Scallio let out a yawn, stretching out his arms and cracking his knuckles. Leaning back in his chair and propping his legs up onto the table in front of him. Directly next to a stacker of flyers that hadn't really been touched since Scallio put them out. Recruitment wasn't going so well for him today. In spite of the fact that he had set up shop in the busiest section of the Radditsu District. People flocked by his little stand in droves. Only a select few glancing over at the Crimson Apes recruitment desk. In the five hours since he had set up shop. He'd only had three people stop and ask him about the Crimson Apes. Of those three, only one was really interested in joining. The other two had wanted contracts done at a reduced price. To which Scallio quickly declined.
He'd spent the last two hours struggling to figure out what he had been doing wrong. Ultimately he settled with people just not being too interested in a hardly known band of mercenaries. At least not at the moment anyway. If he really wanted to get their attention he'd likely had to do something flashy. Something that would set him apart from other groups attempting to recruit in the same stretch of the district as him. Before doing that, however, Scallio was taking a bit of a break. Hence his currently relaxed and leaned back position. The urge for a cigarette had hit him about an hour ago, and he'd just been putting it off.
The merc reached into his pocket and pulled out his pack of smokes. He pulled a single cigarette from the pack and placed it to his lips. Bringing a finger to the tip of the cigarette, a spark of ki was released from his fingertip, setting the cigarette tip ablaze. He inhaled deeply, pulling the cigarette from his lips. An exhale just as deep as the inhale left him. A steady stream of smoke shooting upward. "A little relief from this stressful shit." he took another long hit. Scallio removed his legs from the table and leaned forward in his chair. Eyes scanning the crowds for anyone of interest. No one was standing out to him. But he could swear he could see someone making their way towards him off in the distance. Was someone else finally interested? tags + notes OOC★ dandy ♫

Date and Lisha Thread PL: 24,000 and 11,034
Lisha is using the scouter
Just how many days had they been here without a single damn applicant? Ever since setting up shop here, all the Wolfbane cousins had been getting have been given were snarky assholes and battle hungry twerps that couldn't hold a candle to either of them. At this point, they'd been making a game out of it by trading off who had taken the most down day by day. Although Date was clearly leading most of the days, the constant battling had served to strengthen Lisha, who'd been becoming slightly muscular.
"Man, today's been such a drag," Date uttered, kicking back on the couch in their small apartment while the sounds of a brawl in the kitchen tapped in his ears, "How many applications have we gotten, Lils?"
Lisha was in the kitchen, scrapping with 2 guys a little towards her weight class of 140 lbs. They were both about 5'6" and had been looking they had red water balloons developing on their faces, with black eyes to go with it. Lils had them cornered in there, the silverware having already been discarded to the side outside a window located right next to the dining room. She rushed forward, arms outstretch and catching the two by the sides of their heads. Being knocked into each other, the two saiyans went out cold. She flicked her hair out of the way and dragged the two out of the kitchen, saying, "Zero... And so far, I'm in the lead for today. This marks me at 8 to your 7."
"Wait, when did you-"
"We had that small local gang come in again, trying to mess us up. I got four of them while you got-"
"Dude! I thought we agreed that if one or more guys knock each other out while fighting one of us, it counts," Date interjected!
Lisha shook her hand, still holding one of the KO'd saiyans, saying, "Not if they get knocked out by the other person sending the other to said person. I sent that red headed cue-ball into the one guy you're thinking about, which caused them to go both out the window and into the neighbor's car."
"... Oh right! You are ahead in that case."
Lisha went over to the very window, having yet to be replaced since the first time they got here, and tossed the two out it. With a couple quick claps to dust her hands, she then asked, "Hey, so I'd been doing a little looking around, to see if we could find anyone who we can work with, even if it's temporary work."
"Yeah, you mentioned that a few days ago. Did you find something?"
"Yep! There's this guy trying to run a group called the Crimson Apes. Apparently, he's been having issues trying to get some recruits as well."
Date leaned in, his fist and elbow propping up his head on his knee. He asked, interested, "Go on. What's the catch?"
"So, I'm thinking since we're having issues as well, we can consolidate our efforts to get something going. Maybe, instead of us being in charge of our guild, we could start anew for the Harborage by-"
"Lils, I get that you don't wanna be sitting still, but this is the family business we're trying to take over and clean up," Date interjected again, standing up, "Before we come up with some wild plans, lets take a look. Where's this guy at?"
Lils pointed towards the southwest wall, clarifying, "You feel that big power level near here? About two blocks, southwest of here. Apparently the guy's got a lotta, 'Umph,' to work with, from what the people I, 'interviewed,' told me. He's got the moniker, 'The Crimson Apes.'"
"'The Crimson Apes...' Sounds like a biker gang on Earth, or a baseball team. Alright, you lead."
Date got up, putting on his old black battle vest to go with his navy blue attire. Lils went out through the hallway and out the front like a normal Earthling, while Date stepped out the window. The two saiyans where he stepped were still out cold, so he avoided stepping on them. It was bad enough that they got wrecked the way they did. Lisha however, as she caught up, stepped on their chests, forcing them awake. She told them, "We're going out, so I don't wanna see you idiots around here unless you're looking to apply with a reasonable power level! Now get the hell outta here!"
They scrambled up and begrudgingly ran off. Date huffed a breath of amusement, seeing the cowardice! Lisha got to flying up above the buildings, as did Date. It didn't take them long at all to arrive at the place where the guy was at! What they saw was just a simple wood stand, set up in front of a building in the shopping district. Lisha touched down first near the stand with Date close behind.
"Huh," Date spoke first, advancing ahead of Lisha to the stand, "I'm not sure why, but I was expecting a bit more than just a stand on the sidewalk."
"Dude, we managed to get our spot just because of my ties to the news network on Earth," Lisha stated, calling his comment out.
Date shrugged, looking down to the guy running the stand. He was a saiyan with a red mohawk with a modern take on the Saiyan battle armor. It looked more fashionable than functional, much like Date's armor nowadays. He also could tell that the guy was a freakin' giant, too! He chose to ask the obvious, "Yo, guy. Are you the one running this stand?"
Lisha closed her eyes tightly and crossed her arms across her chest, thinking to herself, 'Oh joy! He's gonna blow this job, isn't he?'

