Bloom’s PL: 24,000 | 72,000 Ki Suppression: Active (Reads as 5)
Bloom’s wanderings took her all over the world. The last time that she’d been around Mt. Paozu was for that strange meeting with Neo, Chime, and God. She knew at least Chime was looking for the dragonballs, but she hadn’t really heard from Neo lately. Not after that whole thing at Satan City. With the tournament cancelled now too, she had no one to vent this pent up aggression on. Well, what was left of it. Her friend having tried to kill her just for a win still left a pretty bad taste in her mouth. There was also that thing with Mumbo and the mercenary group. Letting out a hefty sigh, Bloom smacked into the side of a huge tower in the desert. What the heck? This hadn’t been here before. Sliding off the wall and flopping to the sand below, she stared up at it. How had she missed this? She scratched her head. Well, it was something different she guessed. Wonder if someone lived here or something. Picking herself up, Bloom bounced to her feet. “Yo…! Anybody home…?”Floating up, Bloom circled the tower, checking it out. If no one was here maybe she would just wreck the place. Or raid it for food. Probably that one. Oh, a nap would be nice too. Mm. Wrecking it was probably too much work anyway. She decided to try to goad one last reaction out of anyone that might be residing in the tower. “If no one’s home, I’m gonna raid your fridge…”

Kyabe-sode! "Okay, Pop. Just gotta do what you said..huh!" What was Kyabe grunting about now? Well, for the sake of context, Kyabe had expressed how annoyed he was with his inability to fly as his father could. In response to this, his father had decided to teach him the basics of flight and levitation, and what have you. What he did with the information, was totally up to him. In addition to this, his father had taught him how to hone in on sensing Ki signatures and sniffing out power signatures alike. Useful stuff, he had to admit. Thus, what lead Kyabe to throw himself off of a building and take off near immediately. Struggling to maintain speed, but expertly keeping himself afloat, so really, there was no danger. "Woo!" He exclaimed, happy that he no longer had to take the bus, or ferry or anything anymore! Man, if this is what being independent was like, he had now seen what the big whoop was all about. Nevertheless, it was through this, that he had found himself being flung into the upcoming story of Bloom and Hale. As the youth soared through the air, he had successfully taken himself from The East, where he lived, and to the Southern Tropics! He could tell; As the heat had seemed to be cranked up just in the air alone-! Not to mention the fact that there was literal sand for as far as the eye can see. Good thing Pop taught him that whole Ki signature stuff. As he thrust through the air, the boy noticed a relatively smaller signature. He outweighed it by a serious margin, but it was worth investigating even so, right? Better believe it, the boy affirmed to himself. Dropping down as gently as he could, he had found himself before a mighty tower, as well as a decently pale-blue lady that he had never seen before in all of his days. Kyabe's tail waved ever casually as he waved a hand in greeting. "Oi! Hiya!" He called.

