They claimed to be an unsuspicious bunch, but Synthesia had his doubts.
However, they weren't any doubts pressing enough to act upon, and thus, he didn't voice his concerns. At the least, they seemed human, except for some suspicious appendages that adorned the head of the redhead. Synthesia decided that perhaps he was just imagining things- it was dark, after all. He let the others speak over him before clearing his throat and continuing.
"I am a natural 'creature' if you will. Sorta like a plant, but, y'know, not." The brief and vague explanation was all that Synthesia was planning on mustering up. He would be fully prepared to launch into in-depth information about himself, specifics, theories, you name it. He had a child's pride, after all. However, he decided not to elaborate, simply for the sake of simplify. The group was large and he couldn't stand going over things again were one to not understand it.
"I dunno if you'd call it concerns with you all specifically, but caves are dangerous." Synthesia explained his reasoning, leaning forwards with a playful smirk. "You've got a couple of strong fellows with you, hm? I'm no expert but I don't think you'd get that way naturally. If you were doing some crazy training regimen, a stray attack with a little too much force could topple the cave, maybe cause a landslide. Landslides aren't fun, y'know?" Synthesia spoke matter-of-factly, in a voice perhaps a little too condescending for someone of his age and of someone in his position.
He then turned to address the final man who spoke to him, and his eyebrows were raised, a slight tint of surprise on his voice. "So you know about my home, I see! I wouldn't say I get too involved with that bunch, I make a habit of letting those who were in the forest long before I came be, y'know? Even if it's rightfully mine, it'd be rude to just kick them out."
The smile on his face was playful, gentle even, yet his words amounted to barely more than 'if the whim hits me, I'd boot them out'

Originally Katz was here to see the view from the top of the mountain, never in his dream he would meet so many people and some new things like the this plant boy, and there's also this Captain Koban person that keeps getting mentioned since earlier. It seems that the lady that only wears a shirt is some part of a team with this Captain Koban as a leader, and Katz of course had no idea what team that is. And it also seems that this mercenary man also knows a bit about Captain Koban, now Katz feel like being left out, was this a gathering of some team that is captained by Captain Koban? But then again it seems that according to the lady in white shirt Mercenaries are not too fond of them, and this man seems to be a mercenary himself so it might not be a gathering of Team Koban like what Katz thought.
The conversation goes on, and it seems that the boy who had come via some strange root like appendages earlier is some kind of natural creature, something resembling a plant yet is not a plant either. Previously the mercenary guy had asked if the boy had something to do with a certain tribe called Karinga Tribe from Fukurou and the boy confirmed that Fukurou was somewhat his home. Seems like the boy was some sort of the Ruler of the Forest and claimed that he only letting the Tribe mentioned by the mercenary guy earlier use it out of whim, from the way he talks it seems that this boy is trying to imply that he can easily kick you out of the forest if you do as much as to offend him.
After chatting for a while, it seems that the group was really here because they are worried about Katz well being or either afraid that Katz is some suspicious fellow that is trying to start up something, but Katz preferred to think that all of them is checking up on his well being. Then Katz realized that he had only given his name to the nice lady that called herself Mal, he had yet to introduce himself to the lady from the Team Koban and the mercenaries and also the plant boy. Katz thought that since they are here to check up on him, the least he can do is to tell them his identity, not that he had anything to lose by telling them that.
"Okay, firstly I thank you for your concern regarding me. My name is Tori Katsu, but people usually called me Katz. I am an adventurer and I had come here because I had heard that the view from the top of the mountain is beautiful and wanted to see the view from the top myself. Well to tell you the truth I am also climbing this mountain to train my body to adapt to harsh environment, but as you can see, it seems that it's still too tough for me so I take a rest inside this cave and I only trained my body and not my Ki so don't worry, I'm not going to harm anything on this mountain." Katz scratch his cheek while he introduced himself as well as telling them about his motive of being here. "Anyway, nice to meet all of you, kind people!" Katz face was painted with a soft smile.