It was a duo that had approched his stall, a man and women of reasonable height and build. Going off a quick glance Scallio got the impression that they were reasonabily strong. Although how strong was hard to gauge without a scouter or the ability to sense energy. The male of the duo was the one who approched Scallio first, something the woman didn't seem to keen with judging by the expersion on her face. Out of respect Scallio put his cigarette out on the table. Grinding it down flat and lifting his eyes up to give the possible recuit his attention. Given the question the man lead with shortly after Scallio couldn't help but think maybe he shouldn't be. Clearly he was the one running the stall after all. Did they see anyone else around? Scallio let out a sigh and leaned back in his chair, "Please tell me you're the brain of this dynamic duo.". He glanced past the man and towards the woman as he spoke. His attention quickly returned to the male, hoever, "Yes I am." he replied bluntly.
If they were trying to make a good first impression the duo was off to a bad start.
Scallio couldn't really afford to be picky though. They had been the first two people to approach him in hours, so it probably wasn't in his best interest to go pushing them away. That didn't mean he couldn't be at least a little bit snarky though. "That name is Scallio, captian of the Renegade and leader of the Crimson Apes" he introduced himself with pride, tapping on the flyers next to him as he mentioned the Apes. The flyers in question weren't anything fancy. Just a picture of the company's logo, a red Ozzaru, and the words 'Join The Crimson Apes Today' in bold letters above it. Below the Ozzaru was information relating to how to get contact with the Crimson Apes. Namely where their ship, the Renegade, was docked at within the captial. "I assume the two of you are interested in joining the Crimson Apes or...." his tone grew heavy and brief flash of anger crossed his face. "are you more people here to waste my time?" making it very clear he wasn't going to tolerant anything foolish from the pair.
His face relaxed shortly after he finished speaking, his eyes scanning over the two of them for a prolonged period of time. He was very clearly sizing the duo up more intently now. They really did look as though they had seen their fair share of combat. "If you are here to join though I'd say you at least look like you can handle yourselves." he admitted, "But that isn't really saying much. The Crimson Apes don't accecpt weaklings." he added further. A statement that wasn't entirely true now that he was thinking about it. After all, he had allowed Narissa to join, and she wasn't exactly strong in the typical meaning of the word.
"What are your names?"

