Rock Oni’s have some interesting demonic ties. Due to this, when in the presence of a Devil Lamp, the strength of their stone increases. When under the effect of a Devil Lamp, Nian Zhen gains -2x/+1x to her current transformation.
Gender: Female.
Age: 26.
Appearance:
Her skin is orange in color, though her horns are dark black. She stands at a monstrous 6'11.

History:
The Rock Oni species is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a species comprised of both demonic power and rocks. They’ve been around for ages, and there’s plenty of stories on how they came about- some say a demon’s summoning spell went wrong, fusing him with the stone he performed it on. Others say that a powerful demon prince cursed the species after a rock was tossed into his window. Either way, the demonic curse still remains to this day. However, it’s effectiveness as a ‘curse’ is rather dubious- because, in fact, their unique physiology often works out in a Rock Oni’s favor. They can strengthen and grow rock-scales all across their skin, and due to this, they become impressively durable. Under the influence of demonic sources, this curse becomes even stronger- as does their defenses. Despite the fact that they are Rock Demons, they aren’t actually made of rock- the rock is more like their skin. However, just like how they can generate rocks, it’s also possible for them to regenerate up to even a full limb if they’ve trained enough.
These beings reproduce asexually. They build up enough of their rock essence, and produce a vaguely humanoid rock-shape out of their own stone. The custom of the people is to throw these stone dolls into deep space. The Rock Oni have the ability to inscribe certain pieces of themselves into the ‘egg’, influencing it’s personality. The most important piece of themselves they leave is the knowledge of the Rock Oni culture and belief system, the same way that those Rock Oni were passed that information prior. The origin of these memories of scribes and rituals is unclear. Many Rock Oni’s can remain in space for hundreds or even thousands of years, little more than an ‘egg’ waiting to find it’s ‘incubator’- a planet, -to hatch. The Rock Oni believe strongly in fate, and thus, even the act of being born is left up to random chance. If a Rock Oni is born at all, it is a sign to them that they have a blessed existence, and that good fortune is waiting for them through the rest of their lives.
Nian Zhen’s story starts when she crash landed on a back-alley planet where no ships passed and no nations warred. It was a primitive place, without many resources, without much technology. As a child, she would use her instincts and massive power as a Rock Oni to survive and thrive. She lived a peaceful existence for many years before becoming curious with the human settlements that were near her. She found their company tiring, but she found the goods they produced to be satisfactory to her needs. She would then routinely march into human villages and generally cause a ruckus- steal food, steal clothes, break some windows, ruin some crops. She didn’t cause any major damage, but she was rather annoying. The villagers decided to call out to the gods, and as fate would have it, there was one who was listening on that day. She descended
from the planet.
Two months later, Nian Zhen left the planet with a new name and a new companion for life. As for how such a sudden change came about in her, well…

Techniques:
[A1] - Rock Wrecker - Nian Zhen forces extreme rock growth into her fist and swings it like a club to combat her opponent. Deals 33% of her PL in damage.
[UA2] Boulder Breaker - Nian Zhen increases the growth of her rock once again, but this time, it’s even harder and even rougher! Deals 66% of her PL in damage.
[B1] - Rock Solid - Nian Zhen hardens her rock plating, making her extra resistant to any attacks that the enemy may have wanted to inflict on her. Shields her for 33% of her PL.
Transformations:
x5 - Strange Physiology - For an unexplained reason, while under the effects of Blutz Waves, Rock Oni’s gain a large increase in power! However, it also gives them a killer headache. No changes to appearance are evident.
