The structure that had began to pop up in the center of the Diablo Desert was starting to take shape slowly but surely, and in just a weeks time the first floor was just about finished to what was soon to become a literal towering structure. Hale stood a bit back from the building admiring his handy work, which was little more than a square single floor building with a gaping hole where a door would go, and was startled like a sleeping cat when someone came walking up next to him. "Son of a...geez I need to put a bell around your neck." Stood beside him was an old friend by the name of Lotus, eyes fairly wide and just staring at Hale as if he had gone crazy. "Okay then." Shaking his head some, Hale gave a wide stretch and motioned towards the building with his head. "Coming along slowly but surely. So what's up? What are you doing all the way out here?" Lotus gave a bit of a shrug as he looked over the structure. "Well I would have called but you don't have a phone. I would have sent an email but you don't have a computer. Anyways, just seeing how you were doing, if you needed anything. "
Hale simply walked away without a word, making a full lap around the building as Lotus stood there, his Saiyan tail tightening around his waist in annoyance until he saw the Arcosian come back around the other side. "Hm, as a matter of fact, yeah. Hold on just one sec" running off into the building he came back out a moment later holding a letter, and the front only having the name "Nashua" written on it. "I need you to deliver this to someone for me. Saiyan female, don't have a clear enough description to give much detail, but she apparently has a ship she stays in. Just deliver this letter to her" He held the letter out as he droned on describing the ship, where it usually was, and all the while Lotus just stared almost in disbelief. "Look, this is the last one of these I'm delivering for you. I don't mind helping but I'm not your Saiyan Mail Service." Hale just gave him a wink and a thumbs up. "Thanks buddy. I appreciate it.", going back to admiring his literal handy work.
Inside the letter simply asks for Nashua to meet Hale at his "home", giving the direction and coordinates, stating he would like to talk about some stuff he would prefer not to leave in a letter just in case.

Did Nashua have some sort of secret admirer? Or maybe just a fan? Or was this some kind of trap? She'd been called out to remote locations by anonymous people more than just once before, and they usually ended up in a fight. Well, fine. She could hold her own, anyway, and she didn't want to get rusty. If someone wanted to beat her up, then she'd gladly teach them not to. She didn't know in the first place how that mailman had even found where she lived, considering her space ship didn't exactly have an address, but that was a question for a later time, maybe. She couldn't deny being curious about who this "Hale" guy was, and what he even wanted to talk to her about. Maybe he wanted to join the Saiyan Kingdom?
The coordinates for his home were plugged into her ship, and the Saiyan sat back and relaxed in her seat as the autopilot did most of the flying. It only took about forty five minutes or so until the ship started to slow down, and the beeping sound to let her know she'd arrived at her destination woke her up from her nap. "Wha...?" she mumbled groggily as she awoke and wiped some drool off her lip with the side of her hand, sitting up properly in her seat to get a view of where she'd landed. All she saw was sand. As far as the eye could possibly see, sand. "Well, if he was trying to get me to strand myself, then I guess this works," Nashua mumbled to herself as she stood up and wandered over to the door, dropping it open and taking a step outside to see if anyone was even here.
It sure was hot. And dry. Definitely not the type of place Nashua preferred to be, but at least her armor was pretty open and let her skin breathe well. Still, her black tights were a bit of a killer, heat wise. Maybe she could just do this quickly. A quick scan on her scouter alerted her to a somewhat significant signature nearby, and a quick walk over revealed an Arcosian. Well, this could go one of several ways, Nashua thought. "Hi, I'm the, uh, Saiyan you sent out for," she said from a few yards away as she approached. "Have we met, somewhere? I don't recognize you? And, uh, you're not here to try and kill me, are you? I've had an annoying number of people try to do that lately."

