A relaxed sigh escaped Vocado as Vegia's power faded. He worried for a moment that she was still raring to go. Although he wouldn't have minded it, he wasn't exactly in the mood to have one or both of them end up in recovery for too long. With the situation calmed, Vocado's tail unfurled, waving back and forth to betray his happiness. It was good to have a friend.
"Right," he said, chuckling at Vegia's suggestion. "My cousin and I used to call out our attacks a lot as children. We used to pretend to be the heroes of old-- Zucceta and her ilk. It's a hard habit to break, even so many years later. Thanks for the criticism, though."
Vocado's eye wandered as Vegia continued, searching for their meal. Surely most creatures had fanned out way before the battle reached its zenith, but with any luck, some unfortunate boar or wolf would stumble in this direction. If not, it simply meant more time training his hunting skills, and it never hurt to hone those.
"If I had any criticism for you, though, it may be a lack of variety." His tail's sway slowed, as he spotted something off in the distance. Just some odd branches, or a meal in waiting? "Control over your energy is important, and you've nailed that cleanly. But it won't matter much if the Arcosian you face lasts past those first few waves. He'll be able to read you like a book after that."
He turned back to her, and nodded. "Back in a moment."
Without another word, he hopped into the treeline, and chased after his prey. A big fat cougar, ripe for the cooking!

I say that this is a good way to end it. We'll just fade to black and reconvene in another thread.
