for him to release her, which he did unceremoniously. Once he let go Sensoa gave a chuckle at the demonic woman, as he realized she was an exile like they were. It was then that Barban took a step up and decided to break the ice here.
"Er No madam. We are not here to hurt you. My lord seems to have mistook you for someone else."
"I thought she was a fighter... I was clearly wrong. She is pitifully weak."
Barban would give Sensoa a cold glare before he held out his hand to the other demon.
"My name is Barban. I apologize for Sensoa's behavior. He tends to act before he thinks. We have no intentions of hurting you and are not hired by anyone. So please, allow us to start over with proper introductions."
Barban then took a bow, graceful as a butler who had practiced his boy hundreds of thousands of times. Once he finished the bow Barban would look to Sensoa who was currently picking at his teeth on his shoulder. He clearly didn't care to introduce himself to the woman, and had lost interest in her. The Lupine demon simply sighed heavily as he turned to the woman with a smile.
"So why are you out here miss?"

The demoness continued to glare at the much bigger demon despite her acceptance to her new fate. Even when he held her well out of her ability to do much to him. The second man would tap his partner before she was effectively dumped to the ground. She would let out a surprised yip before landing square on her bottom. Alia certainly wasn't expecting him to let her go, much less like a dirty article of clothing. She would grumble rather loudly as she rubbed at her lower back when the well dressed one stepped over to offer a hand. There was pause, naturally, but if he wanted to harm her. What reason was there to offer up such a farce of kindness?
Reluctantly still, she would take his hand to get back to her feet. Not without another sharp stare at the much more brutish fellow she now knew as Sensoa. Alia's small wings would reveal themselves flapping angrily to blow the dust away from her lower half. They would shimmer for a moment before seemingly vanishing again. She now felt a bit more attentive as Barban properly gave introduction. His mannerisms reminding her own her Jeeves.
“You can just call me Lilia, for now. As for the reason I am out here. Your guess is honestly as good as mine. In the simplest terms, I just wasn't welcomed in my own home anymore.” She would shrug slightly. “They assumed I would just die here but it didn't seem to stick to me.”
