Bloom’s PL: 24,000 | 72,000
Bloom stretched as she stood on the tournament grounds. She’d been itching for a fight lately. The more she fought, the more she wanted to fight some more. It was a bit weird for her. Usually after a pretty intense throwdown, she liked to nap for a few days straight. Maybe nab a couple of snacks. But what she hungered for now was more action. She really didn’t get it. The thought of losing it again still bothered her, but fighting took her mind off of it for a while. Finishing up her stretches, Bloom pushed through the more crowded areas, looking for a free ring. A lot of them were occupied with fighters. She had to duck a few times to avoid flailing limbs of the cheering bystanders. Finally, she found something she was looking for. It was kind of a larger ring, away from the smaller ones with the big crowds. “Okay...I guess I just go up there…?”Bloom had never really looked for a fight. She tended to just stumble into them. Hugging her arm tightly to her body and shrugging to herself, she stepped up onto the fighting arena and walked to the middle. Once she got there, she turned around and glanced down at the people giving her odd looks. She waited a minute before thinking that she might be doing something wrong. Maybe she was supposed to wave or something. Taking a deep breath, Bloom lifted her arms above her head and started to wave really half-heartedly. “Hey...uh… I’m Bloom…? I’m looking for a fight…”Bloom glanced around. She was drawing in a few curious spectators. Some of them actually seemed to recognize her. Probably from the tournament. Oof. Was she famous now? Probably not really. They started calling over others. Bloom supposed the rest would do itself from there. She resumed her stretching, just to make sure she was nice and limber for whoever stepped up.

Tarch PL: 100,000. Energy Setting 40,000
There was something about the Budokai Grounds that just got Tarch’s blood pumping. The roar of the crowds, the show of strength from people of all shapes and sizes. Truly for even a half saiyan like him, it was just a magical place. It helped that his grandfather was once an international champion, though that was on the level of an average human. Fittingly enough that was all there was to see. Nothing special, no big tournaments at the moment, just a few matches happening in the smaller rings. Luckily in a sea of average power levels, a single energy source stood out, a slihgtly familiar one. Well, Tarch was never one to turn down a possible new friend, maybe he could set up his own little fight.
So the little teenager slid his way out of the crowds towards the new energy source. The person it was attached to must have had the same idea, as they seemed to be backstage as well, possibly with the same idea. Tarch then found a Majin girl speaking to one of the managers. “Wait, I know you…” She was indeed familiar. “You fought my sister! Oh geez, you fought my sister.” Tarch waved at the majin girl as he approached. It just so happened that this was one of Kon’s best friends, someone Tarch hadn’t side hide nor hair of since he got home. “You’re Bloom, right? Kon’s friend. I saw you two fight in that tournament a while back. Man, I feel like I should apologize.”
While the boy spoke about the previous tournament, the manager of the grounds looked at the two expectantly, clearing his throat. “Oh right! You’re trying to get a match right?” He turned his attention to the manager. “Sorry sir, but if it’s no trouble I’d like to see if I can schedule an exhibition match.”
The managed yawned, scoffing at the child. “You sure kiddo? We may have a junior class open.”
“Actually I was hoping to do a Ki Class fight.” Tarch corrected.
The manager rubbed his eyes impatiently, “of course you are. I can see if Ring B is open, that way you won’t hurt the other participants.”
That made sense. The B ring was a large arena meant for large solo fights, just behind A Ring which was reserved for major matches and championships. Tarch had seen plenty of videos of his grandfather in the A Ring. “Cool! If It’s ok I’d like to step in with her.” The hybrid pointed to Bloom.
The manager shrugged. “If she’s ok with it. Either way, you’re gonna have to wait a little bit while we clean up the ring. Shouldn’t be more than ten minutes. Let me know if you get more Ki Class fighters, you can set up an impromptu tournament, or just a probably messy free for all.”
Tarch nodded vigorously. “Thank you, sir!” Finally, he would look back at Bloom, a bright smile on his face. “So, you wanna go a round with me. I promise I’ll be more gentle than my sister,” his tone took a sour turn when he threw in the last jab at his half sibling.

