Boom

The Kitsune known as Boom was born roughly three years ago on the planet of Earth. His mother, a similarly orange fox with nine-tails, cared for the younging up until he was a year old. At which she left Boom to fend for himself, departing their forest home for parts unknown. Boom hadn't been prepared for this moment and had a fair amount of difficulty during his first few weeks ago. If it had not been for the emergence of his magical prowess it's likely that Boom wouldn't have survived. He did slowly adjust to his newfound need to fend for himself, however. Learning to stay away from larger and more resilient creatures. While making the smaller and weaker animals his prey.

He did this for two lonely and isolated years never bothering to venture out from the forest. Boom was waiting for his mother to return you see. Holding out hope that she hadn't abandoned him. That all changed of course when he encountered Bang. Boom hadn't meant to grow attached to him so quickly. But the boy had been nice to him and he'd been lonely for years. So when Bang went to leave Boom wanted to leave with him. No longer wishing to be alone. Plus, he got the feeling that the boy was just as lonely as he was.

[A1] Fox Fire
Boom's species has strong ties with magic. By tapping into the wealth of magical energy within himself. Boom can shoot powerful spheres of flame from his mouth. Those hit by them are dealt 33% of his PL in damage.

[UA2] Fox Flamethrower
An improvement of the Fox Fire technique. The technique makes use of more energy than the previous stage. Rather than launching spheres of fire from his mouth. Boom releases a large steady stream of fire outward. Anyone caught in the torrent of fire is dealt 66% of his PL in damage.

[SU1] Blink
An application of Boom's magic that allows him to dodge attacks. Boom will fill his body with magical energy that lays dormant. It will activate when a technique that is within 100% of his PL is made against him. This causes him to teleport or 'blink' a short distance away from the potential danger.

[SU2] Blink
An application of Boom's magic that allows him to dodge attacks. Boom will fill his body with magical energy that lays dormant. It will activate when a technique that is within 150% of his PL is made against him. This causes him to teleport or 'blink' a short distance away from the potential danger.


[UT1] Presence Concealment
A technique that Boom is subconsciously capable of making use of. Those trying to sense Boom's PL will discover that it is remarkably low. That is until he makes use of one of his various magical techniques. At which point his actual power is no longer hidden from others. At least until Boom manages to conceal it once more.

[UT] Intuition
Boom's sense are naturally attuned to the world around him. This allows him to sense the energy of any living being. Assuming that they aren't making an effort to suppress their power output. He can also gauge the level of strength behind enemy techniques thanks to this ability. Although, as mentioned previously he can only sense those with life energy. Meaning that Androids don't register to his heightened senses.



Kitsune's Awakening [x4 Permanent]
The Kitsune race are known to have access to a strong and potent transformation. One that, even at a young age, can prove dangerous for those facing it. Boom is no expectation to this statement. When needed or during moments of intense emotional duress he can call up this hidden power. A massive surge of magical energy is sent coursing through Boom's body. Increasing not only his current output of power but also causing his body to mature and grow. Reaching an impressive height and build as he assumes what could be considered his true form. A large nine-tailed fox.
