Warning! Warning! Impact Inevitable. Warning! Warning! Impact Inevitable.
Klaxons blared as red flashing lights cast the ship in an eerie hue. The sound itself was piercing to the body lying motionless on the floor of the Training Level. Brow furrowing in pain, Oboe’s eyes fluttered open – the first time since his traumatic, yet enlightening experience with one of his fathers’ old rituals. He didn’t feel any different other than the fact that his muscles ached from exertion. The ghastly sound accompanied by the red glow caused the Sage to leap to his feet – the situation finally dawning on him. Oboe could feel the weight difference, his sharp ears hearing the roar of flames as the ship fell through atmosphere.
Falling
Wait a second. While Oboe was not the most experienced spacefarer, he didn’t think he should feel the sensation of ‘falling’ in this situation. Worried, he rushed to the Training Machine, removing the Soul-Gems that had been placed therein. With a need for urgency, the Namekian flew into action – rushing towards the lift. His fears confirmed as he realized its inoperable status. Cursing his own foolishness, the Sage pried the doors open by force, placing his body within its center and – with effort exerted upon the platform – forced his way down to the lower deck. He had to get to the bridge! Sparks flew in every direction as the lift plate grinded its way down to the Bridge; The door sealed. With a mighty roar, a force of invisible energy slammed against the frame causing the blockade to shatter against a far-wall.
Warning! Warning! Impact Inevitable. Warning! Warning! Impact Inevitable.
The Sage looked over at the main computer – fast approaching, its message repeated over the view-screen in repetition. The ship was in free-fall and what mad it worse? It was entering the atmosphere of what he assumed was Planet Vegeta. Glancing down at the controls, he looked at each button with panic. This was his first pilgrimage across the Sea of Stars and his vessel? An ancient inheritance belonging to his enigmatic father – founder of his Village – Saw Tormund. The computers had been set by the old tongue, an older dialect but one that Oboe COULD read if the ship itself wasn’t shaking as violently as it was! With a frantic burst of movement, the young scholar’s fingers blurred into action, trying to make the ship re-engage its auto-pilot, having no idea how to correct this situation.
A groan shook the very metal of the Namekian craft, the vessel beginning to turn sideways – a deadly situation if left unchecked as the sheer velocity of re-entry threatened to rip his ship apart. The momentum of the movement caused the traveler to begin to fly backwards into the bulkhead. Yelling with effort, the green figure’s arms stretched to preternatural lengths, allowing him to continue pressing buttons. He yelled out;
“Please! Please! Just work! Just work!”
Through the main cockpit viewing bubble, Oboe watched as the ground below fast approached. Massive trees jutted up from every conceivable angle. The feeling of gravity slapping against his body as the G-Force finally kicked in, causing the slug man to slam hard into the back-wall. His fingers still moving at random, Oboe called out a silent prayer before finally falling into unconsciousness. His hands slowly falling off the screen as they retracted into his torso. As the gravity of the planet caused damage to the pilot, the ship itself began to shake as the auto-pilot reengaged, the microwave emissions that had caused a disruption having finally worn off. With mere miles to spare, the Copper and gold vessel released a mighty burst of reverse momentum before finally correcting itself and coming to a halt upon the surface of the planet. Trees destroyed at every turn as the ruckus was heard for miles. No one outside could possibly know that the traveler within had fallen to the weight of the planet. Still – he would live and soon find out the truth about his final destination.