The guy was annoyed by the obvious question quickly, questioning if Lisha was the brains of the duo.
"You could say that," Date replied, stopping Lisha from replying herself. She frowned, wide eyed in confusion as well as she simply pointed soundlessly to her cousin. The guy introduced himself as Scallio and was the head honcho of this simplistically named group, as well as naming something called the Renegade!
The fellow mercenary introduced himself with Scallio's inquiry, saying, "Good to meet ya, Scallio. We're the Wolfbanes! I'm Date, and my cousin here's Lisha."
"It's good to meet you, Scallio," Lisha spoke up.
Date continued, "We've been in the mercenary business for a long bit of time, and over the last year, we've been lacking any work... A dry-spell of clients for our own group. So joining up is what we're looking to do, but in a different way... Lisha?
"Hmm?"
"Do you wanna explain?"
The shorter, tailless saiyan woman approached with a shrug. She sat on a corner of the stand to Scallio's left, away from him before speaking. She stated, "We want to make a joint partnership. We've got our own group called the Wolfbane Corps. It's a fairly old family business of ours that has, over the years, lost what it used to represent..."
There was a deep rooted issue with the family, but it wasn't something they could go into. However, the implication, at least to the two, was there. The question, though, was if Scallio could get where they were going?

Date and Lisha. Scallio committed the names to memory and raised an eyebrow as the male conintuned to speak. A name he mentioned in particular standing out to the mercenary. He could have sworn he had heard the name Wolfbane somewhere before. He tried his best to remember where exactly but he struggled the memory clouded within his mind. All he could remember was his father mentioning it to him in passing once or twice. So frustrating to have it on the tip of his tongue but not quite be there. Scallio's poor memory aside, he had't been expecting Date to to openly admit he was fom another mecenary faction. Let alone let him in on the fact they were surffering for cilents. The paranoid part of Scallio's mind began to assume they were here to railroad him. Chase him off Vegeta and stop him from stealing their cilents away. Subconsciously his body began to tense, preparing for a fight to to break out.
It wasn't need. Scallio's muscles relaxed when it was mentioned that they werre interested in joining forces. "Oh? What exactly do you mean by different?" this was such a stange situation. Something he'd found himself in more and more often since arriving on Vegeta. He turned his attention away from Date and towards Lisha as she began to explain things in better detail. His head turning as he took up a spot on his stall. Thankfully it was sturdy enough to support her weight and not some cheap piece of wood. A join partnership though? He'd never considered anything like that before. That wasn't true, he had come to Vegeta with the purpose of partnering the Crimson Apes with the Queen. He just hadn't considered doing it with another mercenary faction though. Something did click within Scallio head, however, when Lisha brought up the Wolfbane Corps. A lightbulb going off inside of Scallio's head, "I knew I recognized that name." he stood up from his chair, "My father wasn't very fond of your family." he further added. Of course that didn't mean anything to Scallio, he hated his father after all.
Scallio wasn't an idiot and he was able to pick up on the hint Lisha was placing for him. "That's a dangerous thing you're asking of me." he folded his arms against his chest, eyes closing as he thought things over. If they were asking what he thought they were this was a big thing. One that if done correctly would gain the Crimson Apes a lot of rep, but one the other hand it could also be the total end of the faction as a whole. It had already falltered under his father's leadership. Something they were just starting to recover from, and they wouldn't be able to survive another blow like that. "I'm interested." he admitted opening his eyes and looking towards Date. "But before anything we need to talk details." this wasn't the place to do something like that though. They were going to need a place far more private, and Scallio knew exactly where to go.
"Let's go to my ship. It's docked nearby and it'll give us a more private place to discuss our business.