Mal didn’t offer up her own information so freely. She shrugged off the redhead’s comment about mercenaries. While she technically wasn’t a merc, she was a legal Bounty Hunter and to some that was close enough. Then again, Mal typically stayed on the right side of the law when out on her day job. Perhaps they’d get to talk about Koban, perhaps not, either way, Mal figured no big deal.
As the Saiyan asked the plant guy what his deal was as well, Mal tightened the laces on her boots, making sure they felt good and sturdy before finally getting back up. Despite having come so far, it was still a long way down yet and she had miles to go before she slept. As Plant Guy spoke, Mal felt he left out a lot but, hey, no one asked her her life story in rude, questionable terms so she felt okay with that. Looking around again, Mal assessed the group yet again. If everyone came here for the same reason, what now? She supposed they could all have a big training session, perhaps away from the cave… or they could explore together.
“So, I was going that way,” she gestured to the cave and pushed a button on her scouter for the flashlight. Taking a few steps into the cave Mal didn’t look back, but she did pause. “Going to do a bit more physical training, myself.” Not necessarily by herself, but for herself, at the very least. The open invitation laid out, Mal took a few more steps inward.
So, Mal’s gonna explore. You guys can stay and chill or come with. If you decide not to follow, Mal’s making her exit. Either is good with me.

As attention shifted to the plant-man in full, Belladonna was still curious as to how this Mal knew Koban. Glad Kats was okay, but no longer needed to check on him and completely lost on what the Karinga tribes were, the red head found her full focus on the other female in the room...err, cave. There must be a story here, not to mention the curiosity the woman created from her presence this high up the mountain in the first place.
As the others continued to converse and Mal started to move deeper into the cave, Bella decided to go after her. Boots touched down to the hard floor for the first time and off she went. A couple quick steps had her up alongside the girl, sharing in the light that her scouter cast off in front of them. Eyes dangerously on Mal’s features instead of the path ahead, she got right to it.
”So, I have to ask. How is that you know Koban? I don’t recall him saying anything about someone that matches your description, but he doesn’t share all of his adventures with me. Let me guess, you required aid and he was there to provide it?” She asked, a little overzealous as her tone rose just slightly, bouncing off the cave walls as they walked.
Her words were general really for that was how Koban met most people. Bella often wondered how long the list of people was that the Captain helped over the years. Likely longer than she was tall ten times over. She would never know for certain though, there was no list of those helped by the Pride Troopers. That wasn’t what it was about.

"I got some old family ties from that place," Date explained bluntly, uncaring about the tone this guy gave about those living there, "Granted, while I wasn't born there, I've been there a few times. It's a nice place, but doesn't have much thrill outside of the ancient Korin tower, you know?"
The kid spoke up, calling himself Tori Katsu. Date looked over to him, smiling and saying, "The name's Date. I also am called Dante by some other people, if you choose to go with that. If you're looking for a training partner, I can help with that! I'm in the midst of my own training, so we can work off one another."
Date looked to see the ladies had gone into the cave, aiming to explore. He pointed to them for Tori, stating, "Hey, since we're up here, we might as well go exploring this cave with those guys, Tori!"
The mercenary turned back to the plant man, telling him, "You can come join us too, if you'd like. Although, you'd likely not enjoy the musty environment without any sunlight to work off of."
It was meant to be joke, about the plant things. He wasn't necessarily aware that this green headed man with plants growing from him was actually a old plant-based entity! Date, at that point, would begin jogging down to catch up to the two ladies exploring the cave. He rushed over to them, hearing the redhead asking about Koban, before laughing in a superior sort of manner. Date brought up an orb of ki to help light up the area around them. There didn't appear to be any visible veins of metal or gems as of yet. Just stalactites and stalagmites every so often from the moisture permeating on the tips.
"I don't think we caught your names, by the way! We all were getting caught up in making sure Tori there was alright, after all."

The farther they advanced into the cave, the more worried the natural child felt.
"Hm, perhaps I'll take you up on that offer. I'm well fed anyways, it's not like I'm gonna wither once I step into the cave... Synthesia explained his circumstances as the trio walked farther in. He wasn't just going to leave them now that he had came all this way and met all these new people. He'd see them through until they left the forest, at least- then it was back to collecting flora for him.
Upon second thought, though, Synthesia considered joining them. It wasn't all that farfetched. The bio-android sniggered to himself before walking deeper into the cave, brushing past the tired boy to join the other group. As if to show off, four long tendrils sprouted from Synthesia's back. They spindled outwards, latching on to the stalactites and stalagmites. He advanced, his arm crossed and a smug smile on his face, as a natural spider, weaving his way through the cave while his feet hovered off the ground.
Once he was comfortable in his new, higher position, he looked down at the bunch walking ahead of him. "Yes, names, fantastic. Synthesia's the name. You can call me Syn if you want though, either one's fine with me." Synthesia casually rambled off his usual statement when talking to new people.
"...Just so you know, even if I am a natural being, I don't know everything about this planet. Like this cave! You're really going in blind here so just don't blame me if you get hurt." Synthesia warned the bunch with an almost bored tone of voice. He doubted they'd be done in by the elements- they were a fairly strong bunch after all.
"Well, I'm a little out of practice, but if you guys are training, I'll join in. Partly because I don't want you bringing any harm to the cave, and partly because I'm a little out of practice." Synthesia, still suspended by his tendrils, pulled back the short white sleeve of his shirt to reveal his arm. He held it up and flexed with a wry smile, as the flex produced no noticeable results.
"I might be pretty small, but I'm pretty strong too! I reckon I could probably beat some of 'ya."

