Kiko's PL: 1,500 Brand's PL: 5,000
Brand held tightly onto her shoulder as they traveled in the way that only Shinjin could. Bravo clung to his tail, which explained the extremely irrate expression on Brand’s face. Basil was scooped into one of Bravo’s arms. She had to figure out a better way of doing this. It was only the third or fourth time that she had actually used Kai Kai, so it was only natural that there would be a few kinks. This time, they were off to Vegeta! Big changes had happened there recently, so Kiko wanted to check it out. “And...We’re...heeeeeeere!”And as suddenly as they had departed, they had arrived! In some...big hall type thing. Bravo and Basil flopped to the ground as Brand snatched his tail away. Kiko glanced around. She’d never been to Vegeta before, so she just kind of sensed for the largest power level in that direction and made the jump. “Hm…Where are we…?”Suddenly, Kiko felt herself get snatched up and tucked under an arm. Only one of her disciples would be so unceremonious in her handling. “Brand! What’s the meaning of this?!”In a flurry of motion, Bravo and Basil had put themselves beside her, Bravo in front, Basil at the side. As she looked up, she could finally see why. They were surrounded by guards. Saiyan guards. Brand glanced around with narrowed eyes, his tail twitching with agitation. Kiko wiggled in his arm, holding up her hands. “W-Wait! We’re friendly!”Kiko grimaced inwardly. It seemed like she had popped them in another highly secure location. Maybe she shouldn’t look for the highest power level in the region. Seemed to get them into a lot of trouble. She looked around, hoping that one of the Saiyans would step up and tell the others to disarm. Maybe?

Being a guard for the newest Queen of the Saiyans was simultaneously a very easy and incredibly frustrating job. Easy because frankly there was nothing to guard her against, Kayen was, as far as they knew, one of if not THE strongest person in the galaxy right now, perhaps even the universe though there was no way of telling what sort of warriors existed out in the other quadrants. Legends DID say that the Premier still existed out there somewhere. Regardless the number of people that could actually harm her were likely able to be counted on a single hand. It was however also frustrating for that very reason. Kayen barely even saw reason to HAVE a guard and for the most part their work was something more akin to acting like bouncers at a Radditsu district club rather than royal guards, keeping out people the Queen would rather not have bothering her at that particular moment. She had no interest in maintaining a schedule that they could use to clear and scout the places she sought to visit for danger, because she saw no danger. Really the only reason they had adapted with as much relative ease as they had was the fact that many of their numbers were relatively new and the rest of them were composed of former guards who had remained or been stuck on Vegeta, or those who had served under Vocado and had experienced much the same under him. Right now the Queen was making use of one of the recently repaired indoor training centers and had stuck around long enough for more than just Skash to be present to secure the room, all had seemed relatively good with the only snag being Kayen’s insistence that some of them participate in her workout. And then suddenly all of their scouters beeped frantically at a sudden surge of power in the room, the guards all responded as quick as they could surrounding the intruders with Skash even drawing his sword, the intruders were not reading exceedingly above average power but the fact they had the gall to appear in the palace itself meant there was a chance they were simply hiding their true power. The smaller intruder, some alien they could not immediately identify, perhaps a Brenchian Konatsian hybrid Skash guessed, appeared to be frantic shouting at her Hakai-jin accomplice. Their formation was soon broken as the small intruder claimed they were friendly as one of the newer guards was shoved to one side, not by an intruder but by the Queen herself. Kayen was amused by the events as they played out, and much to the chagrin of her guard and Skash in particular she knew, she was curious about these intruders, plus with the power they were giving off they posed no actual danger, really the Hakai-jin was actually more a risk to her guards than herself. “Yaknow kid, we’ve got doors for a reason” Kayen said crossing her arms over her chest as she looked down at the group, there was something… strange about the ‘kid’ now that she really looked at her, like she was something a bit… more than usual. Maybe she was some demon or something?

