As usual, the Diablo Desert was a dusty heat forsaken hfil-hole, with nary a cloud on the horizon and the sun high in the sky. During this time most lifeforms were smart enough to stay out of the heat, hidden in their burrows and hidey holes like responsible critters. Not everyone was so smart however, like the porcelain figure currently hovering high up in the sky, darting about with quick efficient motions. Shiver gasped as she came to a stop, her silver aura fading away as she stopped exerting herself. Yeah okay maybe this hadn't been the smartest idea she'd ever come up with it. She'd just wanted to get some training done, and apparently stressful environments were better. This was just insane though, it felt like the sun was roasting her alive, and her throat was parched beyond belief. Also, she'd come here in part to maybe find some actual opponents to practice on, she'd found a small WTF foothold last time after all. And that hadn't panned out in the slightest, not yet at least, not that she'd expected much. Like really, with how Shiver's power had grown in her time on Earth a few grunts or lowly bandits just wouldn't cut it anymore. So, in leu of not having any actual targets to work with, Shiver had decided to devote the day to simple control. And that was why she was almost 7 feet tall and far beefier than normal, her brute form. All in all, it seemed to be the form she was in the least, the power increase usually insufficient if she needed to leave her first form. When she was in it, the size difference always threw her off a bit too and she ended looking like a clumsy idiot when she inevitably bonked her head. Fighting was harder as well when she kept underestimating the length of her own arms and legs. Thankfully, a few hours of effort had done wonders for that and she was feeling marginally more coordinated. Or so she felt, only an actual battle would tell for sure. She was also feeling sunbaked and thirsty, hungry, and generally miserable. Shiver wiped sweat from her brow, glaring up at the sun before descending back to Earth. Wordlessly she touched down and immediately started walking over to rocky outcropping, beneath which sat a small leather bag. Opening it up, her pale hand pulled out a huge water bottle which she immediately started gulping from. It wasn't the coldest anymore, or cold at all really, but it still tasted like heaven. Setting the container down, she rummaged within the bag to grab a pack of crackers. Positioning her bulk in the meager shade as best she could, Shiver started munching them down, gagging as they sapped moisture from her mouth. Second Form PL 68,000 Mollusc

Mollusc walked through the desert wiping a brow of sweat from his forehead. This was really a pain in the ass. He didn't like traveling in this land. It was too hot. He was going to have to chug water almost every few minutes. He'd grab a bottle from his bag as he lifted it and drunk it down. He'd wipe his mouth trying to get every single drop of water. He was here to train, get stronger. He was going to need it to fight the Saiyan Kingdom. Yet, he was unsure if it was worth it with this torture. He was dried up, like a =dried up fruit. He'd go for another bottle of water. He was running out but he needed it. He didn't want to end up dead. He'd chug it down as he felt his body recuperating feeling regenerated. Slowly he knew however he'd tried agian and eventually he'd have to lead this place.
As he was trying to figure this out he'd turn his head as he saw someone. He saw an Aroscian in the distance. Someone else was here but for what purpose. He decided to slowly walk over and check out why the arosican was here. He'd paced over drinking down another bottle of water. "What you're doing around here," Mollusc said as he rolled his shoulders. Hopefully, it was not for a bad reason. He knew the Aroscians usually lead the Wtf but he did not want to assume something of people. That would not be for the best. You didn't want to judge people.

The sudden voice nearly made her drop her cracker, Shiver bolting to her feet in a rush. Doing so smashed her head into the rock she'd been sitting under, sending cascades of rubble and sand down her back as her horns pulverized the stone. Shiver gasped and shook herself at the sudden itchy sensation, watching as dirt trickled into her water bottle. She growled, pulling herself free and straightening, capping her water bottle as she finally managed to look up. Her eyes widened as she found a big Namekian approaching on foot, still advancing. He had darker green skin then she'd seen on most Namekians, and huge power as well. She was stronger than him still, but not by much, and she was in her second form! A scowl crossed her face, Shiver having to fight back her annoyance at herself, she couldn't afford to keep making these mistakes. It was too late now though, she just had to deal with the aftermath. Shiver stood up straight and faced the green man, squaring her shoulders as she prepared for a possible fight. No doubt he was thinking she was connected with the WTF, and probably preparing to attack if she was. Normally she would've responded with soothing words and a welcoming gesture, it was just the kind of person she was. Honestly though, Shiver was getting a little sick of it. She was hot, thirsty, tired, her head hurt, and now this Namekian hadn't even had the decency to say hello. She wasn't hurting anyone or doing anything wrong, and now there was DIRT in her only water jug. So her reply was a little....spiteful this time around "I'm doing whatever I want," She told him, an undercurrent of anger obvious in her voice. "And what I want is none of your business. Now, if you don't mind, I was trying to eat here, so beat it." She scooped up her pack of crackers once again, munching away right in front of him. Second Form PL 68,000 Mollusc