"Oh come on!" Hale screamed as a large ship flew past and nearly into him. This was the third time in just a few weeks that he was nearly taken out by a falling ship. Either people needed to learn how to fly or needed to stop dropping in pods because Kami it was getting dangerous to fly. Hale shake his head hard as he felt a shiver down his spine from the wind rushing by and his eyes went wide as he realized the ship was in fact about to crash. It wasn't a model of ship he recognized, and at the very least it wasn't Saiyan or WTF, so what the hell kind of weird looking ship was this? "I'm about to do this aren't I..." speeding towards the ship as his body began to shift "Come on what am I doing?!" flying faster past the ship as he gained in power and managed to somehow out fly the ship to the ground.
His first thought was try and do something stupidly heroic and catch it and save whoever was inside, but his luck would be closer to the ship crashing landing on him and setting him on fire somehow. He didn't have much more chance to stand and internal monologue about his options as the ship collided not far from him and started to skid right towards him. "Move Hale, come you idiot move." giving a heavy grumbling sigh and planting his feet and growling loudly as he leaned forward as the ship skidded right into his hands. Immediately he began to be pushed back, and the sides of the ship left just as much damage as the drag marks, knocking over trees and the sheer heat of the ship causing a large amount of pain as he kept pushing to try and slow it down. "Damn-iiiiiiiiiit!" he screamed out as he muscled flexed and bulged and near immediately the ship stopped, even lifting off the ground a few feet from the momentum, then dropping back down with a hard thud.
Hale bounced around waving his hands and cursing loudly for a few moment before glaring back at the ship, walking over and giving it a kick. It clicked in his mind that there was likely someone in the ship, and given the crash landing they could very well be hurt far worse than the ship was. Running around to the side looking for a door, he came across the closest thing to one he could figure and started trying to pry it open, finally managing to get enough of a grip to pop it open as he jumped inside. "Hello?" walking carefully through the surprisingly spacious interior, finding it strangely empty given the size. It took him a good bit of searching to find where the cockpit area of the ship was, and finally finding the first sign of life, or at least the first sign of a body, and rushed over to check on them. After about a full five seconds of having no idea what to do with an possibly unconscious Namekian, he grabbed onto them and begin to give them a light shake "Hey, you okay?"

Chime's PL: 40,000
"Not again!"
As soon as Chime had seen the smoking spaceship break the clouds and starts plummeting towards the Earth, he leapt off the edge of the Lookout and went flying after it. He wasn't a fast flier by any means, so by the time he caught up with the vessel, it was already crashed in Fukurou forest, at the end of a long string of trees it had knocked over on its way down.
"Great. This is great." Chime muttered to himself as he flew on down, "What is it about this forest that says 'Hi, please destroy me'? Synth is going to be so angry...at least it didn't hit any of the villages. Wait, hold on, is that...?" As he got closer, he could see the shape of the ship through the smoke billowing off it. It was a Namekian design! What was a Namekian ship doing here on Earth? Maybe it was someone he knew? Had they come looking for him after all these months? He concentrated to try and feel the life energy of whoever was inside, but to his disappointment, only one was familiar, and only vaguely.
He poked his bald green head into the already opened door of the ship, and it didn't take him long to find the two energy sources he'd sensed. A very strong Arcosian stood over the unconscious body of a Namekian Chime didn't recognize, and he almost attacked right there on the spot, before he realized who it was.
"Hale?" he asked, lowering the arm he had raised in preparation to fire a blast, "Is that you? You look...oh, wait, I get it," he nodded to himself. Hale was transformed, as Arcosians tended to do, but he still looked enough like himself to recognize. It just had taken Chime a moment to do so, in the dark interior of the ship, "Who's that? Is he alright?"
Chime went to join him at the Namekian's other side. He could tell his fellow slugman was alive, he wouldn't be able to sense his energy otherwise, but he looked like he may have taken a bad hit to the head. Carefully, he held his hands up to hover just over the other Namekian's temples, and they began to pulse with gentle blue healing energy. Hopefully that would help somewhat.