Bloom's PL: 24,000 | 72,000 Ki Suppression: Inactive (Reads as 24,000) “Huh…?”Bloom turned toward an unfamiliar voice to see an unfamiliar face. It was a kid. A boy. And he knew her? Maybe from the tournament? Bloom suddenly felt sheepish. Maybe she should have worn her patented disguise. Her worries were washed away pretty abruptly and replaced with intense confusion when he said that she’d fought his sister. “Um…”Kon! Oh, this was Kon’s brother. That made a lot more sense. Bloom leaned around to get a peek at the tail. Yep. Monkey boy. She grinned and let out a chuckle. Yeah...that fight had been pretty brutal and upsetting. She was still pretty pissed off with her to be honest. The kid didn’t seem like a bad kid though. She couldn’t blame him for what his sister did. Plus, he seemed pretty sorry about it. “Yeah...I’m kinda pissed off at her for...ya know...Trying to kill me…”Rubbing the back of her head, she just nodded when he asked her if she was trying to get a match. He managed to talk to the manager for her, which was great because Bloom had been having kind of a rough go at it. Most of this stuff went over her head, but it seemed like it was going well. She just nodded when the manager looked at her and then to the kid. “I’ll give it a shot… You seem like a good kid… What’s your name anyway…? Kon only talked about her devil of mother or something...And how she hated her monkey blood and stuff like that…”Bloom started walking to the ring. She’d been around a bit, so she knew where it was. She glanced at the kid. “So...you watched the tournament…? What did you think…?”

Tarch gave an uncomfortable laugh upon hearing the Majin’s anger at almost being turned into putty. In truth, he was even more angry with his sister though decided not to drag Bloom into his family drama. He was angry that she was about to become a hypocritical murderer. Kon always talked about how much she hated the oozaru form only to use it and nearly become the monster she swore up and down she hated.
“Yeah I was a little mad myself,” that was suitable enough. Luckily it seemed the anger from Bloom didn’t transfer over to Tarch. As a matter of fact, she seemed to think he was an ok guy to which Tarch just gave a little chuckle and a toothy grin. His smile only faded for a short time when she talked about his sister’s hatred for him and his mother. Luckily the topic shifted over to the tournament.
“Oh I didn’t just watch it, I was IN it. I gotta say there were some really cool fights, kinda sad my first one was a no show. It was just when I got home from Namek too!” Whether Bloom would go into detail about her experience or not, the manager from before would call the two over a few minutes later.
“Ok, you two! We got an exhibition match for you in ring B. Tarch you’ll be in the red corner, Bloom you’ll be in the white corner. Just wait until we call your names before you come out and I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory.” Tarch nodded happily. He then shot up from his seat and held out a hand for the majin.
“It was nice talking to ya! I’ll see you on the ring!” Soon Tarch would be in a small locker room, having cleared a space for his trademark jacket, now in his shorts and sleeveless shirt. In his usual overly dramatic fashion he began punching the air and hopping in place, though he looked less like a fighter and more like a child jacked up on sugar and kung fu movies. “Tarch, please step forward to the arena!” He wasted no time jumping out onto the white tiled floor, even doing a little flip in his excitement. Here goes nothing!

Mm, maybe she shouldn’t have brought up all the things that Kon had complained about with her kid brother. He seemed nice enough, and it probably stung that his own sister hated their blood. Bloom grimaced to herself. Tact was really not her strongest suit. Huffing a pretty hefty sigh, she figured that she should probably apologize or something for it. He did perk up when the topic switched to the tournament though.
“Oh really…? Ah...That’s right… I’d heard something about a big leagues… I was in the little leagues… That’s kind of cool then… A little leaguer against a big leaguer… My first fight was with Kon… I kinda won that by default… The second was with this lizard… er… I think they’re called something… Arcomans…? Something like that… That was a fun one actually…”
Bloom paused after relaying her own tournament experiences. This would be the time to apologize. She was just… so bad with these sorts of situations. Reaching out, she rested a hand on Tarch’s shoulder briefly.
“Sorry about earlier… Kon… ah… Well, just sorry…”
Oof. Big oof. Bloom felt pretty sure that she had just botched that terribly. Before she could say something to make it worse, they were called up for their match. Geez, she wanted to thank whatever god was looking out for her. She just gave the manager a little salute and sauntered over to the white corner. It was because she was white, wasn’t it? She grabbed Tarch’s hand and hoisted herself up, giving it a shake.
“Yeah…”
Heading to her own locker room, Bloom glanced around at the dinky surroundings. She had been in here a few times in the past, but it still felt sort of odd. All she did was maybe a few stretches then stand around awkwardly until she was called. Once, she had actually fallen asleep in here. She had almost had to forfeit that match. When she was called, Bloom took a deep breath. Alright. Here went nothing.
Stepping out onto the white tiled arena, Bloom smiled a little at the kid’s excitement, feeling herself get a little excited as well. She wasn’t sure what she’d do if he brought out the monkey, but she was feeling a little more hopeful about this match.
“Alright… Let’s go…”

