Morticia would grumble under her breath, dropping her forehead to her home's kitchen bench in frustration. Another day another night she went home empty handed on fueling the gem she needed to fuel to get her family back, and all thanks to that blasted Pride Trooper, Makaimorph.. Each time she had tried to succeed in even filling it even if but a little bit, he'd always show up on time and ruin her chances, spoiling her plans and efforts. She knew he was just doing his job and doing well at it at that, but Makaimorph wasn't going to save her family and neither was she if she kept going about it like this. The young lady balled her hands into fists and trembled where she sat trying her best to force back tears. She just wanted to get her family back but nothing was getting her any step closer to such, she didn't want to have to push more moral boundaries then she already was but, she needed to get them back somehow.
Brushing herself off and wiping her face, she stood back up and made the decision that she just had to keep trying, harder. Transforming once again back into Greiveila she decided to clear her feelings by simply trying again, maybe the Makaimorph wouldn't expect for her to come back a second time on the same night, with a bit of luck maybe he'd be tired or busy with something else to stop her yet again.
Once she began prowling the streets again however she noticed an ad she'd never quite seen before in the form of a flyer, she carefully picked it up, being mindful of her powers to avoid burning it up in her hands as she began to read it over. To her surprise it was something about a League of Villains, maybe she was in for a bit of luck on this second try tonight. There was no direct location stated for this, which was understandable, but there was a contact number and a pick up point spot by the looks of it. Clutching the flyer and narrowing her eyes she came to the conclusion that this was a step in the right direction and it was a step she was going to take.
Following the pick up point location, Greiveila found herself standing outside what appeared to be some sort of casino surprisingly. She had never truthfully been this side of Central City before from what she could remember and had never really stepped foot into a casino before either but there was a first time for everything. Double checking the flyer again to make sure this was indeed the place it said, she would then push on inside the establishment, keeping her hood down a fair bit. Now kind of wishing she hadn't come in costume, hoping she didn't stick out like a sore thumb compared to people actually there for the casino activities, but she needed to stay masked when it came to villainy things. Hopefully whoever had set out the flyer would notice she had one and was here soon enough so she didn't have to stay out in the open like this for too long.