In mid swing Hale stopped and looked over as he heard the quiet of the desert broken by what sounded like a ship approaching. his hammering mostly kept him distracted but he managed to tune it out to a degree with his humming in his head but even that was paused at the moment. There was only one person he knew with a proper ship, and said ship wasn't in flying condition last he saw it, so either someone was passing by and about to see an odd site or he annoyed someone with all the questions he had been asking lately. It never occurred to him that the one he had sent the letter to would be around so soon let alone by ship, as his friend that delivered the letter hadn't returned.
As the ship came into view his eyes narrowed, even seeing the ship didn't tell him much as it wasn't familiar, but it was undoubtedly heading towards him at the very least, and just in case this was about to get ugly he tossed down his hammer and walked forward a bit, crossing his arms and hoping for the best. Finally it came down not all that far past his home and from the opposite side of the ship he could he the loud sounds of a door, slowly making his way around, but staying a good ten feet from the exit. Before he could get around fully a body came around as if greeting him, and Hale was immediately surprised to see someone that looked fairly normal all things considered. Giving a heavy wave, he decided to keep his distance for their sake if nothing else, seeming to startle people far too often as of late.
"Oh, well hey there. I'm Hale. Didn't expect a ship." Looking back at the partially built structure and back again, at the ship, feeling awkwardly jealous. "Nope we haven't met that I'm aware of, but I was hoping to. Sorry for the invitation like that. Guess I should apologize for the location as well, but it's a bit of a story. Building a house. "thumbing over his shoulder to point towards the half built building. "No no no. ", holding his hands up and waving them some. "If I was planning that I would have brought you here like some dramatic human television show. No this is just a quiet place. I mean I don't mind a good fight, don't get me wrong, but no I don't have any intentions of killing you. No what I asked you out here for was simply to talk. I've found myself awkwardly in the middle of a lot of situations lately between Arcosians turned into Androids, members of the WTF being unsurprisingly annoying, but also far too easy to get information from, and here is where you hopefully can become the biggest piece of this unintentional puzzle." Rubbing his neck a bit and wiping the sweat from his head with an arm, he gave a bit of a sigh. "I guess that's a bit of an interesting albeit wordy introduction, but there it is. Cards on the table as the humans say."

Well, this was certainly one of the less formal Arcosians Nashua had ever met. He had already spoken a full sentence without flaunting his superiority or shooting her a variation of a death glare. Maybe he wouldn't turn out to be as bad as she was afraid of, after all. "Hey there, Hale," she replied with a quick wave. "I'm uh, Nashua. Though, you apparently already knew that." She was still confused about that part. Maybe it made some sense that her name was starting to become known across the galaxy, though - she'd accomplished some pretty big things, now that she thought about it! The Saiyan felt humbled as she pictured people sharing stories about her around the universe, her name going from myth to legend across the years... Wait, that wasn't something to think about for the moment, Hale was still talking!
She tuned back in in time to hear him talk about his difficulties with some kind of androids, along with the World Trade Fleet. So, he wasn't with those guys in the slightest, then? That took a load of stress off of Nashua's chest. Without her tail, even someone with as low a base power level as Hale could still completely mop the floor with her if he transformed. That was just the power of Arcosians, she supposed. Something no one else in the universe could rival. ...Well, except Ramen, apparently. "Alright, well, I don't mind filling in some blanks for you, I suppose," she replied with a shrug, "I mean, I probably know a fair bit about what's going on with the factions, since I've kind of ended up in the center of my fair share of conflicts revolving around them." She stepped forward and folded her hands behind her back, so there wasn't as large a gap between her and Hale.
"So, yeah, any questions you have, I'll try my best to answer." After she asked, she could feel the sweat starting to form from her brow drip down her face and slide past her nose, and the rest of her skin was growing damp from sweat as well. Deserts were quite hot, as one would have assumed. "Do you have, uh, somewhere with shade we can talk, though? Or air conditioning? Just somewhere cooler, really?"