Tebooleh was feeling rather comfortable as he flew over the Diablo Desert. While the air was baking hot, he was flying fast enough to create a breeze around him. His clothes, designed to be light and loose, helped to carry that breeze over his body... And the thawb that he wore over his tunic and trousers was freshly clean and a brilliant white. It not only reflected the sun's light, it also helped to keep the heat off of his body. His keffeyeh, meanwhile, shielded his head from the hot sun just as well. And with it wrapped up over his mouth, moisture would have a harder time leaving his body in his breath.
Still, even with the proper clothing, the air was bone dry. Flying through it for a long period of time without rest could still leave a hardy, prepared body thirsting. While the three-eyed man did have a waterskin, he wanted to conserve it for as long as possible. Or at least be able to refill it after he drank his fill. Which was why he was heading to a particular spot that he'd flown over the last time he was in the Diablo region. A little well, hidden in the rocks, carved by some kind soul for those traveling through the desert in need of a drink. Or perhaps it was the last remnant of some old town. Either way, he'd drank from its waters the last time he'd been through the area. And he remembered them being almost sweet to the taste... He began to slow down as he got close to the location. His eyes were peeled for the landmarks that he remembered being around the well on his last visit.
He found a few of them, the old giant cactus, the rock structure shaped like a hammer, the mountain in the distance. However, he also found a landmark that he distinctly did not remember being there. He stopped a few hundred feet from it and just stared at the great, stone monstrosity. It rose from the desert like some strange blend of pyramid and old castle tower. The kind that he had seen on the corners of the outer walls in old books and art. Just what had built this? A normal work crew would have taken months to complete even the shell of such a place. Yet here it was, mere weeks after his last trek through this desert. And it appeared to have infrastructure of its own in place, since there were electric lights showing through a few of the windows.
He crossed his arms and furrowed his brow as he continued to study the tower. His lips tightened just a bit... and he reached out with his extra senses to see if he could feel any sources of power within. He might have, but it was muddy... distant... Not like the pair of energy signatures that he felt just around the other side of the tower. One was weak and faint, about what you would expect from an average non-ki-user. The other? Well it was far below his own power, but it was far stronger than your average Earthling was. He decided it would be best to introduce himself. It wouldn't do to go flying around someone's home without saying "hello" and revealing your intentions. And if he could get into the owner's good graces, perhaps he could beg some water and a bit of bread from them. Or trade labor for it, that was the preferable option.
So it was that he flew around the tower, then slowly descended to the sand in front of a comely Majin girl and a chipper-looking Saiyan boy. Tebooleh didn't smile at them, but he kept his expression "neutral" and his voice low and even as he spoke to them.
"Are either of you the master of this house?"
After asking his question, he pulled the keffiyeh down from his nose and mouth, to below his chin. That way, the pair could see the entirety of his face. From the three brown eyes, to the sharp nose, to the olive skin, to his beard that had been trimmed to come to a point around his chin. Then he went back to crossing his arms as he eyed up each of the other wayward travelers.

No one would be surprised to look to the top of Muscle Tower and find Hale standing proudly atop, looking out over the desert as he regularly tended to do. What was becoming all too regular and an equal lack of surprise these days were the people suddenly showing up either curious or looking to find a way inside the tower. For months Hale was able to train and build without anyone but the occasional bandit poking their head in, but now it was a regular occurrence that he had guests, invited or otherwise, but at the very least few of them were hostile and it gave him a chance to meet new people.
Stepping off the side of the building he slid down the sloping roof and landed behind the guests with a thud, sand flying up around him, giving the three arrivals a blank stare. He had no idea what to make of the first right off the bat as he wasn't familiar enough with Majins to make her out as one. The second seemed fairly standard, despite the curious way they chose to dress, which if nothing else amused him greatly. The third he actually recognized even if only by just a bit and gave a bit of a chuckle remembering back to the situation with a biker gang and a hard headed young Saiyan. "Can I help you guys with something?" In his suppressed form Hale was shorter than he might have normally been, but he was still a few inches over six foot, and his arms crossed across his muscular chest. His eyes very slowly turned back to the Majin as a brow raised. "I'd prefer you not raid my fridge if you don't mind. You, I like your shirt. " Pointing towards Kyabe. "And you I vaguely remember. I'm the master of the house so to speak. Nice to meet you three."

Bloom’s PL: 24,000 | 72,000 Ki Suppression: Active (Reads as 5)
Bloom was just about to hop through a window when she sensed a couple someones around. This power signature came up behind her and greeted her with a friendly hello. She turned to see that it was...just some guy that she’d never seen before. With a shrug, she just gave him a casual wave with her leg half inside of a window. She pulled herself out and scratched her cheek. “Yo… This your place…?”Before the kid could answer, another guy came around the corner and asked them the same question. Bloom somehow doubted the kid owned this crazy place. That guess proved true when a lizard came floating down from the sky. Bloom grimaced. She’d only had bad experiences with their kind. Still, she didn’t wanna judge based off appearances alone. It was just that the last one that she’d fought had almost ended her so… “I’m Bloom…”The lizard had been nice enough to start with, so she figured she could introduce herself at least. Her stomach growled loudly in protest when he said she couldn’t just raid his fridge. Yeah, maybe if she weren’t hungry, she’d listen but...It was a desert. It wasn’t like she was gonna find another place to raid for a while. Still, she’d wait for her chance. Maybe when he was distracted with the other two. “So who are you guys…? What’s this tower…?”

