The Saiyan Kingdom's old Earth base was certainly no longer the hub of activity it had once been, that much was for sure. Before Vegeta had been taken back - or, arguably before the whole Namek episode had begun - the base was where you'd have easily found almost anyone in the Kingdom awaiting orders or doing work, or even some light training. But now that they'd gotten their home back? It was dead quiet. Almost too quiet. ...Well, maybe not too quiet. The lack of people around actually made it a nice place for Nashua to go and do work in peace, with only the occasional soldier that was still stationed there checking in once every few hours or so to report any suspicious findings. Though, most of them had little to report other than the rare Fleet member sighting.
All in all, it was kind of pleasant, and maybe a little bit boring, but it wasn't like Nashua was one to welcome challenge. The Saiyan was seated at a desk she'd cleared out for herself in the base, trying and mostly failing to get the old computer that was plopped in front of her to work. "Come on, load..." she mumbled to herself as she impatiently waited for the little blue circle to stop spinning and just finish booting the page up already. The computer only had Internet Explorer of all browsers installed, and while she'd have liked to get a faster one, the problem was that in order to get a faster browser downloaded, you had to use Internet Explorer to load it up and download. Therein lay the problem.
With a sigh, Nashua leaned back in her chair and pulled out one of her Dragon Balls to twiddle her thumbs with, rolling the perfectly spherical orange object in her hands around until she settled on the six dark orange stars on one of its sides. How did these things work, anyway...? Those were probably questions there would never be a proper answer to, but Nashua was just glad they worked at all. The only way she was ever seeing her old friends and family again was if she succeeded. ...Well, if she died, she might see them again in the Otherworld, but the more preferable avenue was seeing them all alive again. Out of curiosity, she checked the loading progress of the browser. "Eight percent!?" she exclaimed, "But it's been twenty min- oh, come on..." The Saiyan let out a groan and dropped back in her seat.
This was going to take a while.

Saizomaru PL: 100,000 (Base)
The rugged north. It wasn't any surprise that Saizomaru would find himself here. He was well aware that most shady and scrupulous individuals and organizations would set up a hideaway in one of the more desolate places on Earth.
It had been a while since he had last spoken to Carro about offering his assistance in searching for these Dragon Balls that he was hunting for. When last they had spoke the android had offered to keep the ones that the Crop Co. CEO had safe with him. It was only a shame—yet no real surprise—that the deal fell through. The boy had not yet learned to trust his benefactor.
Saizomaru couldn't blame him, though.
But now he had decided to take matters into his owns hands. He had bided his time for most of these magical orbs to gather in one location before he would set out to claim them. It was just a matter of playing the waiting game, awaiting the right time to act. Military service had taught him that much.
And found them he had. The radar pulsed five pips on the screen, one for each Dragon Ball, gathered together at a location west-north-west in the mountainous terrain of the northern continent. There he found a base that was all but seemingly deserted. Yet they were here somewhere.
Saizomaru descended down towards the base before perching himself on the roof of a large, dome-shaped building—no doubt the main structure of the place. Placing his hand on the skylight, tremendous amounts of heat began to radiate through his palm. Slowly the glance began to heat from a dull red to a bright orange before melting and expanding outward until a large hole had formed. Quickly the android hopped inside, feet tapping against the metal tiles of the chamber floor. Now all he had to do was follow the path laid out for him by the radar.
Twists and turns and descents was the path he took as he made his way to the exact location of the Dragon Balls. He found himself on the first level, a descent of four floors, with no sight of anyone here. Whoever picked this place to relax was most assuredly someone affiliated with the Saiyan Kingdom—and a high-ranking member to be able to access this place alone.
Then, finally, the android stopped. In front of him was a steel door slightly ajar. A dim light poured through the gap in the doorframe, which met his eyes when he peeked in. There, he saw a figure sat at a console, unmoving, as though waiting for something.
The steel slid against the top of the door frame as he pushed it open.
"♪Hello!♫" he called out in a gentle, sing-song voice. "♪Is it me you're looking for?♫"
He couldn't help but smirk at his own goofiness.
He took a few steps inside, then stopped. Several meters of distance split himself from the person in the chair. "You've got something I need. Five of them, actually," he said. "I'm gonna need you to hand them over. Or we can settle on a deal. Like… I trade you a twenty thousand zenni gift voucher for them. Fair trade, right?"

