Following their arrival on the Vegeta and the young woman’s errands, she went ahead and got ready to set out on an adventure of sorts. Well, she hadn’t actually been sure where she was going or who exactly. Sure, Yacha had somewhat of an idea of where and what this person looked like, but that surely wasn’t enough to find them. Vegeta wasn’t exactly small, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to try her best to locate her target! It wasn’t like she had much else to do at the moment, anyhow. Not to mention, Methus and Inna had trusted her to find this other Saiyan, so it’d probably be a good idea not to let them down, right? And so, after making sure she had some stuff to head on out, the young woman made her way out of the ship and proceeded to set out towards the wastes, seeing as though that was where she had been told they had training.
This mysterious Saiyan that she had hardly known much about would hopefully show themselves soon enough, but even if it took a couple of days, Yacha was determined to find them. Not only would it be nice having more people aboard their ship, but the fact that their next recruit was supposedly a Saiyan was definitely a plus. It’d be like having an older sister! Kind of. Hopefully they were at least a little bit stronger than the average Saiyan. After all, if they were going to be trying to unify the galaxy, a surplus of tough individuals was likely going to be necessary to accomplish their mission. Plenty of time thinking about this older Saiyan woman was done as she wandered through the wastes of Vegeta by foot, humming and searching around as she ventured about the open area.
“I always hated this place just a little. Those ugly Saibamen could be lurking behind any of these rocks, waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack. And, uh.. eat people?- No wait.. I don’t think they eat people.” Yacha scratches her head some, just kind of talking to herself on the way. It was one of her various ways to pass the time, especially since there wasn’t much out here except rocks and the occasional dead tree. And then, something pops into the young Saiyan’s mind! “Maybe.. if I just wait in one spot for her, she’ll just come to me!”
While definitely not the greatest way to search for this mysterious Saiyan, it wouldn’t hurt to try, right? Besides, it was starting to get a little dark so maybe she should take a quick break to eat and whatnot. Through various means, Yacha puts a campfire together and kills some animal, roasting it’s meat over the flames of her campfire. A soft yawn leaves the Saiyan, simply waiting and hoping that her target would just so happen to wander upon her resting site. Of course, she still did her best to sense around the area to make sure nobody decided to sneak up on her or anything.

Dark, ebony eyes peered over the flattened top of one of the iron-red spires of stone. The wasteland stretched, seemingly endless and identical throughout, all around Celirii. She hugged the side of the spire opposite to the woman in the distance, a young Saiyan like herself. The furry, brown tail and the way she knew exactly which animals in the area were good to kill, and where to find firewood, revealed her familiarity with the planet.
It smelled good, too, even from her. Celirii sniffed at the air and felt her mouth water when she caught a whiff of the roasting meat in the distance. She watched the young woman the entire time since she appeared in the wasteland. People never visited these parts for no reason, Celirii knew all too well. They only came to this place to train, to fight, to hide from the law, or even worse reasons. She heard rumors of the trafficking and other illegal enterprises that happened hear.
Saiyans rarely got deterred by things as flimsy as laws, unless the law was present in the form of a particularly muscular man with a heavy blaster. Celirii understood that deeply and intimately.
Like an insect, she crawled back down the rocks as quietly as could be. Her tank top dragged along the stone and snagged in a few places. It threatened to expose her chest more than a few times as she got back down to the unlevel ground, which forced her to tug it roughly back into place. She stuffed her jacket, laying on the dirt, into her bag and tightened the strings again. As quiet as could be, she bit down at the strings that doubled as a handle and crouched down low.
Like some of the oversized insects she had the unfortunate pleasure of “meeting” in this awful place, she crawled along the ground and over the rocks. She had spent weeks here now, long enough to get around as if she lived here her whole life. She knew where to put her hands when she climbs, where the stone would be strong enough to support her weight if she put her foot there, and how to be quiet. She moved across the rocky terrain with speed befit a desert beetle as it sped along like a greased jackrabbit struck by lightning.
Until, suddenly, she hid behind a boulder. She set her brown, leather bag down and quickly ruffled her hair. She peered over the top of the boulder the same way she did the spire just a minute earlier and finally got a better look at the woman:
Oh my gooood~ she cooed, but kept it to herself. She even covered her hand with a small hand as he got a good look at the young girl: definitely Saiyan. Raven-black hair and a stare that seemed icy cold at first glance, but seemed to have more personality behind it than usual. What really struck Celirii into her wide-eyed, mental squealing, was that she was cute. Weeks alone in this place might have made even the most busted-face man decently attractive to her if he had a good body, but to see a genuinely hot Saiyan girl here?
It almost made her panic.
She ducked back behind the rock and silently slapped her face with both hands.
Okay, okay, Iri!! You have to do this! Just talk to her! She hyped herself up and even pumped her arms, her hands tightened into fists. She nodded at the thin air in front of herself, vigorously, and then ran her hands through her dark, messy hair repeatedly. It felt longer than her visitor’s hair, so she wanted it to look as natural and not-greasy as possible.