Kiko’s PL: 1,500 Brand’s PL: 5,000
Kiko didn’t bother to hide her grimace when a beast of a woman shoved aside a guard in front of her little group. She was almost tempted to call her a monster, but this was the new queen of the Saiyans. Kayen. Blinking her red eyes at Kayen who towered over the lot of them, Kiko shivered at the sheer power emanating off of her. This was not someone her disciples could match. Abruptly set down by Brand, Kiko watched as he stepped forward with a look on his face that told her that he was itching for a fight. No, no, no. That was bad! So bad! She tried to reach out and stop him, but Bravo and Basil blocked her off protectively. Oooooh, she was going to give them such a talking to after this! She pushed and elbowed past them, popping out beside Brand who gave her the most exasperated look. “E-Excuse you! I am no mere kid, foolish mortal! I am a god!”Kiko hid her nerves by proudly puffing out her little chest and resting a hand on it. She willed herself not to shake or tremble. She was a god! She was owed her respect even if Kayen was a Queen! Brand looked down at her with a raised eyebrow. She quickly shot him and the others a telepathic message to stand down, explaining quickly that Kayen was the queen of the Saiyans. Brand looked at Kayen curiously. “Kayen, is it? Kayen the Pirate Queen?” Brand asked, looking to her curiously. He had heard the stories but never had the chance to meet her in person. “You’re every bit as fearsome as the stories I’ve heard. Sorry about dropping in like this. Our little god of pride here doesn’t have the hang of zipping around the universe yet.”Kiko lunged at Brand, beating her fists against his unmoving torso. “Shush! This was part of my divine plan all along!”“Yeah, right.”Dismissively, he pushed Kiko away so that she couldn’t get at him and was effectively just waving her fists around in the air. With that annoyance taken care of, he continued. “I’d like the opportunity to test myself against the Pirate Queen.”“No! She’s like crazy strong!”“If you have a blutz generator, I can make it a more interesting fight.”Kiko gave up, her arms falling to her sides. If Brand was so set on getting himself killed, then what did she care? She crossed her arms over her chest and looked at Kayen. “You have my permission to knock some sense into Brand if you want. Or you can ignore him. Hmph!”Secretly, Kiko hoped that Kayen wouldn’t indulge Brand. He couldn’t exactly tell just how outclassed he was from one look. Plus! She was a Super Saiyan. He couldn’t come close even with her at her base power. She bit her lip in both concern and frustration. Brand never listened to her.

Kayen nodded placatingly at the tiny ‘god’ not entirely sure what to make of this, there WAS a chance that the ‘kid’ was not actually a child, Demons took on strange shapes that did not always match their true age compared to a mortal being so it was entirely possible this ‘kid’ was a Demon of some sort that thought itself a God. Or maybe she WAS a god. Was that even REALLY that strange? Probably. It did not matter much to Kayen either way, even if the ‘kid’ was actually a God she certainly was not a particularly threatening one she would likely have trouble fighting her Hakai-jin companion or any of Kayen’s guards let alone Kayen herself. The Hakai finally spoke up after the tiny god’s outburst apparently already familiar with her. “The one and only, It’s fine it’ll keep my guards on their toes for a while knowing someone might accidentally pop in” Kayen said with a laugh, Skash meanwhile groaned knowing that it really WOULD be a huge hassle and probably require a massive restructure to their usual patrols, while the pair were not exceptionally threatening there was no reason to believe that it was impossible a genuine threat could do the same. Kayen raised an eyebrow at the Hakai’s challenge and was amused when the little Goddess was the one to act as voice of reason, the Hakai persisted though and finally the little God relented and gave Kayen free reign to beat her… friend? Guard? Whatever, senseless. “You’re funeral I suppose, I don’t use a Blutz Generator myself but I DO have this” Kayen said shooing away her guards who only put up a nominal fight before dispersing back to their usual positions, once they were gone Kayen formed a orb of red energy in her palm and tossed it in the air “I call it the Blood Moon, I’ve focused it on you so give it a look and lets see what you can do", the orb shot high into the training room hitting the ceiling and bathing the room in its red glow, if Brand did as she said he would even find his power boosted a bit more than he was used to. " If you can make me use my sword this might even be worth my time" she added with a grin, taunting the Hakai to see if she could rile him up a bit to get even more intensity out of him.

