Chard was in a pit. A sandy pit, no less, with the accursed grainy substance surrounding him as high as ten meters up - enough to the point where he'd reached sandstone and not just sand. Didn't mean his jacket wouldn't need to get cleaned after this, given how much Kami darned SAND was here. He tapped his foot, arms crossed and back devoid of his trusty sword as he glanced up to see a familiar blue alien. "Myria. How is this supposed to help again?" He asked calmly, craning his neck. She had mentioned this being a test for his 'inner strength' - and the universe knew he was a sucker for stuff like that. Though, now that he was standing in a sandpit in the middle of a scorching desert he was a bit confused. It wasn't actually a trap given he could literally fly out at any moment. So what was the point?
"If I'll be doing testing on my latest invention-" she paused to brandish a wrist-strapped device "-the portable Blutz Gen, ya fool. If it works you'll go bananas-" Chard bit his lip to prevent his undignified snort "-and might wanna... I dunno. Beat me up probably. I don't think you'd get so strong that you'd pose a real threat quite yet, but just to make sure I put you in a pit so I can get a running start."
Ah. Yeah, once he had mentioned he'd gone Great Ape before, Myria had seemed a bit... oddly affixed to the whole prospect. Not that he didn't want a way to gain power, but if the off-chance of him hurting someone on accident was likely, perhaps it wasn't the greatest of ideas. Oh well. Myria was tough cookie, for some inexplicable reason. If things got out of hand, she'd probably be able to bop him back to reality.

Hale was heading back from a unique trip to a more unique market, carrying an over sized bag as he flew back towards Muscle Tower, but below he spotted a strange sight he wasn't sure how to react to at first. From the looks of it someone was stuck in the sand and above him was someone waving something around, and his first thought was he needed to get there and get down there quickly. Dropped the sack in the sand as he landed, clearing his throat loudly he walked up and looked at a strange looked female, and down at the guy he assumed to be stuck in the sand, but not looking at all too concerned about it. "You okay down there?", addressing Chard with a confused look. The longer he stood there the less it made sense, and by the time he had shown up they had finished talking so the entire scene was just strange.
Sorry for the short reply, just trying to get a few quick replies out so people aren't waiting too long.