It seemed that the Wolfbane family name was still present here on Vegeta! This put an extra need of wariness for the cousins. It'd be really bad if their respective parents found out about their plans so early! Scallio suggested that they go to his ship to talk details privately.
"Good idea."
Lisha nodded, sliding off the creaky stand and waited for Scallio to lead the way to the docks. She inquired, "So Scallio. Aside from the business we're bringing you, have you had experience working in any guilds of the past? You mentioned that your Dad knew of our family, so I feel I should ask."
"Lils. Don't go news investigator on him."
"Credentials are important, though! You know exactly what I mean, mister, 'Bad Man'!"
Date grunted and narrowed his eyes at his cousin. Lisha smiled sheepishly at him, rubbing in the mercenary's face in his own rep.
To reply to your inquiry if it was alright having heard of the Wolfbanes, I am perfectly alright with it! Also, if you want us to walk and talk, I am good with that btw!

Scallio took the lead as they departed from the stall. It probably wasn't the best idea to just leave it there unattended but there wasn't much for anyone to steal. Outside of the flyers anyway, and he could always print more of them. He gave a passing glance over his shoulder to ensure the pair was following behind him. They were. That was a good sign, it meant they were at least somewhat serious about the offer. The Saiyan lit up another cigarette as Lisha talked. Inquiring about his previous experience when it came to arrangments of this nature. He exhaled a stream of smoke, "Nope." he answered honestly. Lying about his experience wasn't going to do him any good. Especially since they were about to meet the rest of his crew anyway. And lord knows those fuckers would go blabbing about it anyway.
"Truth be told I haven't been leading the Apes very long." he took another hit from his cigarette, flicking the ash onto the ground. "I think it's been...7 years now?" had it really been that long? It didn't feel that way. Time had a funny way of slipping past you when you weren't paying attention. "I took over from my father shortly after I turned eighteen." as he thought back to that day his face became strained. "He kind of ran the company into the ground over the years. It turned him bitter and cold, and he wasn't thinking correctly." he was also an abusive asshole but that was par for the course. There was a long pause before Scallio spoke again. He was thinking of the best way to phrase his next statement.
"So I killed him and I've been in charge ever since." straight and to the point. It was best to get that little detail out of the way now regardless. Didn't want them finding out and then getting angry that he hadn't told them sooner. "That shouldn't affect our bussiness going forward, should it? I know some people might find it difficult to work with someone who's killed his own father." he wouldn't fault them if they changed their minds now. His past action didn't exactly paint him in the most trustworthy of lights after all. Although, given what he assumed this partnership was about it might have scored him some bonus points. He took another drag and waited for a reply. tags + notes OOC★ dandy ♫

Scallio led the two of them along. His story on how he became the leader of the Crimson Apes was pretty much what they were going through right now, except for the part where the company was driven into the ground. Their family's old business became a crime syndicate that needed to be taken down and be brought back to the old way it was. Scallio was doing just that: Bringing his own family business out from the brink with new life!
"7 years is a long time, depending on who you ask, Scallio," Lisha replied, catching up next to the giant Saiyan, "Granted, if you're not getting work, then you may as well be starting out of the gate!"
"Not to mention you saying you took the family business by force won't be a problem. My old man's also a bit of a jackass himself and could use some time behind some cages with some acid pouring on him every now-"
Lisha looked back, cockeyed as she told him, "Date, your Dad doesn't deserve that sort of treatment!"
Date shook his head, saying, "You know that he deserves it more than I do, Lils. You've worked just as a bartender trying to get work at Z-TV, and as a medic for them! He brings people younger than 15 into the, 'Family Business.' Hell, he did that with his own flesh and blood!"
He pointed at her. She huffed in anger, looking ahead. Date caught up the them, saying to Scallio, "That's not an issue, Scallio. We've worked with far worse. So, with that bit of info, do you wanna ask us anything?"
"I got another question, actually, and then you can ask us whatever you need to," Lisha spoke up, putting her hands behind her as she smiled up to the guy, "Do you have a way of contacting people in the group? As far as I can see on you, I don't see any sorta scouter."
"That's a good point," Date iterated right after, looking up to Scallio, "Should we get any jobs that end up on opposite ends, if we end up working with each other, we ought to give each other a heads up. There's no reason we ought to screw each other over just for some pay."