Just, you know, act natural! She looks like she might be younger than you, too, you know, so it’s like… her mind started to run right off its own rails. …Like, treat her like the little sister you don’t have! Yeah! I mean, uh, at first! I mean, she is cute, sooo…
Silently, she slapped her face with both hands again, and shook it back and forth.
Focus! She yelled at herself again. Just stand up and introduce yourself! She might be strong, too, and maybe she’ll fight with you so you can see how powerful you’ve gotten and, and—waaaaaaa~
Suddenly, Celirii cleared her throat and bolted to her full height. She appeared over the top of the rock and, stiff as a board, waved at the raven-haired visitor.
“Hey, you, uhm…” she cleared her throat again.
“Got room for one more over there?”

For what seemed like an eternity to her, the young Saiyan just stared at the meat that we being cooked over her little campfire. While this definitely wasn't going to be nearly enough to fill her up, Yacha just hoped this could get her through her travels until she managed to find her target. At some point, drool even managed to trickle down the corner of her mouth, that's how hungry she was! If only she had brought some random assortment of snacks to drag along on this trip.. Oh well, too late now. A soft sigh leaves the young woman. Had she been given some better information as to the whereabouts of this unfamiliar Saiyan, perhaps things would've went a tad bit smoother. Heck, she probably might've even found them by now!
At some point or another, it even seemed as though her hunger had gotten the best of her, the Saiyan not even bothering to keep her senses about her. It's not like there really was a whole lot of things out here, anyhow. Unless it was some sort of wild animal that couldn't even comprehend what people said, it was pretty unlikely that anybody would even try to attack her out here. What kind of loser just goes around trying to fight random people out in the wastes for no reason? Not Yacha, that's for sure- That is, unless they seemed to be a fair bit stronger than her and she felt like she was up for the challenge. Or.. if the full moon came out and she couldn't control herself. In that case, it wasn't really up to her who she ended up attacking on accident.
Unbeknownst to her, the Saiyan she was looking for just so happened to be a lot closer than she had originally thought, doing.. something of some sort behind a nearby boulder. Though, it didn't take too long for them to finally make themselves known. Being snapped out of her hunger induced trance, Yacha blinks a total of four times following the newcomer's words. Thankfully, it indeed seemed like she wouldn't need to worry about anybody attacking her. Prying her eyes from the roasting meat for a moment, the young woman's eyes shift towards the one who seemed to be calling out to her from behind the rock. A couple of seconds were spent squinting and examining them. They seemed to be around her own age, with some features pretty similar to her own. Were they a Saiyan? Was this the person she had been sent out to find? Perhaps, seeing as though she had pretty quickly been able to match their description with what had been told, but she wouldn't make any assumptions until everything had checked out. They were pretty good looking- but that wasn't exactly something that she was going to be focusing a whole lot on right now, seeing as the mission came first. A light hum leaves Yacha. Arms were crossed over her chest, some more examining being done.
"Yeesh.. just how long were ya' spyin' on me? Your lucky I was too busy focusin' on my meal to notice ya'." A nod accompanied by a hmph leaves Yacha, pondering on the question that was asked. Well, if this was the person she was sent out to find, it'd probably be a good idea to get them over here, right? Not really seeing much of a reason to sit at the moment, the young woman stood there, dressed in a sleeveless jumpsuit made of some dark material. It covered her lithe frame nicely, only really showing off her arms and just a tad bit of her upper chest. Along with that she had on a light grey pair of boots. And of course, her brown, fur covered tail just kind of flew around freely behind her. But other than that? Yacha really hadn't had brought a whole lot with her.
"I suppose I can make room if ya' want. As long as ya' don't plan on tryin' to eat any of my food, that is." A quick glance back to her still roasting food was done after she spoke. It was just about done at this point, the scent of the slab of roasting meat filling the surrounding area. She clears her throat some, eyes shifting back towards Celerii before she started drooling again. "Ain't like I own the place or nothin', anyhow. What's your name, dude? And, uh.. what're ya' doin' out here in the first place? This ain't exactly, like.. the best place on the planet to be, unless somethin' has changed since I left."

So smooth, Iri! The wild-haired Saiyan girl chided herself immediately when she heard her own words. Why, I’m bettin’ she’s just madly curious about you now! You’ll be the only thing she can think about for days, obviously. You and your dumb words…
As deep as her disappointment with her own words ran, they seemed to keep the woman’s attention. In fact, she even invited her to come on over, which Celirii accepted. She took a few steps closer but, when the woman mentioned that the food was not to be shared, she felt a pang of regret stab through her heart. Her eyes darted to the roasted animal over the fire and, immediately, she felt her stomach threatened to gurgle and growl and expose her intentions to everyone. Through sheer will, and imagining herself kicking her comically anthropomorphized stomach repeated, she kept it under control.
