Mollusc was not always the smartest person in the world. He had made a lot of mistakes. He had punched people before asking questions. However, he had done a lot of thinking. In the past couple months, and he realized he had made a big mistake. Leaving the Kingdom was the right choice, he could not serve under Vocado or Kayen. He could not allow himself to follow people that he didn't follow the ideals he had fought under them for. Plus, he had fought for Porunga before. With his faith low, he now had to fight for himself. He had to do what he thought was best for himself. What was best for himself at this moment, was to try and reconnect.
He knew after what he had done things may never be the same. Yet, Nashua and Ramen were two of his good friends. They all had become close, but he just left them. He was selfish. He expected them to give something up to help with what they most likely assumed were delusions. He regretted that he didn't handle it a different way. Yet, it was set on stone. All he could do was try to make things better. He didn't know he was going to find Ramen but he started in South City. That was a pretty busy place plus he needed to pick something up. Macbao's. He had read in a book that when you had something called a breakup food was a totally perfect solution to the problem to try and hash things out. Now he was unsure what exactly what a break up was but he assumed leaving Ramen and Nashua hanging was close enough. If not he could just eat what he was going to get.
He'd look around pushing past the line. The guy up front looked up as Mollusc pointed at the number 4 on the menu. "Twelve." The man nodded in fear and confusion as they cooked up twelve Mcabao Chicken nuggets. This would hopefully do the trick. He'd put down the money needed and walked back outside. When he got outside he sat around the Chickens in a Bag. Maybe he should of some sauces. Though he was unsure if Ramen would appear, He was basically hoping she'd sense his power and maybe want to check out why he was here. He usually didn't wander in the cites, since he didn't know much about the human culture so maybe that would get her curious.

HOPE WE CAN BE FRIENDS | Ramen's PL: 127,000 |
Being back in South City was always a relief, even at a time when Ramen found herself questioning her place in the world more and more. Whatever uncertainties life had to throw at her, they could always be assuaged by a return home. The pleasant beaches, the warm weather, even the incessant traffic jams were all a soothing reminder of the life she used to have. But today, she was soaring above the city rather than racing down its streets. It was hard to really know what to do with her time now that she was here with no real directives: the Fleet had been defeated on Vegeta, and they were hard to pin down on Earth.
She could train, but for once, she really didn't feel like it.
Then, her problem was solved in a fortunate accident as she caught a particularly powerful signal coming from a fast food restaurant below her. It was as strange a place as any to sense a powerful warrior, and so curiosity got the better of her. She dropped down through the air, touching on the pavement for a soft landing. For once, she was back to her old style: a leather jacket, combat boots and some denim shorts. Not that it really helped alleviate the shock for the woman she had just seemingly fallen out of the sky in-front of, who proceeded to yelp in surprise and drop her half-empty soda cup onto the sidewalk.
She offered the woman an apologetic smile, all but ready to enter the restaurant when a particularly familiar Namekian walked out of the front door. She found herself standing there in silence, unable to offer much more than some owlish blinking. Mollusc. It had been a long time since she had seen him -- and their last exchange was perhaps their most peculiar, a tall order given the nature of some of their conversations. He had wanted her to be the Queen.
"Uh..." she cleared her throat and offered a sheepish wave to catch his attention. "Long time, huh?"

Mollusc rubbed his chin. How could he find Ramen? Maybe he had to go find a scouter. Ramen was pretty strong so that would make it easier to find her. Yet, while he was in this thought he heard something. He'd turn his head looking over to see Ramen! She was here. Guess he lucked out. He'd smiled looking at her. "It been pretty long I suppose. Glad you didn't die or something while I've been I guess mopping about on Earth." Mollusc said with a shrug. He was really unsure how he should explain all he wanted to say. "I was actually looking for you." He held up the bag of food. "I heard when you make a friend mad your suppose to buy them food and talk it over. Some odd book called dating tips. Don't know what it is but it sounded like sage advice." Mollusc looked over. "So I just wanted to chat, talk like the old days. If you want too of course?" He couldn't nor would he stop her if she didn't want too but if she did that would be a start to try to repair their friendship.