Guess she didn't like him coming up. She didn't say what she was doing and made it clear it was none of his business. Course the weather didn't help this at all. Now he was in an even more of a sour mood. Mollusc sighed, this was going to a pain in the ass. "I'll start over." He'd decided to play it cool. Peaceful interaction and then forceful interaction if need be. "I just wanted to know what you're doing here. I'm training personally. I am Mollusc." He said bowing his head before he went for another water bottle. Then he realized he was out. He'd frown. "Dammit, i'm out of the water." He'd rub his head. Why did he have to drink so much? This heat was draining all the energy from him and his patience. Hopefully, they are able to talk this out and he can just move on.

Something in the green man's sigh made Shiver pull up short, if only a little. It was the look of a stressed and pissed off being, one that was having an annoying day that kept stacking annoyances on top of annoyances. Shiver's frown detracted a bit and her glare softened, maybe that had been too harsh of a start. This sentiment grew slightly when the Namekian seemed to realize his error and "start over," even introducing himself this time around. He bowed his tentacled head too, a gesture that made Shiver a little uncomfortable about her earlier remarks. Even the way her reached for a...apparently lacking water bottle was all too familiar. Ok, so maybe she HAD been a little too hostile earlier. Mirroring his sigh with one of her own, Shiver looked down for a moment, at her own half full water jug. I mean sure, it had dirt in it now, and that ticked her off to no end. But it was still a big jug of liquid, more than enough for her to share. After a moments consideration, she reached down with her tail, curling it about the aqua container. "Here," She said, hoisting it up so he could see. "Its got some dirt in it, and its not the coldest, but you can have a drink it you want." With a flick of her tail, she'd toss it over to the Namekian in a gentle arc. It was an apology of sorts, kinda, but it was the only one she was willing to give at this point. Shiver crossed her arms and looked away and then back at Mollusc. Since he was playing nice now, and she was trying to be nice again, she should probably answer. Her words were curt, clipped, but no longer so obviously acidic in their tone. "I'm Shiver, and I was out here training too. Thought the desert would be a good place but...turns out it sucks huh." She shrugged her burly shoulders before continuing to speak, stepping forward to hold out a hand for her water bottle's return. "And before you ask, no, I'm NOT with the WTF."

As he sat The aroscian used her tail to throw him something. He'd catch it looking at the half-full water jug. He'd look at it as she said he could drink some. He'd wipe the sweat from his head. "As much as I want some it is your water." He'd hand it back. He'd be able to handle it for a bit. At least it as a sign of peace between them. She was named Shiver. She had the same reasons to be out her as he did. "It is not that bad. It is tiring. I can't handle it being a Namekian I dry up very fast." Mollusc explained. Then she made clear she was not apart of the WTF. "Didn't assume you were," Mollusc said. "Even if you were I don't care. The WTF is not my biggest concern." He'd say calmly to Shiver crossing his arms over his chest.

Shiver shrugged as she received the water bottle back. If he didn't want to drink then that was fine, more for her. And boy was she going to need that more, what with the sun still cheerily burning down on them. She had to resist the urge to scoff at his response to her last line though. Didn't assume? Pfft, everyone assumed at least a little, usually right upon laying eyes on her. Heck, she'd walked into bars with people not knowing what an Arcosian looked like, only for them to freak the moment they realized she was one anyway. As for the WTF not being his biggest concern, yeah she could understand that much. Honestly most of the WTF were weak fodder, especially with the power she sensed Mollusc had. His power though, that gave her an idea. She was hesitant to ask, extremely, considering their...rough meeting, but it held merit. She HAD been wanting a more concrete test of her abilities, and he was strong enough to oblige. He was also here training, and it would benefit the both of them probably. Shiver stood there for a minute, just considering it before shrugging her shoulders. Not like it could hurt anything. "You said you were out here training," She started, looking away slightly as she spoke. "Well my training hasn't been the greatest out here, not alone. And I haven't had a decent fight in a while." Her tail pounded on the dirt slightly in irritation, the awkwardness of the moment getting to her. "How would you feel about a spar? Your pretty strong, and I need a chance to test myself. it would probably benefit your training too a little?" Second Form PL: 68,000 Mollusc

Shiver asked if he had been asked training. Did she not hear he had said before? Guess he'd say it agian. "Yes, i'm out training," Mollusc said. She explained she had not really had good training going on the desert. He had to agree with that. More they had in common. She also noted she had not had a good fight in a while. She asked if he wanted to spar. He'd shrug, "Alright I got nothing better to do. I'm happy to spar with you." He'd said as he backed up a bit. He'd get into a fighting stance looking over at Shiver. He was going to let her attack first of course. Afterall she was the one who wanted to spar. "I'll let you take the first strike." He called out just so she'd know. Didn't want to just stand there because neither of them had an idea who should be going first.