“Oh, uhm, no I would never think about just taking a pretty young lady’s food…” Celirii expertly denied the suggestion after she got a few times closer. She dug her heel nervously against the dirt beneath them both and felt her eyes dart away from the unyielding, ebony stare of the young woman.
It was her company’s own words that saved her from the painful embarrassment and the red that started to burn against her cheeks.
“Wasn’t spyin’ at all!” Celirii promised, eager to change the subject. She gave her new friend a smile. “I’ve been out here for weeks, training, tryin’ to get stronger, you know? It’s done a lot for my balance, but this particular region isn’t as dangerous as I’d like…like…the breeding pits, maybe?”
Celirii tilted her head from side to side as she spoke and considered where to go next. The survival aspects of her extended trip were helpful, of course, and navigating the rough terrain while refusing to fly anymore than necessary did a lot for her general athleticism. But her actual, regular power? She really didn’t feel any stronger at all, as much as she hated to admit it.
And she hated it. Unlike what she thought, the particular few square miles she lived in the past few weeks had almost nothing of dangerous strength for her that she ran into, at least so far. It had, easily, been her biggest irritant. If she wanted to get stronger, and boy did she, she needed to fight something eventually.
Suddenly, Celirii wiped her hands repeatedly against the back of her extra-short shorts. She felt some of the dirt and dust fall off while the rest wiped against the cargo material, and she took a few steps forward and offered one of her soft hands to her new friend.
“My name’s Celirii, but everyone just calls me Iri,” she said, her tone more and more upbeat with each passing second. “But, ‘cha know, why are you out here? You don’t seem like you’re trainin’ like I am. I wouldn’t want to see you get hurt or anything, if you’re lost. I can point you in the direction of the nearest city.”

Thankfully, it didn't seem like they were out to steal her food or anything of that sort. She had worked for that food, so it was only fair that she was the one who ate. If anybody else wanted to eat with her, they could go through the hassle of finding their own source of food. Maybe she'd share just a little bit with the newcomer, but only after she herself had gotten her fill of the meat. Speaking of which, a quick glance showed that it had to be done by now. It was lifted up by the stick that had been stabbed with, shifting it away from the fire. Tempted to take a bite, Yacha figured it might be a good idea to let it go ahead and cool down for just a couple of seconds. She might've been hungry, but that wasn't going to make her dumber than she already was.
"Pretty?" Yacha lets out a half suppressed chuckle at that bit, not really wanting to comment too much on it. That was definitely one thing the Saiyan woman had never been called- Not that she really cared too much. Her looks wouldn't really help her get stronger or anything like that, anyways. More examining was been done of the odd, unfamiliar Saiyan, some unintentional staring coming as a result. As their little conversation went on, it seemed as though things just continued to fall into place. Even the things they were wearing matched up with what she had been told! The shorts were a little odd to see, especially since Celirii was out here training. Was a garment like that comfortable to train in? Or was it simply all that the new Saiyan had to wear? A question for another time, perhaps. Opting to get back to speaking herself, the young Saiyan woman clears her throat a tad.
"Trainin' out here alone? That ain't sound very safe- Though.. I guess your actually lookin' for danger. Hnn.." A hand came up from it's crossed position, moving up to scratch one of Yacha's cheeks. "What're ya' even tryin' to get stronger for? Could probably handle gettin' stronger back in the capital, y'know. Ain't no need to try riskin' your life for it." A slight nod finishes her sentence, hand starting to extend outwards to meet Celirii's own giving it a light shake or two.
"Well, uh, Iri.. I'm out here for a single reason alone. Trust me, I'd rather be back on the ship than be sittin' out here like this." Yacha states. While it was nice being home, having to sit out in the wastes with nothing really around wasn't exactly ideal. But if it was what the mission called for, then so be it. After all, the sooner this was taken care of, the sooner they could get going to their next destination, wherever that may be. "Ya' ain't gotta worry about me gettin' hurt or nothin', dude. I'm pretty familiar with this place. Just, uh.. lookin' for somebody, is all. And, if my sources gave me the right information, I think I might'a just found 'em. Only took me, like.. an entire day. Why couldn't ya' show up a little earlier to save me the trouble of havin' to travel all the way out here?" Her voice was starting to grow a little louder, almost on the verge of yelling. However, for now, the Saiyan does her best to remain from getting too angry. After all, it's not like anything was really Celirii's fault.
A quick bit was taken from the slab of meat, chewing away afterwards. It was rather bland, but oh well. It did it's job of soothing her hunger issue. After chewing it down so she could speak, Yacha stretches the stick out a bit so the meat was closer towards her new Saiyan friend. "Here. Ya' can have a bite- Just one, though! Anymore and I might have to beat ya' up. Ya' wouldn't want that, would you?"