Darkness filled both his vision and thoughts, the re-entry onto what he thought was Planet Vegeta had been far too intense for the Sage to handle. A voice broke into his unconscious thoughts, coupled with a thudding feeling as he was shaken lightly. A warmth filled his body as the pain and uncomfortable tensing of his musculature ceased, replaced with a calm and relaxed feeling. Grunting, eyes fluttering open – Oboe awoke. His blurred vision slowly clearing – the visage that greeted him caused the young Sage to jump a bit in shock – and a little fear – at its freakishly large appearance. “W-What?!” He exclaimed, a bit of fear rising in his throat as the sheer force of power radiating off this creature was more than enough to eclipse his own. His head shot left and to his surprise, a Namekian face greeted him next.
“What happened?! Is this Planet Vegeta?!”
He was confused, and rightfully so. Anyone whom awoke to such a sight would potentially be traumatized! His nerves calmed though visibly as he began to relax and breathe a bit easier at the sight of one his own kind. Looking around him, Oboe saw the damage and instantly understood the weight of his situation. He had crashed, hard and fast – yet somehow, he’d managed to live, most likely by the intervention of the two before him. Inhaling slowly, he finally calmed himself. Gazing at both the Namekian and the Creature, Oboe simply asked;
“Where am I? Who are you?”
There was no force evident in his voice, simply confusion. Moments prior he had just finished training by way of an old ritual – the effects of which were still causing a bit of backlash to his comprehension as exhaustion had indeed played a part in the events. If anything, the Namekian sounded ragged, as if he’d been traveling for weeks on end with no end in sight – worse for wear. Even his clothes, burned and torn, spoke volumes of the physical torment his body had been subjected to not so long ago. The traveler had come a long way from his home of Namek, interested in honoring his promise to Ochra – The Saiyan whom had visited his village – unaware that he’d landed on the wrong home world.
The sight of the Namekian was also a confusion. While he felt familiar, he did not recognize him – additionally, he didn’t think it to be so common to randomly run into a brother this far from their homes, even more curious. Still, while trapped in his thoughts, he hopped their answers provided some form of comfort in his already confusing situation.

It was thankfully not long before whoever this was laying in front of them started to stir, and Hale's first reaction was to do anything to help, but he looked over to Chime and figured he would simply defer to him here as he was the one with the literal magic hands. Hale was caught a bit off guard as the Namekian jumped a bit, and he realized near instantly how imposing he clearly must have been for a stranger to wake up to seeing him standing over him like he was in his brute form. Thankfully the Namekian caught a glimpse of Chime and that seemed momentarily enough to keep him from panicking or some variation of it. "Planet Vegeta?" Looking over to Chime and giving him a confused look before back to the confused green guy. "Uh, no sorry, this is Earth. Did you get attacked or something? Your ship sort of, well not sort of, it quite literally crash landed into me, granted that was partially my fault, but that's neither here nor there." Rubbing his neck with a slightly contorted face.
He didn't need any sort of high level of perception or detective skills to see this guy was shaken up, and for good reason given what he was just through physically, and no telling what had caused the crash. "Uh, I'm Hale. This is Chime." Stepping back some and groaning as his head smacked on something from the ceiling hanging down at head level. "Who are you, big guy? You okay?" Making a motion with his head to Chime as if trying to get him to check on the guy, not wanting to spook him any further than he had.

Chime pulled back as the mysterious Namekian awoke, abruptly stopping his healing. He could see confusion in the fellow slugman's face, and some fear, too. He held his hands up to try and appear as non-threatening as possible, and smiled when they made eye contact.
"Hi there. You're safe, don't worry. Uh," He glanced over to Hale to meet his puzzled expression, then turned back to the other Namekian, "Yeah, we're on Earth, like he said. Were you trying to get to Vegeta for some reason...?" Chime had heard about the war on Namek just a couple of weeks ago, with the Saiyand and the World Trade Fleet fighting over their Dragon Balls. Why would a Namekian be going to the Saiyan homeworld so soon after something like that? Maybe a diplomatic mission?
He leaned back from his crouched position until he was sitting on the floor, "Your ship crash landed, as you can probably tell. I dunno why, but no one seemed to be chasing you at least, so that's good. We're in the Fukorou Forest, not that, uh...not that the name would mean anything to you. But it's a nice, safe place, don't worry!" The soft smack of Hale's head hitting the ceiling caught his attention, and he looked over to the arcosian with a little laugh, "...Hale's alright, don't worry about him. He looks really weird and scary, but he's a friend."
With introductions and assurances out of the way, Chime just sat back to give this new Namekian some breathing room, and a chance to explain himself. After a second he blinked as he realized there was something else he should be doing. As the Namekian replied to their questions, Chime would materialize a tall glass of water, and silently hand it to his green cousin as he spoke.

