Sometimes you can get hit in the gut without a punch, elbow or kick. Sometimes the sheer shock of a sight is what rids you of your breath. Sometimes a peaceful shock is worse than one felt in battle. Nashi was flying back to the Lookout, multiple bags of groceries in his hands. But these weren’t just any groceries, oh no: they were, as one might have come to expect at this point, instant noodles. Indeed, he had tracked down a specialty instant noodles shop and bought one of every flavour they had. But he didn’t buy these for himself, oh no. Although if asked he might have said it was so Chime could practice materialising noodles and with a greater variety, but in reality he just wanted to spend some quality time talking to and eating with a friend. Then Nashi reached the Lookout, and he was hit in the gut. Something twisted within Nashi’s stomach as, suddenly, he felt sick before the scene in front of him. Oh no.Nashi dropped the groceries— they landed on the Lookout, thankfully enough, but his mind had been entirely shifted from the thought of noodles— and flew closer to the centre. ”Chime! Daruma! Cobalt, Synthesia, Myu, anyone?! Are you there? What happened?”Nashi was in panic mode. This felt like it was just a bad dream— and you cannot fathom the degree to which he hoped it was. You know the hyperlinked Lookout art? That’s Chime’s! Ain’t it great?

PL: 8,000 The morning had been a slog. Still finding himself in a rut after the Ramen incident, Daruma had struggled to make his way out of bed and through his own personal chores before heading out on some errands away from the Lookout. He'd had to look into a ghost incident for an old lady he'd met in the city streets a few weeks back, which had turned out just to be a stray cat, and on his way back he needed to stop in at the shopping mall for some household supplies. Food, Water, Toiletries... just the essentials, really. On his way home through the skies, he noticed a storm brewing. To most people that might seem like a miserable turn of events, but Daruma had found that he quite liked the endless pattering of the rain on the Lookout's tiles. But getting caught in flight in the storm sounded like a bad idea, so he dropped down to the ground near the outskirts of the Karinga Tribe. His ki sense had been waning a little, given his preoccupation. But something awful and tremendous shot past the hard beats of rythm in his ears, and sent a small seed of doubt swelling in his gut. Staring up at the Lookout, the storm seemed to centered on it. Moving quicker, he tried to rush through the Karinga settlement without disturbing anyone or the food in his bags. "Please be okay..." He mumbled repeatedly to himself, as small ramps in power seemed to shoot off from the area on high. Beads of sweat ran down his face, but he clung idly to the hope that it was just his imagination, or some artifact giving them trouble that they found tucked away. It would all be okay. It would be okay.Reaching the base of the tower, he noticed some debris gathered a short distance away and some scattered tiling through the trees and the grass as he got closer. The looming sense of wrong and fear grew in his core as he rushed through the air despite the storm to the Lookout, high through the air and into the dark of the clouds. The seemed to part, just a little, and the light through the cloud he'd moved into revealed to him the most horrendous sight. "fUcK..." His blood ran cold and everything sunk within him. Something... horrible had happened. Again. Dropping the shopping, he tried in vain to cover his mouth and stop the stream of chuck that the shock had induced. What had he missed? What could do this? Was it Ramen, again? Was everyone okay? Was anyone hurt? Was- "CHIME!" Screaming, cold and covered in stains from the poor weather and his sweat, he charged into the Lookout. He found Nashi there, calling out too. Clutching at his mouth again he held it back, coming to a nervous stop by his friend. "Nashi... I'm here. I'm okay... Synthesia wasn't here today- at least I, I think he wasn't. I don't... I don't know- I just- What the fuck happened here?? Where is everyone?" His voice was straining, and scared and loud. He had no care for what danger might still be lurking around. He only cared about his friends. A large gaping hole stuck out of the Lookout, like a worst pie chart you've ever seen. Never, even in his most deprecating and cruel nightmares had he imagined the feeling of turmoil he felt right now. He just prayed to whatever powers might help that Chime was okay. That he, and the others had made it out alive from whatever this was. Staring around blankly at the ruins of his home, he moved on from Nashi and closer to the gaping hole. "CHHIIIMMMEEE!!!" He bellowed as loud as he could, nearly coughing from how hard he stretched his voice. If his friend wasn't okay, he didn't know what stupid or rash thing he would do. He just hoped he was okay. KP: 3/3 oh shit oh god. my house is in ruins also ye isn't that art neat !! Chime -> Nashi

DESOLATION
CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 80,000
The fight was over, but the day was still going- much to Carro's dismay.