Safe never really occurred to Celirii. She came out here to push herself, put herself in danger, do something new. All of the sparring and training back home had done nothing for her, so it only made sense to change things, to force herself off this plateau she lived on, given her new, survival-motivated determination to get stronger as a fighter. Finding a hot guy to settle down with and live a quiet life went out the window when an army of pointy-headed shape-shifters invaded the planet and took countless lives in the process.
More and more, Celirii wondered if maybe the Saiyans should have softened a little less than they have over the past couple hundred years.
“Welllll, you’re right, it’s not very safe,” Celirii grinned at the women as she shook her hand, but, curiously, did not share her name in return. “So I don’t really blame you for not wanting to be here yourself! But that danger is exactly why I’m here! Strong, wild animals, random landslides, it’s exactly what I need! All of the martial arts training in the world wasn’t getting me anywhere.”
That didn’t answer the lingering question that her huntress friend left lingering: who was the person she was looking for? Celirii wanted to ask, but got distracted a moment later with the offer of food. Her eyes darted to the roasted meat that a bite had already been taken out of and she felt her mouth start to aggressively water.
No, no, no! Focus! Food later! she yelled at herself in private and, as much as she hated it, swallowed.
“Oh, I’m good, thank you!!” She insisted with a wave of her hands. “I’ll eat later. But, I mean, you can’t just say something as mysterious and interesting like you’re looking for someone and think you might have found them! Who are you looking for waaay out here in the middle of Capital Nowhere? I mean, unless the person you’re after is made of rocks.”
One of Celirii’s shoe-covered feet kicked at a rock on the dirt next to them. It rolled a few meters away before it tumbled to a steady stop up against an even bigger rock. Besides that, dirt, some extremely minor vegetation, and dangerous animals that survived on those rudiments, there was nothing here. Even Celirii didn’t want to come back after she felt like she got everything she possibly could out of it. Doing things the same way, over and over, got her into this situation.
“So, unless you’re a bounty hunter or working for the government on some super, top-secret mission, who are you after?” Celirii asked with a tilted head. Her hair, freshly fluffed, hung to the side as well, just as wild and untamed as ever. Flecks of dust dotted the raven-black threads throughout, too. “And how did you find them, anyway?”
She looked around them a few times.
“I only know the general direction to get back home, let alone how to find someone hiding out here.”

Celirii didn't want any of her food? Well, if that was the case, then that was all she needed to hear. The young woman just offers a slight nod in return, beginning to munch away at the slab of meat while her new friend began to talk away. It didn't take too long for the Saiyan woman to eat up the entirety of it. While she certainly didn't think it was a good idea to be training out here alone when you weren't too strong, Yacha too found herself out here in the past in attempts to get stronger. There was pretty much everything out here that was needed to help go stronger. Not only did you have to worry about all the hungry wildlife attacking, but you also needed to find your own food, water, and anything else you needed to survive. A bed would've been kind of nice out here, though. Sleeping on the rocks was only bearable for so long before the young Saiyan got real tired of it.
"- Oh, right. I guess I should've been a little more clear with what I meant by that." The now meatless stick was tossed into the fire, a light hum leaving Yacha for a moment or two. "I was sent out here by a man and a Kai who has been watchin' ya' for quite a bit with their magical divine powers or whatever it. Heck, you're really the only reason we even came to Vegeta, I think. Ya' must be pretty special if we came all this way just to try and grab ya'." A couple nods followed the Saiyan's words.
Opting not to get into too much detail about her companions until she was sure that the slightly older Saiyan was intent on joining them, Yacha continued speaking after a moment of thinking. "My name's Yacha, by the way. Our groups all about, uh.. unifyin' the galaxy or somethin' like that." A slight shrug was given before she continued. "Now.. truthfully, I ain't care too much about any of that stuff. But I figure if we're gonna be goin' around tryin' to unite the galaxy, we're bound to bump into some real tough guys, right? And if that's the case, maybe I'll be able to get a few good fights in with some of the people we come into contact with and get stronger myself. Not to mention, it's a pretty good opportunity to get to wander around and see some of the other planets out there. Vegeta's, uh.." Yacha pauses, letting her mind wander to find the right word to describe her home world. ".. nice, I guess, but I'm sure there're even nicer planets out there! Even Namek was kinda' nice and I was only there for a bit."
The young woman blinks a bit, starting to feel herself drifting further away from the topic. She had a mission to do, so it was probably best to focus for as long as possible. The sooner they got this done with, the sooner the group could continue on their way. Yacha clears her throat a tad, a slight smile spreading across her face. "So, Celirii, would you care to join us on our mission? It'd be a good experience for you. Plus, you'll have access to us and the others on the ship to help ya' train. Not to mention, a free room all to yourself so you'll always have a spot to stay no matter where we might end up landin'." The room bit was kind of important. Well, it was important to Yacha, at least.