So far so good he thought to himself, pleasantly surprised still she hadn't made any attempts at blowing him or anything around him up. Perhaps he was being a bit harsh towards the thought of her Saiyan blood given how much he hated people treating him the same as an Arcosian, but every Saiyan he had met had either attacked him out right or made a valiant effort in a short window after meeting. The Saiyan's eyes looked as if they had glazed over for a moment, and it was obvious she was just impressed with his house, of course, because what else would she be so lost in thought over?
Her blunt and quick acceptance to answer his questions was refreshing and a bit surprising. Most at least had to be buttered up a bit, talked into spilling information on accident, or flat out refused and took a punch at him. Something about this Saiyan was different in the best way and it was near distracting as all his expectations were tossed aside more by the second. "I have a feeling I should have simply sought you out sooner. Now I don't even know where to start.", rubbing the back of his neck somewhat nervously as he inadvertently put himself on the spot.
His face contorted some and he motioned towards the building behind them. "Well, if you want shade that will do, though it is little more than four walls, a roof, and a hole where a door is supposed to be. No electricity or even lights, let alone ac. I have no problem heading in, but talking in the dark might seem a bit awkward." The building behind him was pretty basic in design, a cube with four straight walls that were fairly tall but no paint or even insulation, and just a few holes where windows most likely would end up. "Building myself a tower, and well, it's something." He turned and motioned towards it but didn't walk off just in case it wasn't really what she had in mind. "Guess I can just get question number one out of the way and ask bluntly, what exactly is it the Saiyans want with Earth? I'm told very recently Vegeta was retaken, yet I am coming across a few Saiyans coming back that claim to have been there not long ago on Planet Vegeta. Even an impressively strong human that is working with you guys for reasons I am oblivious of at the moment. Well, I'll take a breath and we can go from there, as I have a multitude of questions. Don't want to go overwhelming you with them already."

Nashua glanced past Hale at the building he gestured back towards. It was... A building, she supposed? It certainly wasn't quite that homey by any stretch of the imagination, but, well, it seemed like it also just wasn't finished. "Uh, maybe we can just stay out here, then," Nashua added with a tiny laugh. It was stuffy enough outside, she didn't need it to get any stuffier. If Hale was looking to build a nice, livable tower, then he still had a long way to go. That wasn't what he had called her here for, though, apparently. Nashua kept her hands folded behind her back and listened intently to Hale's question. It was a pretty basic one, though he added a lot of context to it. "Okay, well, to start with, yeah, we did take Vegeta back from the World Trade Fleet - you heard that right!" she began, with a proud nod of her head.
"I actually led the charge to take it back myself, if you hadn't heard," she added as she ran her thumb across her nose. She was kind of proud of that, if it wasn't apparently obvious. As for his actual question... "And, well, I don't think we really want anything with Earth? As far as I know, we're good to live on our own if you guys are. I'm just here right now because I'm tracking down... Something important." She nearly told him about the Dragon Balls, but figured that the less people that knew about those in general, the better. "That, and we also want to kick the Fleet out of any planets we can, since, you know, they're bad guys. And they seem to have mostly set up shop around here, lately."
After she'd finished speaking, she shrugged at him. "That good enough for you? And what other questions did you have?"

"We can probably stand near the building at the very least, stand near some shade if it is ends up bothering you that much." Giving a bit of a shrug and a nod to her response. He couldn't exactly blame her for not wanting to go in there right now, but as unpleasant as the heat likely was he was simply getting used to it with as much time as he spent here. Her response following didn't take long to spill out, and there was no beating around the bush, which Hale could at least appreciate. "Yeah, that much I knew, mostly from a few other sources. Though they had a different spin on the situation. But that's what I gathered from it all. WTF took the planet and the Saiyans, well however many of you there were, took it back without a fight. That last part is what surprised me about the whole situation frankly". any mention of the WTF came out with clear disdain in his voice as if he would almost gag if he had to keep talking about them specifically.
Nodding with an impressed look on his face, he gave Nashua a slight thumbs up. "Well good job. You might have to tell me all about that someday if you feel so inclined. Makes me wonder how strong you are if you were leading said charge to take back an entire planet." His face showed the surprise that he couldn't have hid if he wanted to with her next answer, and in his mind if wasn't sure how to process that. "I'm far from one to talk about going to other planets and making residence. Quite literally as you can see behind me. I suppose it just seems curious that full armies nearly travel to other planets. Not that I'm by any means saying you Saiyans with your army or armies are anything like the WTF, but the movement of warriors in groups makes me nervous. Bad memories and bad interactions." He looked up for a moment at nothing really, lost in thought for a brief moment. "Maybe my information and wires are crossed so much I don't know what's the truth with anyone anymore. So many people on this planet are nervous about the Saiyans as much as the WTF at times, and I admit I don't share that sentiment by any means, but it leads to interest fears and rumors. Though that tends to be the case with any unknown and strong thing, yeah?"
His eye twitched heavily at the WTF mention again, looking slowly back to Nashua and trying to wipe the sour look off of his face. "I am more than okay with you kicking them off Earth, though knowing them as unfortunately as I do, they wouldn't stop until they were all dead or dying. They are both far too smart for their own good while being too stupid to know any better." shaking his head to try and get the thought out of his mind, he smiled towards her and tried to refocus. "Good enough, yeah. Any answer is helpful really. As far as other questions, I guess I have to ask this then; why haven't you guys went on the offensive against them directly? They seem to congregate together here on this planet. Not long ago they were attacked by some moron Arcosian I had the displeasure of meeting. If the rumors are to be believed, you guys together are far stronger than the whole of them here on Earth and Vegeta combined. I clearly have no real frame of reference here, but, it seems like you could be done with them, wipe your hands, and have a peaceful life on at least two beautiful planets. Well, I assume Vegeta is still a nice planet. It's been over a decade since I was there." Rubbing the back of his neck heavily and giving a nervous laugh, "Sorry if I'm talking your ear off. I don't get many pleasant visitors, so not often I get to actually talk to people. Usually it is a racist Sayain punching me in the nose, an angry Arcosian over me not joining the WTF, some creepy guy that looked like a half robot trash can. Just nice to be able to have a somewhat normal conversation."