As the throbbing of his head began to settle, Oboe listened intently to the pair as their words slowly caused his demeanor to sour. This wasn’t Planet Vegeta, which explained why the two visages that greeted him weren’t like the Saiyan’s he’d met on Namek. Cursing his bad luck internally, Oboe continued to listen as the smaller Namek explained the circumstances of his arrival, wincing at the words “Crashed”, being made to feel worse as he’d heard that his ship could’ve caused some fatal damage to the larger figure whom – just moments ago – looked so monstrous he could’ve sworn him to be an Ancient Glargna of Namekian lore. As the pair asked him questions, he tried his best to respond;
“Y-yes, I was going to Planet to Vegeta to help a friend who may be in trouble. I heard tell that they’re in the midst of a war against some group known as the World Trade Fleet. Ochra – that’s his name – ran off to help his people. I was hoping to catch up to him to offer the aide I’d promised but…”
Oboe trailed off. He realized that explaining anymore would be moot to individuals not aware of the situation. Instead, he tried his best to compose himself as he rose to his feet. Twisting his neck back and forth, a subtle crack following suit, before finally assessing his situation with his own eyes. The Namekian, small as he was, would be considered a “Little Brother” in the familial nature of the Namekians culture. Still, there was something powerful about him. An unseen force of nature about him that caused the Sage to pause for a moment.
The other, Alien figure was the more intimidating of the two. Sheer power radiated off his very being. This one had to of been the reason his ship hadn’t been smashed into pieces upon re-entry. Nodding to them both, Oboe smiled kindly – the same warm smile he carried on Namek – towards the two and bowed low in respect. “Thank you both for your assistance. You said this planet…is named Earth? I think I’ve heard of it before. Father said it was the Blue Gem of our galaxy. I suppose there are worse places one could’ve crashed.”
Looking around, he was truly confused as to what to do next when the other Namekian handed him some Water. Smiling kindly he accepted it was a brief “Thank you, little brother. If it’s not too intrusive…why is there a Namekian this far from home?”
It wasn’t that Namekians weren’t common travelers to the galaxy. Simply, he hadn’t heard of any Namekians going on a Pilgrimage to Earth, let alone one that seemed to be younger than most others that went on Nomadic travels. Chime was a curious one to him, but what was more curious to him was just what to do next. It was clear his ship was going to of been damaged by this re-entry, and it was also clear that he would have to survey the damage – what with the main view port having been ripped clear asunder. It was then, it clicked he hadn’t introduced himself yet;
“I’m Oboe, Sage of the Ourobian Clan. Thank you both so much for helping me. I don’t know what I would’ve done otherwise.”

He gave a bit of a wave as Chime mentioned he was a friend, giving his best friendly smile he could muster. "Well, I don't know who Ochra is, but I know who the World Trade Fleet are and I know I would not be comfortable going to Vegeta right now personally.", grimacing a bit at the thought. "I imagine your friend is okay though as I'm assuming they are a Saiyan as you said his people. The Saiyans actually took back the planet not all that long ago and pretty much booted or physically removed near all traces of the WTF from the planet. As far as I've heard there were zero casualties as far as Saiyans, so that likely bodes well for your friend." He looked over to Chime for a moment, not totally sure what to do here with this guy, but didn't say anything about it. Hale gave a bit of a slightly embarrassed thumbs up with a smile, mostly because of what he had foolishly done to stop the ship, which in all likelihood ended up doing more good than he realized for this guy and his ship. "Don't worry about it. Glad you are alright in here, I wasn't too sure after you came crashing down like you did." His face contorted for a moment, and his first thought was if this guy had ever even left Namek before given the state of his ship. "Earth, yup. And you could have in fact crashed in worse places. Granted you could have crashed in worse places even on Earth, so it probably worked out for the best." His eyes drifted over as he started questioning Chime, leaning against the nearest wall a bit curious to that answer as well, wondering how much he would tell him. "Nice to meet'cha Oboe. The name's Hale, which I guess you probably know by now."