He and Chime had managed to walk away from the fight before. The Dragon Balls were in their possession, and now, it was only a matter of time before they summoned the Eternal Dragon. But for now, they'd both seemed to have silently agreed that taking some time to rest was in order. Carro's form, still exhausted and splotched with dried blood, was splayed across a couch in the Lookout's mostly undamaged central building. His memories of the time before he went Oozaru had returned, and the saiyan allowed what he knew of the event to sink in while he fought to keep his eyes open.
He could have sworn he heard yelling outside, but the fatigued President couldn't make out what these mystery people were saying- nor did he have the strength to walk out the door... Mumbling incoherently again and covering his head with a pillow, the dazed President left the job to a certain mechanical cat for the time being.
LEO's head perked up. She was back in the broken library, trying to put the masses of fallen shelves and books back in their rightful places. Sure, the Eternal Dragon would likely fix it up later, but she couldn't help but to feel like she had a debt to pay for causing a rampaging Oozaru to wreck it in the first place. Voices outside caused her to take her attention away from the task. She dropped one of the shelves that were held gently in her jaws, plopping it down onto the floor before climbing out of the massive crack in the Lookout's bowl-like structure.
Her massive claws rose up to the Lookout's surface right beside Nashi and Daruma, gripping onto the rim. She pulled herself upright, casting a massive shadow over the two below her. Menacing eyes, sharp teeth, cutting claws and the power to match, the orange feline might have looked like some menacing foe who caused the mess to begin with. She lowered her head to Chimes' friends', eyes narrowing... Well, a brief facial scan didn't bring up any criminal records for these two, so it seemed they were clean. They seemed worried, too.
"DESIGNATION: L.E.O: PLEXROID MODEL MKI. PILOTED BY PRESIDENT CARRO HOFFERSON." She yawned, flopping onto the cracked tiles below to lie beside the two leisurely, doing her best to show that she wasn't the threat that blew the place up. Mostly. "CHIME: LAST SCANNED 6 MINUTES AGO. STATUS: ALIVE." She turned her head back to the Lookout's building. She wasn't sure what the Namekian was up to now- maybe just resting, or reflecting and tidying up the Lookout as well. Either way, he was fine- physically speaking.

Chime's PL: 48,000
The worst part of the worst day was over. Now, there was just the aftermath to deal with.
With Carro laid out on a couch in the Lookout's central building, Chime spent some time standing over him and healing his wounds as best he could, and filling in the gaps in his memory from his Oozaru rampage. There was only so much he could do for the Saiyan though, and after a certain point he just needed rest and time. Chime sat himself down on the floor and leaned against the arm of the couch, near Carro's feet, and focused on himself next. His wounds weren't nearly as extensive, but he was having a hell of a time meditating to try and concentrate. Every time he closed his eyes, his mind went back to the past few hours. Blood on perfect white tiles, friends fading away into nothing, a horrible grey monster coming back from every hit dealt to him, people calling his name...
Wait. That part was real.
His eyes snapped open with a little gasp. Someone was here! He scrambled to his feet and quickly shushed Carro as the President groaned and rolled over, "It's okay. Get some sleep, it's just friends."
Chime raced out the front door of the main building as fast as he could run. What he saw was exactly what he'd been hoping for when he heard them calling his name: Nashi and Daruma, both looking panicked and being inspected by LEO. He didn't much care what the robot cat was up to though, he trusted her enough after all of this to give her the run of the whole Lookout.
"GUYS!!!" Chime shouted over to them at the top of his lungs, then leaped into the air and zoomed the rest of the way towards them, aiming to tackle them with his stringbean body. One or both of them would find themselves with an armful of very frazzled Namekian, with a wild look in his eyes neither had ever seen there before, not even when Ramen attacked them on the Lookout. His robes were still tattered, and he was clearly beat up, but it wasn't anything life threatening. Before either could get a word out, he started to babble at higb speed, "Oh Kais, I'm so glad...there was a fight, I...and Mumbo, and the Dragon Balls...and then it exploded, and Banshee...I didn't, I couldn't..." he spoke in disjointed phrases as his brain moves faster than his mouth could keep up with. After a moment of this he just stopped and caught his breath, "... I'm glad you're here." he repeated, and he sounded a little hoarse.

