HISTORY
Moringa used to be a powerful and imposing king of the Demon Realm, who ruled over his land with an iron fist. In his prime, there were none who dared oppose his reign, and all who did were quickly eradicated by Moringa's own hand. Moringa's lust for power knew no limits, and was ultimately what caused his downfall.
Sometime during his reign, Moringa no longer felt satisfied by simply ruling over most the Demon Realm. He tore a portal through reality itself, and invaded the Mortal Realms in an attempt to seize it for his own control. There were little warriors able to stand in his path, but there was one that proved too difficult for the Demon King to defeat: The Kaioshin.
Moringa was struck down by the Kaioshin himself, and sealed within an ancient and powerful Scythe before being cast away into the deepest pits of HFIL. Thousands of years passed since that day, with Moringa's power fading all-too-slightly every day. For the first time in his existence, the fallen King felt hopeless.
It was then, though, that he sensed the desperation of a young Shinjin. A weakling, cursed to spend eternity without strength or talent. Her body and mind were weak, but Moringa sensed something remarkable about her: her SOUL.
She was the key to Moringa's freedom, he simply knew. Someone so weak-minded and malleable, yet carrying such a strong soul; she was the perfect candidate to wield him in battle. The Demon called out to her, and once Aida had anwsered his call and took up the Scythe, Moringa created a pact between the two, binding their souls together.
A deal had been struck.
'Obey me, and harvest the Souls of Demons and the Corrupted for me so I may feast. In return, you may use my power however you desire, Shinjin. Break our pact, however, and you shall perish.'
It was only a matter of time, now.
Soon, the Fallen King could be freed from his prison.
Offensive
(Starter) [A1]Light's Edge: Moringa's wielder infuses the scythe with their own Ki before slashing the air, causing a crescent wave of white-hot Ki to blast forth. Deals 33% damage and costs 1 KP.
(Starter) [UA2]Light's Limit: A more powerful version of Light's Edge. This technique puts heavier strain on the weapon, yet results in a more powerful wave of Ki. Deals 66% damage and costs 2 KP.
(Starter) [MA3]Ain Soph Aur: The true, and most powerful version of this technique. Moringa's wielder resonates their soul with the Demon and amplifies it with their very essence. Afterwards, Moringa's wielder lashes out with the scythe with all of their might, causing a colossal wave of Ki reminiscent of a Solar Eclipse to blast forth and cut away everything in it's path. Deals 100% damage and costs 3 KP.
(48K Slot)[VA3]All-Devouring Light: A specialized version of Aida and Moringa's most powerful technique, 'Ain Soph Aur'. The wielder resonates their soul with the Demon's and amplifies it with their very essence. The holy and unholy Ki merge into one to form a powerful crescent wave of white-hot Ki which is launched forth. It cuts away everything in it's path, the sizzling mix of Ki hot enough to burn through nearly any defense. Deals 66% damage, and costs 3 KP. Boasts the Piercing variant.

(24K Slot) [B1]Dark Aura: Moringa taps into it's inner Demonic Ki and covers it's form in a dense aura of dark purple. Blocks for 33% damage, and halves bleedthrough if Moringa is within 60% PL of the attack. If not, the damage is reduced by 25%. Costs 1 KP.
(32K Slot)[UB2]Dread Aura: Moringa taps into his inner Demonic Ki and covers it's form in a dense aura of dark purple. Blocks for 66% damage, and halves bleedthrough if Moringa is within 60% PL of the attack. If not, the damage is reduced by 25%. Costs 2 KP.
(40K Slot)[MB3]Doom Aura: Moringa taps into his inner Demonic Ki and covers it's form in a dense aura of dark purple. Blocks for 100% damage, and halves bleedthrough if Moringa is within 60% PL of the attack. If not, the damage is reduced by 25%. Costs 3 KP.
(32K Slot)[UB2]Dread Aura: Moringa taps into his inner Demonic Ki and covers it's form in a dense aura of dark purple. Blocks for 66% damage, and halves bleedthrough if Moringa is within 60% PL of the attack. If not, the damage is reduced by 25%. Costs 2 KP.
(40K Slot)[MB3]Doom Aura: Moringa taps into his inner Demonic Ki and covers it's form in a dense aura of dark purple. Blocks for 100% damage, and halves bleedthrough if Moringa is within 60% PL of the attack. If not, the damage is reduced by 25%. Costs 3 KP.
Support
(16K Slot) [SU1]Phase Shift: Moringa continues to have strong ties to the Demon Realm, so much so that he is able to shift parts of his form through the dimensional barrier to phase through incoming attacks. This only works if the incoming attack is under 100% of Moringa's PL. Costs 1 KP.
Utility
(8K Slot) [UT]Soul Surge: Moringa taps into the very essence of his soul, drawing out it's utmost power, but making him much more vulnerable in return. This technique grants a +x1/-x3 to Moringa's multipliers, and lasts 3 posts.
(56K Slot)[UT1]Soul Splitter: Moringa is able to momentarily split his soul into two, halving his power to create an identical copy. Once Moringa splits his soul, the scythe shrinks in size and copies itself, creating two smaller weapons for his wielder to dual wield. Should the split soul get KO'd or perish in battle, Moringa loses that power for the rest of the thread. Flavored 'Multiform'.

TRANSFORMATIONS
Resonate (x2P): Moringa resonates his soul with that of his wielder, amplifying the battle power of the Demonic scythe twofold. A dark sheen of purple covers the weapon during this form.
Dark Pact (x4P): Moringa consumes a small portion his wielder's soul and combines it with his own. This causes strange, glowing markings to appear on the scythe's blade, and drastically increases it's power. (Requires Devil Lamp)