"Hey," Kyabe restated, keeping his smile despite the staccato, weird way that Bloom responded to him. Blinking, he watched as she began fixing herself. Removing her leg from the window, and standing upright to face his direction. Her awkward cheek scratching was a dead giveaway that this place didn't belong to her. Smirking almost as others came and joined their small party. It was always nice to see new faces. One Triclops, and one lizard man. He had met only one of them before: Frore! Frore was nice, and so was this guy. "Me thinks you don't own this place..don't worry, I don't either. He does, though, apparently," He nodded to Hale. Looking at Tebooleh, Kyabe shook his head no. "Nope. I wish, this place looks fancy as heck," He chuckled. Quickly, though, he looked towards Hale now. His neck was definitely going to be sore by the time the introductions was over..! "Hi! Thank you, my momma got it for me," He replied, smiling and pulling on his shirt happily. "I could ask her to get another if you want," He began, though his focus was quickly regained. "I kinda caught Bloom here and was worried she needed help. Apparently not though, I guess, hehe!" Kyabe shrugged. "Uh, my name is Kyabe, by the way," He looked around, introducing himself to everyone present. "Watanabe Kyabe, local high schooler, and Turbo FighterZ lord." He smiled. Fuwwoing his brow now, though, he pointed at Tebooleh and Hale. "What about you two? I know you live here, but what's your name? And you! Mr. Tri-Eyes! What's your deal?" Tebooleh

In response to Hale's comment towards him, Tebooleh stiffened. How had the Arcosian recognized him? Hale wasn't able to sense energy at all! And Tebooleh wasn't wearing his "Saladdhin" mask. ...The young man never considered the fact that he was the same height as "Saladdhin". Or that he was wearing the exact same clothes. Oh, he also sounded exactly the same, since he'd never bothered to disguise his voice when he put the mask on. Still, he was on guard for a few moments. At least until people started introducing themselves and asking each other questions. Kyabe had the most. Tebooleh turned all three of his eyes towards the Saiyan. The tightened grimace he'd been wearing gave way back to the "neutral", vaguely grumpy, look that he'd given Bloom and Kyabe upon his arrival. " I do not actually live here. I was simply passing through. However..." He clenched his right hand into a fist, and slapped it against his chest before he continued. " I am Tebooleh, son of Ghanoush." Despite the hit to his chest, his name was delivered with as little emotion as the other two sentences had been. Once he had given it, he glanced between the Majin (Bloom), the Saiyan (Kyabe), and the Arcosian (Hale). They had all been introduced, more or less. Though Hale hadn't given his name, Tebooleh recalled hearing it during that same incident with the bikers and the other Saiyan boy. " As for my "deal", I was searching for a well near these parts." He licked his lips subconsciously as he recalled the taste of the water. He longed to drink from that well again, if only to see whether the sweetness was a false memory or a true one. Perhaps it had only tasted so good because he was nearly dead from thirst the last time (flying through the Diablo Desert took far longer at lower power levels). He turned his eyes towards the tower and narrowed them. He'd been following the landmarks properly, and he still hadn't found said well. Yet he had found the tower. " Though I am having trouble finding it again." His eyes turned back to Kyabe after he'd spoken. Then to Bloom. The Majin looked like she was starving, and her belly growled like a pair of lions were battling in her stomach. He sighed at the state of her, then turned to Hale. As soon as he was facing the Arcosian, Tebooleh bowed at the waist until his face was pointed to the sand. " Due to this, I would ask if you might spare some water and food for myself and these other travelers." He gestured to Kyabe and Bloom as he added them in. He didn't know if the Saiyan actually needed anything, but he probably wasn't taking the heat as well as Tebooleh was. " I have little money, but I would offer my services to your household in repayment." He straightened back up after the initial offer. He had a feeling he would regret covering for the other two. Saiyans had legendary appetites. It was said they could each devour an entire feast by themselves and still hunger for more. Majins could put away a decent amount, themselves. But he needed little. And he had many types of labor that he could offer. " I am knowledgeable in cooking, cleaning, hauling, mending of clothing, weaving of fresh cloth, planting of crops, tending to a garden, organizing, repairing generators of all kinds, repair of antique automobiles, plumbing installation and repair, simple repairs for stonework, woodworking, and martial arts. I also dabble in bookkeeping." Perhaps, if he worked extra hard, he would be able to work off the debt that the other two would incur on his behalf in a reasonable time. He doubted it would take less than a few weeks, especially if he added to his debt with meals and water for every day he stayed to work. But he could manage, and if Hale's dwelling was large enough to need a lot of care... Well Tebooleh might have found his new "well" to stop at whenever he was passing through. Hale