Myu's PL: 50,000/150,000
Now, where would Myu be of all places? Usually a curious majin like herself would be all over the action that happened over on the Lookout, but it seemed as if she didn’t show up at all. There was a good, logical answer to this however: Myu was just having herself a good ol’ nap just below the Lookout and the Tower. She decided to perch herself on one of the trees in Fukurou Forest and slept there the entire night undisturbed. Myu seemingly was in some sort of deep sleep however to notice all the stuff that happened up on the tower, so no explosions or crashes were enough to stir the tiny majin. Myu was quite the heavy sleeper, more than likely taking this after her father… oooor it’s just the fact that she’s like a cat. Now usually she would sleep for the entire day in this state of rest, but she decided to actually wake herself up for once. Myu really wanted to train with Nashi today, and it would just suck if she went and missed a training session. Myu would let out a loud yawn, stretching her arms out and smacking her lips. “Mmrrr… Myu thinks that was a good nap.” She would say to herself, rubbing at her eyes as she began to float upwards. “Myu wonders what Nashi is gonna teach her today! Maybe he will teach us how to fight! Dodge! Kick! Hehehe!” She giggled, and after a little while of floating, she would finally pierce the clouds and…
What? What happened? The majin would pause for a second, tilting her head once she noticed how damaged the Lookout looked. Did the people up there have a training session while she was gone? Because wow it looked kinda intense! But for some odd reason, she had a strange feeling in her gut once she noticed how… broken the place was. To make matters worse, she had another flow of emotions going through her. Sadness, worry, happiness, giddiness… Now the first two were normal, but as for the last ones, not so much. Just seeing the Lookout all broken made her feel this way, but then the realization would arise… “Nashi!! Nashiiii!!! Chime! Daruma!!” The majin would let out a loud squeal, releasing a shockwave behind her as she sped up, now having the speed comparable to that of a speeding bullet.
The majin would find herself floating above everything, her eyes grown wide. What happened? Where were her friends? Are they okay? The training wasn’t bad, right? Nashi was okay? Along with everyone else? She frantically looked around and… “NASHI!” The majin would scream out loud, tears beginning to fall from her face. Now she felt a sudden wave of relief once she saw her teacher, all safe and sound. Soon enough however, she would notice two more figures! One was the strange weird-looking guy, Daruma! He was Myu’s friend and was of course happy to see him alright! But then there was a green guy, and… she hadn’t met him yet but she felt so familiar with the figure. It was a sort of mix between deja vu and nostalgia, but Myu had no clue why she felt that way. “Daruma! Chime!!!” She screeched, immediately dashing down to the trio to meet them. The majin would be too focused on the three to notice the certain android cat, and immediately she began to bounce around the trio, “Is everyone ok? Did something happen? Myu was napping! She didn’t know! Myu, Myu! Sleep, sleep!” She would jump up and down frantically in one spot before jumping over to Nashi, looking up at him in confusion. “Myu is sorry for not being on tower! Myu so sorry! Myu sorry, sorry!” Myu would then hug onto Nashi’s leg, gripping onto it pretty tightly.

| Desolation |
Somewhere, across the world, Synthesia sighed to himself as he flew back to the Pride Trooper base. Another conflict resolved- his active days played out much like these. It was autopilot, hopping from situation to situation. He couldn’t even remember what he just did. He had planned to stop in at the base, maybe take a bit of a break for the day. Do a bit more training, maybe. Maybe try and familiarize himself with some more tech. Easy stuff. Common stuff. Simple stuff.
But alas, as soon as he stepped into his room, a notice popped on the panel beside his door. He peered at the words as he read them, the notice having come in just before he set himself to ‘break.’
Commotion in the skies over Fukurou. Rubble. Loud noises. Investigation is recommended.
Well, that wasn’t all that pressing. It was probably just Nashi, yelling out his attack names, blasting his tower by accident, etc, etc.
But wait, the Korin Tower was a tree. What else could’ve made rubble? It wasn’t like there was any other structures around-
His gut sank.
At breakneck speeds, Synthesia bolted through the skies. As fast as his leaf-wings could take him, as fast as he could move. Faster, faster. He hadn’t moved with such urgency his whole life, his body straining under the use of his heavy telekinesis. So fast was his movement that onlookers looked up at the flaming red figure, pointing and marvelling at the shooting star that had graced the skies.
At least someone was happy, down there.
As he approached the lookout, his speed slowed, his eyes widened, and his spirit cracked.
Of course. Of course it had to be the Lookout. Where else would it be?
Of course he missed it. He missed everything. Of course the resolve he had found after not helping was unfounded. How could he have let this happen?
He could barely feel his feet hit the lookout. His clothes and skin, smouldering from his journey at breakneck speeds, seemed to be restoring themselves, but everything was done erratically. It was if Synthesia wasn’t even conscious of his actions.
