“Chime was right, this world is truly magnificent.”
Oboe spoke to no one imparticular, as he sat on the bridge of his Damaged space ship trying to repair the navigation systems. The task itself had been daunting, but luckily not as difficult as he’d have initially thought as most of the computerized mechanisms onboard were in need of a massive overhaul in the first place. Outdated, and barely functioning – The sage truly was marveled he made it in the first place. Fukurou Forest was home to much wildlife and some tribes of Nomadic peoples, so it was perfect as a staging ground for him to remain until such a time as he could go home.
The days had been kind to the Namekian traveler, his Nomadic presence having been welcomed warmly by most of the planet’s inhabitants. Still, every time he’d look up in the sky his curiosity continued to rise. Upon his first arrival on the planet, Oboe had spoken to Chime – the proclaimed ‘Guardian of Earth’ – and found an oddity in his tale of where he had taken up residence, at the top of the tower before him. He’d mentioned how high up it had gone, but out of respect to the others privacy, had yet to of approached his domain. Now, however, on the eve of his ships last bits of work – and with him preparing to return to his homeworld – Oboe felt the urge to check in on his ‘Little Brother’, give him a current update on their home planet and that goings on.
A somber thought crossed his mind as he realized that in his fervored excitement at not dying upon atmospheric entry, the Sage had yet to tell the wayward Namek that the leader of their people, Guru, had passed away due to the events that had unfolded back home. Sighing sadly, the Namekian Sage realized there was no time like the present to drop in and visit, swiftly exiting his ship in the meantime. Gazing up once more at the stone structure, its massive pillar rising high into the air, Oboe took one final inhalation before exploding with flames of energy. His body would lift off the ground, taking to the air like a leaf on the breeze.
Exploding with momentum, the Namekian would soar upward, his body fast approaching the pillar reaching up to the heavens before curving his flight path upward and – through practiced precision – flew just above the pillar as he cleared the distance in nearly no time. Upon reaching the peak, he found an oddity – two large structures, the first which he denoted to Chimes other room-mate. The second and largest platform seemed to hover mystically in the sky – its position and stature was more magnificent than any other he’d ever seen. Recognizing the location as his destination, Oboe would soar higher and higher until – finally – his feet touched down on tile.
Gazing around, he’d noticed a calm but peaceful zone, as if all the negativity in the universe disappeared just by standing here. Calling out, he hoped that his follow Eggling was here.
“Chime? Little Brother? Are you here?”