Her hopes were dashed when Kayen agreed to Brand’s suicidal curiosity. Didn’t he know that curiosity kills the cat?! With shoulders slumped forward, Kiko retreated to one of the walls of the room with Basil and Majin Bravo accompanying her. Bravo just gave a thumbs up of encouragement to Brand. Kiko didn’t think he even saw it. There was no dealing with Brand when he got like this. He used to be a pirate too but come on. He didn’t have to test himself against every brigand in the universe. Kiko puffed out her cheeks unhappily. Brand glanced sidelong over to his extremely displeased mistress, surprised at how little of a fight she had put him. Usually, she kept at it until she got her way. Maybe she figured that a beating would be punishment enough. Focusing back in on his opponent, he could only smirk. He would have to thank her if he survived. Or suffer her yelling into his ear in the afterlife if he didn’t. He watched as Kayen formed a red orb and tossed it up, feeling its rays awaken his dormant power. Purple energy swirled around his form. It had been a long time since he had last known this strength. Hopefully it was enough not to disappoint the Pirate Queen. He couldn’t tell how powerful she was. He didn’t have Kiko’s power for divination. But that didn’t matter to him. Kayen’s taunting only served to goad him further. “Hah! I’ll make you regret those words!”In a flash, Brand launched himself at Kayen. He leaped and flew at Kayen’s stomach as a feint only to swipe with his tail at the last moment to sweep her legs out from under her. He doubted that this would catch her off guard so easily, but he wanted to see what exactly super crazy strong was in Kiko terms.

Kayen was curious exactly what sort of reaction the Blood Moon would get out of the Hakai, she was familiar with them but not enough to know the ins and outs of their ability to boost their power, that they could benefit from Blutz was certainly interesting though it remained to be seen just how much it could squeeze out of the cat. The remainder of the little god’s entourage backed off along with her guards as power began to surge around Brand, Kayen could soon feel his actual power rising rapidly however once his transformation was completed the end result was unfortunately rather lackluster, at least for HER it was, he would tear through the bulk of her guard if need be, even Skash was unlikely to pose much of a challenge to him short of becoming an Oozaru. But while Brand was impressive compared to average and even a bit above average warriors now. He was still a far cry from the caliber of fighter than Kayen was used to. Still though the power of the Blood Moon, seemed to bolster the Hakai’s bravado as he made a bold declaration and rushed at her. For the Haki she imagine he likely believed he was moving at a blinding pace, and she could see that some of the guards were even caught off guard by the speed of his rush likely losing track of him until he ‘appeared’ before her. But for Kayen it was like he was moving in slow motion, even without her Super Saiyan power she was more than a match for him, but out of curiosity she made no moves, simply standing her ground as he made his feint and then struck her leg with his tail, the move itself was impressive, close to something she had pulled against Vocado during their last fight. The tail however was not trying to grab her, just likely trying to trip her, instead it cracked against Kayen’s leg to no discernible effect. “You aren't bad, at least in terms of technical skill, I liked to pull those sort of tricks when I had my tail. I’d be careful about that though, thats also how I lost my tail” Kayen said casually giving the Hakai a grin before making her own move, quick as she could Kayen would raise her foot and stamp on Brand’s tail banking on her speed and the failure of his attack to function as he intended to be enough to keep him from pulling it back to safety.