To her surprise, the Namekian actually agreed to the spar! Well, maybe she wasn't surprised, doing so would benefit them both after all. Shiver wrapped her water and other things in her tail again, lifting them up to toss them all a safe distance away. She was going to need that water when this was over, and she didn't need it to be popped in the ensuing chaos of their battle. She watched as Mollusc took a ready stance, and then slowly took on herself. She rolled her great horned head briefly, and then her shoulders, releasing the last vestiges of stiffness. Then, with a deep breath, she called her power to the surface. PHOOM, a silver aura leapt to live around her, growing more intense by the second before reaching its apex. Her muscles swelled with it, until she was at the limit of her second forms power and ready to fight. "I hope you don't mind," She called out to the green figure, already eyeing where to strike. "I'm going to take this seriously." That done, Shiver's face locked into a tight glare, concentration taking over. He was going to let her strike first, but that meant he was also ready and waiting for her too. Her eyes narrowed, tail whipping about behind her, this needed to be done right then. For a moment there was a silent stillness in the air, and then Shiver charged. In a flash she covered the distance between them, feet pounding holes into the Earth as she ran. Coming at him from the front, she slammed her first forward at his sternum. This was no wild haymaker, she wasn't making that particular mistake again. It was a pure focused thrust with her fist, utilizing the momentum her huge second form held. Her other hand was ready and waiting by her side, ready to react and her eyes were keenly watching. There was a reaction coming, of that she was certain. Second Form Pl 68,000 Mollusc

She made it very clear this was not going to a spar to take lightly. She was going to throw whatever she had at him. Mollusc stood keeping his stance up. He'd didn't want to make any mistakes. He needed to study his foe carefully. He didn't know how strong she was. His feet sank down into the stand slightly. It was a long wait but then the tension was broken. Shiver had charged forward. She was fast, he could tell that much. Instead of being a few yards back she was up in attack range. As she attacked she'd raise both arms into a guarding position. He'd block the attack as he felts his arms jet back. She was strong! Far stronger then he thought she was.
Mollusc body reacted his legs planting into the dirt before they kicked back releasing the sand up. That may blindly Shiver though that was not his intention. He got a feeling of how powerful she was. His arms felt numb. If she had continued the barrage he doubted he'd of held up. Yet she threw one punch and with the time to react, he could barely defend himself. His arms dropped down as he got back into stance. One arm forward and the other closer to his body. One for offensive use and one for defensive use. He felt his legs were under him. It was harder to move in the sand but that was fine. Mollusc waited a few seconds. He had grown more cautious fighting Ramen so many times. The training was paying off right now. He'd finally launch forward towards Shiver bringing his right arm back. Then he swung forward trying to slam the arm into the side of Shiver's neck. He had to see if she was at good as blocking as she was at attacking.

Boom, her fist connected squarely with the Namekians block, the strength of the impact reverberating nicely down her arm. Mollusc didn't take the blow well either it seemed, she could see the reaction in the way his legs kicked back. It did send an cloud of dust towards her, but she blinked it away easily after a moments irritation. As she'd thought, she was stronger than him, though it was only by a slim margin. She decided to forgo any follow up strikes for the moment, content to watch and wait for a response. So she slowly retracted her huge arm, curling her arms into a tight guard as she observed the green man's stance. It was much like her own, a prep for both offense in defense judging by the way he held his arms. He seemed cautious too, perhaps he'd felt the small power difference as well. Suddenly the Namekian surged forward again, breaking the brief pause that had existed between them. She watched as his right arm cocked back and prepared her guard accordingly. And then the arm shot forward...aiming higher than she'd expected. Her neck? She hadn't expected that, and it became a race to shift her left forearm up in time. She succeeded, mostly, managing to avert a direct block to her neck. The impact still smacked her own arm back though, into her face and briefly unsteadying her. Still, she'd adverted a serious blow, and Shiver immediately turned her focus towards retaliation. No more of this hit and pause stuff, this fight was going to get started proper now! Recovering her footing, Shiver pivoted to face the Namekian and brought her right arm forward to launch a flurry of ki blasts at point blank range. She didn't stop there either, lowering her shoulder and darting forward as she stopped firing. Launching herself forward into the ensuing smoke, homing in on Mollusc's ki presence, she would try to full body tackle the other alien to the ground. Second Form PL 68,000 Mollusc