"Oh, yeah! That works," Nashua replied to Hale's suggestion of simply using the building as a shade from the sun, prompting her to quickly meander on over as she listened to Hale's long spiel about his thoughts on the matters at hand. She mostly listened quietly as he talked, thinking to herself that he was by far the most talky and least punchy space lizard that she'd ever met - it was a much more charming and approachable demeanor than Lords Chill and Boreal had ever displayed in front of her. Especially that one Arcosian android thing with the swords and the gas mask looking face. She occasionally did chime in with her own points during the brief pauses in Hale's speech. "Well, I used to be much stronger," she replied when he brought up her strength. "But I kinda lost my tail, so, you know. I can't turn myself into a monkey anymore."
When he mentioned how booting them off of Earth wouldn't necessarily spell their absolute end, she once again added, "Yeah, but kicking them off any planet they're inhabiting is a good start!" She was pretty sure she remembered Vocado talking about their main headquarters of operations being on some planet called Arcose. Maybe taking over that location was the one way to dispel the organization from the galaxy - though, perhaps not. The Fleet likely had assumed as such of the Saiyan Kingdom when they invaded Vegeta, but now the Saiyans were stronger than ever, and had their home back in their hands. That train of thought actually led quite well into her answer for the Arcosian's next question. She shook her head with a smile, and replied, "No trouble at all - I always prefer a good conversation over a nasty fight. Though, I wouldn't turn my head at a good, friendly bout every now and then."
The Saiyan cleared her throat, then proceeded to answering Hale's question: why hadn't the Kingdom already acted? "Well, we sorta have - there was a lot of fighting on this distant planet called Namek, where we actually took down this really strong Arcosian named Lord Boreal - he makes my level of strength look like nothing! Or, made, since he's dead now." She still recalled seeing his massively high power level of near 600,000. Even if she had her Oozaru form now, she'd have just barely been able to match it. Chamil must have been hiding some crazy power, too, if that goat had managed to kill him. But, back to Hale's question... "And, well, we've been quite busy trying to get our planet back. That took like, ten months. And now our leaders are fighting over who gets to wear the crown and call themselves King or Queen, so they're uh, a little preoccupied. So, I'm here to get a head start on taking them down while the bureaucracy settles their disputes."
Nashua let out a deep breath once she finally finished speaking, though quite quickly perked back up. "Anything else?"