He looked at the group of people on the lookout- Chime, Daruma, Nashi and a small pink cat thing. They were alive. The knowledge brought him only momentary relief from his grief, only momentary relief from his crushing failure that was evidenced all around him. ᵗʰᶦˢ ᶦˢⁿ’ᵗ ʳᵉᵃˡ, ʳᶦᵍʰᵗˀ he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. But of course, he knew the answer to his question. He knew.
ʰᵒʷ ᶜᵒᵘˡᵈ ᵗʰᶦˢ ʰᵃᵖᵖᵉⁿˀ Or, more accurately, how could he let this happen? He didn’t even know what had occurred here- but that was even more proof of his incompetence. Despite his speed in getting here, Synthesia’s legs had never felt weaker before. He fell to his knees, his hands digging into the lookout in pure frustration.
He didn’t know what happened here. He almost didn’t want to know.

Daruma was safe. Thank the Kais, Daruma was safe. Nashi exhaled, relieved. But, at the same time, he felt an even greater sense of horror. Daruma being alived was a very positive thing indeed, Nashi realised, which is the sort of thing that wouldn’t go in a nightmare. He realised that this real. The desecration, destruction, desolation; it was all real, it all happened. What could have done something like this, pleaded Nashi. Who had that sort of power? Who had that sort of motive? Nashi was afraid that he knew precisely the answer to his questions.
”D-Daruma, by the Sacred Land, you’ve no idea how glad I am you’re alive.” He looked to the Lookout below. Trees were knocked down, there were craters in the ground, a large missing chunk of the Lookout itself, and what was with that weather? ”I’ve no idea where anyone is, what did this.” But he did have a suspicion, a suspicion that refused to be quiet that he had to try to silence in the corner of his conscious mind.
Only one person could have done this: Ramen. Or, if not her, Maple and Mumbo.
Nashi deactivated his bukujutsu, falling to the squared tiles which no longer made a perfect circle.
And, then LEO. I should have known!
At the sight of the false feline Nashi got his Power Pole out. Damnit, he should have warned that President Carrot guy about his traitor to catkind! Now here he was, surely responsible for the atrocities laid out before them. ”A-Alive? Where?!” ... Never mind that, possibly.
Where was Chime? There was Chime.
”Chime!!” Nashi would fly as fast as he could fly and try to take Chime into a hug at the end, but Chime tried something similar on his own, and they all sorta ended up in the middle prolly.
…
... Of course.
”Mumbo. I should have known.”
But there were more questions. Where were the Dragon Balls, precisely, and who was this Banshee? But they were questions for later. For now, their home was in ruins and their kami in tears.
Upon hearing his name, Nashi decoupled from the hugthing and looked to Myu. He smiled; he was glad she was safe. He didn’t know he could stop himself against an attacker if she ever came to harm. Myu would bounce, even jump, and then firmly attach herself to his leg. ”Myu, it’s OK. Everything’s… Everything’s OK. I’m sure Chime can tell us in full when he’s a bit more up to it.” He spoke quietly so that, ideally, Chime wouldn’t hear and feel as if he was being pressured into divulging everything. Unfortunately for Nashi, Namekians had especially keen hearing.
Nashi, Daruma, Myu and now Synthesia hadn’t been there to stop it. They were all away, as if this had all happened by the roll of a die. One by one they reached the Lookout, each appalled by their individual absences, and… and it was all, just, so… No. No, I can’t think like that. I can help.
”... Synth, this isn’t… it’s not like what you told Ledinjin. We didn’t know, we couldn’t have… have…” He was trying to comfort his friends but with each syllable that sputtered out of his mouth, it became harder to speak. He needed comfort as much as Synthesia, Myu or Daruma, sure, but only one of them had seen the event first-hand.
”Chime, are y-you alright?”