Slowly his eyes moved down as the growling stomach of the...whatever this person was, was loud enough for him to ear, and his brow very slowly raised as did his eyes. He was about to comment on it and offer her something to eat over trying to break into his tower, but was stopped as the others began to talk again. "Bloom, hm, nice name" Giving a nod then just blinking and feigning and impressed look towards Kyabe's response. "She has good taste then.", waving a hand dismissively. "Oh, no it's okay. I don't tend to wear clothes in the same way most other races and species do." He gave a quick nod and a thumbs up before crossing his arms. "Nice name and a nice shirt, good combo." Nodding with a grin, trying his best to be kind here, despite all the alarms going off in his mind given this entire situation. Once more he was about to say something and was stopped by conversation, but it wasn't so bad given all three seemed nice enough, but he kept looking over at the one who had tried essentially breaking into the tower, giving her sideways glances. "Well it's nice to meet, meet and re-meet you three. My name is Hale and this is Muscle Tower." He gave a bit of a laugh at the mention of offering services for food and water, giving a heavy dismissive wave. "You three, follow me. No need for all of that. I live out here by myself but I have stocks of food as that might be changing soon." He started to walk as if he simply expect them to keep up, walking fully around the other side of the tower where the proper entrance was. He gave another slight chuckle as Tebooleh started to give him a short resume of skills as if this were an impromptu job interview, stopping only to wave them inside as he opened his front door, a cool blast of air compared to the desert heat likely smacking them in the face the moment the door opened. "Come on in, we can talk more inside. Just don't go breaking anything." The inside first floor was one vast room with no walls but those to the outside and a single large pillar in the center most likely for stability sake. It looked to be nothing more than a giant training room, regardless of how impressive it might have been, but there was no sign on this floor at least of any sort of kitchen. A spiraling staircase wrapped around the thick pillar heading up to the second floor. "If you guys and gal are really that hungry and thirsty we will have to head up a few floors to get to the kitchen. This is the training area for future prospects and newcomers that might want to join Muscle Tower and my little group of heroes I guess you could call us. Have a look around or let me know when you want to head on up if you are that hungry.", glancing over specifically to Bloom. Majin Bloom