As strongly as she insisted that she did not, in fact, want any of Yacha’s food, she did. She had her own in her bag. She hunted animals while she was out here, too. But to turn down freshly-roasted meat that was right there, free for the taking? That was a challenge unlike any that Celirii ever had to experience in her life up until that point. She did her best not to stare as Yacha mowed through the rest of it and tossed the perfectly white bone back into the fire before she picked the conversation back up.
She immediately forgot all about the food.
Divine powers? Aliens? Conquering the galaxy? These questions swirled through her head and her young eyes got wider and wider as her imagination ran wild. She was the person that Yacha searched through these wastelands for. She had been selected by some sort of divine being to join a group of people trying to unify the entire galaxy. She couldn’t even imagine that. Only in ancient history, centuries ago, did her people engage in that kind of political power-playing throughout the cosmos. Ultimately, it reduced them back to a single world.
Dreams of those ancient stories played through her mind. Legends of the golden light of Super Saiyans as they fought to conquer entirely new worlds. Myths of the great battles that took place, entire planets torn asunder. Celirii saw countless thousands die in the attack of the World Trade Fleet on Vegeta. If the Saiyans had kept their galaxy-spanning strength intact, would Vegeta have ever been vulnerable to something like that?
Now, as far as she knew, no one in her family really cared about that. Until those words left Yacha’s soft-looking lips, Celirii herself never thought much about it, either. It was simply out of her league. Suddenly, this woman casually talked about the impossible, and offered Celirii a ticket on a plane that would take her back through time, to be part of the stories that so fascinated her as a little girl.
Until she remember just how weak she was compared to most Saiyan soldiers. The light of interest and wonder in her eyes died down. Then, the more she thought about it, the more she realized that she had no real reason to believe any of this. The more she replayed Yacha’s words in her mind, the more she sounded crazy.
But she doesn’t look crazy… Celirii argued with herself, privately, and hummed as she looked between Yacha and the fire. Her gaze dropped to her hands and her fingertips idly picked at her nails, anything for a distraction from the doubts and foreboding sense of inadequacy that all converged on her at once.
“So, you know, I’m going to risk sounding like a stupid little girl,” she cleared her throat, lifted her head, and looked at Yacha. A sudden, uncharacteristic shyness permeated everything about her. “But that’s a lot to digest. I don’t even know what a Kai is. And, me? Help conquer anything? That’s…”
Her voice petered out into a small squeak by the end. She hated to think about it, or admit it, but the truth still dangled from the tip of her tongue.
“Why me? I’m not all that strong at all, in the big picture, and I’m only nineteen!” she said. “And, after you answer that, can you like…I don’t think you’re a liar, okay? But hearing this, I really need to see some sort of evidence, right? I think that’s only fair.”

A hand came up to lightly scratch the back of her head, eyes falling shut for a bit. It seemed as though her friend here was having a bit of trouble trying to comprehend what had just been said to them- Though, it wasn't like Yacha could really blame the older Saiyan. After all, after just having all of this information dropped on them, it surely couldn't have been all that easy to process it all at once. Even Yacha had a hard time believing some of the things she was told. Perhaps seeing some of the stuff that she had been talking about would've helped Celirii believe her a little more. But how was she supposed to supply them with the evidence they wanted? It's not like she was really able to just pull the other traveling companions out of her pockets or anything like that. They were at least a few miles away from the ship, so it'd probably be kind of hard to get them out here as well. A low groan leaves the young woman, tail wagging about behind her.
Onyx pupils show themselves again, Yacha's icy gaze landing on the other Saiyan. A heavy huff leaves the youth, eyeing the other for a few moments. From what she knew at least, the shyness they exhibited was pretty odd. It was almost cute- But it was kind of interfering with her mission. There had to be someway that she could get Celirii to follow with her for just a little while, but how? While it wasn't exactly going to be something that she enjoyed, perhaps coming across as a little more friendly and sympathetic may have worked here. Or not. Yacha was never really like that, nor was she a very good actor. She clears her throat some, beginning to slowly close the gap between the two.
"Look, Iri.." The young woman started, eyes down on her new older sister-friend-person. For one reason or another, just being able to look down on another person seemed to bring them some satisfaction for one reason or another. A warm smile spreads across her face, doing her best to hide how happy she was that Celirii was a fair bit shorter than herself. Her hand reached out to plant itself atop the older Saiyan's shoulder. "I know it's hard to believe- And gettin' all this info all at one ain't easy to understand. Even I know that." Yacha says in a soft-spoken tone, nodding her head just a tad. "For some reason, they even reached out to me when I got to Namek, and I'm a little bit younger than ya' are! Might've even been a little weaker, too. If ya' ain't strong now, then we'll help ya' get there. Truthfully, I ain't think any of us are ready to start workin' on takin' out big baddies yet, but we're tryin' to get stronger while we grab some new recruits."