PL: 8,000 Nashi seemed glad that he was okay, but Daruma's mind was completely tied to finding Chime. A large robotic cat rose out of the large whole in the Lookout, and brought it's head down to meet Daruma and Nashi. It was a bit confusing, but one thing was very clear from what it said as it plopped down like a real cat of it's immense size might. Chime was alive. Thank the gods. Just as Myu arrived, Synthesia arrived too, and then... Chime appeared and zoomed towards them. In a hasty embrace, Chime and Nashi collided into an awkward double hug in the air. Without stopping to wait at all, he ran over in a single bound and gripped Chime tight, as Nashi let go to talk to the others. They had just arrived, so Daruma didn't have to worry as much about them. From his side, he had wrapped his limbs tightly around Chime's torso and buried his face into the little green figure's shoulder. "You d-dolt...! You should have called for help! You should have called me! I could have- Y-You- I just..." Tears welled in his eyes as he softly cried words into his friend. "...I'm so glad you're okay." Rubbing the tears from his eyes into the damaged cloth of Chime's robes, he refused to let go of his friend as he took in a deep breath to compose himself. After a moment, he thought he should probably ask questions about what had happened. "I... So I should probably should probably ask..." His eyes look around at the absolute devastation, clinging a little harder as a hiccup caught in his throat, still shocked by how much had been done to the place he loved so dearly. "W- *hic* What the heck happened??" KP: 3/3 - Carro Hofferson -> Chime -> Majin Myu -> Synthesia -> Nashi

CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 80,000
It was good to see proper proof that these two were friends of the Kami- LEO was a little worried they'd have to deal with yet another traumatizing fight for both of, Earth's leaders. She watched idly as Chime tearfully reunited with his shaken friends. More and more allies began to appear, and each one had strikingly similar reactions. Shock, dread, regret, and that lingering feeling of "Why wasn't I there," and "I should have done something." LEO could understand the view, but seeing everyone continuing to mope and wallow over and over and over again got annoyingly repetitive. Couldn't they see that they weren't helping by standing there and being sorry for themselves?
The irked cat huffed, growling quietly to herself. Their response, while very counterproductive, was warranted. She glanced back to the group, sliding her head closer when the poor Kami was questioned by his concerned friends. What had happened? LEO's gaze met Chime's shaken eyes for a moment... It certainly wouldn't be fun for him to be the one to tell the story, would it? "LOADING MEMORY BANKS..." LEO's voice droned over the group when the Ogre asked what had happened. A small panel on the side of her cheek slid away to reveal a small lens, which projected a holographic screen close by. "MEMORY DISPLAY LOADED. COMMENCING REPLAY."
The blank hologram flickered to life, and so began the recollecting of the events prior through a cat's-eye-view. First flashed her vision locking with a frightened-looking Carro at the base of the Senbyo's Tower, explosions resounding above as flecks of debris fell from the dark clouds. Then, the brawl with the Black Stargoon- blast after blast leaving no mark on the regenerating beast. Dosu's entry, his attack on the armored LEO, crack after crater forming on the Lookout below. The ensuing fight when Carro and his companion were dragged into the depths of the Lookout as Dosu, Chime, and Banshee faced off above...
LEO slowed down the fast-forwarded pace of this scene. This was the part that even Chime wasn't around for. This was the part where they learned what the devilish Majin wanted to wish for...
Static. LEO's vision had faded in and out during Carro's rampage, but her view from Carro's helmet was noticeably much higher above the Majin. The screeches and roars from her sound recordings told what her visuals couldn't. Flashes of punch after punch landing on the Majin, a brief visage of Banshee fading into nothing as her attack struck the Stargoon, and finally LEO's visage finally coming into focus as the fleeing Majin left a four-starred orb in Chime's palm...
And with that, the hologram flickered out of existence. LEO's gaze remained solemn as she grumbled to herself, turning back to the group in front of her. "SEVEN DRAGON BALL LOCATIONS HAVE BEEN RECORDED. PREDICTED STATUS: SAFE. REMAINING RISK OF DEATH: 2.3%." A lot of horrible things had happened, but the fight was over, and they'd finally be able to close the chapter on this hunt for the Dragon Balls very soon. "RECOMMENDED COURSE OF ACTION: REGAIN ENERGY AND BEGIN REPAIRS. CURRENT LEVEL OF PRODUCTIVITY IS CALCULATED TO BE 0.4%." Moping around would only do bad. Her unblinking gaze remained trained on the group. Just what did they want to do next?

After his stumbling attempt at explaining everything, Chime just clung to Nashi, and then Daruma when Nashi moved away to talk to the others. He didn't actually look up to see who was there, he just kept his face buried in the ogre's shoulder and listened. There was one frantic, high-pitched voice he didn't recognize...and Synthesia. He dreaded having to turn around and explain to the Pride Trooper that his teammate was gone, but he knew that moment would come in about a minute, maybe two, tops. Everyone was owed an explanation, really, but especially him.
Daruma was crying a wet spot into his robes and all Chime could do was hug him tighter. "I couldn't call you," he told him, quietly, "Then we'd probably both be dead. There's no way we'd be that lucky twice." His mind was back at the last attack on the Lookout some weeks ago, when the place was filled with Ramen's red lightning. Chime had tried to block a devastating attack meant for Daruma, and by some stroke of fate, they'd both survived their fall from the sky. He knew he'd do something like that again, in a heartbeat, and the chances of them both surviving like that again would be slim. Even if he'd had a chance to call for help in all the chaos, part of Chime was glad he hadn't. It meant everyone else was safe.