"It doesn't feel that long but I guess I haven't been paying much attention," he admitted. He glanced over his shoulder, "We've been getting contracts, don't get me wrong, just none of them have been what we need." you could only get so much attention from transporting cargo or dealing with common thugs. "Sure the bills are getting paid and we managed to scrape by but I want something more than that." largely because he knew he and his crew were capable of more. It was just a shame that no one else seemed to be aware of that fact. With the way things had been going recently hopefully, that was going to change. Scallio was relieved to hear that his revelation wasn't going to affect their potential partnership.
"Father's am I right?" seemed that Date held some ill-will towards his father. A disdain for one's father was a strange thing to bond over but Scallio would take it. Although Lisha didn't seem to keen on the way Date spoke of his old man. Judging from Date's reply to her though. It didn't seem like she had seen the worst that Date's father was capable of. The Wolfbane family had quite the assorted history it would seem. He was curious though. Just exactly how bad were the people Date and Lisha had worked with in the past? He imagined that they had to be pretty horrible to beat patricide. Scallio was actually about to ask. As the chance to ask questions of his own had been given. But Lisha quickly spoke up before he could get anything out.
One last question of her own and it was an important one. "Of course I have a way to get in contact with my people. Do you take me for an amateur?" what kind of leader would he be if he didn't? "I don't keep my scouter on me if I'm not doing anything that requires it. It gets a little irritating having that lens in front of your face all the time. Plus, it makes my ear sweat which is equally uncomfortable." hopefully that cleared everything up for her. He did agree with them though. It be unfortunate if they ever ended up on the same job and wound up screwing one another over."Once we get to the ship I'll have Narissa set you up with our contact information," he added as started picking up his pace. It wouldn't be too much longer before they arrived. Might as well ask a few of his questions now that he had a chance.
"You said that you've worked with some worse people. What exactly do you mean by that?" he directed his question towards Date. He figured out of the two of them he'd be more inclined to his questions. At least the ones that dealt with the corruption of his family.
"More importantly what exactly has the Wolfbane Corps got themselves into? It has to be something bad if one of their own is taking such drastic measures." tags + notes OOC★ dandy ♫

There was another bit of like mindedness. Scallio wanted to do more, and so did both Lisha and Date! Especially Date! Scallio went to further clarify that he have a scouter, but he didn't like wearing it so,much. Date agreed with a nod, although it was tilted as he replied, "True, but you gotta play it safe by always having one of those suckers on you. There are different models that work like shades and glasses for seeing a reading, like Lisha's there... Technically, it's mine, but she was the one who got me it."
"Compliments of my now former job, at this ppint," she quipped enthusiastically, tapping part of the bridge of her scouter glasses on her forehead, causing the lens color to change to being clear of color before taking them off to show to Scallio, "Not enough companies back on Earth know how properly make glasses visors like these. They respond by touching positions ok the glasses, like if you were to tap the left hinge near where it begins next to the left lense, it'll activate the standard scouting function. it also goes around the ear, creating a kind of loop that your ears slide into the middle of. I personally like it because I got too much hair that covers my ears up."
A little after that,Scallio questioned them about Date's Dad further,,wondering what the Wolfbane Corps got themselves into. Date stated, "Repeated involvement of kids to do the nasty work for him. Not to mention, having taken jobs by scum using children for things, and demanding their 'cargo get there 'safely.' That is part of it. Unfortunately for the family, they gotta cover the old bastard and his friends' screw ups sometimes, as well! So he has to be taken out. This is what comes with letting people into families without investigatng them!"