It was quite a boring job, sitting there and waiting for the loading bar to complete. Well, Nashua supposed it wasn't her job, per say, but it was part o it, technically. Basically, it needed to load in order for her to do her job, and so waiting for it to load had sort of become her job. Even the scouter she wore on her face had a more efficient operating system than this damn thing, though. It now sat at twelve percent loaded. Amazing. Nashua continued to roll the six star Dragon Ball around in her hands, when she heard footsteps and the creak of a door outside her office space. One of the recruits must have gotten back from their patrol, she figured. Sure enough, the door to her room swung open soon after, and she looked up to see... Not a Saiyan.
"Uh..." she mumbled with a raised eyebrow, though her heart skipped a beat when the man mentioned that she had 'five of something' that he wanted. "Whaa? No, psh, I don't know what you're talking about," Nashua said, feigning dumb as she shrugged, only realizing a moment too late that she was literally holding one of the Dragon Balls in her hand. She paused and glanced over at it for a moment or two, mentally punching herself, before sighing and placing it firmly on the desk in front of her. "Okay, look, I can't hand these over, sorry," she curtly began, standing up from her seat to get a closer look at the strange looking man. He looked human, mostly, with long, white hair that rivaled the length of her own. It was kind of impressive, actually, that he didn't even need to tie it up in a ponytail.
Or, he didn't want to.
But that wasn't really important - he was probably an enemy if he wanted the Balls for himself. "Do you even know what these are?" she asked, folding her arms in front of her. "Cause, I do, and if you do, then you'd know they're worth infinitely more than any kind of Zeni you could offer me. Not that I care much about Zeni in the first place..." she paused for a second, shaking her head and steeling herself before sternly finishing, "So, sorry, no deal. I'd like it if you could leave me and these Balls alone now to do some work, if you'd be so kind. And make sure to close the door behind you so the cold air doesn't get in, the heating system in this place is pretty terrible."

He had hoped that whatever this girl was trying to accomplish was with a notion of snark and sarcasm. They judging from her reaction afterward, that wasn't the case. She wasn't exactly one for subtlety if she was trying to pass off her ignorance with blatant contradiction.
The android rolled his eyes. How did someone this dumb manage to get a Dragon Ball?
Regardless, Nashua was not one for giving up something so valuable so easily. The deal was off the table. But, speaking of tables, the android's sapphire eyes glanced over to the obsidian-orange orb that sat upon the desk now. Those six stars glowed a bright, metallic red in the light that refracted through it from the monitor screen. All six of them.
Six of them.
"Yeah, yeah—seven magic balls that summon a dragon to grant wishes," droned Saizomaru with a shooing flick of a wrist. "I got the memo some time ago. You think I'd find them if I didn't know what they were?"
His eyes shifted back to the ball. He had seen it before, and only the one time before.
"What I would like to know, however, is where you found that one," he said as he gestured to the ball on the desk with a finger. "And you can count on me not budging an inch until you give me a truthful answer."
He had already known where she got it. The only thing he wanted was whether or not her compliance was a factor in things. Perhaps a discussion in good faith could lead to more favourable bargains than simple monetary offerings.