The sound of LEO's recording playing got his attention, and he wiggled himself free of Daruma's death-grip so he could see. He didn't go far, just plopped down to sit on the tiles right in the middle of everything and watched the footage. As it went on, and he saw Mumbo and Carro's exchange, he frowned. "He wants to fight the gods?" he muttered to himself, under his breath, "Well, I guess he had to start small..." Chime kept his gaze away from the video for the rest of it, instead watching everyone else for their reactions...and taking a minute to puzzle over who, or what, the pink thing clinging to Nashi's leg was. It looked...sort of like a cat? Was that his cousin or something?
As LEO's footage ended and the android announced some sort of statistics, Chime took a deep breath. He'd had his moment of respite, now he had to explain. Everyone here...they were looking to him for guidance and reassurance. He felt like he didn't know what he was doing any better than they did, but...he had to try, right? For them.
"Alright. So. We've been looking for the Dragon Balls, you guys know that already. Mumbo found out I had one, and tried to take it from me, so...I had to fight him, of course. Carro came to help-- oh, he's inside resting, he's alright...more or less. Dosu showed up too, to help Mumbo, and it got...messy," Chime winced and looked at the floor. That was all he was prepared to say on that part, for now.
"...But the first person who came to help was Banshee. I don't know how she found us, I've never even met her before. But she jumped in to save me anyway, and..." His eyes flickered up to where Synthesia was kneeling, "She threw everything of herself into one big attack. She's just...gone. We've got all the Dragon Balls now, so we technically won, but...the Stargoons are still out there, I couldn't..." He trailed off and his gaze dropped to the floor again.
"...I'm sorry. She wanted me to tell you what happened."

What on Earth happened during her nap? What would’ve caused all this destruction and devastation? Why would someone do that? Myu was so confused with what’s going on, looking up at her teacher, hoping that he knew what was happening. But he said that everything was okay, so… she had to listen to him. Nashi was her teacher so everything he said was right! Everything might seem bad now but… it’s under control! Whenever Chime’s name was mentioned, she would turn towards the namekian, expecting him to go ahead and spill the beans right then and there. She would’ve done the usual ‘oh hey, my father knows you’ and all that kinda stuff, but for some reason she wasn’t up for it. Heck, even someone else she ‘knows’ arrived, who was none other than Synth. The majin would gulp and remain quietly, gently tugging on Nashi’s clothes as she tried to piece everything together. Myu would soon enough let go of the blue cat, standing right next to him as she watched all the commotion. Everyone was so sad, so dreary… it was enough for the little majin to feel sick to her stomach. Everyone had tears going down their face, talking bad about themselves, and the overall air just felt stagnant. “Myu is so… confused.” She would whimper to herself, sitting down on a broken tile.
The majin would hold her stubby hands up to her head in hopes she’ll figure out what’s going on, but she would stop whenever a robot cat thing would speak out loud. Something about memory banks, replays… then boom! A thingy would suddenly appear out of nowhere! Myu’s eyes grew wide in amazement, but that would end almost immediately once she saw…
“Mumbo…”
She blinked a couple of times, tilting her head off to the side as she watched the recording. It was oddly… neat. Mumbo looked oddly neat. It’s just like what she remembered him- wait, no! She doesn’t remember him, and he isn’t neat! He’s… a bad man, a very, very bad man! But even then, she couldn’t shake the strange feeling she had towards the majin. There would be a clip of another guy, but she didn’t exactly ‘know’ who he was. She didn’t get any visions or whatever of him, so she could only assume it was just some stranger helping out- Stargoon. It was a Stargoon, for sure. But wait, what in the heck WAS a Stargoon? She was receiving more questions than answers just watching this, but of course she wouldn’t go ahead and mention them, not wanting to make everyone feel even worse than they already are.
Whenever the clip finally ended, she would glance over at Nashi, and over towards Chime. He would begin with his side of the story, explaining the events that happened and such that she didn’t really know about. Once he was finished, she would just glance down… but slowly she would waddle over to the Kami, “Myu thinks… everything is okay! Bad guys aren’t here and… if they show up, we can kick their butts! Myu can definitely do it! Myu learns all neat stuff from Nashi to become strong.” The majin would say with a smile, “Big dragon can fix everything! Nothing is bad! Banshee, friend, can come back! Lookout fixed! Everything poof! Woo!” She would hop into the air, giggling with childish glee. “Myu can fix Lookout now though if Chime wants her too! Myu can help! No more being sad!”