It was clear that off the arena, the two weren’t all that great at conversation, most sentences ending in awkward pauses. Luckily the arena should be a different story. Tarch always got excited when he got the chance to fight for fun, rather than out of anger or to save his own skin. On top of that, this would be the first real fight he had with a Majin. He was excited to see what kind of tricks Bloom had up her sleeve. There was just one thing Tarch wanted to clear up before he started.
“Hey uh, don’t worry about me using my great ape form. I can’t really control it and I don’t wanna be like my sister. So no monkey business from me.” With that, a loud gong echoed through the stage. Tarch shot off like a bullet, smiling brightly toward Bloom. “That doesn’t mean I’m gonna hold back in my human form though!” The young hybrid was going to start things off with a bang, going with one of his favorites.
Tarch would go in for a punch to the Majin’s face, then back out at the last second. Then he would look to plant a kick to her side only to do the same. Tarch was aiming to throw in a flurry of feints toward his opponent to try and confuse her. If let unabated, he would take his chance to knee her in the stomach, this time not as a fake out. If the attack hit, he would try to follow up with a punch to her cheek. He’d then back off a small way, curious to see how a Majin fought.

No monkey business, eh? Heh. Bloom smiled a little at that. She wanted to believe the little guy. What was his name? March? Tarch. Yeah, that was it. When the gong rang, he shot off toward her with what would ordinarily be blinding speed. Not really blinding to her. It was kind of funny how mundane these insane speeds had become when she used to not even be able to hope to match them. How the times change.
Bloom ducked to avoid the punch to her face, feeling the wind above her head as she held out an arm to block the kick. What followed next was a flurry of feints, which Bloom started to dodge until she realized what was going on. Her dodges grew sluggish until Tarch’s knee connected with her gut. Her gummy body absorbed the impact pretty well, but it left her open to get absolutely decked in the cheek. She flopped onto the tournament stage facefirst.
When the attacks stopped, Bloom peeled her face off of the stage and looked up at Tarch. Not to far away but looking at her curiously. Not one to disappoint anyone except for her parents, Bloom suddenly disappeared in a burst of speed, zooming over to Tarch’s side. She threw a punch that was close but missed by inches around the back of his head. Where a human’s fist would have stopped, hers just kept going, whipping around to wack Tarch in the face with the back of her fist.
Bloom was thankful and not for the first time for her majin body. While it had structure, it was nowhere near as rigid as most human or alien bodies. It had a little give. Sometimes a lot of give. But it worked out pretty well for her in the long run. Bloom smiled. She was starting to get into this now.
“Heh…”

So far Tarch’s hard and fast start seemed to be paying off well enough. However, with each hit he made, it felt like he was punching the worlds hardest jello mold. It was incredibly hard to tell whether or not he was actually doing any damage. One one hand there’s so little resistance that he thought his punches literally did nothing and the times he could feel her body pushing back, it was so strong that the young half saiyan could be convinced she couldn’t even feel it. Even once he managed to leave Bloom on the ground flat on her face, the way she moved made it seem like his punch didn’t do a thing.
Her punch, on the other hand, felt very solid. Not only was this blob durable, but she was almost as fast as Tarch! He was still able to track her though, barely leaning out of her fists path. What Tarch didn’t realize, was that it was meant to miss in the first place. Snaking through the air, Bloom’s fist caught him completely unaware. Tarch stumbled around, not sure of what just happened. Was he hit from the front or the back? Which way was he even falling?
“So this is what it’s like fighting a Majin huh?” Tarch slurred dizzily. Luckily he managed to shake his head clear and regain his footing. “You’re really tricky aren't you?” the half saiyan noted, still smirking toward Bloom. “I got a few tricks of my own though. Here’s one of my favorites.”
While Bloom was definitely fast, Tarch was confident he was faster and he wanted to prove it. With his own burst of speed, Tarch seemed to stand completely still. However, there was now a swarm of Tarch’s, each one shifting around the majin Normally he would have tried to land many small attacks, but judging how well that went last time, he decided stronger was the way to go. The speed clones all seemed to close in before they all converged on the Tarch directly in front of Bloom, now throwing a blue flaming kick to her side.