Out of curiosity, Nashua tapped her scouter to check for a power level from the man in front of her, clocking him in at a solid 100,000. He wasn't as strong as her, that was good. With any luck, he was sitting in some transformed state, and this was as strong as he could become. Not that she wanted to fight him, obviously - but just in case things went south, which she had seen them become before more times than she'd have liked. Though, so far she had had a pretty safe career on Earth when it came to non hostile Dragon Ball confrontations, so maybe her streak would hold up...? This guy definitely had a certain amount of sass to him that Nashua wasn't the hugest fan of, but at least he wasn't outright hostile straight off the bat with her.
As the white haired man gestured down to the Ball on the desk, Nashua reached forward to roll it back to her side, safely in her grasp. Why did he want to know where she got it? The Saiyan gave the human a slightly suspicious look before responding, "I took it from this Saiyan named Carro. He Didn't fulfill his end of a deal we had made, so I thought it'd just be safer if I held onto these instead." Perhaps she might have been putting Carro in some kind of danger by throwing his name out there, but she could always call ahead and warn him if things took a turn for the worse. Besides, he wasn't exactly a pushover - he could hold his own as long as he had that giant robot cat thing with him to help.
"Why do you want to know, anyway?" she asked, placing one of her hands on her hip and the other gently tossing the Dragon Ball up and down in the air. "And, I'm not lying, that's all there is to it. There's two more out there somewhere I've been trying to track down to no avail so far, but I'll zero in on them eventually, I hope." This guy seemed to fluctuate between intense and regularly inquisitive so far, and it was a bit hard for Nashua to get a read on him. Was he a good guy or a bad guy? The longer he went without making some kind of aggressive move, the more she was hopefully leaning towards the former.

Saizomaru PL: 100,000 (Base)
It seemed as though there were plenty of deals being made in regards to the ownership of these Dragon Balls. A shame that Saizomaru was being kept out of the loop, but at least it allowed him to bide his time until the majority of the orbs were gathered in one location for easy pickings—or at least hopeful easy pickings.
Perhaps this was why Carro had not decided to give the android the Dragon Balls he had for safe keeping. If he had given them away before this girl came to collect on her debt, then there was no telling what she would have done to him, if anything. He could not tell whether she was a righteous one or a malignant force.
A choice word leaned him to the side of the former.
"Safer, huh…?" he muttered as he placed a finger and thumb on his chin. He eyed her from top to bottom, head to toe. Her saiyan heritage was apparent through her attire—the usual saiyan armor and uniform design. However, her lack of tail was concerning. As strong as she was, near equal to his own power, this was all that she could muster. Against most other foes she would be outclassed.
So exactly how safe were they in her possession?
"Don't worry. I know you're not lying," he responded to her with a small smile. "Was just checking your moral compass, so to speak. An eye for an eye, a, uh… truth for a truth, I guess?"
The android made a humorous hum as he began to approach the girl. "Truth is, we share a common acquaintance. I've known Carro for a while now. Even fought together when we took back Satan City from the World Trade Fleet." He looked towards the screen. A silence grew between the two as the android's eyes were fixated on the small loading bar at the bottom of the screen. They narrowed as he grunted a little. The tip of his index finger flipped downward to reveal a small USB jack, which he then plugged in to the computer tower. Windows and prompts began to flash quickly.
"I tried to cut a deal with the kid to keep the Dragon Balls safe with me. We both knew I was the best option, but he wasn't all that trusting of me. Don't blame him. I wouldn't trust me, either."
The screen turned white as a new page opened up. It loaded a lot faster than the first. "Thought I'd put Baogle Gold on your machine," he said with a smirk. "Faster, but fills the RAM and cache like a bitch. I'm sure your setup can handle it, though." He removed his finger from the port, and the tip of the digit flipped back into place seamlessly.
Then, once more, he turned to the girl as he parked his read on the corner of the desk. "Look—we have the same goal here. All we want is to keep these balls out of evil hands," Saizomaru continued. "So I ask again: hand them over to me and I'll keep them safe. Or, in the very least, give me the greater half of them. The more they're split up, the more time they'll have to spend trying to gather them all."