It seems that the group intention is really checking up on him, Katz is somewhat moved when he think about it. While they are conversing with each other, Katz had learned most of their names, excluding the flying lady in shirt.
"Nice to meet you, and it will be my pleasure to train with you, maybe I can learn a thing or two while training with you Mister Date!" Katz happily answered the offer for training from the man who introduced himself as Date.
While Katz was busy conversing with Date, Mal seems to want to explore the cave and moved deeper into the cave first, then the flying lady in white shirt followed suit. Katz looked at Date to see if he also wanted to explore deeper into the cave. And sure enough, Date wanted to explore the cave. "Sure, I wonder what is at the end of this cave?" Katz excitedly answered Date's invitation. Date then proceeds to also invite the plant boy, which also seems to want to explore the cave as well.
The plant boy introduced himself as Synthesia and soon the plant boy followed them deeper towards the cave.
As they walked Katz had been listening to the conversation around him.
It seems that the plant boy did not take the idea of exploring the unknown very well, "Well, exploring the unknown is a part of being adventurer after all! And I think we will be fine, we got a lot of people here after all, at least if there's something inside this cave we can fend it off together!" Katz smiled at Syn when he said that.

Whether with or without a group, Mal would still go into that cave. Sometimes larger groups disturbed more of nature’s bounty, sometimes not. Even still, Mal stepped carefully, making sure she didn’t trip over some dumb rock. When the other girl came up to her and asked about Koban, Mal smiled. “Nah, nothing like that…” she said softly. “You his girlfriend?” she asked, since this chick seemed really keen about how Koban didn't mention meeting Mal, or whatever. Naturally, her mind figured that to be the case. Her tone wasn't unfriendly, just curious, still polite. Not trying to pry, just sorting information.
“He sort of crashed after some fight, right into my little hiding spot in the woods. Nice clearing, I go there to think…” she turned, overhearing the talks behind them. Katz, Date and Synthesia. Mal refused to call him ‘Sin’ on the principle of the matter, too edgy for her tastes, so Synthesia it would be.
“I’m Mal,” she finally said. With an entourage and everyone else spilling out their names, it felt rude to do otherwise. And Mal agreed with the kid, Katz. Adventuring and exploring came hand in hand and, hey, she never forced anyone to come in with her. If anyone felt uncomfortable here, they knew where the exit was. “So, how do you know Koban? Are you part of the Troopers, too?” Synthesia did some fancy spider walk thing and Mal looked up, shrugged, and went back to carefully picking her way through safe passages.
“If you so much as knock a rock off anywhere near my head from up there, you go back.” For someone one with nature or whatever, he posed the biggest threat at the moment. Mal saw weird people and things every day, Synthesia just being one of those and not even the highest ranked, Mal didn't feel all that unsettled by what Synthesia was - more like what he was doing.

”Haha! Eww, no.” Bella blurted out in response to the question. Without a hint of embarrassment on her face or a slight flush in her cheeks, she rejected the question. Maybe at one time, when she first heard of it a crush had spurred her on. These days though, he was more like a brother to her than anything. A friend she could always count on, the blue superhero was nearly family. Like an older brother, she looked up to him greatly, his actions, persona and skill something she hoped to rival one day.
Crashed after a fight, hmm. Nothing sprung to mind, but it was perfectly viable. Unlike her, Koban usually took a more forward approach to thugs and villains which often ended up with fists thrown. She tried to use words more often than he did, but they only accomplished so much.
In a burst of footsteps and the strange sound of Synthesia’s roots grasping stone, the rest of the lot caught up. Hearing additional names thrown out, the redhead realized she forgot to give her own. Politely waiting her turn to speak, not a fan of interrupting others, she introduced herself.
”Belladonna here, but trust, Bella is just fine. As for your question, yes, I am part of the Pride Troopers. Koban, the others and myself work together to see justice done.” She said rather proudly mainly because it was a cause she deeply believed in. There was far too much hatred in this world.
With a glance up towards Synthesia, she smiled gently.
”Nah, I don’t think any of us want to fight in here. A friendly brawl would quickly turn into survival training I am afraid. Exploring is definitely enough adventure for me.” She noted with a point to several of the larger stalactites that Synthesia used as a grappling point. Any number of the rock formations could mean death for whomever it fell upon.
”Plenty of fun to be had as well!” She exclaimed with a light hop ahead of the group. Boots slapped to a slope and forward she slid, grin on her face as he small pebbles that where strewn across the slanted surface let her glide forward. Several yards away she jumped free of the incline and back to flat ground, eyes squinting as she strained to see what lay ahead of them. It didn’t occur to her that summoning a ball of Ki would allow her to see deeper.