Bloom's PL: 24,000 | 72,000 Ki Suppression: Active (Reads as 5)
So the kid was called Kyabe. Well, she said kid. They were probably the same age actually. Bloom had just skipped out on school a long time ago to become a drifter. She wasn’t up on what the new video games were now either. Bloom grimaced. She really had become a bit of a hobo these past few years. Well, that was okay. It had been her choice. Napping, stealing food, scratching that fighting itch. She’d been pretty content with it all in all. She glanced over to the three eyed man when he started to speak. He had a...name. She had a feeling that she was gonna struggle with that one for a bit. Seemed like he was looking around for a well. Three Eyes immediately went up in her opinion when he asked Hale to give them some free eats. She tried not to let her predatory stare show too much. Her thoughts strayed from food when Hale gave the name of this place. “Muscle Tower, huh…? Kind of a weird name…”Bloom followed him inside like a hungry dog at the mention of food, looking around curiously at the training area. So this was some kind of dojo then? Group of heroes? Like the pride troopers? Frowning, Bloom moved away from the group a bit to examine the training area. Seemed like pretty sturdy construction. Big open space. She was getting that itch to fight again. She always did in places like this. “Mm...I dunno about these guys...but think you could train me a bit before lunch, Hale…? I wanna work up an appetite…”Bloom turned toward him. He’d been pretty hospitable so far. Nothing like the other lizard people she knew. He was pretty strong to boot. The prospect of fighting a stronger opponent always got her blood boiling. Of course, it would be pretty fun to fight Three Eyes too. A crooked smile worked its way onto her face. “How’s about it…?”

"Oh. Fair enough, fair enough. Checks out to me." Kyabe smiled. It seems like everyone here had their own reasons for joining up as coincedentally as they did. Blinking, he figured he'd save his breath for now. Looking at everyone as they spoke, simply nodding and shrugging every now and then. Only shaking his head when included in a request for water and food. "Nah, I ate a PB&J. Thank you, though." He smiled. Waving a hand. He followed like a pup to the pack, listening in here and there. Though, he examined the many facilities hosted by Hale. "Superhero? Say, if ya need an extra hand I have Yasairanger on speed dial!" He chimed. Though he kind of zoned out, the youth's ears perked as Bloom asked to be trained. "Hey! D'ya mind including me? Pleaaaase?" Tebooleh

Tebooleh felt a small wave of relief as Hale offered hospitality up for free, nothing in return. While it did put him, somewhat, in the Arcosian's debt... Well his offer of labor and assistance would just remain open. That way, he could pay back Hale whenever the muscled alien needed it. He gave a brief glance to Bloom and Kyabe as he began to follow Hale inside. Bloom's stare unnerved him. He was used to Majin staring with a more jolly expression. But those black-and-blue eyes seemed more like a cat's than a jolly candy-lover. Was she staring at him? Or both him and Hale? Was it... was it a good stare? Bad? Did she want to eat him? Fighting him? Be his friend?
The only change to Tebooleh's face was a mild flush to his cheeks and a twitch of his left and upper eyebrows. Both of those signs disappeared, along with the flurry of thoughts, as Kyabe mentioned not being hungry. He was a Saiyan. He was a Saiyan teen, and he wasn't hungry at all. Thanks to one Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. Perhaps it had been a viginti-decker. Twenty layers of bread and butter and jam. The tri-clops narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the boy. If the boy was starving himself to be polite... Well he was actually probably being more rude by refusing freely offered water and food, while thinking he was being polite. Unless he was genuinely not hungry. Which probably meant he wasn't getting enough exercise, as a Saiyan that got a usual amount of exercise (for their kind) often HAD to eat as much as they did. To fuel their bodies.
As they walked around the base of the tower, the three-eyed nomad slowed his steps just a tad. He planned on letting Bloom and Kyabe pass by him, so he could bring up the rear. Plus it would mean that he wouldn't feel the (real or imagined) stare of Bloom at his back. If she wanted to look at him with those cat-eyes, she'd have to turn her head over her shoulder. The position also let him observe everyone quietly and unobtrusively. He also could look at the first floor of the tower without everyone else seeing him gawk. That was a plus.
All three of Tebooleh's eyes roamed and took in the whole of the room. The walls seemed normal enough, but he supposed the stone was probably reinforced. If Hale meant to have fighters of his level, or even half of his level, training in there... He'd need such a precaution. He supposed the space it took up was a good idea, as well. It would allow for bigger classes, and better simulation of regular battles in a controlled environment. He let the Arcosian explain the details, the whys and plans... and wondered if he shouldn't join this whole organization himself. Perhaps.
But for the moment, Bloom was eager to fight and train. While Tebooleh's first thought was that going up against Hale was suicide for someone with such a low power as hers... He remembered Terium. That red bug-thing that had had been able to disguise his power so he could hide from Tebooleh's enhanced senses. He wondered if the Majin was using the same technique. Though he certainly knew that Kyabe, who was eager to spar as well (at least he had a Saiyan's appetite for battle), was not using such a technique. Not with how easily detectable his power was. Though Bloom seemed to want a one-on-one match. Perhaps... if Tebooleh went easy on the lad...
"I could spar with you before lunch." He said to Kyabe. There was no hint of a smile, but he didn't sound annoyed at least. "And then after, we could switch partners around, until everyone has had a chance to train with each other."