While she had been improving a lot recently, there was sure to be a ton of people out there who were even stronger than she was. The group that invaded Vegeta previously were far stronger than her, but the thought of that was partially what drove her to training even harder. The next time her home world got invaded by some stupid aliens, Yacha was going to make sure she was able to help fight back, so long as she had a way to make it to the red orb in time.
"The Kai we got on board, Inna, see that ya' got the potential to become somebody great, so she really wants ya' with us." Yacha starts, expression relaxing for a moment. Even though she hadn't wanted to give out names at first, perhaps it'd make her whole spiel a little more believable if names were given. "If Inna didn't see potential in ya' at all, she wouldn't have sent me out here to find ya'.- Actually, we probably wouldn't even be here right now if ya' weren't here! Ya' just gotta trust me on this one." Her grip on the other tightened just a bit, careful not to accidentally hurt them. "If ya' come with me just for a bit, I promise everything'll be fine and ya' can get all the proof ya' want. And, on the off chance that somethin' bad does happen, I'll do my best to protect ya' in anyway that I can. Last thing I'd want is for an innocent Saiyan to get hurt 'cause of anythin' I did. Otherwise.." A light sigh leaves the young woman, eyes shifting off to the side, a brief pause following before she continued. "I can't really think of anyway to give ya' any sorta' evidence. If ya' got somethin' in mind, then I'll be happy to fulfill whatever request ya' have, so long as ya' come with me afterwards."
"Heck! Come with me now and I, the great Yacha, will owe ya' one." She tacked on at the end, hoping that it'd make the offer sound a little more appealing.

Not a single part of Celirii fully believed Yacha when mentioned being younger. Something about her, her pragmatism, her crystal-clear rationality, seemed far too mature. Girls younger than her seemed more vapid and arrogant than Yacha acted like she could ever be, a fact that Celirii enjoyed deeply. It contributed to why she even entertained these ideas of divine powers, a group of people trying to get stronger, and an attempt to conquer the entire galaxy and even the entire universe. The fact that they found this girl on some other planet entirely, some place named Namek? That, too, added a ton of credibility to things that Celirii couldn’t simply ignore.
Especially if I could get stronger, she reminded her. Or, I mean, you know, maybe spend some more time with someone like Yacha…
She pushed the thought back out of her mind for a moment, considered what else Yacha added, and hummed quietly. She nodded to Yacha’s reassurances, convinced that this young lady wouldn’t offer to protect her should things go south unless she honestly meant it. She had no qualms admitting that she wasn’t fully convinced they could actually achieve anything, but that there was clearly something to be gained from working together and seeing what could come of it.
That could not be denied. Whoever this Inna person was, she really did seem to know things. Celirii, of course, wanted to believe that she had a lot of untapped potential. If someone else thought that? It told her she was not entirely alone with those thoughts.
“Okay, okay,” Celirii nodded a few more times. “I can think of something. Before I jump on this big ship with you guys, could you maybe have Inna come meet me? Somewhere on the planet, anywhere she wants. But I wanna see her and talk to her before we do anything big.”
Celirii held the younger girl’s gaze as she asked, then nodded one more time. She tapped at her chin and let her eyes wander away for a moment as she thought a bit more about it. Then, she suddenly smiled, and looked back to Yacha with a renewed interest and fire in her eyes.
“And, if it wouldn’t trouble you toooooo much, would you be willing to show me what you can do?” She asked and leered forward a bit as she did. “Nothin’ crazy! But I’m kinda small-time and everyone I know, except my sister, is pretty small-time too. If we got at it just a little bit, out here in the middle of no-where, that’ll really tell me who I’m working with, right?”
She tilted her head as asked and gave a bright, innocent little smile.
“Oh!” She went on. “And if you’re a lot stronger than me, and I kinda think you and everyone else involved probably are, it’ll be really good for me, too. And if it makes me stronger, and I team up with you guys and try to help become strong enough to conquer a whole galaxy? Then that’s good for all of us, too, isn’t it?”

Growing up in the slums of planet Vegeta wasn't exactly the greatest place for a child to be. While she at least got to experience some of the joys of being a kid, the youth just seemed to always find herself getting in trouble over something or another. In a place like that, you were kind of forced to mature rather quickly. But that was a whole different story for another time, if the Saiyan even felt like delving into her background with anybody. Right now, she just had to listen and try to convince her new friend person to come along with them on their ship so they could blast off to wherever it was they were headed next. Thankfully, it didn't seem like it was going to be too much trouble to persuade the older Saiyan.
"Ya' wanna meet up with Inna?" The young woman says, hand lowering to her side after a moment. A thoughtful hum leaves Yacha, eyes shutting briefly. It shouldn't have been too hard to set up a meeting between the two. In fact, Inna may have been watching them go through their little interaction right now. A few quick nods were done, eyes showing themselves once again. "Yeah, yeah. That's fine with me. I'll head back over there and let her know, soon."