Though she was initially still kind of tense over this new person, when he mentioned that he was an acquaintance of Carro himself, Nashua's shoulders dropped slightly with relief. If Carro trusted him, then she supposed she could, too. The President of Earth was a pretty nice guy all around, if slightly timid and forgetful. But if this guy had even fought shoulder to shoulder with the ginger Saiyan in a battle against the World Trade Fleet, then Nashua could definitely trust him herself, too. "Wow, that's impressive," she replied, and her tone of voice reflected her surprise quite well. "Well, any enemy of the World Trade Fleet is an ally of mine," the Saiyan added with a nod of her head, her posture relaxing and her hands folding in front of her crotch with the Dragon Ball still gripped in one of them.
She watched curiously as he plugged his... Finger(?) into the computer, booting up some kind of new program into the hunk of junk she'd been trying to use this whole time. Nashua was pretty sure humans didn't have USB ports in their fingers naturally, though. At least, Ramen definitely didn't. "Wait... Are you one of those human looking Androids I've heard about?" she asked inquisitively, eyeing the man's face more closely to try and tell if he was made of metal or not, though she really couldn't tell by appearance alone. "Or do you just have a robot hand or a finger or something?" Nashua's curiosity was quite piqued, though she supposed that wasn't exactly too important to focus on for the moment, as he brought up the topic at hand in a way she really hadn't been hoping he would.
"Um," she mumbled, her grip on the six star Ball tightening back up once more. "Well, you see, much as I'd like to trust you with these, I really think they'd be best off with me." She began to turn the Ball over in her hand somewhat nervously, though she tried to remain calm and cool looking to the humandroid guy. Nashua wasn't sure how successful her attempt at looking calm was, though. "My own power and wit is the one thing I've been able to really depend on lately, and while I can see you're strong, I'd still trust myself with these more in order to make sure the wish I've been working towards is granted. It's just too important for me to have to put more risk into, you know? I'm sure you can understand." She at least hoped he would understand. Ramen had already expressed plenty of doubt at Nashua's chances of success when it came to relying on her own power.
But her own power was all Nashua felt like she could rely on sometimes - she was plenty strong, even without a tail!

The android couldn't help but smirk at the girl's praise. As good as it was to have been able to do some good in the world on a large scale, there was still that sore spot for when the Federation of Planets Rebels decided to have the gall to interrupt the group's work. As well as it all worked out in the end, it was still a scar on Saizomaru's pride regardless of how much he tried to make peace with the outcome.
At least now he had an ally if the World Trade Fleet ever tried to put forth an invasion of Earth. At least, he hoped so.
"Yeah, I'm an android," he responded to her query. He raised his hand and flexed his fingers slowly in succession. "Got me a new body some time ago. Kinda like a late Christmas present to myself, I guess. Shoulda seen what I looked like before. I did look pretty awesome back then."
But regardless of how well the two seemed to get along, there was seemingly no middle ground, no compromise, for the two of them. As much as Saizomaru had expected such a thing, he couldn't help but feel the heavy weight of disappointed perch itself on his shoulders and push him down like a rock.
He did say even he wouldn't trust himself, though.
"Power and wit, huh…?" He shook his head with a sigh. Then, he placed his palms on the desk to push himself off and onto his feet. He began to walk away from the girl towards the door, but stopped a foot from the doorway.
"I've met a few people who think that they have the power and wit to overcome any adversary," he said as he delved his hands into his pockets, drumming his fingers against his hips through them. He tilted his head back, gazing up and the ceiling, and chuckled. "Hell, I'm even dating one. Yet, despite how strong she is, she never could beat me in a fight."
His head turned to look at Nashua over his shoulder. "Let's see how far your wit and power takes you."
Quickly his hand withdrew from his pockets. Between his fingers held half a dozen shuriken, A snap of his waist and arm and a flick of his wrist sent each one bolting towards the saiyan girl, aiming for her torso—the only place where she was protected.
With the stakes so high, he wasn't about to hold back for long.

