Fumbling around in his room, Hale was like a kid on Frieza Day opening the box he had broke home with him. After the interactions with Synthesia he decided it best not to stay in the Pride Troopers base, but he didn't let that damper his spirits as he pulled the box open with all the excitement he could manage. His eyes seemed to grow wider by the second as he tossed everything aside but the outfit he held up in front of himself with the Pride Trooper's logo and colors displayed proudly, and did a little jump around the room waving it as he did. Despite his less than positive experiences he was still excited to finally wear these colors, as he had looked up to the Pride Troopers ever since hearing about them and especially since coming to Earth.
Flying back towards North City it took everything he had not to pose in mid air now wearing the full spandex Pride Troopers outfit, and Kami help any bad guys who might cause a scene today because Hale was in a mood to pull out the hero act. His eyes focused in on the Pride Troopers HQ as he flew over head towards the center of town, and as if chime's from heaven started to ring and alarm went off below. His face started to stretch with a wide smile and he lifted his arm and pushed a few buttons on his watch, speaking into it. "Hey, anyone available to come help me stop what looks to be a bank robbery?", calling Pride Troopers HQ for backup. This was his first time out in the uniform or on duty, and he wanted to take a more veteran member with him even if he didn't need the backup. Lowering himself closer to the scene, he saw a man walk out with a woman tied up over his shoulder and a second coming out behind him aiming his palm at a car, thankfully empty, and shot a ki blast towards it. It might have been unlikely he needed help, but maybe calling for backup here wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Luckily for Hale, his wish to work with a veteran of the Pride Troopers would soon be granted, not just once, but twice! At roughly the same time that Hale was entering North City, the heroic duo of Makamorph and Voltex also made their way there all the way from West City. Initially the two were simply going to the main base to hand in reports and leave information on the status in West City in as much of a punctual manner as they could given their line of work. ‘A heroes work is never done’ was a saying for a reason, after all.
Which was immediately true as the two of them caught a message for backup. At least this time they weren’t unable to show up and help! The call was coming from a familiar voice— Hale. They already knew him as their civilian selves, so they would have to feign ignorance for the most part on knowing him personally somewhat. "Copy that. On the way. We will observe from nearby rooftops and then act accordingly to the situation." Makaimorph responded, easily able to zero in on Hale’s Ki.
The two swerved around and made their way over to the scene, each perching themselves on nearby low rooftops on either side of the street to survey the situation just as Hale did from his own angle. This was a bank robbery alright, two of what could be many more robbers even had a hostage! To make matters worse, one of them was keen to cause some equally destruction with equally ill intent. Would these Pride Troopers be having any of that? Hah, no way! Like a bolt of lightning, Voltex dove down, catching the comparatively pitiful Ki blast in one hand when they landed. "Ohohoho, I think not, ne’erdowell!" Delightfully hammy as ever, Voltex had made quite the distraction. The Makaimorph saw an easy opening; swiftly shapeshifting into a tiny red dragonfly, zeroing in on the criminal that had the hostage, using incredible speed and magical finesse to free the woman from those crude bonds so she could move and speak on her own again! However, there was still a few things to settle— and Hale had his chance to make an impact too!

Not only did one member show up to help, two did, and they were dressed to impress! His excitement was met with a bit of caution this time around as his first meeting with members of the Pride Troopers didn't go nearly as well as he had hoped or imagined. The two jumped into action immediately, one even stopping the attack nearly as fast as Hale saw it launched, and it was immediately then he realized the difference between himself and these two heroes. In Hale's mind it was about protecting the people and not wanting to jump in given his unfortunate proclivity to cause just as much collateral damage as those causing it on purpose so the car wasn't even a factor in his mind to protect. These two however were precise and looked to want to keep harm and destruction to absolute minimums and that was something Hale could appreciate.
It felt like an eternity that he watched impressed of the two that had appeared, but it was only seconds before Hale joined them on the ground. Even by the time he had landed they had managed to free the hostage in sight and had the situation under control. "Thanks for the help guys. I figured for my first time out as a new member, maybe it didn't hurt to get some help. What's the plan? I'm pretty new at this and my plan was wait to see who else might have come out and start punching people." Rubbing his neck with a nervous laugh, a bit embarrassed by that fact. "Nice to meet you guys by the way, I'm Hale". He had walked over as he talked, grabbing the two men that he had seen thus far and picking them both up and holding them at his sides as they struggled in vain to get free.

