Syn got the idea quick, turning to fight the enemy with that unusual, plant-like anatomy of his! He grabbed several and slammed in the walls of the mountain cave they were in and dunked them into the river. Date nodded to this, rushing out of the water mid air and shooting ki blasts at the bats as he shot backwards. Mal had been holding up one of those glowing rocks at them, the bats seeming to be afraid of the light it exhumed!
"Seems like we just need to light this place up then..!"
Date paused, a larger volley coming from the Mercenary as they made their way down the river. His shots weren't accurate, hitting parts of the cave as he pelted them. At this point, the bats had been retreating from them! Date put his left hand on his right elbow and flipped the middle finger at the bats while calling out, "Don't ever mess with us, ya damn flying rodents!"
The Mercenary dove back into the water next to the three, a smile given to them as they went down the rapid current. travelling in the darkened environment wasn't too difficult, although Date smashed through some rocks getting in his path. A glint of brightness was ahead of them, which quickly became the bright light of the sun! It was jarring for a moment, but Date didn't mind. He rushed out the water, his arms outstretched as he cheered with a howl that echoed in the spacious environment between the mountain and the forest!
"Hell yeah, was that fun!"