He couldn't help but give a snicker at her comment about turning into a monkey, though he tried to turn to look for the lack of a tail, then stood up straight as he realized it might look more like he was checking her out given way he leaned over. Slowly he stepped up into his house, still talking as he walked inside and came back out with a bottle of water from the ice chest near the door opening, sitting it next to Nashua just in case, and walked around leaning against the building. "Yeah I've heard of Namek, though I've never been there myself. Only met a few Namekians even still, well two to be exact." Paying close attention to her explanation, and managing to learn something he had no idea about in the process. It made sense the groups would have fought on other planets, but he only knew directly about Planet Vegeta and of course the skirmishes on Earth. At the mention of Boreal however Hale's eye began to heavily twitch and his lip curled up. "I know, or at least knew of Boreal. I knew he died but I didn't know how or even where. It was as if the information was some sort of well known secret no one wanted to talk about but a lot of people still somehow knew about. Good riddance.", turning his head and spitting into the sand behind him before covering it with more sand with a light kick.
Hale held up a single finger to pause her for just a moment and walked inside again, coming out with what looked like a scouter and held it out to her. "Sorry to cut you off there, but you mentioned your level of strength, and though I imagine it is pretty decent I have no idea of how much, ya know? I can't read power levels and I bought this stupid scouter, but it doesn't seem to work." He handed it over, and while it wasn't completely obvious, it was obvious enough to anyone that had ever actually interacted with a scouter that he had been ripped off, being nothing more than a headset for a phone made to look like a scouter. "Sorry, continue" leaning back against the building. He gave a deep nod, as she had a good point about taking back Vegeta. It made sense they wouldn't simply chase the WTF around while their planet was still under siege. "Well, you've got me there. I guess that is the obvious reason, but I didn't really think about that for some reason." The look on his face showed that what she ended her answer with caught up to him all at once as his face turned really confused. "Wait wait wait, hold on. Your leaders are fighting each other? Isn't that really counterproductive? I hate to use stereotypes, but that is the full on Saiyan stereotype right there.", his face fully contorted, but slowly going back to normal as he shook his head a bit and laughed quietly. "Oh, well perhaps, though this might seem rather out of the blue. Just how strong are you? Compared to other Saiyans at least. Would you consider yourself a strong fighter or just strong power wise? How should I word this, are you a martial artist or are you more like me with power and no form?" The question was certainly different than the others, and he seemed rather interested in her answer by the look on his face.

Nashua, of course, noticed when Hale bent over slightly to check for a tail, though it didn't bother her much by that point, she was quite used to being without it, even if it had only been gone for a couple of months. Still, she wouldn't have minded having it back. Not only did it let her strength increase five fold by allowing her to turn into a giant monkey, but it was pretty good at helping her keep her balance. There were more than a few times that she had accidentally fallen over while standing completely still, and she still hadn't completely mastered the art of balance. But she was improving. She was cut off in the middle of her later reply as Hale came in and out of his house, asking her to help with some scouter he had that wasn't working properly.
"Lemme see," she said as she took it from him, removing the purple one from her ear and placing Hale's firmly on. It was a different size, so it wasn't a perfect fit, but she managed to get it on over her eye. Although, by all appearances, it was just an ordinary piece of glass tinted orange that had been fastened onto an earpiece. None of the scouting buttons worked when she tried to check for Hale's power level, at least. "Uh, I think this is just like, a phone or something that's been made to look like a scouter. I can find the messaging and internet applications, though there's no sort of power level scanning. Either it's broken, or you bought some kind of knockoff." She took the object off and handed it back with a shrug, fixing her working one back over her face.
"See, with this one, all I have to do is tap this button on the side, aaand..." A few seconds later, Hale's power level popped up on the screen. "Looks like you're at twenty eight thousand and five hundred! Last I checked my own, I was at a hundred and eight thousand, if you want a frame of reference." Hale was quick to move on to new conversation topics, though, already asking about both the questionable methods of Saiyan leadership and her adeptness at fighting. "Well, people proving their strength in combat is always the way leadership has been chosen," Nashua replied with a shrug. Maybe it was a bit strange, but to most Saiyans, it was just the way it had always been, and so it was rather normal. As for her fighting style, well...
"I'm okay at fighting, I guess," she replied with a shrug. She reached back and unclipped her weapon from her belt, a glaive that was nearly as tall as she was - though to be fair, Nashua wasn't all that tall. "I'm pretty good at using this thing, I'd say! I've had it since I was just a kid. Back then, it was like a whole two feet taller than me!" She laughed at the thought, and remembered how clumsily it had been wielded back then. "But, yeah. I kinda lose most of my battles, to be honest. It works out, though, because every time a Saiyan is defeated, we get stronger! I'm guessing that's why I'm so strong, actually."