10,500 PL"I'll have to talk to Narissa about getting scouter upgrades it seems." he admitted to the duo, "I had no idea they had gotten that advanced." technology wasn't really something that Scallio kept himself to up to date on. The circumstances of his upbringing hadn't really allowed for much attachment to tech. His early years having been spent confined to the halls of his father's ship. Forced to engage in activities his father deemed necessary for a warrior to learn. Thankful he had Narissa to handle things like that for him now. Thinking about it now he was surprised she hadn't considered upgrading their scouters already. His crew was working off of old school models after all. Back from when his father had been in charge of things. As Date explained what his father had gotten into Scallio's facial expression began to change. It had been relatively neutral up until this point. His brow furrowed and hints of deep anger filled his eyes. "Disgusting." he spat, his voice laced thickly with contempt and anger. Children and their involvement in illegal and dangerous activities was something Scallio strongly opposed. As a child of such circumstances himself it resonated deeply with him. His father had conceived him with the express purpose of manipulating him after all. "You've just given me a personal reason to see your old man reduced to space dust." he said rather coldly. To think that such a well-known faction of mercenaries had fallen so far. It was disappointing, to say the least. A few minutes after the conversation began to take it's darker turn. The trio of mercenaries arrived at the dock housing Scallio's ship. The Shipyard was fairly populated but not enough so that it was crowded. Before heading directly to the Renegade Scallio made a pit stop to the dockmaster. Dropping off the small amount of zeni that he owed the man. Afterward, he motioned for the duo to follow him once again. Scallio's ship was docked in the towards the back of the yard. "Don't judge the Renegade too harshly when you see her. She's in need of a fresh paint of coat and some repairs, but she's reliable," he explained as they finally arrived at the spaceship. It was a worn down and aged space vessel. A rustbucket in every sense of the word. If Scallio's goal had been to impress them with it, he'd surely have failed at it. Luckily that hadn't been his reason for bringing them to the Renegade. He stopped moving directly in front of the ship. Turning himself around so that he was facing the pair directly for the first time since they had started walking. Scallio's arm folded against his chest. A heavy sigh escaping from his lips as he looked back towards the ship. "Oh, one more thing before we head in. If you have any tech that you're particularly fond of I'd hide it now. Otherwise, it may end up undergoing the 'Narissa Treatment'." the Narissa Treatment being what Scallio called whatever the Heran did when she got her hands on new tech. Which was largely pull it apart to see how it worked. She didn't always put said tech back together though. "That being said we'll go in whenever the two of you are ready." tags + notes OOC★ dandy ♫

Scallio seemed to develop a grudge for Date's Dad just with his description alone about what he'd done! Date nodded, saying, "We'll get to the gritty details later on with how to approach them and the family working under them when we've gotten to your ship, Scallio."
They entered a shipyard that had a lot of people going around, replacing warp drives, engines, and all sorts of mechanical parts that helped their ships get space-born. They eventually came up to a ship that looked like it had seen much better days! It had looked like a very old school fighter jet that could only climb to the tens of thousands of feet in Earth's atmosphere before having its parts freeze up, increase by ten-fold to allow about 15 people to live on board comfortably at best.
"Man, your ship needs a full spa-day," Lisha scolded looking up to it, "Whatever mechanic you got in there right now's not working with the optimal tools to fix this gal up!"
"I mean," Date spoke up, an eyebrow raised up with his arms on hips, "The fact you got a ship this size means you definitely got stuff going for you... Well, continue leading on."