Her mind soon drifted towards the other request Celirii had in mind. While normally she'd be all for a fight, the youth wasn't entirely sure about this one. After all, her senses alone told her just how much stronger she was than the other. The thought alone seemed to bring out that same previous smile, feeling some sort of satisfaction over the fact that she was both taller and stronger than a Saiyan older than her. Of course, nothing was said out loud. Yacha didn't want to seem like a bad person, or anything. Having another Saiyan aboard was going to be worth it in the end, and she didn't want to mess something up. Methus and Inna probably would've been pretty upset, too.
"Ah, a fight? Hmm.." She started after getting over that. Her expression faded, becoming rather flat. "I guess that's fine. But, uh.. are ya' sure ya' wanna do this out here right now? Not tryin' to brag or nothin', but.. I'm a lot stronger than you. I really ain't wanna hurt, uh.." A pause was taken the youth doing her best to recall something from earlier. "What'd ya' call me earlier? Cute? Yeah. Last thing I'd wanna do is hurt a cute lady like you. Ain't really got a way to make myself become weaker or anythin', either, so.." Yacha says, voice trailing off into silence at the end, before beginning to take a few steps back. While it probably would help Iri gain a good idea of just how strong they all were, and maybe even make her a tad bit stronger in the process, the last thing Yacha wanted to was accidentally injure her new friend. There had to be someway to make this fight at least a little fair for the older Saiyan. But what? And then something popped into her head.
"Oh, I know!" One arm was tucked away behind her back, hiding it from view for the time being. While it probably wasn't going to help a whole lot, just putting herself at a little bit of a disadvantage here should have made it a tad bit more fair. "I'll only use one hand for the duration of the fight." Yacha says, nodding her head some, a smirk spreading across her face. The single hand she had out balled into a fist, the Saiyan bending her knees a bit, ready to leap right at Celirii- But perhaps it would've been nice to let them go ahead and get in the first blow. "Ya' can even make the first move, so feel free to start whenever ya' want."

Celirii smiled, wide and bright, the moment Yacha showed even a moment of hesitation. Her parents never got her a scouter, so she couldn’t be entirely sure, but a single look at Yacha reminded her of how Deni seemed when she got serious during their fight two years ago: much stronger. If Celirii had to guess, she would have pegged Yacha as being a number of leagues beyond Deni herself, strong enough to put Celirii through a mountain range or two if she really, truly wanted to. The more she thought about it, the bigger her smile grew, and she nodded along to Yacha’s uncertainties.
“No, no, don’t even worry about it!” She insisted and let her dark hair swing from side to side when she shook her head again. “I can, like, feel it in my bones that you’re way stronger than me. But I really want to actually feel it, right? Like…if I can see what that kinda strength is like first-hand, I might be able to get there faster. Does that make anysense?”
She giggled at her own words and the sudden enthusiasm that spread, like a bolt of lightning, through her entire body. She felt it impacted at the top of her spine, obliterate her previous doubts and concerns, and fly through her body like a purifying fire. As Yacha tucked an arm away behind her back, Celirii playfully glared at the gesture, but privately thanked the younger girl for the handicap. She hated the situation, of course, but not more than she loved the thrill of impossible odds and seeing a summit that she had never personally witnessed before.
Yacha was probably stronger than Deni, Chaya, and her own parents combined. How could she not think that was the wildest, coolest thing in the whole world at the moment? Divine powers and galaxy-conquerors were up there, naturally, but simple raw power being given a physical form right before her very eyes?
The idea that it went leagues above Yacha, too?
Could anything in life—besides pretty girls and attractive boys—be much better than that?
“Allllllllllllllll I ask is that you don’t blow my head off by accident,” she winked at Yacha and took a few steps away from the girl who could be her prodigal younger sister, in a different world and a different history. “I have a feeling that even my absolute biggest move isn’t gonna scratch someone like you, at least not right now.”
Then, her playful teasing and words vanished for a moment as she smirked, “But I still wanna try like hell anyway.”
Celirii spread her arms out and, with a deep breath, suddenly lifted the soles of her shoes off the rocky, dusty ground beneath them both. She rose higher and higher until a dozen or so meters separated her from the onyx-haired Saiyan youth below her. She giggled a little bit, felt that fire of excitement rush through her veins again, and lifted a hand over her head. Her whole body twisted, and she lifted a leg at the knee, until she looked like she was about to pitch a ball.
Above her, in the palm of the hand well above her head, a blue light appeared. It glowed brightly and intensely from the moment it materialized and a high-pitched hum cried out over the entire wasteland around them both. Her wild, black hair twisted and whipped in the wind that it created, becoming even more of a tangled mess with each passing second. The light in her hand grew and grew, right along with Celirii’s smile.