Hale's eyes simply narrowed at her immediate comment about the scouter, leaning over to look close as she messed with the buttons. "Are you sure it isn't just, hooked up wrong? The guy gave me a discount. Said it was an older model and was used, so you had to mess around with it. I haven't got it to work yet. Does make a pretty good phone though." He gave a bit of a sigh as she handed it back, not wanting to say it out loud but having had a sneaking suspicion since he bought it that he got ripped off. It really did make a pretty good phone though! "Is That g-WHAT?!", his eyes going wide at how much higher her power level was than his own. "Okay hold on. Are you sure that thing isn't broken?" His entire face contorting, then falling into disbelief, before going through about every step of grief until he got to acceptance and just lightly kicked some sand and leaned back against the building.
He only slightly raised a brow to her response about the leadership, which was far more tame than most of his other facial responses, but it wasn't completely out of the realm of possible it was just a bit foreign. It was still strange, but Hale understood the idea of strength, but he still tended to follow those with the skill of leadership over sheer strength. "I guess you have a point, if that is simply what you have always dealt with. I couldn't imagine Arcosians doing that as much or the vast majority of the planet would just be gone in a day as they already try and back stab each other as it is. If they thought they could get ahead by simply killing one another it would devolve into case within minutes. I guess the idea of having some of your strongest fighters kill each other to lead is a strange concept. Work together, even if begrudgingly to take down a common foe and deal with the rest later. I'm not a Saiyan so really who am I to judge. My people are far from normal as far as the customs of other races." Hale had gone on a full blown spiel, rubbing his neck and looking over at Nashua. "Sorry, I keep doing that. Like I said before, just don't get to talk like this often."
His eyes drifted over again when she pulled out the weapon, looking it up and down and tilting his head some. "I've never used a weapon. Well, I technically used someone else's weapon once but, but outside of that. Pretty cool that you are that proficient in it you are comfortable carrying it around like you do. I never really thought a weapon like that would be much good in a fight with someone like...well us I guess.", then giving a bit of a chuckle at the idea of a mini-Nashua with a weapon that big. "As strong as you are, you lose most of your fights? That surprises me. You are almost four times stronger than I am. Granted I lose most of my fights as well since coming to this floating ball of dirt. Some impressively strong people, like yourself, seem to congregate here." His head tilted again, "Huh, I would be a lot stronger if I was a Saiyan then. I have gotten the snot kicked out of me in just the past few months. Well, see I was asking cause I've been desperately been looking for someone to train me or someone to train with. It's hard to find people willing as they either assume I have ill intentions given I'm an Arcosian, or out right decline. A guy can only scream into the desert so much, ya know what I mean?"

Hale's reaction to their massive differences in power level was pretty entertaining - Nashua supposed that was one thing that he did have in common with the other Arcosians she had met, and let out a tiny snicker when she saw how defeated he looked. She was never really one to flaunt her power over others, though she wasn't afraid to put it to use if she needed to defend herself or help somebody. Even just having a high power level had proven to be a surprisingly decent crutch to rely on in the art of negotiation. She nodded along when Hale talked about how poor a system he thought the 'fighting for the crown' ideology was, and she couldn't say she particularly disagreed. "Well, maybe there's a better system out there, but Saiyans as a whole still value strength above nearly all else," she started to explain.
"I still have that fighting instinct myself, I suppose, though a lot of them also just don't seem to value life enough, in my opinion. I have a friend in the Kingdom who said all the people the Fleet has killed deserved to die 'because they were weak'. That's the kind of thing I can't wrap my head around." She let out an annoyed sigh as she wondered what Cress was doing now that the Kingdom had taken back Vegeta. Probably killing World Trade Fleet goons or something. Nashua leaned up against the side of the building as well, trying to ignore the sweat that was still dripping down her forehead, occasionally wiping it away with her forearm. Boy, she was thirsty. And boy was Hale a talkative one. She tried to keep up with him, though she was starting to find herself losing place in his speech every now and then.
"Yeah, it's... Uh... What were you saying?" she replied after she realized there had been a solid few seconds of silence. Something about losing fights... Or screaming in the desert... "Sorry, I think the heat is getting to my head," she admitted after a moment. It'd be nice to have some reprieve. Maybe she had a bottle of water or something in her shi- oh, right. Her ship had air conditioning. Duh. "Mind if we move over to my ship? I have drinks and air coolant in there, if you're hot, too. Although, you Arcosians seem like you're built to withstand any kind of weather, huh? I heard you guys can even breathe in space." If Hale agreed, she'd have led him right on over to her ship and instantly pumped the air conditioning on full blast. If not, then, well, she continued to suffer.

