THE WORLD TRADE FLEET SUCKS| Ramen's PL: 127,000 |
Ramen smiled weakly to Hale as she shook her head. "No, I'm definitely not a Saiyan. I was born in this very city, actually... I only joined the Kingdom because the Trade Fleet started nosing around Earth and I wanted to try to form a defensive pact. Then that sort of developed and now--" she snapped her fingers like audible punctuation. "I'm just sort of with the Saiyans for the long haul. As far as entertainment goes, it's... kind of the same sorts of things as I've always done. I mean, I've had a lot less free time lately, but... yeah. Nothing out of the ordinary."
"Well. Except for all the sparring. I guess that's not a terribly common past-time on Earth."
She glanced back towards the older Saiyan, finally coming around to addressing his own statements. He had made quite the comment about history, but she wasn't quite certain what his point was. "I uh, don't think you can say the Saiyans always come out on top. The fact that we just had to recapture the entire planet from the Trade Fleet is pretty compelling evidence to the contrary. If they'd only managed to take a couple of cities, then maybe you could say that, but actually seizing the planet and decimating the population like that?"
She shook her head just to emphasize her disagreement. She couldn't help but think it was the kind of comment he was making because he was old, and not because had actually thought it made sense. In her experience, that's what old people did.
"So, anyways --" she looked back to Hale. "I guess the same question for you, sort'a. What do you do for entertainment? And, well. What do you do?"

While eating a bagel in one hand and a coffee in another, his face was stuffed and after hearing her comment about the saiyans not always being on topped, he didn't make no comment and stopped chewing for a brief moment. If only she knew history of the saiyans she would say otherwise. Yangcong may be weak, but when it came to some knowledge of the saiyan history, he was somewhat an expert in that category compared to history's own history. So he let that comment sly and allowed the naive girl to think what she wanted. After swallowing his food and now looking to Hale to see what he was going to say, he decided to briefly state something before sipping on some more coffee.
"If you excuse me lads, nature calls i'm afraid."
Fang got up and allowed Yangcong to head to the bathroom as he sat back down in his spot. Yangcong on the other hand headed to the bathroom in a pant, the urgency to pee was a must. Fang on the other hand was chowing down like he had been starving for days, the truth was that he was always hungry! JUST LOOK AT HIM! Fang was indeed fascinated by the both of these two An arcosian who was nice and a woman who was strong and apart of the SK.

Hale gave a bit of a nod to her responses, looking over at Yangcong a few times and back again to Ramen. "I suppose I can understand that. I will admit I have had my fair share of reservations when it comes to the SK even still, but that's a tough subject to touch on sitting at a table with technically three members of said SK. Though it tends to make someone nervous when a former leader of said group proclaims rather bluntly about going to essentially attack your home planet." Looking out the window next to him, he gave a bit of a sigh, but smiling as he turned back. "I can at least understand the sparring bit, yeah. I do a good bit of that myself when I get the chance. Train train train. Never know when the WTF might go crazy and actually do something again. Gotta be ready."
His eyes fell between Ramen and the elder Saiyan, and it was likely a testament to their different eras in the SK given how confident one was in their abilities and the more realistic way the other address them. His assumption was honestly that the older Saiyan hadn't been in the thick of battle for quite some time given his age if nothing else, and there was no doubt Ramen had been in very recent skirmishes and likely had a better idea of current affairs. for a moment Yangcong getting up distracted him, but the sudden ravenous eating of the large beast had him staring with his mouth slightly open, raising a brow. It took him a moment to shake it off with a chuckle and turn back to Ramen. "Well, what I do, that's a rather broad question. I wrestle if you are asking about my job status. I train a lot, I have a wrestling school, and I like building. Bigger structures mostly, like houses and the like. I've always been good at crafting and working with my hands, and I suppose fighting feeds into that for me in a way."

THE WORLD TRADE FLEET SUCKS| Ramen's PL: 127,000 |
Ramen glanced aside as the old man rushed away in a hurry, rolling her eyes when he dipped out of sight. She couldn't quite fathom how quickly that had come on for him, and it wasn't something she much cared to think about any further. She knew he looked old, but she didn't realize he was that old. She shook her head, hopefully expunging the memory of that little outburst in the process, before looking back to Hale. "To be fair, attacking Arcose would just be a continuation of the war that the Trade Fleet started," she piped up. She didn't have strong feelings on the subject herself, but she had forwarded a plan once that involved an eventual assault against the Arcosian homeworld. To her, it just made good sense. "I can see where it would feel a little off for you, though. Growing up around here, you'd sometimes see raids or shootings in your neighborhood. Even though logically you could say, y'know -- that's a retaliation because the gang in your neighborhood did something the week before, it still made you nervous.""... granted, planetary invasions are a bit bigger than South City gang spats."After a moment, she glanced back towards where the old man had run off to. Given the tone of their conversation so far, she wasn't entirely certain how much she wanted to continue it, but the Arcosian himself seemed decent. Wrestling was an interesting past-time, to be sure. With a weak smile shot his way, she pushed herself out of the booth and onto her feet, digging into the inner pocket of her leather jacket for her pen. She reached across to snatch a napkin before scrawling a number down and sliding it over to him. "I've got to get going, honestly. But if you ever want help training, or just want someone who can match you punch for punch, give me a call." She hesitated as she rose back up, quickly clarifying. "--It's a phone number. I don't have a scouter frequency like some people."With that, she turned for the door and lifted her hand in a lazy wave to the two left at the table. As it turned out, her coffee would have to wait for another day. Or at least another shop when she actually realized she hadn't got what she came here for to begin with.

It was fairly clear Ramen wasn't going to be going out of her way to make friends with the old Saiyan or his giant furry friend any time soon. There wasn't much to say to her however on the subject at hand without it going down a road that wasn't exactly appropriate for the setting or someone he didn't want to annoy given the argument he might make. She did have a good point overall regardless of his feelings on the topic. As she stood up his eyes raised as did a single brow, hoping she wasn't about to announce a pee break as well and run off, giving a relieves sigh through his nose as she spoke up.
"Yeah, I should probably be heading back home myself. I have something I'm working on and I have a lot more work to go." Eyeing the number he just gave a bit of a nod and folded it once, sliding it closer to himself. "I might take you up on that offer in the future." Waving the napkin a bit as he finally picked it up. "Yeah I was hoping as much, as as the only scouter I own doesn't exactly seem to work properly", grumbling about the fact he was still suspecting it to be a fake. "Be safe and, well see ya in the future I'm sure." Turning towards the big fluffy cat thing across from him, he gave a polite smile and slid out of the booth with the napkin in hand and gave a wave. "Nice to meet'cha. Give the old guy a wave for me." Heading towards the door and leaping into the sky before it closed behind him as he left the building.