Bloom chuckled to herself at Tarch’s reaction, rubbing the back of her head and shrugging in response to her question. She just knew how to use her body in a fight. Majin physiology really did come in handy sometimes. Though, he claimed that he had a few tricks of his own. Good! She’d been fighting too many people who brute forced their way through her lately. She was curious to see what kind of tricks he had up his sleeve.
What she got surprised her. Glancing around, Bloom wondered where the attack would come from. Behind? In front? Above? Maybe one of her sides. Heck, it could even come from below. Hm. That would be a neat trick of her own to try. Putting that thought aside for now, Bloom focused on dealing with Tarch. He was fast. Really fast, but so was she.
When the swarm of Tarches converged on the one in front of her, Bloom hastily raised her arms to block only to see that he was aiming a swift fiery blue kick to her side. Hastily, she formed a barrier of pink ki there just before the kick managed to collide with her side. As it hit, the blue flames drained into her body and reemerged in her hand as a swirling pink and blue orb.
Bloom slammed it at Tarch as soon as it formed. She still had a few more tricks of her own up her sleeve. This was one of them.
“Try a taste of this…!”

The young hybrid snickered, thinking his attack was a resounding success. However, he was once again confused when he was hit with an eerily familiar attack from Bloom in the shape of a swirling cotton candy pink and blue blast. Tarch skid back a few feet, stopping to rub his cheek. His face was twisted in minor confusion, once more not certain of what exactly hit him. He then ignited his fist and slammed it into his open palm. It felt almost identical to the hit he took just now. Tarch’s eyes lit up, his smile returning to his lips.
“Did you just… hit me with my own attack?! Holy sh- crap! That is so cool!” This was the first time anyone actually threw his own technique back at him, and as shocking as it was, it gave him something completely new to discover with fighting. “Ok then! Guess I gotta change things up a bit” Tarch took a deep breath, bending low to the ground as his hand was again lit in icy blue fire. He then sent out a flurry of quick small jabs, a small fist shaped blast coming from him. “Let’s see if you can send back two in a row!” He finished up his barrage with one large blast, with just as much power as his first big hit.

Bloom watched with mild amusement as Tarch skidded away. The look of utter confusion on his face was absolutely priceless. She waited for him to put it together, covering her mouth and laughing when his eyes finally lit up with understanding. Ah, this was fun. She didn’t really get to use that technique too much. She smiled and just nodded at his assertion.
“Yeah…! Glad you like it…”
Sliding into a combat stance again as Tarch readied himself for another attack, Bloom watched carefully, already knowing the answer to his question. She actually couldn’t do it twice in a row. Doing it once always winded her. Something about redirecting an attack so that it didn’t hurt her. It was like trying to handle lightning with only gloves for protection. Still, she thought that she was getting a better handle on it. As Tarch’s flying blue fist came her way, she took it straight on, sending her sliding back a few feet. She had a big fist shaped dent in her chest.
“Oof… that left a mark, huh…?”
Inhaling, Bloom popped the indent back out. While it might have looked outwardly that she had taken no damage, she knew she was gonna feel that in the morning. It was gonna bruise. She poked at it and winced a little. Still, she wanted to show him another trick for that, but she was kind of out of ideas at the moment. He wasn’t used to fighting majin sure, but there was only so far that she could stretch that advantage.
“That was pretty good…! I’m having fun… So the rules were knockout or ring out for this match, right…?”
A knockout would take too long. Plus, she didn’t really want to make it that rough of a match. Basically, she had to start outfoxing him another way. She glanced over to the edge of the stage. Hm. She could tell Tarch wasn’t a dumb kid, so this could probably go either way. Okay. Charging straight at Tarch, Bloom went for a grapple. If she could get a hold of him, then this would be a lot easier.