His head slowly nodded in response, letting a grin fall across his face at her mention of fighting instinct. "You don't seem the type to choose to fight despite your get'up there, but at the same time I can see it in your eye." His face and his coming tone turned quickly somber. "I know far too many of those. I've done some things in my past that I wouldn't do now, but I like to think I've learned to value life. It took me a lot of wrong turns to get to the right ones. When I hear someone say that anyone simply deserves to die, it's hard to know how to respond to that. I'm sure there are times where it is inevitable, but I can't stand here and say I think anyone deserves it." Hale couldn't keep from sighing heavily at the mixture of emotions and memories rolling around in his head.
There was no arguing Hale was talkative today, and frankly he would have likely missed half of what was being said if he were in Nashua's position over his own. The heat wasn't bothering him near as much however, but he was glad regardless to move over to the ship, following her with a bit of a laugh. "Yeah, we are pretty resilient. I can't say I've ever tried that whole breathing in space thing but I'm well aware." He was surprised by the sudden blast of cool air, giving a heavy shiver from the sudden change in difference. "I have to ask this, which maybe it's a funny time given we just walked inside this ship, but you be willing to spar with me at some point? Doesn't have to be today if you aren't up for it, but you seem genuinely strong."

Back in the ship, Nashua was quick to grab herself a water bottle, popping off the cap without even bothering to twist it and bringing the nozzle up to her lips, letting out an "ahh" of relief after the water had quenched her thirst and healed her dry throat. The cool air felt like a dream as well, and Nashua bent down right in front of the vent, it blowing her bangs up out of the way of her forehead as she embraced the chilled air. "Huh?" she asked when she realized Hale had said something again while she'd been enjoying herself. The back of her mind had caught it this time, though, now that she'd gotten the chance to refresh herself. "Oh, yeah, I wouldn't mind that," she agreed, standing back up and nodding her head, her hair promptly falling back into place as she did.
She glanced outside the window of the ship, though, and then back at Hale. Then back at the window, and back at Hale again. Going back outside in the heat right then didn't sound like the most pleasing of options to Nashua, and Arcosians were, well, quite notoriously strong. Even Hale, with his base power level being just a fifth of Nashua's, could still easily eclipse her if he went full strength. And she'd be getting the snot beaten out of her in the blazing heat of the desert, which made it all the more enjoyable. "Would you mind if we did it some other time, though? I can't say I'd be able to give you the fight you're probably hoping for in this kind of heat," she said.
Nashua was kind of counting on having figured out some way to power herself up by the next time she met with Hale, though, it had been about three or four months since she'd lost her tail, and there was no sign of it growing back, from what she could see. But everything would be fine, right? If Ramen found a way to power up further, then Nashua would, too.

The change in temperature between the air conditioned ship and the dry desert heat was apparent, but neither really made much of a difference on Hale's disposition or physical well being as far as he could tell. He assumed all Arcosians had abilities to adjust to temperatures given their high constitutions, but it was always amusing to a degree to see how other species of creature were impacted so greatly. His eyes darted back and forth from her and the window as if she noticed something he didn't with her attention going from him then the window and back. "Well, at least you are up for a fight, I've never really fought a Saiyan I can match up with or totally over power because of barely over human standards of power.".
He couldn't help but give a bit of a chuckle at her question and following comment, giving her a nod in response. "That's totally fine. I guess the desert isn't for everyone huh? It's pretty normal to me. I like it out here because it is quiet, no one bothers me unless it is one of those bandits having a look, or I call someone out here, and it's a great place to train without hurting anyone or unintentionally blowing a hole in a building." Shrugging softly, "I wasn't necessarily asking to fight right now anyways, to be fair. I can see you aren't really too happy out here, but it was the only place I thought I could meet and ask a few questions without prying ears and eyes, despite how suspicious I'm sure it all seemed." Hale walked over to wear she had pulled her water bottle from before and pointed. "Mind if I grab one?" standing and waiting before just diving into her stuff rudely. "Hm, Well I asked you a few questions earlier, but I have to wonder, is there anything you are curious about in return? It sounds like you likely know a lot more than I do anyways, but doesn't hurt to ask if you have anything on your mind."