Ramen blinked at Mollusc at his explanation. There were a couple points she had to pick apart out of what was actually a nice gesture overall. "Uh... well, we're already friends so I don't think you need to worry too much about gift protocol. And uh, don't rely on dating tips where friendships are concerned, because we're not going to be going on dates." After clearing that much up, she offered a gentler nod. "But we can talk, yeah. I'm not really bitter or anything about the way you left the Kingdom. It's just been too hectic to really do much social lately."
"I mean--" she rubbed at the back of her neck. There was a lot to catch up on, so she would just have to try to run down the list really quickly. "We summoned Porunga, we revived the dead from Satan City and also an entire planet, we recaptured Vegeta, and then Kayen and Vocado had their second fight -- Kayen won, by the way." She bobbed her head back and forth as she thought. She was sure she was missing something, but that would probably do for now.
"... So yeah. It's been busy. Hopefully you've been alright."

She said some stuff he didn't understand. First was that gifts were not needed. "I see." He'd have to make a mental note to get rid of that book. It had not proven to be useful. He had hoped that was what he was supposed to do. Second, she talked about something called dating. Now that he was confused by. Mollusc looked down at Ramen genuine confusion on his face. "I didn't understand the difference. It seemed they were both the same thing. Dating just being another word for friend?" Guess it was not but why would humans have such a confusing word. What was the difference? Guess Ramen would have to explain that to him another time. Right now it was about talking about what had happened in the past and reconnect.
He was glad she was not bad, that was a start. Then she explained all the things that had happened. First, they summoned Porunga. He'd looked suprised. "I assumed after everything he was a legend. Guess he was real. I wish I had been there. So I could know for sure if he was talking to me but it does not matter now. I won't let others words guide me, I have to be my own person, not somethings minion or thrall." Mollusc said calmly though he still really wished he'd been there. Now he'd never know. Well, the other news they revived the people of Satan city and recaptured Vegeta. He knew those two things but what he didn't know was Kayen and Vocado dueled the second time. Kayen had won. He'd nod resting his head in silence. He made the assumption Vocado had died. Why else could have happened to the Saiyan Prince? Part of him felt good that he was dead, he'd not rule but Kayen was ruling, so that was quickly replaced with regret. It didn't matter who lead, he could not return.
Ramen then asked about him well somewhat anyway. "I have been alright. The past couple of months for me have not been as exciting as the ones for you all. I have just been relaxing on Earth. I suppose having deep thought and being away from violence has allowed me to get a clear thought of what I want with my life. I can't live my life serving something, I have to live my life choosing to fight for something. As my own person rather than the will of some higher power." Mollusc said smiling. That was the one benefit of leaving. He was able to get a clearer idea of what he wanted. Instead of assuming he knew what someone he never would meet would want.

HOPE WE CAN BE FRIENDS| Ramen's PL: 127,000 |
Ramen pinched the bridge of her nose. It was probably predictable that a Namekian wouldn't be up to date on that sort of thing, but she was a little surprised he hadn't picked up on it from the Saiyans. "Dating means you're different than friends. You know, like holding hands and kissing and reproducing and stuff." She winced a little at her own phrasing, but she figured that just insinuating wouldn't do it here. "So like -- Nashua and Vocado are friends, right? But if they decided that they wanted to stop wearing clothes around each-other, then they'd be dating."
"-- That's not something that's going to happen, for the record," she added. "I thought they were dating, but now I'm not really certain."
She shook her head, doing her best to just banish the train of thought from her mind. At least, she hoped that Mollusc wouldn't require any further explanation on the matter. Luckily, his other comments were a little more manageable -- even encouraging. She had wanted him to become more of his own person for quite some time now, and although she still wasn't thrilled with his departure, not following the phantom of a wish dragon could only be a positive.
"I think that's the best way to do things. I'm a member of the Kingdom because it's my choice -- I actively choose when to follow and when not to follow, and it's worked out pretty good for me so far. At least, s'far as I can tell." She lifted a shoulder in a weak shrug. The point about Kayen becoming Queen was something she figured might cause tension at some point down the road, so it was best to get that out and in the open now. "--I don't need to listen to Kayen, for example. But I like her, so I work with her so long as we're on the same page."
"I don't know what your new goal or path is, but I hope that it's fulfilling and that you find... well, everything that was missing when you were struggling with faith on Namek."