Kiko’s PL: 1,500 Brand’s PL: 35,000 | 15,000
Kiko examined her fingernails with intense disinterest as Brand hissed with pain. She glanced up to see his purple tail being crushed under the boot of Kayen. To be honest, she felt no sympathy for him. She had warned him. She had told him so. It wasn’t her fault if Kayen took off his tail. It was the price of pride. Kiko knew how to pick her battles at least. Though… How was he going to get out of this one? He had his tail pinned down, and she knew that he hated having his tail pulled. He had been whining about it on the short trip here. A few careful tugs on his tail told Brand what he already knew. His tail wasn’t going anywhere. It was slowly being crushed under Kayen’s heel, and as much as it hurt, tugging at it wasn’t going to free it from the Pirate Queen’s clutches. This was certainly a lesson that he wasn’t going to forget soon. That being said, he wanted his tail back. Preferably still attached. Thrusting a hand unto Kayen’s face, Brand fired off his Destructive Wave at point blank range. He hoped that, if anything, it would get her off his damn tail! Kiko watched appraisingly as Brand decided on his little course of action. That was probably going to end poorly for him. Heck, she had told him that from the start. Did he listen to her? No, uh-uh. Don’t listen to your goddess. She clearly doesn’t have your best interests in mind. The big dummy dumb. In her hand, a little bag of chewy candies materialized. She tossed them into her mouth a few at time and crunched down irritably on them. Basil glanced over and sighed quietly. Oh no. This was always how she got when she was upset. He looked over at Brand. Maybe he should intervene? It might be more dangerous to interrupt the two. Ah… They were in public, so Kiko wouldn’t abide him patting her on her head. Oh. Maybe getting her mind off of it. He kneeled down beside Kiko so that he could be at eye level. “Lady Kiko, what do you want to do when we leave the palace?”Perking up a little, Kiko glanced over a bit surprised. “Hm...guess I’d like to see Vegeta? Oh! And get more followers of course!”“I see… I wonder if Vegeta has many interesting sights.”“It’s gotta! I mean, at least some cool old battlefields or something. Maybe even some native animals that are fluffy…”Basil smiled at that before glancing back over to the fight. He hoped that Brand wouldn’t get hurt too badly. Lady Kiko had the miraculous power of healing, but its power had its limits. Plus, he wasn’t sure if Lady Kiko should reveal it in front of someone like the Saiyan Queen. The last thing he wanted was for his lady to be used.

Kayen’s grin widened at the Hakai’s feeble attempts to free himself adding a patronizing shake of her head as his attention returned to her directly, this was very shortly met by the Hakai’s open palm being directed at her face. Kayen imagined that he was probably used to actions such as this resulting in the opponent fleeing or perhaps if he was lucky being blasted away by the sheer power he wielded. Unfortunately neither such thing occurred when his blast enveloped her face, the only vague sense of reaction that Kayen had to the blast being fired at all was one on a level the Hakai could not actually detect, but one that the Shinjin could, a light pulse of energy to provide protection not to herself but to her eyepatch, the material was durable certainly but there was no sense in taking a risk of having it randomly destroyed because she was not paying attention to where exactly his blast was centered on. And so the wave washed over her leaving light singing but eliciting no apparent reaction, and most importantly for Brand. Not resulting in his tail being set free. “Cute” Kayen commented grinning at him in a way that promised retaliation for what little harm had HAD managed to do to her. With the Hakai rather firmly stuck where she wanted him Kayen cracked her neck taking her time with her actions, until suddenly she struck, a quick jab aimed at the Hakai’s face while she dug her boot more firmly down onto his tail, if it hit the blow would likely TRY to send the Hakai flying, only for her boot to keep him in place, and unless she was vastly underestimating just how connected the Hakai was to his tail Kayen would follow up with a quick flurry of blows, treating the Hakai more like a speed bag rather than an opponent. Taking her eye off the Hakai she cast a glance at the little god to see what her reaction was, regardless she would give her an amused grin, based off of her reaction before she expected she would be amused to see her companion getting exactly what she warned him about.