"That I will do," Date replied, Synthesia introducing himself before climbing up like a spider with the usage of vines, "It'll avoid me calling you Cynthia... Although that'd be a funny name to call you by..!"
Date laughed a bit, the kid catching up and, like one obsessed about old cartoon adventure shows, talked about venturing through the cave. He looked about sixteen, but he sounded more like an 8 year old! Meanwhile, the red head with the horns was asked if Koban was dating her, the comment making her flush despite her saying no. Seemed like it was something she thought about before. Eventually, the girl named Mal realized what Syn was doing and threatened him in what Date felt was the least threatening way you could do that! Syn then spoke about how he could probably beat most of the people there in a fight, if it ever came up to it, which got Date to say, a confident smirk on his face, "We'll have to try that out at some point, when we're not in such a fragile looking cave system, Syn..!"
The redhead, aptly named Belladonna, spoke up after that, suggesting that they would be able to find other things in this cave that'd be more interesting than getting into a brawl! She happily skipped ahead ahead of them, not so much as summoning a ki orb to help with her sight like how Date did. Date heard her steps slow down as she got into the darkness, her form barely visible to the party. Date moved ahead, the light of his ki ball offering them more sight of the path ahead in the color of amber.
Date stopped, seeing that there was a path that led a few different ways. The half naked man spoke aloud to the others, telling them, "Looks like we've got a couple of paths to take. One going up a bit and the other going down... Fairly steeply. It looks a bit dangerous, but there might be something down there if you guys are interested in it! The other looks like it might go further up the inside of the mountain."
The Mercenary looked back to Mal and asked her, "Hey Mal? I don't suppose that Scouter's got x-ray sight or heat vision to look better up the paths, does it? Would be nice to be able to scout the path ahead without trudging down into a hole or something unpleasant."

Synthesia felt insulted by the criticism of his actions.
He blushed furiously as the people accompanying his journey though unknown territory warned him of the dangers of doing whatever he was doing. He felt like they were treating him like a kid. Granted, he was a kid, but that thought wasn't exactly at the forefront of his mind. He didn't bother responding to Mal's threat-but-not, instead taking it as an insult to his ability! He was pretty amazing, right?
Right?
He crossed his arms in indignation, grumbling under his breath just a touch too softly for his companions to catch on to. He did, however, lower his feet to touch the ground- however, the two roots still reached up to wrap around the stalagmites that loomed high above his head as the fingers of the cavern. He wasn't going to let them win completely, but he did see the potential dangers that it might pose. Not that he'd ever have a problem with that, as he was absolutely certain that it wouldn't happen, probably. Even if he wasn't happy about it, Mal had prevented some danger.
He continued to meander after the group, not speaking up much as they traversed the labyrinth of tunnels. The underbelly of the place he loved was somewhere he seldom visited and should've made a habit of coming to more often. As he walked along, occasionally his tendrils would snake over to grab a particularly interesting rock for Synthesia to inspect before he promptly discarded it. Rocks were cool, but he really just needed flowers.
He thought of said topic, and if said topic could relate to caves at all, when they reached the fork in the tunnel. Synthesia stayed quiet as he looked over both of the tunnels. He thought for just a moment before making his choice. Synthesia walked to the edge of the steep hole, his mouth pressed into an 'o' as he witnessed the abyss below him. He thought for a moment again, and briefly reconsidered before shaking his head.
"You could always scale the mountain from the outside, yeah? I think that if we travel up it'll go less of a ways than if we go down. I think that, being real adventure-seekers, we should go down!" Synthesia spoke his words matter-of-factly, before spinning on his heels to face the group. His hands found his way linked together behind his back as he leaned forwards slightly, shooting his companions a grin.
"Now we just gotta find a way down..." Synthesia straightened his posture and spun back towards the hole, inspecting the opening, the floor and the lumps of rock that permeated the area. He considered his options for a moment, before hitting an epiphany! This way, he could both show the scarfaced woman that he was competent, and find a great way down the lower mouth of the cave!
Synthesia started executing his idea immediately, by picking out a suitably-sized rock. He placed both of his hands on it and rocked, making sure that it wasn't going to become loose while he was using it. The next step involved his extra appendages. He wrapped the both of them around the rock, weaving and winding them together tightly to form some kind of loop-knot around the large piece of stone. Once he was completed, he stood up, wiped off his hands and knees, and admired his handiwork with his hands on his hips.
He then took a seat on the edge of the mouth of the cave, staring into the steep abyss. He turned his head back to the group and shot them a grin. "We can use this like a rope, see?" He pulled on the root, and it seemed to not move. "I'll repel down there first. If any of you who want to come with can't find a way down yourselves, use this after me, yeah? I'll give the roots... say, five solid tugs when I get to the bottom. That's when it'll be safe!
With that, Synthesia began to repel deeper into the cave.