"Wow, that's cool," Nashua mumbled as she studied the humandroid's boy up and down quite thoroughly. The wonders of science and technology continued to amaze her with every new invention she came across. She'd seen robots and stuff that had sentience, but never one that looked quite so lifelike as this. She had to resist the urge to poke at his flesh to see if it was still squishy like a normal human's. "Maybe you can show me a picture sometime..." she mumbled as she still tried and failed to find any kind of outward indication of his Android side. It was a bit existentially doubting to the Saiyan, as she had to wonder just how many people she'd met before were really secretly Androids that were designed to look like humans or other aliens, but in all likelihood, people like him were a rarity.
It seemed their confrontation was coming to an end, though, as he began to walk away. Nashua realized only then that she had yet to catch his name, though it was probably too late to ask for that. Maybe if they bumped into each other again - which seemed likely - she could ask him next time. Nashua's attention was piqued back up when the humandroid started talking about her power and wit line, though, and the hairs on the back of her neck stood up something fierce. He wasn't about to attack her in the middle of their cramped office room in the base, was he? He was. The flick of his hand sent twelve sharp, metal objects flying right at Nashua, which were probably flying with more than enough speed and power to cut her skin and do some hurt. So Nashua grabbed the one thing on hand that worked as a convenient shield.
The computer monitor.
The Saiyan ripped it from its place on the desk and held it in front of herself, all the metal blades he'd thrown at her torso sticking firmly into the back of it and ending its poor, miserable. life. "Hey, I was gonna do work on that!" Nashua exclaimed with frustration, failing to consider how she was the one who had brought it into harm's way. Either way, if he was sporting for a fight, she was happy to oblige. Nashua leapt straight forward and over the humandroid's head into the main room, which was a far less claustrophobic area to do battle in. Plus, it was where her own weapon was: her trusty spear! Nashua scooped it up off the wall she'd left it leaning on and twirled around on her heel to properly face the robot man. "You want a fair fight, at least let me arm myself before you go swingin'!" she exclaimed.

The saiyan girl was quick to show her wit. Thudding noises echoed loudly in the room as the blades of the throwing stars pierced and embedded themselves into the monitor, protruding enough for their spiked ends to pierce through the glass screen on the other side. Shards of the screen dropped against the hard flooring, letting out a melody of chimes without rhythm.
As good her reaction was, so was her agility. Lithe and spry and light on her feet, Nashua vaulted over the android before making her way into the foyer-like room behind him.
If she had used her acrobatics to dodge his attacks, she wouldn't have had to worry about getting her monitor broken.
Saizomaru turned towards her, his expression sober. Narrowed eyes glared straight through her that no amount of protective armor or barriers could deny. "Foolish child," he groaned. His hand reached behind him, grasping at something held within the sash. As he withdrew his arm out, in his grip held a small, carbon fibre hilt. "You think your enemies would grant you such reprieve?" A slick of an orange button on the side of the handle extended outward a straight-edged katana blade.
He bolted across the room towards his opponent, leaving grooves in his wake where the pressure of ki tore through the tiles and concrete. As he got within a few feet of Nashua, the android brought his blade down in a diagonal cut, starting from her left shoulder down to the right side of her hips.
There was little doubt she would block it. If she had a weapon, then she was trained to use it sufficiently.