Kiko’s PL: 1,500 Brand’s PL: 35,000 | 15,000
When Brand’s ploy to get Kayen to release his tail didn’t work and didn’t have any visible effect on her, Brand started to think that he might have bitten off more than he could chew. When Kayen smiles at him, he knew that he had done just that. His ears dropped and his mouth hung open. How was he supposed to retaliate at all against this monster? Despite his hatred of having his tail tugged, Brand tugged on it now, trying very hard not to outright rip it off. He was fairly attached to it in both senses of the world. He eyes flicked to Kayen nervously as she moved very slowly and deliberately. What was she planning to do to him? Why was this happening?! Suddenly, Brand felt something hit his face and send him reeling back, held only by his tail. Dazed, he could only keep up a fulite guard against an onslaught of blows. He couldn’t follow them with his eyes. Inevitably, many of them connected, which only made his tail scream in pain. He wouldn’t let it end like this. Being used as a punching bag? How dare she! Kiko watched Brand get the stuffing punched out of him with a special kind of glee that made Basil’s skin crawl a bit. Her eyes sparkled, and her lips curled up mischievously. Yeah! Get him! That served him right for not listening to her. When Kayen glanced over to her while putting the smack down on Brand, she gave the Queen an enthusiastic wave and a big thumbs up. Still, she could tell that Brand hadn’t given up yet. He tended to be a pretty sore loser too, and she’d rather he didn’t actually annoy Kayen with cheap shots. So, Kiko pumped her little fist into the air and shouted over to them so Brand could definitely hear her. “Smack him good! Make sure he doesn’t wake up for at least a couple days! Maybe even a week!”With a little tap on her should, Kiko glanced back to see Basil leaning down to her in a whisper. “Ah, my lady, shouldn’t you be trying to put a stop to this…? Or at the very least be rooting for Brand…?”Kiko raised an eyebrow. What was with this sass all of a sudden from her disciples? She gestured over to where Brand was being more or less tortured. “If you wanna stop them, be my guest. Don’t blame me if you get hurt.”“Ah… I… I’ll just be quiet now.”Crossing her arms, Kiko smirked smugly at Brand who didn’t really have the time to stare daggers into her. She could always heal him. Once he apologized to her. She wouldn’t do it until she heard an apology though. Brand was the one who listened the least and sometimes that caused her trouble. This would be a good lesson. Maybe he would listen next time that she told him that his opponent was out of his league.

Kayen’s amused grin held strong with each strike delivered to the Hakai, it was rather amusingly fun to have the little ‘god’ as her personal cheering section, especially considering that the person she was beating the hell out of happened to be one of her… friends? Attendants? Kayen had not bothered to puzzle out the relationship between the strange group before the impromptu ‘spar’ had begun. From the looks of it it was unlikely any of them were actually related, so likely they were either a collection of friends OR perhaps if the little one really WAS a god or something they were her followers? Or at least they might believe that to be the case. Kayen let out a loud laugh as the little god made a request, in theory she COULD do exactly that though a dip in a healing tank would probably actually have him up before the end of the day unless she decided to use Fateburn, but really that was just a bit TOO much, the Hakai had not actually done anything to offend her, he just lacked a comprehension of his power compared to hers. Kayen reared back and with a bit of extra force sent one last hay maker of a punch aimed at Brand’s face, if it connected she would, mercifully, also release his tail and allow the Hakai to be sent flying across the room and likely into a wall.