The way of travelling that the plant boy called Syn choose certainly amuses Katz, it seems that the root like appendages is really really versatile, it can grab anything around it and function as normal arm and legs. Katz pondered about what other things that a person can do using that appendages, but his thought is cut short when Mal is warning the plant boy that is dangling from one place to another to not to knock a rock towards her head and the girl with white shirt that introduces herself as Bella also is worried about the way Syn travel. Seeing as the plant boy seems to not take it that well, "Well, I am sure that we'll be fine Miss Mal, and Miss Bella was it? I believe that Syn is not as careless as that. If he was a careless person, we would've noticed him when he came earlier, yet he make no sounds when he appear. That means he's proficient at using that root like appendages." Katz tried to calm things down as he don't want the mood of this exploration group to turn sour. It seems that the provocation from the plant boy earlier had tensed up the atmoshpere a bit, even Mister Date said that he'd love to fight them someday when they are out of this cave.
After they had walked for a while, they had stumbled upon an intersection, where different path lying in front of them. Date had stopped to consider their options before turning towards Mal and asked if Mal's scouter can scout ahead the path to prevent some unfavorable things from happening. But it seems that Syn had a different idea, Syn really seems to be offended by the matter earlier and now is trying to prove something to the group. Without delay, he used his root like appendages to create a simple rope setting for going down the hole. And after giving the group a grin, the plant boy goes down the hole.
"Is it alright to let him go down alone?" Katz turned towards the rest of the group while asking them that. Katz had to admit that the fact that there's a hole there means that the mountain had it's own hidden section, who knows that there's a treasure or something even more amazing down there.
Sorry for late reply, been busy.

When Bella agreed with her and Synthesia didn’t kick too much at the danger of falling rock, Mal felt satisfied they did, indeed, have a good adventuring party afoot. She did smile at Bella’s prompt and flushed denial of anything going on with Koban, a potential source of teasing if they were closer, but Mal pushed ahead, wanting to see what this cave offered. “It sounds like you guys are really close,” it was nice to have people close to you. “I bet you get into all sorts of adventure and trouble with the Troopers…”
As they hit a split to their paths, Mal said, “No, no x-ray vision, sadly…” and aimed her light in both directions. She had no desire to go up, she went all the way to the top before and she felt no need to go back the way she came, even indirectly. Oddly enough, she found herself agreeing with the plant guy...er...Synthesia. “I agree, down feels a lot more interesting.” As Synthesia began going down, using his vines, Mal definitely felt impressed. Vaguely she wondered how far he could stretch them.
“If any of you can fly, I guess now’s the time.” But, impatient as ever, Mal winked in Katz’ direction before just jumping over the edge. The trick to falling… she thought, one leg jutting out to kick off against an outcropping of rock. The trick to falling was to collide with as many objects as possible along the way, if you couldn’t, you know, fly or anything like that. Her shoulder hit another rock, that was going to leave a mark, but definitely worth it as she fell, and fell, and fell. Air whipped her hair back, tearing it from her ponytail, and Mal grinned. Another bunch of rocks stood out along the way and she slammed her other shoulder into it.
Finally, at long last, her eyes widened as she finally saw the ‘floor.’ Splash! She sunk into the cold water and kicked out, eyes opening in the fresh river water, light from her scouter showing her which way was up. Pushing hard against a wall, Mal swam up. “It’s okay!” Her voice echoed, and echoed, and echoed. “Water’s deep.” Looking in every direction, there was a small area to climb out and an underwater tunnel leading further in. She definitely intended on exploring that tunnel. Now she was down, well, getting up or getting out of here was better in a direction separate from the one she came from.