It looked like the Android was more than ready to continue fighting back, as he drew forth his own weapon: an impressive looking blade that extended straight from the hilt like one of those lightsabers, only this one was a steel katana with a tip that looked sharp enough to slice the air itself in half. Luckily, Nashua's spear was as firm and sturdy as her resolve, and it was doubtful it would break to even the most unbending of blades. "Well, I like to think they would," Nashua replied, getting herself down into a proper stance and holding her spear tightly in both of her hands. "Buut you're probably right. I should just keep this thing on me at all times. Just figured nobody wold actually show up to the base to try and fight me right now..."
Excuses or not, though, she'd been caught relatively off guard. But now the ground was even between the two of them. The Android samurai was the first to strike, lunging forward at incredible speeds and swinging his blade down at Nashua's left shoulder for what was most certainly a powerful strike. Powerful or not, though, Nashua did have a very slight advantage over him when it came to strength and speed. That, and his attack was fairly well telegraphed. The Saiyan woman brought her spear straight up to block the blow, and a loud clang rang out throughout the area as the warrior's blade met with the ambassador's glaive. The blades clashed against each other and Nashua flinched back slightly, though she managed to hold him back. "I didn't catch your name, by the way," she said as their weapons pressed against one another.
The Saiyan thrust back to attempt to throw the humandroid off his balance, or at least end the clash of their blades, and spun her weapon around above her head with some impressive speed in an attempt to slam the blunt end of it against the side of the Android's head. "I'm Nashua, if you were wondering yourself!"

It was hardly any surprise to Saizomaru that the girl was able to bring up the shaft of her glaive to block the edge of his blade. A metallic clang rang out into the foyer as steel struck against steel, reverberating through the hall and beyond. Bright yellow sparks spread and flew from the impact of the two weapons. Neither one gave way, not even so much of an inch, and one struggled against the other—Unstoppable force against the immovable object, indeed.
"Then you think wrong, girl," the android replied as he gazed at her from between the crossed metal. "Regardless of shape and size, power and weakness, your enemies all have one thing in common—" he pushed back harder, the blade of his sword now glowing a violet-blue shine as ki poured into it "—they will do whatever it takes to win. There is no fairness in war. Only the thin blue line between life… and death."
He would use this time to teach that simple, callous philosophy of reality to her.
While Nashua posed enough of her strength to push the android back, it was all that she could accomplish. Saizomaru was well equipped for combat efficiency through both robotic construction and components. His gyros kept him balanced and his processing speeds granted him much greater reaction times than most humanoids. As the pommel of the glaive came to plough into the side of his head, he brought up a hand, palm outward, to stop it in its tracks and hold it in place in a vice-like grip.
"You can call me Sai," the android responded with a small smile on his face. "Gotta keep things brief and simple. Life's too short for complexities."
With the saiyan's weapon now held in place, Saizomaru flung his other hand outward, throwing his sword at her with a flick of a wrist that sent the blade spinning on its horizontal axis like a saw blade, the edge aligned to cleave cleanly through her neck if she didn't have any way to avoid such a strike.

Sai was his name, huh? That was pretty short and sweet. "Good to meet you, Sai," Nashua replied shortly after, in the midst of her spear maneuver. It seemed that Sai had not been as thrown off by her thrust as she had been expecting him to be, though - the Saiyan had been anticipating the Android would've failed to react in time to such a quick blow to his head in the time it'd have taken him to recover his balance. His balance, though, seemed as if it had barely even been affected by her thrust, and instead of a blunt whack to the ear, Nashua's spear met the firm palm of Sai's hand, and a tight grip around it rendered her unable to simply pull it back and try something else. Well, that was a blunder on her part that was almost going to cost her her neck.
The humandroid's blade swung towards Nashua's neck with deadly precision and speed, with an aim that seemed intent on rending her head straight from her neck. He was actually trying to kill her! Well, no way was Nashua letting that happen! The Saiyan managed to shift the end of her spear that she was still gripping upwards, and the weapon lifted just barely in time for her to twist herself around it and block the weapon with it. "Okay, I guess I should've been expecting lethal strikes," she mumbled, though not really at Sai in particular, more just letting her thoughts loose to keep her head clear and focused on the combat side of things. For now, she needed to get her weapon free from his grip.
Nashua bent forward and tried to leverage her own weight off the top of her weapon, before springing back up in the opposite direction and sending out a rapid pair of aerial kicks straight for Sai's face, her full weight resting atop the metal bar that was her spear. If he wasn't gonna drop it, then she could at least try and use it against him in ways she still could! The Saiyan was quite prepared to drop herself back down more gently with flight if he did happen to release his iron grip on it, though - she couldn't get too careless when it came to taking advantage of weapons her opponent was wielding.

