On the rare few occasions Xi-Tian actually traveled to the South, he preferred to spend his time in or near the Diablo Desert. Why wouldn't he, after all? The place was empty of pests and beautiful in its simplicity. Sure, he might've minded had he not been genetically resistant to high temperatures, but... he was. Hence his particularly enjoyment of the relaxing scenery of the arid wasteland. He glanced at the sun, snorting to himself as if remembering a joke. Ten Suns. What buffoonery. A distant shape caught his attention, however, a large sloping spire standing out against the normal yellowish flat backdrop the desert provided. It looked like a... pyramid. In the middle of a Desert in which he had walked several times before. Xi-Tian squinted, curiosity growing as he observed the structure. Was he hallucinating? Had he simply... missed it the first time? Deciding to simply end the mystery in person, he began the walk over to it, keeping a steady pace. His power level was still particularly low, so the threat of getting singled out by a meta-human or alien this far out was slim.
Soon enough, he was but a minute's walk away from the colossal structure which stood proudly and defiantly against the beating rays of the sun. The Demon cocked his head, trying to figure out what exactly it was and what it was doing here. Cautiously, he summoned Sunbreaker - the weapon materializing in a flash of light in his left hand as he took a few more cautious steps forward. Deciding to test the waters, he called out: "Hello? Anyone here?"

Hale stood atop his proud structure with his arms crossed, looking out over the desert as if he were a king and this was now his domain. The directly surrounding area was his, at least for now, but he was by no means anything resembling a king; just a man and his magnificent pecs. Out over the horizon he spotted someone, strangely enough, coming towards the tower. "Who the hell would be out here? Are they crazy?" Raising a brow he turned to fully face in the direction of whoever this stranger was, and by the time they came into view they didn't seem like someone coming to start any trouble, but were they lost? He couldn't read power levels either way so for all he knew this was some monstrous being. Then again for all he knew this was some moron human lost and looking for help.
It only took the person getting closer, and the sudden summoning of a weapon to realize they weren't just a normal human, but they didn't seem overall hostile regardless. It was apparent they were simply curious, and almost entertainingly nervous given the way they called out, so Hale figured it was as good a time as any to just jump down and introduce himself. Diving to completely clear the sloped roof, he landed just feet from the weapon wielding man, sand kicking up in the air as he did, and waiting till it all fell before waving. "Hey. Yup, I'm here. Can I help you?"

Xi-Tian twitched, pure will the only thing having kept him from raising his weapon and firing on pure instinct as an Arcosian dropped from nowhere and greeted him completely casually. ...What the actual hell? Xi-Tian stared a second, composing himself and clearing his throat before dismissing his bow and lowering his hood to expose his face. "Just a bit confused is all. Last time I was in the Diablo there wasn't a giant tower sitting around in it. I didn't expect to see it along with an Arcosian who didn't automatically dunk me." The words were spoken kindly, no malice meant behind his examination of Hale's species - as if it were of little concern to him. "Then again, that's a bit hypocritical of me... heh. Anyway, I was wandering the desert and lo and behold this place exists now. What's it for if you don't mind me asking?"
Though others might fear the typically arrogant Arcosians, Xi-Tian wasn't a stranger himself to the receiving end of such prejudice. In fact, if anything, he was more liable to trust them than he was an average human. He wondered if the Alien could tell that he wasn't human - though the somewhat subtle features may be a bit harder to discern depending on how long the other male had been on the planet before. Long enough to... build a tower, apparently. He didn't exactly know why he chose the desert out of all places - outside of reasons similar to his own.

Hale fully expected to surprise whoever this person was, and really that was his intention. It was starting to become a regular thing when people came to visit him, and the sheer luck he was up top whenever they did. He simply looked the person over for a moment out of sheer curiosity as they responded and crossed his arms with a soft smile. "Yeah, I get that a lot. I suppose, uh, surprise!", turning and holding both arms out and pointing them towards the tower. "Welcome to Muscle Tower. I built it myself. This is mine.", seeming overly proud. "Dunk you? Oh right, well I am not the attacking random people type. Granted I was watching you when you walked up to see what you were going to do, and granted if you attacked my tower I might have, otherwise no reason to go attacking, ya know?", giving a heavy shrug.
He was about as oblivious as someone could be to the fact that this guy wasn't a human, and seeing as he just accused a human with a blue cat tail of being a Super Saiyan maybe a week prior, it wasn't likely to change unless he was told otherwise. Most of these races looked the same to him except one might have a tail and that was usually about it on the surface. His arms were still outstretched pointing towards the tower as he head turned around looking like an excited child. "This is my tower, I built it because, well I wanted to really. I come out here to train, and now I live here. This is my sanctuary. It is a monument to strength in a place most people don't bother to come to and, I guess that's about it?"

So the Arcosian had built a structure named 'muscle tower' in the middle of a desert? ...He'd heard weirder things before. Xi-Tian shrugged, deciding to just go with the flow for now. "That's... really inspirational," he said truthfully, glancing up and down the structure as they spoke. "A place you can call your own and that holds your ideals. The closest thing I have to that is some forest up North, and I don't even really own that." His expression turned slightly bitter, thoughts floating to the surface that soured his mood. "I suppose it'll stay like that, given if I do anything of a similar scale I'll get chased out by an angry mob for being a freak again." He didn't know why he was spilling so much to the Alien - perhaps it had something to do with the Arcosians generally being judged unfairly as well. "You'd understand, probably. Is that part of the reason why you built this place?"

Hale's pecs flexed and he looked to stand up just a bit straighter, nodding in return. "Inspirational indeed. I started out just building a small place I could stay while training out here, then it turned into a full home and it just kept evolving." Reaching out his arm he put his hand on the man's shoulder and looked down at him. "Everyone needs a place they can call their own and a place that as you said, holds your ideals. Build it, by it, take it I suppose, but I feel it is important. Even a quiet forest can hold importance, ya know?" His hand squeezed gently at the man's comments as he leaned down to make sure he had to look him in the eye. "Look at me here, I'm serious, look me in the eye." He simply stared forward without a word for what seemed like forever until speaking. "People on this planet have hated me, attacked me, shunned me, all because of the fact that I'm an Arcosian. You know what I did? I trained harder, I worked harder, and I showed them it wasn't their opinion or approval I was after." Moving to the side of and looking up at the tower in front of them, he pointed towards it. "Now look. This is mine and no one can take it away from me. Those that would try, well it wouldn't likely work out well for them, and you know why? Because I've worked hard here as well. ", punching his own chest and letting go of his shoulder, walking away some. "I'm not looking to prove anything to anyone, but even so they can look at this and look at me and cannot ignore either. They will accept me for me and if they don't then screw em." Crossing his arms with a bit of a chuckle. "People are judgmental and stupid when you really think about it, so you don't have anything to prove to anyone but you."