As Hale explained about Vegeta and the Saiyans, Chime just nodded along. That all lined up with what he'd heard about it so far, and all his knowledge was second or third hand, so he didn't really have anything to add to that. "I don't know any Ochra either, but I don't know a lot of Saiyans to begin with. I could ask the ones I do know? But we can save that for when you've got your bearings a bit."
Oboe called him 'little brother', and Chime's face absolutely lit up. He had barely seen any fellow Namekians in all his months on Earth, and as much as he loved this planet, he was starting to feel a bit homesick. Running into one of his 'brothers' was a welcome surprise. "You're a Sage?" Chime asked with a big smile on his face, "Wow! I'm of the Dragon Clan, too, but I'm nowhere near being a sage. We must have practiced at different temples though, I don't remember ever seeing you. As for why I'm here..." His excitable babbling slowed down a bit, "I came out to Earth a while ago. It sounded like a good place to get stronger, from all the stories I heard about it. And then when I got here, I sort of got really invested...so now I'm like it's protector?" The information he'd been so guarded about with Hale when they last met flowed out of him easily now. He had no reason to keep secrets from a fellow Namekian, after all. He nearly forgot the Arcosian was there as he continued on, "The Guardian, it's sort of like the Guru, but also...really different? There's so many different kinds of people on Earth, I'm not leading them all like the Guru does. It's actually kind of quiet, most people don't even know who I am."
With a spring in his step, Chime turned around and headed towards the door, and waved for them both to follow him, "Anyway, let's get out of this ship! You should see where you've ended up. Plus, it's getting kind of cramped." He shot Hale a half apologetic, half teasing look with that last part.

Oboe was a bit disheartened when he’d heard of the Going on’s of Planet Vegeta from the larger figure. In his abrupt escape from the planet to help his friend, he’d been fearful that he’d arrive too late – or worse. Still, being told that there had been zero casualties on the Saiyan’s side as of yet did put his mind at ease and it was visible that he’d relaxed a bit at the news. Ochra was fine, what a relief. Nodding his thanks to the Alien, Oboe returned his attention – and Gaze – to the smaller of the three. The other Namekian seemed very excited upon hearing of his title among their people and exclaimed his own status as a member of the Dragon Clan, much to Oboe’s surprise.
“Yes! I assume you must’ve been a member of the one of the other temples – I was trained in our Village by my father as well as attending the sessions at the East Temple, near Guru’s old Village. Its no wonder we’d never met!”
He politely listened as Chime explained how he managed to find his way to this planet, and how he’d become its Guardian – a parallel it seemed to the title of Guru. Smiling warmly, he would nod in acknowledgement before adding; “I think that your desire to become stronger will be a wonderful help to the people of this Planet. You seem very wise.”
While the trio spoke, Oboe had to acknowledge that the Pair was right – it was probably best to leave the husk of his ship and truly experience the land for himself. Motioning for the pair to lead the way, Oboe would follow suit as he led them from the Bridge of his ship and out the massive hole that now scarred the ships Hull. Upon stepping outside, the sights and smells and sounds of this beautiful world assailed him quite unexpectedly. From this distance, he could hear birds sing and cicada’s chirp, water rushing across a babbling brook. Large tree’s jutting up to the sky all around them were much larger and denser in their cropping’s to those found on Namek.
“Beautiful..”
Oboe was stunned at the sheer magnificence before him – inhaling deep to take in the sweet-smelling oxygen around them. For a moment, it seemed as if time itself had stopped as the peaceful air of this world. There was something ancient and benign about the Earth, a darkness or ancient force that the Sage could nary place his finger on. Waving such thoughts aside, he turned once more to the pair with a large smile;
“It’s Beautiful Here…I can see why you’d choose this place Little Brother..” He nodded towards Chime. “to train and become strong. I’m envious of your new life..” Turning towards Hale, Oboe reached out a hand to him – offering the greatest kindness and respect his people could muster. “Thank you again, Hale, for saving my life. I know that must seem so trivial in light of what happened…but I feel I must make it up to you. As I am new here, I’d love if I could steal some more of your time…maybe have either of you help show me around? Im not sure where I should go first…but I do know at some point I’ll need to repair my Father’s Ship.”