Bella and Koban were close, the Pride Troopers her second family. That barely noticeable blush aside, the relationship stopped there. A family girl through and through, there wasn’t anything more important to her than those she held close. Perhaps she was so fond of Koban because he resembled that older brother or even the father figure she lacked. Whatever it was, she was willing to give her life for it. Thankfully, this cave exploration was not as serious as anything that might be yet to come so for the moment, she was allowed to enjoy herself.
As Date lit up the split in the paths, Bella immediately knew which way she wanted to go. Logic implied that up would narrow and narrow until either it reached a dead end or came out higher up the mountain. Down however, delved deeper into the formations wide base and promised a variety of potential paths…and secrets. Apparently the others held the same view.
With slight amusement she watched Synthesia extend her roots to build a rope for them. A thoughtful action, but a tool she ultimately didn’t need. Hands to her hips as she watched the boy descend his organic rope, Bella turned to Kats.
”I think he would be fine on his own. I don’t know about you though, but I am following.” She declared with a smile. As if on que, although a startling que, Mel went and took the initiative. A leap sent her into the pit and she dropped out of sight. The light of her scouter helped to track her rushed descent, but even so Bella let out a small yelp of surprise as the girl plummeted. What in the world was she thinking? Easily startled, the red head didn’t rush to her aide. If she was willing to jump she was likely prepared for a long fall. Heart slowed back to its normal pace, she took to the air as she glanced to Date.
”I guess she isn’t a fan of scouting, eh?” And with a small chuckle she dipped into the hole, in total control of herself as she began to lower. Alongside Synthesia she paused and offered him a hand as Mal’s voice echoed up to them after a distant splash. ”Sound like a long way down. I can carry you if yah want.” She offered with that arm extended. If he refused that was just fine, but if he accepted she would tuck him in close against her side and continue down the shaft.
When she finally would break free of the tunnel into the small opening, she spotted a wet Mal near one of the only dry spots in this section. Over to the bank she would go and set down with or without Synthesia. If the boy chose to travel with her that is where her arm would release him as she looked to the gutsy cave diver.
”Give a girl some warning next time?” Bella requested in a friendly tone. Although a little reckless, she did respect the woman’s bravery. The leap was something Koban himself might pull off in a similar situation. Maybe this girl would fit in well with the Pride Troopers. Although, Bella still needed to convince their Captain to recruit a little more openly. Perhaps they should set up some sort of entrance exam… Drawn back to the world around her by the sound of rushing water, she dropped into a couch and squinted through the partially lit stream.
”Where do you think it leads? Maybe some sort of larger cavern?” She asked out loud in reference to the underwater exit.

The others were slowly catching up, Tori stating that Syn wasn't so careless, with his viny limbs. Mal, who caught up to Belladonna and Date first, stating her scouter couldn't do that sort of thing. Syn suggested they go down for the prospect of adventure, and Mal couldn't agree more. Mal stated something before leaping down right after Syn started descending, using his viney limbs!! Date rushed over, blinking in surprise rather than fear!
"Huh... She's a real unexpecting treat, ain't she?"
There was a splash down below... Real far down below! Syn was already half-way down from the sounds of it. Meanwhile, Tori asked if it was alright to let them go down alone. Date waved the concern off with his hand, stating, "Ah, he'll be fine, Tori. Besides, if crap shows up that requires a fast way out, I'll vaporize a hole out of here! Nothing too worrisome."
Belladonna agreed with that, before speaking about how Mal wasn't a fan of scouting. Yet, to Date, she was doing just that in a riskier manner. Was it because she had a scouting devic- It had been and Date couldn't slap his face harder!
"Did you really," he called after Belladonna, who was getting pretty far down via fall, before muttering to himself with a smile, "She did... Son of a gun!"
He could appreciate a subtle joke like that! Date looked to Tori, telling him, "I'm gonna jump down. If you can't use your energy to fly, I would suggest using Syn's vine to get down. If something happens, to just call out and I'll come get ya!"
With that, Date saluted Tori with his index and middle fingers extended before leaping down. As he got closer down, he could hear the rushing water, the light of ki ball still in hand as he got the exit of the tunnel! He waved it around, looking for the two women and Syn. Even with the light to help him see, it was difficult to discern everything with sight!