Saizomaru PL: 100,000 (Base)
Saizomaru smiled with an amused hum. "Good—we've got the pleasantries out of the way," he said in a light, cheerful tone.
Though what he was more interested in was the girl's combat effectiveness and efficiency. She was well trained with a polearm, that much was certain. She was able to deflect his blade with the smallest of movements, showing her proficiency with such armaments. For someone so young, she learned so much that most older practitioners have yet to grasp. Her application of such skills in the midst of real combat proved as much.
And yet, with the more she showed, the more Saizomaru was beginning to understand. The more she fought, the more of her movements he was watching, recording, learning.
Now the girl was displaying the use of an opponent's force against themselves. Like a pole-vaulter, she sprung up overhead with her hands wrapped tight around the top of the shaft, using the android's hand as the pivoting point for the arc. She stretched out her legs, using the momentum to drive her limbs into his face.
But she was airborne. A vulnerable position to be in.
Now that Saizomaru had the advantage on leverage and force, he twisted his hips and thrust his arm forward to throw the glaive from his grasp, and in turn pushing Nashua out of reach of him, negating her attack and creating a deal of distance between the two. Then, he held out his right hand with an open palm. Quickly the sword that had embedded itself into the ground came spinning back to him before his fingers gripped tight around the handle once more.
"A'ight—I'll admit you're pretty good," praised the android as he twirled his wrist, spinning the glowing katana on a vertical axis. "Though maybe I should get a little more aggressive."
Like a bolt of lightning, Saizomaru bolted from where he once was to within feet of the girl. The glowing blade of his sword thrummed a high-pitched tone like the chirping of birds. He brought it up to strike her across her abdomen in a low arc, from bottom to top.
"Force Blade!"

Nashua's trusty twist and flip maneuver sort of worked. The key words being sort of. She flipped up quite athletically, though before she could get her kicks off, Sai flung her spear away, which in turn cost her the stable ground she'd been depending on. It was a good thing she'd been anticipating the loss of footing - er, handing - as it made for a quick aerial recovery using a small amount of basic ki flight. The Saiyan touched down gently a few meters away, her weapon now firmly back in her own grasp. People sure liked grabbing it out of her hands, huh? If only there was some kind of precaution for that... She'd figure something out eventually, probably. For now, she had to continue to figure out how to deal with this dang Android samurai guy who seemed intent on slicing her head off her neck.
"Thanks!" she exclaimed when he complimented her skill so far. That was actually quite nice of him. "You're pretty good with that sword thing, too," she replied. It was only polite to return compliments when you were able to, of course. But Sai seemed ready to kick things up a notch, and Nashua's scouter beeped out a warning for his next strike: there was a high amount of ki energy charged within the blade this time, so regular blocking wouldn't do. She'd just have to meet his power with some of her own, and that she would. In fact, she could overpower him! Nashua began to focus her ki into her spear as she'd done so many times before, preparing herself for the strike of his blade. And once it was close enough, she struck!
The Saiyan's spear struck out to meet Sai's blade, and it did, but with all the more energy she'd poured into it, it overpowered the attack, and while its strength was slightly diminished slightly by the clashing of blows, it was still more than strong enough for Nashua to lunge forward and attempt to drive the ki infused spear towards the Android's chest. "Hraaah!" she exclaimed as it sailed forth, feeling both powerful and confident. Obviously it still didn't pack the power to pierce through and skewer him - which Nashua certainly didn't want to do - but if it hit, it'd be powerful enough to cause some hurt and send him flying back.
