A voice called out to congratulate Nashi, and it called him ‘sennin’! Either Kyabe or someone quite skilled at imitating the voice of Kyabe—he couldn’t exactly tell given that he wasn’t looking in that direction at the time (as he was focusing on the barbarous Hale) and couldn’t tell after the whole shebang, either, given that he was only vaguely aware of two prolly-Arcosian and one prolly-non-Arcosian. Kyabe was prooooobably the non-Arcosian, but Nashi was pretty beaten up, so he couldn’t be sure.
Though it was good that he could tell (to some degree of certainty) which of the fighters was Arcosian, two of them were Arcosian, and it seemed his gamble in attacking Hale blew up in his face. Not in that it literally blew up his face— no, in his current state, that’d be enough to send him over the edge unless he did something heroic and stupid— but in that it was not Hale he struck, but the other one… ’Voter’, I think it was. Nashi felt like a hypocrite, having had admonished Hale for ‘targeting the little guy’ while here, intentionally or otherwise, he had targeted the not-as-little but still compared to Nashi quite little indeed guy.
But, well, it worked, sooooo…
Nashi stumbled over, with time, to probably-Kyabe. At a closer glance he had confirmed that probably-Kyabe was, indeed, Kyabe, probably. He got that closer look especially quickly given that Hale had checked him over there while Nashi wasn't focusing on him— the pain was great but, as long as he the audience didn't see him expressing any pain, he could pretend it wasn't there. "H-Hey, Kyabe. Fancy seeing you here."

”So... now that it’s just us two versus lizard-boar over here, maybe we could tag team ‘im? I know you’re not as strong, and I’m knackered, but…” It was the Tag Team Tournament. Judging by the name, wasn’t it obvious that the ‘team’ bit was as important as the ‘tournament’ part? Though there was a suspicious lack of tag. ”... Together, sensei and student, we can overcome any obstacle! How about it?”
With or without Kyabe alongside him, Nashi would run to Hale. He’d slink down, hopefully to make Hale think he was going to try to slide between his legs to get behind him, but suddenly at the last moment he’d gather some energy in his feet to bounce over the lizard and make Leopard Blows to the eyes before landing on the tail (unless it had been moved) which he’d then try to grab on to and scratch at.

"Have at thee, foul beast!"
Of course, after that throw and all the damage dealt to him in general, he wasn't expecting much. He didn't look it, but he was expressly sore, and could collapse at tantamount to any moment. But the show, he knew, must go on!