After getting over a moment of shock, the hostage wrestled themselves free while the robber was confused. She would’ve simply fell to the floor had Voltex not zipped over to catch her and support her for the moment while she regained her barings. "You shall be fine, I am here to protect you." Voltex said triumphantly.
Profanities against ‘meddlesome heroes’ were slung by both robbers now, but it was clear that they were smart enough to not try anything. Since they were so focused on the Makaimorph and Voltex, the two of them barely noticed Hale approach and yank them off their feet.
The Makaimorph shape-shifted back to normal, approached Hale and bowed slightly. "Not a problem at all. Asking for assistance is naught to be ashamed of." With a nod to Hale, Makaimorph continued. "Everyone starts somewhere, and if a criminal only lets up when finally unconscious, sometimes it is necessary to let fists fly." Squirming in Hale’s hold, the Ki using robber glared metaphorical daggers at the Makaimorph, which quickly turned into something a bit more literal— "I am-" Before the hero could could introduce himself properly, two thin laserbeams erupted from the robber’s eyes hitting the Makaimorph’s helmet. The lasers weren’t much but an annoyance, so the Makaimorph simply raised a hand and redirected the lasers back into the criminal’s eyes, causing them to yelp in pain. As a result their cohort began to sweat profusely in nervousness. "As I was saying. I am the Makaimorph, and the one guarding the lady is Voltex— it is nice to meet you, Hale." Even though they technically already met before, as their civilian selves... "If you could use these, restrain those two and leave them to be watched by Voltex, we can go inside the building and see if anything else is amiss. Does that sound good to you?" The Makaimorph asked while using his magics to conjure a set of restraints on the ground for Hale to use on each of the criminals.

These two didn't just act like full blown super heroes, they even talked like it as far as he could tell. "Yeah, I suppose there is nothing wrong with sending a good punch, but I admit I don't always know my own strength, let alone other's own strength very well, so I'm a bit worried about hurting these weaker Earthlings.", shaking his arms a bit and looking down at the wriggling Humans as if they were little children almost. All Hale could manage was a bit of a confused blink as the beams went one way then another, and he looked down at the now screaming robber and sighed, dropping him on the ground and placing a foot on top of him, then looking at the other he still held. "You aren't gonna do something stupid like that are you?" giving him a bit of a squeeze.
"The Maka...Maki...hm..." Hale kept trying to mimic the name. "Makaimorph. That's not an easy one for me to say for some reason.", looking over and frowning a bit as he had almost forgotten about the hostage, he gave a soft nod. "Voltex, now that's a solid and much easier to pronounce name." Nodding once more he dropped the second criminal and just glared at him and pointed "Don't move.", as he grabbed and restrained the first of the two, then reached down restraining the second as well and gave a bit of a wave to Voltex and pointed towards the two. "They are all yours." Giving a bit of a wave he turned and motioned for Makaimorph to go ahead. "I'm right behind you. Though I'm really hoping nothing else is in here because last time I tried to stop a bank robbery I ended up having to take out a loan to pay for a new vault door. I may have ripped it off to try and stop someone and...well it's a bit embarrassing in hindsight."

The Makaimorph nodded in consideration of Hale’s self assessment. "Perhaps, if you are not against the use of technological aid you could procure a scouter. That aside, perhaps I could teach you the method of sensing Ki sometime?" He offered. Staring down the robbers just as Hale did, the criminals were in no position to cause any trouble anymore, not with the looks they were being given. The stern look of a large Arcosian and the soul piercing gaze of a crimson armored knight was more than enough to dispel any illusion that the duo of criminals had any sway here. "If they are smart, they won’t cause any further trouble."
Hale did have a point too, the name was a bit grand in comparison to most others, but the hero in question had a relaxed attitude about it. "Fair enough, allies and friends tend to go for ‘Makai’. I certainly won’t mind if you do so yourself." Makaimorph waited patiently for Hale to give the criminals over to Voltex, who gave Hale a salute before taking to their duty with gusto. "Indeed. It is striking, like the lightning they command."
As the duo of Hale and Makaimorph moved toward the bank, the latter leaned over to the former with a slight chuckle. "That being said, you should hear their ‘full’ title. He visits children in the hospital sometimes, they find his jolly attitude makes them feel better. I myself am not so.. Well equipped, but there are youths that find me ‘cool’ I suppose." There was a high chance he was simply being modest though, those like him tend to be.
"Well, that just goes to show you— despite any shortcomings, you do your best to grow. Most don’t think to help with any collateral damage. Besides, lives have more worth than doors." After entering the bank proper, the Makaimorph decided to extend his Ki sense to see if there was anything suspicious to be felt. In doing so, he closed his eyes to help make it easier. "Keep your eyes peeled for anything strange. I am extending my senses to cover ground."