Ramen began to explain what dating was. How they'd hold hands, kiss and reproducing. "Well, I get the first and last one. Holding Hand like in combat and all. Grappling with someone seems pretty close to that." Mollusc shrugged. "As for the last one. Namekian elder spits out eggs to make their kids. So they do it alone why would you need two people. That seems to just take more energy." Mollusc said looking at Ramen confused. Guess that was something that he'd not understand. She then noted that Nashua and Vocado would be dating if they got rid of clothes around eachother. He looked even more confused. "I mean the kingdom does have those healing pods. That people don't wear clothes in. So if you're in one of those your dating someone. Humans and Saiyan sure have some wired traditions." Mollusc frowned still confused. "Also what is Kissing. That sounds like an odd word. I've heard people say Kiss their ass warriors but I assume that just means they want to get knocked out." Mollusc explained still rubbing his head.
However, things were moving over to what was important. She was explaining how she was apart of the Kingdom not out of service but because he liked Kayen. "I see and that is your choice. That is good." By the logic, he was trying to adopt Ramen was making the right choice. She was serving because she wanted to do so. Kayen was not forcing her and he knew that. Afterall, Ramen choose to follow her and not take the crown for herself. "I think I will be able to find faith. A different kind, not believing in a higher god but believing in myself and those that I know." Mollusc smiled at Ramen. He was just glad they were friends agian. They didn't need to fight and hurt eachother. They could just enjoy their time together not worrying about politics.

Mollusc's apparent inability to understand what she was getting at practically caused Ramen's mind to go blank. She really didn't want to get into a detailed explanation of Earthling or Saiyan biology. It could really only go awkwardly, and this meeting was probably awkward enough for the Namekian. And for her, for that matter... at least once she started trying to explain that, of all things. "--Look, uh. Maybe we can get you a book or something so you can figure all that out. That's not the kind of thing I talk about with my friends. Erm, unless they're the kind of friends that it's relevant with, but then it's not so medical. Okay?"
She eventually nodded along with Mollusc when he mercifully moved on. "Yeah, I mean. I know she can rub people the wrong way sometimes, and she's definitely not as nice as someone like Nashua, but she's pretty fun. She fights well and all that. But uh, having faith like that is a good step forward." She managed a weak smile. "I think you're older than me so this is going to sound kind've weird, but I think you've kind of matured since Namek, haven't you? Found your way more."

Ramen seemed to want to move on from all his stuff. He'd nodded and didn't press any further. If she didn't want to talk about it then don't ask about it. he also learned that from that dating book. Guess not all of it was useless. Regardless he'd not dwell on it. They had more important things to talk about. Ramen explained that while Kayen rubbed people the wrong way and she was not a nice person like Nashua but she could be fun. She loved to fight and was good at it. Mollusc nodded and didn't say. He didn't think that was a good sign if she loved fighting. Maybe she'd hold herself back from anything too vile.
Ramen also noted that he had matured and he was older. "In namekian years maybe. From what I do understand about humans you don't age like us. In Namekian years i'm around..." He'd began to count on his hands. "I'd say i'm about 35 almost 36. If I was a human I'd only be 11 years old." Mollusc explained. He didn't know if Ramen knew that but regardless he'd take the compliment. He did agree that he had matured. Before he acted like a child when he didn't get what he wanted. Now he just had to be calm about it. He'd not always get what he wants but as long as he strived towards something good it was not a failure if he didn't reach his goal.

"Uh-huh..." Ramen kind'a peered at him when he explained his age. She didn't particularly see how he could be just eleven given how he looked and acted, but she supposed aging was different for different races. There were probably thousand-year-old space lizards out there somewhere still acting like toddlers, for all she knew. "Well, I don't know much about all that. But I'll take your word for it."
"... Anyways. It's good to see you again. I know you're not going to be fighting for the Kingdom anytime soon, but I'm glad to hear you're not gon'na try to burn down the palace or something," she shrugged a shoulder. "I'm hoping when all is said and done people won't really need to worry about these kinds of factional allegiances. Long as the Trade Fleet is gone, people won't have so much cause to worry."
