Collision Course
Deep space, the vast expanse that fills up the gap between every planet in the known galaxy. Some call it the final frontier, others call it merely the first in the many realms that make up the universe. The trek from his homeland Konats to space was the first great leap forward, the most difficult part of his journey being the earliest. Given much of what came with unraveling all the metaphorical baggage that came with his departure. A significant yet somewhat small portion of his life being devoted to the afterlife changed the way he felt about the world around him. In but a short time, the souls of many fallen comrades participating in influencing the young Konatsian's personality. His mind asunder like threads of yarn yet to be sewn together. <Can I really be so sure I've made the right decision? Here I am, travelling who knows how many miles in space towards a random destination and to what aim? I tell myself its for the betterment of who I am, so I can return home an improved person ready to take action. I can tell people this lie but I'm afraid the same can't be said when I look in the mirror.> Yuca's hand touched the ship's interior wall adjacent to the left side of his body, lighting up what was otherwise a very dark space. <Ah, much better.>
Now, granted the ability of sight within the confines of his pod. The Konatsian took an invested glance at all there was for him to see, various possessions of his strung on the vessel's inner wall. A slight yawn emerged from Yuca's mouth quickly covered by the back of a forearm. <How long have I been on course? There's no telling while unconscious, feels like I should've been awake earlier than this according to the data.> A feeling of skepticism playing its part as he no longer focused on his thoughts. The console immediately taking center of attention as he investigated the ship's information for the lapse in time evident on the internal clock found on its monitor. Fingers running across the mechanical panel as an electrical shock made him reel his hands back in alarm. **Systems error. Systems error. Power failure. Rockets down.** A deafening noise vibrating the very core of his body as a flashing red light coated his eyes with piercing intensity. Though he shut off the elements by covering both ears and eyes, something else appeared to be causing a problem. "What's going on... This strange sensation am I.. dropping?!" As if by some stroke of luck he couldn't be more accurate, the ship's sense of propulsion was lost. Yuca's footing greatly disturbed by the change in gravity, falling flatly on his back before rolling over and onto the ceiling of the vessel. Due to the strange cylindrical shape of his transportation it gained a certain top-heavy aspect leading for its shift in orientation.
His face pressed against a window, he began to piece it altogether as the cause grew larger in Yuca's view. An air of disbelief on his person. In his sights there lain an explainable image. A green sphere of spectacular marvel, getting only closer and closer by the moment. "A planet? But I didn't set a course for one with this description, multiple suns?" Without warning the alien's balance fell apart once more, on this occasion permanently. Stuck to a side of the space-ship as the prospect of moving his limbs soon left him, the sheer degree of speed making it hard to even strain a muscle as the G-Forces pushed against Yuca's body. The console illuminating once more while another message made itself heard. **Reaching Coordinate: 9045XY! Breaking Atmosphere Now!" In rapid intervals of gaining momentum his plummet gained absurd velocity in short time in its descent towards the green planet. The ship burning up in the atmosphere given the amplified friction through air travel. "Seems like I'll have to really put my all into this, even if.." Try as he did he eventually stood himself up, transforming into a state that looked very much the same as his usual self for his skin turning very pale, looking a fair bit more sickly.
A white aura looming around his form, increasing his power level four-fold due to the strange transformation. Now with increased strength he immediately manned the controls, steering the pod with the manual command. Far past the initial point of entry he was now flying dangerously close to the surface of the foreign planet. Unfortunately for Yuca his plunge met great challenge, now a failing ship all controls available to him only let him lessen the blow of impact. Setting the vehicle on a course to crash into the plains of Namek, seeing it fit given it being the softest piece of land near him. Trees snapping in two on the Konatsian's path, a trail of wreckage leaving behind a scar on the ship's eventual landing. Stopping in a grinding halt, leaving the pod stuck amidst flora, vines and other shrubbery. Now burnt to a crisp as cinders manifested here and there, this was not a clean docking by any means. The ship itself visibly on fire as Yuca broke the door clear off in hurried manner, grabbing all the gear he managed to salvage from the crude collision. The transport taking flames behind him. Visibly cut and bruised, the damage laid on by the crash yet to take hold as adrenaline flooded his person. Falling to his knees as he took a moment to gather himself, heavily panting on the spot. After that brief rest he start heading off from the scene of the crash towards some kind of civilization. <There's got to be people nearby, hopefully that crash caught someone's attention..>
