Aspara, as he attempted to grab Arcus, notice the pod coming his way, and on instinct, held his free hand out towards it open. A powerful KP ki blast forms in his hand, and he fires it at the pod with the intent to destroy it before it can hit him. Should it succeed in making the pod literally explode, then the smokescreen caused by it will cover Aspara and an area around him, with him using his ki senses to know where Arcus is. As stated in the last post, he had not wanted to use any more kp attacks until he felt the moment was right, the pod coming his way forced his hand as it was technically outside interference and a dishonorable tactic on Arcus's part. Yes, Aspara will admit that it was a sound tactic, but it was one that is going to cost Arcus big time.
He continues his attempt to grab Arcus's leg, now moving a bit faster. Like before, he intended to, if his grab succeeds, launch Arcus into the sky and unleash his volley of non-KP blasts, and as stated before, he fully intends to ensure that Arcus is kicked out of the village, whether the saiyan likes it, or not. Either way with no pod in the way, he kind of knew it was coming, he did see the remote earlier so he suspected it would come. He stood on the ground waiting for Arcus to come his way, a plan in mind.
