|262 YEARS OLD|
Shinjins are godly beings, praised and revered for their strength, wisdom, and talent.
Aida had none of these things.
Born from a regular fruit of the Shinjin tree, Aida was never destined for the glory of a Kaioshin, yet being among the 'common' Shinjin was still a blessing in itself. Yet throughout her upbringing, it quickly became apparent that Aida wasn't your average Shinjin. No, she was far, far below that. A failure in almost every way possible.
Her teacher, Serva, a wise and old Kai, took her under his wing from birth. Aida was taught in the arts of combat and magic, yet she never excelled at either of these. The young girl struggled with the most basic of magical spells, often failing to materialize even the most simple of objects. This combined with her laughably low Battle Power caused Aida to see herself as a failure, the laughinstock of the Kais.
Yet Serva assured her that talent needs time to blossom, and that patience was key. Aida was very young for a Shinjin, after all. Years passed, though. And no matter how hard Aida worked- no matter how hard she trained...She never improved.
This frustrated the young girl greatly. She became brash and short-fused, often lashing out at Serva and his 'Ridiculous wisdom quotes'. Serva understood the girl's frustrations, yet couldn't help but feel worried for the chaos that was brewing inside of her mind. Aida had to be taught the principles of balance, and harmony. Peace.
Aida and Serva went on a long journey together throughout the Heavenly Realm, spanning several years. Serva attempted to teach Aida about the importance of balance, that creating harmony between good and evil would result in true peace. Together, the two would look at the Mortal Realm, and simply observe the mortals and how their civilizations progressed.
Sadly, all Aida saw was violence, war, unjustness, and bloodshed.
The centuries-long conflict between Vegeta and Arcose was an eye-opener for the young girl. The rise and fall of many Queens and Emperors, the destruction of planets, the Mazoku-Saiyan war...How could Serva possibly think that 'Evil' deserved a place in this world? All Aida saw that Evil caused was death and destruction...Where was the peace that Serva spoke of?!
Even the 200-year era of peace that Aida and Serva observed turned out to be nothing but a moment. A glimmer of hope that was stripped away, once again by the hands of evil. This was the final straw for Aida. Seeing the World Trade Fleet and Saiyan Kingdom declare war on eachother once again cemented a single fact for the young Shinjin:
'As long as Evil roamed free, the mortals would suffer.'
However, Aida's teacher was shocked to hear such outlandish claims from the young Shinjin, and saw them as a large warning. Serva grew desperate in changing Aida's views on the Mortal World. After many heated discussions, the calm and wise facade of the elder Kai began to crack. In their final argument, Serva screamed at Aida to obey the way of all Shinjin.
That day, Aida ran away from her teacher.
Never before did the young girl feel as hopeless as she did now. In her eyes, the only person to ever care for her had betrayed her, lashing out at her only because she had a different view of the world. She felt a fire within her take hold, the repeated thought of Evil roaming free causing a deep-rooted urge to take hold within the girl. 'This has to stop', she thought. 'All evil needs to be purged!'
But how? Aida was so weak, so powerless! No matter how hard she tried, she could never become strong enough to purge the Mortal Realm of the evil that plagued it. This sinking realization caused great dismay, and ultimately brought the Shinjin to tears. She was a failure, through and through.
But then, in her darkest hour, a sinister voice called out to her.
Aida did not know why, but the voice was enthralling. She called out to the voice, but it only responded with her name, beckoning the Shinjin to follow. A haze clouded her mind, as if she wasn't able to think for herself in that moment. And so, she sought out the source of the sinister voice.
It led her to a pulsating and vibrating tear in reality itself. A portal that cut through dimensions, pulsing with dark energies. The voice, now clearer, introduced itself to Aida.
''I have been watching you for a while now, Aida. I am Moringa.''
Aida froze at the demonic presence held within the voice. She fell backwards, and watched the portal with wide eyes.
Although, the Demonic voice assured her to not feel alarmed, and that maybe the two could help eachother. Moringa explained that he saw just how determined Aida was to rid the world of evil, and that he could grant Aida the power to accomplish her dream...For a price.
At first, Aida retorted, asking why the Shinjin would ever believe someone so evil and demonic. Moringa laughed, and explained further.
''You see, Aida. I am an ancient and powerful Demon. Millenia ago, I ruled over the Demon Realm with an iron fist, yet I hungered for more. I invaded the Mortal Realm, and attempted to seize it for myself. It was then that I was struck down by the Kaioshin, and sealed within an ancient and powerful weapon. My power continues to fade, and I must feed on the souls of my own kind to regain my strength. Is that not what you want, young one? To strike down all Demons?''
Aida winced, and averted her gaze. She couldn't deny that fact, and how desperate she was in attaining her dream, but this...? Again, the Demon beckoned to her, whispering to her that it could grant her the power she needed. All it needed, was the Souls of the corrupted.
Again, Moringa's voice was enthralling to her, despite how sinister it was. Her body moved on it's own, standing upright and reaching into the portal. What she pulled out was a large scythe that pulsated with dark energy. A wave of purple magic ran up her arms as she held the scythe, and Moringa cackled darkly.
A pact had been made between the two, and their souls were now linked. Should Aida ever disobey Moringa's wishes, the Demon would be free to take her soul instead, instantly killing the young Shinjin.
But Aida would never disobey the scythe, would she? After all, they had the same goal.
Wielding the powerful scythe, she traveled to the mortal realm with one simple goal:
To fulfill her dream.
[UT]Energy Sensing: Aida is able to sense and feel the intensity of someone's Ki, and can loosely assume their level of power in turn, or track down a specific target if she recognizes the Ki signature. This doesn't work on Androids, or Aliens with the 'Antisense' trait.
[UT1]Telepathy: Another common technique taught among Shinjin. With this, Aida is able to contact anyone she knows and speak with them through their minds on a planetary range.
[SU1]Healing Touch: One of Aida's first magical techniques taught to her, and almost the only one she didn't fail spectacularly at. Utilizing her magical prowess, Aida can mend small cuts and restore minor bruises, healing someone for 33% of their power level. Costs 1 KP.
[SU2]Mending Touch: A greater form of Aida's Healing Touch. This technique allows her to mend wounds akin to deep gashes and fractured limbs, healing someone for 66% of their power level. Costs 2 KP.