It was official. Brand hated that little brat. He really couldn’t react with anything other than subdued hisses of pain, but he heard her little cheers for the queen. Oh, he’d have his revenge. Somehow. He had to think of something other than the cold shoulder to do to her. Unfortunately, he didn’t have too much time to dwell on it. He was getting the ever living daylights beat out of him. He hated Kayen. He hated this whole situation so much. He definitely hated the fact that it was his own fault and that he really had no one to blame but himself. He’d be damned if he was going to give Kiko the satisfaction of the ‘I told you so.’
His petty thoughts of revenge were cut short when Kayen’s vicious haymaker connected with the side of his face. He didn’t even stand a chance. Kiko jumped into the air with a mock punch of her own and a little cheer as he went sailing headfirst into the distant wall. His head lodged partway into the wall as his body went limp. With a flick of her wrist, Kiko discreetly sent Bravo to check and make sure that he wasn’t dead as she turned to Kayen.
“Ten points!”
Offering her applause, Kiko grinned widely at Kayen. She was briefly distracted when Bravo yanked Brand’s head out of the wall. Ah, she’d have to fix that. She couldn’t be rude to their host. Tucking her hands behind her back, she skipped over to where Brand lay and flicked out a finger. She twirled it around, and in response, the hole in the wall closed as more of whatever material comprised it was created to fill the gap. Next, she leaned over Brand. Yup, he was super unconscious. She didn’t really want him to wake up immediately, but she supposed that she could patch up the worst of his injuries.
Waving away Bravo with a dismissive flick of her hand, Kiko knelt down and put her hand on his chest. She took a deep breath and concentrated, her divine magic flowing out from her fingertips and into Brand. He glowed briefly, his still forming bruises and welts fading away. After she was done, Kiko stood, brushing away a bit of sweat from her forehead. That always took it out of her.
“Bravo, be a dear and carry Brand, would you?”
“Yes, mum!”
Bravo picked up Brand unceremoniously and tossed him over his shoulder not unlike a sack of potatoes. Nodding her approval, Kiko dusted her hands off and smiled at Kayen.
“Sorry about him. He’s a bit of an idiot. I’m Kiko Kai, a god! Oh, and this is Bravo, Basil, and the cat you fought was Brand. They’re my disciples. Nice to meet ya!”

Kayen smirked at the little god’s reaction to her companions defeat, it would perhaps have been a bit disconcerting that she was THIS pleased with the turn of events had Kayen not also spotted the young god’s signal to one of her many other companions to go check on the Hakai, that at least showed that while she DID enjoy the beatdown that she was not entirely without concern for her crew. If she hadn’t made the effort Kayen might have tried to offer the Hakai a place in the Kingdom, she STILL might though that all depended on how things proceeded, and assumed that the Hakai would be conscious any time soon… and willing to listen to her. Really it wasn’t HER fault, he’d been the one to issue the challenge. Kayen watched curiously as the little god knelt next to the Hakai, what exactly she was up to as her Majin companion had already clearly discerned the Hakai’s unconscious state was unknown, perhaps she planned to write on his face or something? Instead Kayen was surprised to feel the little god’s power surge and then begin to flow over the Hakai, the feeling of the energy she was putting out was completely unlike what Kayen was used to, it lacked the harshness she usually associated with energy instead almost feeling welcoming in a way. And of course most importantly it was not slowly or quickly vaporizing the Hakai and instead seemed to be repairing the damage he had sustained, his face once battered to a near unrecognizable state slowly returning to it’s proper shape. THAT was a very interesting trick, she knew it was possible to do quite a lot with the more mystical expressions of energy, but outright undoing harm was new. “No problem, it was a fun warm up. As your companion mentioned earlier I’m Kayen, though his information was a bit outdated, I’m not just a Pirate Queen anymore, I’m not also Queen of the Saiyans” Kayen said stepping closer to the little god and offering a hand to her “What might you be the god of? I was under the impression the gods reigned over individual planets, such as Earth’s Guardian” Kayen’s grasp of the divine heirarchy was… spotty at best, Habana had only really ever written of it in the context of Maeve and general information on such things was more or less relegated to myth rather than concrete facts.