10,500 PL - Narissa: 5,000PL
Scallio nodded his head, confirming that he was ready to enter the ship. He turned, pressing a button on the bottom of the ship causing a hatch to open, and a ladder to descend. It looked like someone had forgotten to lock the hatch again. It was probably Kale. He'd have to chew him out later when they didn't have company. Scallio made his way up the later and into the ship. The inside of the ship wasn't any better than the outside. Its walls were worn and rusted from years of neglect and poor care. The scent of grease and oil from a room a short distance away sifted through the air.
From the same distance away the sound of various voices could be heard. Judging by the tone of them, whoever was talking seemed to be in a heated argument. Annoyance flashed briefly on Scallio's face before calming again. "Of course." he didn't know what he had been expecting. The Saiyan looked over his shoulder and motioned for the two to keep following him. He'd take advantage of the argument to show off his leadership skills. Something he was fairly certain he'd honed over the years.
He entered into what was considered to the be 'barracks' of the ship. It was a relatively large space. A total of four bunk beds lined the walls. But there was clearly enough room for one more on each side to be placed. In the center of the room were an ugly patchwork couch and a small brown round table. Sitting on the couch was a burly Saiyan with a bushy dark beard and spikey black hair. He currently had a pinkie in his nose, his gaze focused on a blue-skinned woman with bright orange hair. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail. And she had grease stains all over her face and clothes.
"I'm not your personal mechanic you know that right?" this Heran was Narissa, the one in charge of all the repairs and tech aboard the Renegade. She was also Scallio's student and the most recent addition to his crew. Despite having been with them for a few months now. She was still finding her place amongst the rest of the crew. And the crew wasn't exactly sure how to feel about her themselves. She wasn't a fighter after all or at least....she wasn't one yet.
The Saiyan on the couch, Kale, flicked the pinkie that had been his nose at her. "Well, what else are you here for then princess? Because if you're not fighting and you're not fixing our shit then what are you doing?" Kale winked an eye at her. "Wait let me guess you're sleeping with th-" he didn't get to finish the sentence. Scallio stepped up behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder. Gripping it tightly and glancing downward at Kale with a calm but frightening look in his eye.
"She's what Kale?"
Kale jumped, "B-b-boss!"
"She's what Kale?" Scallio asked again.
"Shes uh....nothing boss."
"That's exactly what I thought. Now, why don't you go lock that hatch you forgot to do the first time. It's like you're asking us to get robbed." he ordered. Kale nodded his head and quickly darted up. Making his way past Date and Lisha and towards the entrance hatch. Once he was gone Scallio let out a sigh and slumped himself down into the couch. "You have to learn to get along with the rest of the crew Narissa." he glanced towards her, but her attention was on Date and Lisha.
"Who are they?"
"Or you can ignore me." Scallio pinched at the bridge of his nose and then motioned at Date and Lisha. "Date and Lisha this is Narissa." he waved his hand at the Heran.
Narissa had already made her way across the room and towards the duo. She held out her hand towards Lisha and held a smile on her face, "Hey there! It's a pleasure to meet you guys." she glanced over her shoulder at Scallio. "Are they clients?" she inquired.
Scallio chuckled, "Something like that. I'll let them explain it to you." tags + notes OOC★ dandy ♫

Scallio let the two of them aboard, and upon opening the hatch, appeared annoyed at something. Date and Lisha recognized that motion: Someone messed up just now. Upon them climbing inside, it wasn't surprising to see why they messed up. The walls were chaffing and rusting over, pipes needed fresh seals or overall replacements, and wires stuck out gaps. The ship's condition could be described in one word: Derelict.
They came upon the living area, where two people were arguing. A ready to explode Heran and a slacker of a giant saiyan. She was apparently manning most of the repairs despite it not being her job! Scallio scared the saiyan as he was about to say something Superbly dumb. He exited the area, bumping Date's shoulder as he walked by.
Date stuck his bottom lip out as Lisha was approached by the now excited Heran, Narissa. She seemed to focus on her, ignoring Scallio trying to talk to her! She greeted her with a hand extended to shake Lisha's, who promptly did so, saying, "At some point, we might even be partners. The job's completion, however, is gonna determine how that works. Right, Date?"
"Right," Date said, seeming a bit distant and notably irritated.
"Uh, Date..."
"Kale was that guy's name?"
"Date, no. Job first."
"Oh, I know! Just asking... Kale? That's his name?"
"... So the job we need you guys to do for us is to take out the higher ups in our family mercenary group."
"Leader's my old man," Date added, "We're going to be taking over the family business from the creep and we are hiring you guys to help us out. He uses kids to do his work, and gets a lot of unnecessary casualties, most often related to the targets his scumbag clients are wanting. They are based on Earth, so we gotta head there at the base and place of business called the Hunter's Harborage... So Kale was his name, right Scallio?"