Despite the more free flowing info, Hale was completely clueless as to its actual meaning and just assumed it to mean exactly what it came out as, causing Hale to simply cross his arms and look at Chime curiously. He was fairly strong no doubt, but to be the protect or guardian of an entire planet seemed like a tall task. He had absolutely no idea what a Guru was in context, and while it was out in the open information being shared now, it went over Hale's head without slowing for a moment. The look Chime gave went over his head just as high as he assumed the look had something to do with his mention of things being cramped and referring to Hale's size, so if it wasn't he was oblivious. His attention however fell to the other Namekian who he had no way of knowing what shape he was in, but given a full on crash he had to consider he was a bit shaken up. Not sure whether to move out of the way or help him up, he sort of awkwardly stood there for a moment waiting, following behind the two just in case he needed to help Oboe in any way, making sure to duck more this time as he walked out of the ship.
If either cared to look they would have seen to large Hale sized hand prints at the front of the ship where he had stopped it, and a long pair of three skidding tracks from the ship and his feet. He wasn't really sure how to address either of them given the situation, hovering a bit as if he were some over protective pet almost, looking around the area. Over hearing Oboe once again call Chime little brother caught his attention however, and he turned with a raised brow. "So Chime is your brother? What a cool coincidence.", before starting to pace again, but stopped and looked down at Oboe's extended hand, taking it with a firm grip and nodding "Well I don't know if I saved your life, but I imagine you would have had a few more bruises at least. Probably a much less functioning ship given how the trees were getting thicker in a hurry.", pointing a thumb over towards where the ship looked to be heading. "Hm, well where do you want to look around? It's a pretty big planet. Well, smaller than some I've been on but it's still pretty big." Turning back to look at the ship he just stared at it for a moment. "The ship, well can try and get it taken over to Crop Co, though that might be a bit of a long wait. I imagine with the right tools I could take a crack at taking the giant dents out of it at the very least. I'm not a master mechanic by any means, but I'm actually pretty good with my hands."

The little Namekian positively bounced as they made their way out of the ship, chattering happily the whole way, "I'm from Moori! I didn't train there, though-- I had to travel a ways to get to a temple. No wonder we never met!" Once outside in the daylight, he watched Oboe's reaction with that big grin still plastered on his face. He'd wanted to see what the Sage thought of the planet, and he wasn't disappointed, "Isn't it great? You're getting a good first impression, too. This is one of the most ancient, sacred forests on Earth. ...Well, as far as I know. That," and he pointed towards the pillar of carved stone in the distance, rising well above the treetops and into the clouds, "Is the Senbyo Tower, my friend lives up there, and I live way up above him! In his 'attic', he likes to call it." Chime talked at a mile a minute when he was happy or excited, and right now, he was very obviously both.
When Hale mentioned him being Oboe's 'brother', he laughed, probably louder than he should have, "Not my brother like -that-, silly! I'm an only child. But we're Namekians, we're all kind of brothers and cousins and stuff. One big, extended family," He tilted his head to the side curiously, "Are Arcosians not like that?"
Chime turned around and backpeddled so he could get a better view of the busted ship, "Whoa, this thing is really old! I dunno if you can get parts for this here...I could try and materialize some, if you tell me what you need. Oh! And you can install them!" He turned to Hale and gave a thumbs up, "But first...what should we show you. Hm..." Chime tapped a finger to his chin and began to pace along the grass, "We could take you to a city? They have way bigger cities here than on Namek. Or a desert! We could go see how your house is coming along, Hale! ...But that's kind of really far away. Hm." He continued pacing as he thought, trailing off into a mutter.