Myu would then walk over to a fallen tree, grabbing ahold of it before beginning to hover up in the air, attempting to try and put said tree back where it was. She completely forgotten about her discomfort towards these trees it seemed, but if it could make anyone happy, she’s willing to do it!

Banshee.
He saw it from LEO's projection, but he heard it from Chime. Time seemed to slow to a crawl, space seemed to get so much colder. He was still, completely still, as he took in the sights and heard the words. She had died. She had went out fighting, hoping that she would take Mumbo with her- but he wasn't taken with her. In fact, he left. He just left. She had sacrificed herself for nothing, this entire battle had been for nothing. Of course it was for nothing.
It was all because of those Dragonballs. Those stupid things that didn't need to exist. He saw the exchange between Chime and Mumbo, he could guess why he was here. He could fill in the blanks himself- Mumbo had attacked, Banshee rushed to Chime's aid, they had fought valiantly and fended off their pursuers. Nobody was killed.
Except for Banshee.
Ever-so-slowly, Synthesia got to his feet. He watched with blank eyes as Myu tried to put the tree back- his garden was gone now, but it was far from the first thing on his mind. He didn't hear a word she said- all he heard was noise, all he heard was an annoying, scratchy voice that told him absolutely nothing. He silently wished that she would just shut up. He didn't know who she was- he didn't care, either. Come to think of it, he thought that way about a lot of things, at this moment. He just didn't care.
It dawned on him then that the Dragonballs really had been made for nothing. They were made to bring back those who had fought in Satan City- but those were already up and kicking. One was right beside him, in fact. It was completely pointless to make them- but here they were, causing tragedy for no reason at all. No reason at all.
What did he care if some far away planet got their population revived? The Saiyans did nothing but cause them problems- they brought the fleet here, they directly caused the destruction of Central City, they toppled his precious life which he loved so much. Now, Banshee died for them. She died for people who did nothing but cause them harm. Sure, this damage was also caused by the Fleet, and it would be repaired as well. Banshee should be able to come back, too. But really, that didn't matter. This never needed to happen to begin with. He didn't need to be going through what he was if it didn't happen.
Synthesia expected himself to be angry, he expected himself to yell and scream and have a fit, but it never came. He just felt empty. There was no point in getting angry. There just wasn't any point.
He got to his feet, slowly, methodically, and cast an empty gaze at the gash taken out of the lookout. It was in the library where Banshee had given her life.
"...I told you that making those balls were a mistake." He didn't look Chime in the eye as he said it, turning away from the group to head for the crater. "...I'm going down to where Banshee died. I'm not leaving until she's back. Leave me alone." He spoke curtly and cordially, hopping down into the wedge. He matched the scenery to what he saw from Leo's point of view, and sat himself down in a spot he was fairly certain that Banshee had last been in.
He sat and waited. He would keep waiting until he saw her again.
synthie will be exiting the posting order here if nobody stops him! he'll be sitting down in the library

Nashi wasn’t as good at handling his emotions as he seemed to think he was. When the false feline set up the holographic projection to play back through past footage— memories, one could almost say— Nashi did not notice that he had been holding his breath. He saw Mumbo and Chime, as was expected, but there were others: an oddly-coloured male wearing the Goons dress but in red, and another one; oddly pale, wearing a hero-esque costume, and… yeah, definitely a ghost. He didn’t know what ghosts looked like due to his time in the Otherworld, but due to the classic film Ghostseizers, starring Bill Moray! ”... Of course.” Back when Maple and Mumbo tried to take down the Lookout the first time around, the kais were all Maple would blabber on about. There were two important differences, though: one, now Nashi knew what kais were (something you swore to when angry), and two, now it was Mumbo doing the meaningless blabbering. And, then, static. Nashi covered his eyes with a hand and looked down, to the cracked tiles below, but looked back up again when he saw— oh, no, nonononono… Heroes had fallen. Again. Nashi looked over the side of the Lookout, his body paralysed with anger, though he was doing a good job at hiding it. Nashi was confident that no one would have died had he been there, but he stayed quiet. He thought he could take out Mumbo on his lonesome, if he had to. And he did have to. His teeth were pressed against each other with a great force, his fists clenched, as he listened to Chime describe Banshee’s sacrifice. The air seemed afraid to move. His legs twitched, his eyes battled themselves closed, and everything seemed a bit less blue. Myu was trying to bring some positivity into the discussion, which Nashi appreciated, but at the same time… ”I’m going to find him,” he said simply, perhaps even a bit quietly. He spoke with a great calm— no, not calm exactly. Determination, more like. ”Do not follow. This will all be over soon.”His feet left the tiles, his body moving towards North City. Towards, as Nashi could only assume, Mumbo. He had spoken not in anger, despite his inner feelings. But it was his actions that mattered, and here he was flying off to face an enemy he held no hope against. Why couldn't he just... stay? Comfort his friends? Mend? Well, it's quite simple: Nashi wasn’t as good at handling his emotions as he seemed to think he was.