Tarch let out a triumphant laugh. His second attack managed to hit the Majin girl square in the chest. Actually, he was worried he might have hit a little too hard. The hybrid was about to apologize and call for a time out when he saw the perfect fist shaped indent in Bloom’s chest. Luckily with a little bit of air, she was able to reform herself with ease and put Tarch’s worries to rest.
“Bounce attacks back and regenerate? Man Majins are so cool! That said, looks like it takes a lot of power to bounce back an attack. Otherwise, you woulda thrown that second punch right back at me.” Tarch was having a ball. He was fighting without having to worry about getting severely injured or worse. For the first time in a while, he was just going all out and even learning about a new type of opponent. Said opponent seemed to be enjoying herself just as much as well, making the teen’s smile widen even more.
Bloom then asked for a quick reminder of the rules. Tarch was happy to oblige, thinking nothing of it. “Yep, knockout, submission, and of course ring out… oh no.” Just as he finished his brief response, Bloom charged straight for the little half saiyan. While he didn’t have enough time to move out of the way, Tarch did manage to get his hands up in time to get his own hands up and lock fingers with the majin. He wasn’t too worried, remembering a similar test of strength with a much smaller majin. “Too bad for you, I’ve actually sumo wrestled a majin before! And won!” Tarch would try and push back, though he failed to mention one thing. While he did win against his aforementioned sumo match, he didn't really get to learn much about how Majins actually fight, and Bloom was both taller and stronger than Oratoro, making this much more difficult.

Sumo wrestled another majin before, eh? Bloom wondered if it was anyone she knew like a sibling or some such. Eh, it could as easily be as not be and she had way too many siblings to narrow down which one it might have been. As Tarch’s fingers interlocked with hers, he pushed back and hard. She resisted a bit, but not with the full advantage that her height and weight gave her in match like this. She wanted to be pushed back. Sliding toward the edge of the stage slowly, Bloom stopped the backward momentum maybe once or twice to make it seem like she was putting up more of a struggle than she was.
“Hrgh… that so…? Guess I’m not so great at this…!”
As they got about a few feet from the edge, Bloom made her move. Her hands clamped down on Tarch’s much harder than they already were as she grinned wickedly. She cracked her arms like a whip to get Tarch off the stage and into the air. Planting one foot and pivoting on it, she wrenched her body and arms around to try and slingshot Tarch into the dirt. She had to be careful about her arms and hands touching anything outside of the ring, but if she used Tarch as a cushion for those things, it wouldn’t count against her.
“It's a stretch that you thought you could beat me…!”
Bloom wasn’t great at trash talking, but she wasn’t gonna get any better without practice. She even sweetened the deal with a pun. That made it like ten times better, right? She hoped so. It felt pretty awkward to say.

This was a familiar scene. Once again Tarch was struggling to bring a majin out of bounds. Just like last time as well, this one didn’t seem to push too hard but was an absolute pain to push back. Luckily it seemed like Bloom was a little lighter than Oratoro. At the very least she didn’t move as much as the little guy. What the half saiyan forgot, was that this was still a full-fledged fight. Tarch yelped as he was flung into the air, Bloom’s iron grip unrelenting no matter how hard he pulled.
No matter which way Tarch thrashed it seemed like he was destined to hit the ground. Luckily he wasn’t out of ideas yet. He figured that even if he hit Bloom with another attack, she would still be able to slam the poor teen to the ground, or worse bounce it back. But there was still the grey hands holding onto him. If he could just get it so she touches the ground first, he’d still win. The hybrid’s fist ignited in a blue flame as he poured every last ounce of power he had into this last attack.
“Personally, I don’t think me winning is too far of a reach!” The teen launched his Torrent Crash. However, he wasn’t aiming for Bloom or anyone at all. Instead, his fist was pointed diagonally into the air, aiming to launch himself even faster toward the ground and spin fast enough that Bloom’s hand would be caught underneath him. This was, of course, assuming she held on, though it was Tarch’s hope he was now going too fast for that to happen. If not though Tarch would be free to simply fly out of possible disqualification.