Kiko blinked when she heard the news. Kayen was Queen of the Saiyans now, huh? Well, neat. Saiyans were a pretty tough bunch, so she guessed that she shouldn’t be surprised that Kayen knocked the tar out of Brand. He would be feeling that one later. If he woke up at all today. He had a pretty big habit of sleeping in. Such a cat. When Kayen offered a hand to her, Kiko took it, despite her reservations. When she asked what Kiko was the god of though, Kiko felt little beads of nervous sweat on her face.
“Uhm…. Well, kind of. It’s kind of complicated… it’s got like… levels… But! Anyway! I’m not the god of anything yet! But I will be. I’ll be the Supreme Kai of the whole universe one day! Count on it. Until then though, I figured I’d start with being the youngest Kai to ever be a… you called it a Guardian? Well, that!”
Of course, she had no clue which planet to be the guardian of because she had just gotten the idea right now. Vegeta was as good as any though right? No, it would be the best if it were under her divine guidance! Yeah. Er. But did it already have a Guardian? She hadn’t heard anything about it, but then she had only done so much research and looking into the mortal worlds.
“I suppose I could look after Vegeta… but I’m still undecided, ya know.”
Ha! That would get Kayen to offer her the spot. Well, really, she supposed that she could just appoint herself… but it wasn’t going to be very easy if people had no idea who she even was. And the people should know who their goddess is so that they can pay respects to her. Yeah. And if the Queen was on her side, it would be loads easier to situate herself. Of course, she would need like a place of her own. Maybe like a tower or a palace… something a bit more mystical maybe. It needed to say divinity with its looks. Hm. Maybe she ought to look around for a good spot.

Kayen found herself very interested in the little god’s response to her question. Kayen had not actually expected to get much of a response out of her on what her role was figuring that the Kais were supposed to keep such things secret, but apprently Kiko was willing to break that rule if it existed or perhaps it simply did not exist. She was, presently, not actually in charge of anything but had asperations to become ‘Supreme Kai’ which considering the context of how she spoke of it seemed like it was supposed to be perhaps the highest rank? It certainly SOUNDED like it, considering she implied it was a positon over ‘the whole universe’ Aswell it appeared that she WAS infact a young Kai as she aimed to be the youngest Kai to assume the role of Guardian. Thankfully Kayen WAS familiar with that position through Habana’s old notes, at least vaguely, Habana had been no expert on what Maeve’s job as Guardian of Earth had been but the gist of it that Kayen had gotten was that they acted as a sort of protector and guide for the people. The most interesting though was that Kiko offered the idea of taking up such a role here on Vegeta. “That could be interesting, I’m only passingly familiar with what the role of Guardian actually entails, my ancestor Haban was friends with Earth’s former Guardian, and I met with a girl seeking to become the new one, but Earth and Vegeta are rather… different. Do you think you would make a good fit as Vegeta’s Guardian?” Kayen asked curious what the little god had to say on the matter, as long as becoming Guardian gave the little god no actual intrinsic power over the planet there was ultimately no actual harm in her taking up the position in theory.

Huh, seemed like Kayen knew at least in passing about Guardians. Hmph. Well, that was fine. It was kind of a mortal role made to elevated themselves to some form of minor divinity. With her already being divine, Guardian was just gonna be super easy for her. Kiko wasn’t all too sure what the responsibilities of a Guardian were though. Probably protecting the planet but… Saiyans weren’t exactly lightweights in the power department.
“Of course! I’m better qualified than any mere mortal Guardian. Now! I’m sure Vegeta’s needs are different from Earth’s needs, so we can sort out what my duties are based on what Vegeta needs. What do you think it needs? It’s kind of got a fierce protector in you.”
Kiko didn’t need to dirt her or her acolytes hands with fighting, though she suspected that they would be getting a lot of training in regardless. After that defeat, Brand especially would be raring to go, and, while her divine powers were great, Kiko didn’t exactly specialize in fighting. She didn’t specialize in anything yet really. She had been the first among her fellow students to get a handle on the whole healing magic, but she had left shortly after that. Mm… she probably would have to keep up her Otherworld studies too. Bleh.
Glancing sidelong at Basil who stood innocently behind her, Kiko suppressed a sigh. He was a pretty ruthless teacher when he wanted to be. She’d have to kick Bravo in the pants to get him to train up. Maybe she would have Brand use him to get stronger or something. But before any of that… they needed someplace to call a home. Kiko had lived on the core worlds before coming to the mortal realm, so she didn’t really have a place of her own.
“But… if I am to be your Guardian, I’m gonna need a place to stay while I build my… temple? Keep? Castle? Eh… I’ll have to think about it… but anyway! So you mind if I stay here for a bit?”