Hale lead the group of wandering strangers into his home knowing full well it was an odd thing to do, but none of them seemed all too bothersome or dangerous so he wasn't too concerned with it in the moment. His eyes looked back for a moment to glance at Bloom, giving her a confident response of "It's a magnificent name, thank you very much" nodding heavily to her. His thumb went up towards Kyabe at his response, and it dawned on him just how young this one probably was comparitively to who he was used to interacting with, and it made him internally wonder what he would be doing out this far.
His eyes slowly shifted back to Bloom as she was the first to walk off curiously and given her attempt to simply hop in the window earlier he wondered if she liked the space or was looking for a fridge. His eyes shifted towards Kyabe and a brow raised, "Uh, I'm not sure who Yas...Yasa...I don't know who that is." He was about to say something else as his arm outstretched and he even pointed towards a far wall, but it was left hanging there as Bloom spoke up about training, which completely caught him off guard. Again he was stopped before he spoke as Kyabe then spoke up in kind about training, and then Tebooleh spoke up and Hale's arm slowly lowered back down and relaxed, replaced by just one side of his mouth raising in a grin as he looked between the three.
"I've got a better idea, Tebooleh, Kyabe and...Bloom was it? Sorry I'm bad with names.", despite managed to remember and pronounce Tebooleh's he somehow let the easiest name of the three slip from his mind momentarily. "How about this, You three against me. I'm assuming the type of training you guys are looking for is a spar, correct? If so, well then I will say this; we should either go outside cause I don't want people firing off energy blasts in here, or this is a completely melee fight in here and...just don't go breaking anything if you can help it." Looking around and suddenly thankful for the open space. "So what do you say?"

Bloom’s PL: 24,000 | 72,000 Ki Suppression: Active (Reads as 5,000)
Seemed like Kyabe was interested in a little training. Bloom couldn’t help but widen her crooked smile. She remembered when she was around his power. Had gotten the tar kicked out of her on more than a few occasions but had also made friends doing it. She gave him a small wave. “Sure, I don’t mind…”She glanced over as Three Eyes offered to fight the kid. Hm. He’d be a pretty overwhelming opponent. Ah, well. What were a few bruises between buds? Bloom looked back to their host and resident large dude as he answered her. He didn’t want his house busted up, which she supposed she could understand. Mm. But...she could use that. Well, only if she had to anyway. Turning on her heel, Bloom headed back for the door. “Outside’s probably best...I want a real fight…”Remembering something, Bloom turned back around to Hale. “Hey, but no transforming, okay…? You lizard people have like...three of them, right…? Don’t do that…”Heading out into the harsh desert heat, Bloom did some stretches while she thought of a plan. Kyabe couldn’t do a ton, but if he could be offensive that would be great. If Tebooleh stayed on the offensive too, they might have a decent shot. Mm. As for her…some of them had probably guessed that her power was being suppressed. Should probably raise it a bit. The element of surprise was a pretty effective weapon and all. “Haaa…”With a little gust of wind, Bloom half-heartedly powered up a bit. She kept herself close to Kyabe in terms of power. Maybe a bit higher. There. That was probably good. Heh. She was starting to get a little excited. She’d fought Shiver in the tournament a while back and had been doing pretty well as long as she was in her first form. This guy was twice as strong. “Ready to go guys…?”