He couldn't bear to face his emotions, to make himself vulnerable.
But one thing he could face, for better or worse, was a baddie.

PL: 8,000 As he pressed himself tightly into his friend, still clung like both of their lives depended on it, the answer to his question came from two sources. The large feline automaton projected a visual display, showing a video recording of some of what went down. There was a lot of intense combat, and near the end of it the footage devolved into flashes split up by static and loud audio. Then, the fight was over. Someone had vanished in their attack against Mumbo. It quickly became clear who this was from Chime's explanation and how devastated it seemed to leave Synthesia. Banshee, the ghostly member of the Pride Troopers he'd heard a little about from his friends. Closing his eyes, Daruma bit his tongue to hold back heavier streams of tears. More pointless, undeserving death. He hadn't known her, but she saved his best friend's life. Banshee didn't deserve to die.Synthesia headed over to the large empty chunk missing from the lookout, and left. Daruma held his hand out away from Chime and at Synthesia for a moment, like he was grasping and for a moment he thought he might call out to him... but he couldn't. Nothing he could say would fix this for Syn. But, against everything he'd been taught his whole life, Daruma hoped that Banshee would slip through the cracks and escape Hell as soon as she could. Then Nashi made a stupid decision. All on his lonesome, he calmly asserted that he could somehow take down this threat that the combined forces of Chime, Banshee and Carro had only just scraped by on. Before Daruma could say anything, he watched his fellow attendant blast off into the sky in search of the dastardly majin that caused all this grief and misery. Daruma quietly slunk down, still tightly holding Chime. "Nashi..." He mumbled to himself quietly, praying to everything that he could that Nashi wasn't running off to see himself dead. He didn't want his friend to die. Clapping his hands to his face, he released Chime and sat, legs pointing outward crookedly and resting on his knees. He wearily rubbed more tears from his eyes, and coldly traced along the scars of battle in the tiles beneath him. He punched the tile, cracking it's fragile remains under his fist, before sighing deeply and looking up to face Chime again. Reaching out for his hand, he whispered quietly with a hoarse throat from the crying. "We should rest." KP: 3/3 - Carro Hofferson -> Chime -> Majin Myu

CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 80,000
The reactions to what exactly had taken place on the Lookout's tiles was yet again, very similar throughout the group. But that didn't mean it was a very good or helpful reaction. LEO's eyes fiercly narrowed at both Synthesia and then Nashi as they took their leaves, both parting on sour notes. The feline growled, slinking her head forward as the two left. She glanched back to the Kami and the distraught ogre and bouncy pink cat that remained, a deathly sharp glare remaining in her eyes. She glanced from the group to the direction Nashi and Synth had departed, back and fourth for a few moments.
LEO hissed to herself, raising her body and stomping away from the trio. With one tap of her claws on the tiles, she opened a portal and dove in, leaving nothing in her wake- save for another agitated growl. Had she really up and left the tramautized Kami and his friends just like how his two poorly-reacting friends did? Moments passed, and the massive mecha didn't reappear...
But it wasn't long before the orange swirl reemerged upon the Lookout's tiles. LEO pounced out of the depths of the rift, clacking back onto the sacred grounds with her back arched. Her trot- though her footsteps were clearly angrily loud still- held more of a leisurely, confident step. She approached the three remaining, form lowering and body whirring with the machinery inside clanking and clacking. A panel beside her trunk flew open, ejecting several objects right out towards the three. First a folded table popped onto it's four legs, followed by a good dozen freshly purchased bags of McBaos. She'd used Carro's cash to swiftly buy some snacks- hopefully he wouldn't mind. From fries to burgers and several different types of fruity drinks and sodas for the Namekian and his friends, it almost looked like LEO had bought nearly everything on the fast food restaurant's menu. But she wasn't done with her plan to cheer up the group just yet. She lowered her head closer, setting a Baotendo swap that was carefully cradled in her teeth down as well. It belonged to Carro as well, but an emergency like this called for the authority to borrow it. He had lots of games on there, after all! She even spewed out a small ball of yarn for the majin feline before finally deeming her gifts to be enough. LEO flopped onto the floor again with a contented purr, resting her head close and within petting-range to the others. She seemed proud of her plan, at least.