Oboe also regarded what the smaller of the three had said, “That makes sense then! Its no wonder at all that we never met!”
After taking the moment to take in his surroundings, Oboe would turn to Survey the damage to his ship. The Namekian winced as he surveyed the damage done to the main Viewport and its subsequent bulkhead. The visage of hand-prints on the sides of the damaged areas gave light to what had occurred – once again causing a pang of regret to shoot through his body, once more eying the massive figure of Hale. It seemed he owed that one far more than just a swift Thank you. He nodded as the figure offered to assist him in repairing his ship and kindly smiled at that;
“Thank you, I think I would love to take your help, especially if this “Crop Co” is as far as you say. Besides, it may be better to gather the parts myself…I doubt there’s any on this planet as familiar with Namekian technology than…well…a Namekian” At that last part, he released a hearty laugh, completely amused by the sheer hilarity of such speech patterns. It wasn’t like him to speak so plainly, usually having to address others with a regal or informative tone – that of a teacher. It was a breath of fresh air to be able to relax his position for the time and simply be himself.
The look of contentment on his face mirrored how he was feeling about the land around him. Having been so in touch with his natural energies for so long, he could practically Feel the history radiating off every branch, falling with each leaf. Chime was absolutely ecstatic, and it was clear to see he was happy to show off the Planet that he’d now come to call home off to one of his people. Oboe followed the small arm as it pointed off towards a stone structure that rose high into the heavens. He quirked an eyebrow at some of the commentary of “Attics” and the like, as he contemplated on a Namekian living that high above the rest.
The pair both had a hearty laugh at the Arcosians misunderstanding of their cultural ways. “Yes, our people all originate from a single entity – our Guru – though it is not uncommon for us to birth hatchlings on our own, we still all stem from the same source; As such we regard one another as family at all times. Though I recognize this may seem strange…from what I’ve heard, there are few species out there that propagate like we do.” Once again, Oboe offered the same Warm smile he’d offered to the other off-worlders, though unlike the others he felt a genuine debt towards the larger of the trio.
As Chime listed off locations to visit, Oboe would raise his hand up at the mention of the others “Home”. “Mr. Hale, I would very much like to see your home soon – same with yours Little Brother…however, I think the city sounds like the best location so far. Perhaps I’ll be able to locate something that could be used with the ship…at the least, a better way to move it from location to location – anything come to mind?”

Hale was mostly trying to keep up with the conversation between the two seemingly excited Namekians, but the majority of what they were saying was going over his head. Locations he had never heard of, people and names he wasn't familiar with, and what was that about being a Guardian again? It stuck in his brain like a thorn but he just couldn't quite put his finger on why. At Chime's response to not being Oboe's brother in the way Hale assumed, it mostly confused him at first but even he wasn't so clueless as to assume he meant more figuratively than literally, although when he asked about Arcosians Hale gave a bit of a laugh in return. "I sure as hell hope not. I don't think so though. I admit I have no idea how things are with you guys but I have parents, as in direct descendant parents, and siblings, related by blood. I guess I take for granted that our races are just completely different sometimes much like our cultures."
He didn't really feel out of place with these two as they both seemed nice enough, but it was the first time in a long time he felt like he was sort of standing around with a mixture of cluelessness and not sure how to address any of what was going on. When Oboe started to explain their race and where they come from, Hale did his best smile and nod and he could have been hearing a long drawn out noise for as much as he understood what he was talking about. Best he could guess was they all came from a single person and that just muddied the entire thing for him so he just gave up on trying to understand and gave a big thumbs up when he finished explaining. He at least could cut in when Chime mentioned him installing part. "Yes, I can do that!", realizing he likely sounded far too excited than he should have.
I'm not really sure where the timeline is here as far as the post as I just looked at the date when it started. I'm not sure Hale had even started building the tower at this point and was babby Hale power wise, so it could be slightly awkward. I honestly don't remember what I was doing IC at the time.

Chime skipped up the side of the ship as they spoke and perched on one of the spikes protruding from it, so he'd be on more eye-level with the other two...more or less. Hale was still taller, but this was better than staring at purplish kneecaps. He swung his legs back and forth as he replied, "Oh, I guess most people aren't like us, huh? They have to breed," Chime wrinkled up his nose and grinned like the idea was both gross and funny at once, "But we still have a parent! I've got a dad, back home! Not the Guru, just..." he trailed off, and his cheery demeanor faltered just a little as he thought of the home he hadn't seen in many months. The melancholy look only stayed on his face for a moment, and then he shook his head and was smiling again, "...Uh! Anyway."
"I actually know the head of Crop Co,. now that you mention them. This little guy, Carro. He's nice, I'm sure he'd help us! ...I'm not actually sure where Crop Co. -is-, though," he looked over to Hale with a questioning expression, silently asking the Arcosian to fill him in, "West City is the closest, but I dunno if we'll find them there. And that's still a long way to drag a ship. I'm sure actual mechanics would do a better job, but if you don't want to haul your ship around, we can try to patch it up here. It's up to you."