He felt the impact of his fist. She hadn't of dodged. She was not so much stronger then. Still, she was able to block the blow. Though it seemed to have unsteadied her. He'd step in slightly planting his feet down. It was time for them to fight at close range. He could see her regain her footing before he saw the barrage of blasts heading at him. He'd firmly replant himself putting his arms up to tank the blasts of energy. It stung at his skin and he could not hold up for long as he slid back slightly in the sand. His feet sunk down a bit more but then...it stopped. Mollusc didn't like this. Then the smoke burst open as he was thrown off his feet. She had tackled right into him. He'd be thrown into the dirt as she was most likely right on top of him. That was annoying. He'd coil his legs back. He'd then attempt to donkey kick Shiver right off and into the air. "That was not bad." He'd call out to Shiver. "But you're going to have to do a lot better than that to phase me." He'd grin. He didn't want to admit but he was having some fun with this little training match.

Shiver grunted with effort as she tackled Mollusc to the ground, feeling the impact reverberate through her. Before she could put her temporary advantage to work however, the Namekian surged beneath her. She didn't see what was happening till it was too late, and so took a kick right in the chest. The power of the blow smacked her off the green man and into the air, where Shiver's energy reasserted herself and she started hovering. Yeah, he wasn't that far behind her at all, she definitely couldn't afford to just tank his attacks. She returned his grin, running his words through her head briefly. "I'm glad you liked it," She called down to him, tail lashing about to cause a sudden burst of wind. "How about I do a little bit better then?"
Shiver ascended higher, bringing one of her hands forward and clenching it into a fist. With a laugh she started building up power within, and before soon her fist glowed silver, one of her bright waves being prepared. She extended it out before her, showing it to the Namekian before pointing it at him. "Try this one on for size!" She opened her fist, and released the blast, a silver beam ripping forth from her palm. It streaked through the air with a roar, down towards Mollusc quickly. It wasn't her strongest attack, not by a long shot, but it was a sizable blast at least. She would also learn a lot by how the target would respond, by seeing if he chose to meet it, counter it, or evade it. From this, she could how best to attempt future engagements, ones where she decided to use a more powerful attack. Betting on what she seen so far, based on his straightforward earnest attacks. He had knocked Shiver away with the powerful kick but he was unsure if had really done that much. He'd crack his neck before he got back into stance. His eyes looked up towards Shiver as she spoke. She seemed to be getting ready to use an even stronger attack. She had gone high into the air before she fired off a silver beam of energy down at him. Mollusc would open his mouth. Orange Ki began to spark out of his mouth as he waited for the beam to get closer so he could angle the attack. Finally, when it got close he'd fire off his own mouth blast to stop Shiver's own blast. A large explosion would cover his vision since the attacks were near the same strength. He'd brace a bit from the force. He'd was suprised by the strength but he'd be alright. He didn't take any direct damage. Ki swirled around his body as he launched himself up towards Shiver. Time to take this battle to the sky. He'd fire off a couple of ki blast as he flew off to make Shiver focus on them before he'd attempt to charge in and lay a knee into her stomach. Then he'd bring both arms up and try to knock Shiver into the desert.

Yup she was right, he met the attack dead on as she'd expected. She had not expected a mouth blast however, a tool she'd never seen fit to use. It was just something about the manner of gathering ki in that area, she'd never been good at it, or like it really. Not that it didn't give results, the orange beam meeting her attack and matching it. The detonation was fierce, and Shiver soon found herself releasing gentle bursts of power to clear the smoke. Hmmm, neither blast had overwhelmed the other, their powers were indeed close. Molluscs power spiked slightly, and Shiver swiveled her head towards it. He was getting ready to attack, the battle was picking up once again. She was first greeted with a few blazing ki blasts, ripping forward out of the last smoke remnants towards her. Those were easily dealt with, smacked away with quick hands and a nimble tail. Unfortunately she was a little too focused on them, and didn't quite see the obvious until it planted itself in her gut. Shiver gasped and bent forward, only to blink her pain away and force her body to keep moving. The Namekian was posed overhead with hands clasped, ready to axe handle her into the dirt. Shiver snarled, and at the last moment, brought her arms overhead in a double block. The blow smashed into her forearms with true force, no doubt leaving bruises for later, and knocking her back a few feet. But it wasn't the devastating blow it could've been, and Shiver immediately retaliated. Her long tail slipped past, Shiver aiming to slap the Mollusc in the face with it. She would try to follow that up with a quick one two with clenched fists, also aimed at the green man's face. Second Form PL: 68,000 Mollusc