Bloom's verbal confirmation sent shivers down Kyabe's spine. She was okay with him joining her little request for a spar, and that got him as excited as ever. With all the people around, that meant he could cram a little more personal experience points and make himself stronger than ever! He smashed his fist into his palm and nodded, grunting, "Hm!" happily. Stepping up and following Bloom, he waved a hand as he exited from the entrance and returned to the realm of the hot, hot desert sun. Following suit, and stretching his limbs as needed. So, Hale offered to be the main opponent, and he'd be fighting the three others. Himself, Bloom and Mr. Tebooleh. ell, that sounded hardly fair, but he was sure it was in an attempt to increase his endurance and power. Something Kyabe could definitely respect. "Okay.." Kyabe huffed, stretching his arm behind his head and hopping on his toes. "Woo boy, I'm already getting excited!" Kyabe said aloud, grinning from ear to ear, eyes even closing so. "I'll play the offensive game, 'kay?" He mentioned to Bloom, as well to Tebooleh, once he joined them. Looking quite confident with himself and all, he waggled a finger and breathed. "We got this. I say he should maybe be able to power up though...hehe!"He quieted down and assumed his usual fighting stance. "Ready!" Tebooleh

Tebooleh followed the rest outside and back into the desert. Fighting outside was probably the sensible option. Hale was... Well if his fighting style was anything like his voice, it was going to be intense. Not to mention, it gave him more options as to what he could do. It gave everyone more options as to what they could do. However, the whole fight was probably going to be a tough one. Even if it was just a spar, Hale was almost twice as strong as the tri-clops was. And after Bloom and Kyabe showed their full power... it seemed that said tri-clops was the strongest out of the Arcosian's three opponents. That would mean doing all the heavy lifting, and taking as many of the hits as he could.
With that in mind, while Bloom stretched... While Kyabe psyched himself up... Tebooleh stripped. If he was going to be taking ki-blasts, he didn't want the thawb that he'd just mended to get ripped and torn. Nor his keffiyeh. First went the headwrap. The whole thing probably looked complicated, or like it had to be a solid hood. However... it was actually just worn via a series of folds, wrapping, and tucks. As he undid the wrapping, he revealed his trimmed, pointed beard and the dark curls of his (slightly re-grown) hair. He also replied to Kyabe's suggestion that they allow Hale to reach his full power.
"Do not be foolish. He is more powerful than all of us put together at his weakest.... And do not forget to stretch."
After saying that, he let his travel pack fall off his shoulders and onto the ground behind him. Then he undid a few buttons on his thawb... buttons that were normally hidden by a fold in the fabric down the front. After unhooking them one by one, he could just shrug off the cloth and let it pool at his feet in the sand. Though he picked up the garment and dusted it off as best as he could before carefully folding it. With mechanical precision... he worked until he had a near-perfect square of white fabric from which no sleeves or tufts of cloth were revealed. Just folds. He put the robes and the keffiyeh over top of his travelling pack. They were followed by his shirt, which he pulled up and over his head until his chest was bare. It too was folded. He didn't take off his pants, thankfully. He had enough sense and modesty to leave them on. ...Along with his sandals. Desert sand was hot, too hot for bare feet.
Only once he was out of his clothes did the man begin to stretch and warm up his body. As the sun beat down on his olive skin, Tebooleh kept his eyes focused on Hale. He wanted to see how the well-muscled Arcosian prepared himself. Would he bother to stretch or do jumping jacks, or to get into a fighting stance? Because Tebooleh did all three. Though his "stance" was more a bent-backed posture that he adopted as he ducked and bobbed about. His feet were constantly switching position. His arms moved just about as much. Though they tended to adopt a position where one was kept close to his face in the form of a fist, while the other was extended in such a way that it could still be brought back to defend his midsection.
Then he answered Bloom's question.
"I am ready."