“Okay!” She shouted down at Yacha over the sound of her own, roiling energy that seemed to mirror her excitement and curiosity. “Let’s start with something like this! I call it…”
She took a deep breath as the blue mass of energy in her hand suddenly surged in size and the hum hit a crescendo.
“Stardust…!” She yelled down to Yacha, then threw her hand down and forward. Just as her arm finished the snap of her ‘throw,’ a final flash of navy blue rushed over the world as a body-sized mass of pure fighting energy burst forth from her palm.
“Wave!”

A light chuckle escapes the Saiyan youth's lips, the entirety of her attention on the woman before her. It really seemed like the older Saiyan wanted Yacha to go all out in this little fight of theirs, but she really didn't think that was going to be a good idea. The handicap should've at least made things a little better. While she still had her other hand, it limited her quite a bit. Her strongest technique at the moment was going to be barred off from use for the time being. But even her lesser attacks could've been enough to cause some serious damage. And the last thing she wanted was to have to present the broken body of her target to Methus and Inna.
Yacha was pretty surprised at how fast she was progressing, truthfully. By this point, she might've even been stronger than the leaders of the group. She was pretty happy that she wasn't the leader of their group. Even if she was strong, the Saiyan wasn't too smart. And when it came to decision making, you might as well have been asking a rock to make decisions for you. But, while those two had a lot of other things to do, Yacha was free to just go about and do whatever she wanted so long as any tasks that were given to her had been completed. That left more than enough time in the day for her to train away to her heart's content. It'd probably end up the same way for Celirii, as well.
"That's alright! Just try your best and I'm sure ya' can at least push me back a bit! I'll try not to hurt ya' too badly as long as ya' try to avoid that, too!" The young woman shouted up at the other as they began to slowly rise up into the air, readying an attack of some sorts by the looks of things. Ready to bolt off once the fighting had begun, Yacha squints, keeping a close eye on Celirii and her bright ball of light. It didn't take too long for them to launch the wave of energy right at the youth. While it might've been a good idea to get moving right away, Yacha figured it wouldn't take much effort to simply take the attack head on if need be. So, she just waited until the last minute to do anything.
"That's it! Do it just like that!" Yacha shouted, a grin spreading across her face as the attack got closer and closer to her. Even though her opponent was far weaker than she was, the Saiyan couldn't help but feel a little excited to get the first look at just how strong their new recruit was going to end up. Mere seconds before the beam crashed right into, with a burst of speed, Yacha vanished from her spot, leaving nothing but an afterimage in her place, which'd likely get eaten away by the incoming wave of energy soon enough. That wasn't her problem, though. It was just a little image, after all.
Some feet away, off to the side of where she had been standing previously, Yacha stood, completely untouched by the attack. "Phew! If I waited for just another second or two and I might've been toast!" She says, not wasting anymore time at that point. Without another second wasted, the Saiyan youth bolted right up into the air as fast as she could, heading straight for Celirii!
Not wanting to end this whole thing right away, she'd stay away from energy techniques for now. As long as she was able to get up close enough to the other Saiyan, nothing more than a few quick, yet powerful jabs were sent flying their way, aiming to hit whatever she could, as fast as she could. Of course, Yacha was being limited in how much she could do with only having one hand available for use here! While she wanted to say a lot more, the Saiyan figured that could've waited until their fight was over with.

Just like Celirii feared: Yacha simply stood there and stared at the mass of blue energy as it crashed down on her. Clearly, all the attack’s power meant absolutely nothing to her, and she just watched it. She even cheered Celirii on as she got ready to launch it with every bit of power she had. Then, without even meaning to, Yacha ground some salt into the wound when the blast consumed her entirely. Celirii grit her teeth and watched, certain that the younger woman wanted to demonstrate just how harmless the blast was, as it crashed into the ground and exploded into a fiery conflagration that consumed everything for meters around the armored woman.
Until her soft voice called out from the side, just beyond the reach of the dust and fire, about how close that had been. Even if she didn’t mean to, the comment burned. Celirii realized that she was entirely out-classed from the beginning, but to fake it, as if she really had a chance to hit her in the first place? That was a unique sort of taunt, but she kept her mouth shut. She deserved it for picking a fight with someone so much stronger than her just to see what she could do.
If she wanted to achieve anything during this exhibition, she needed to fight smart.
“The next one won’t be so easy to get out of!” Celirii shouted back down at Yacha, a grin back on her face, as she lifted her fists to protect either side of her head. She squeezed them tight, despite how small and distinctly feminine they were, and readied herself for whatever the younger girl had in store for her next.
You know, this is gonna rock my world, isn’t it? Celirii realized as a shiver of uncertainty, and fear, pulsed down her spine. Well, you know what? Screw it! What’s the Earth phrase? In for a penny, in for a…something? Yeah, that!
She grinned just a bit more widely, and then Yacha vanished. Or, seemed to vanish. A quiet puff of dust remained where Yacha once stood and Celirii hardly had time to squint her eyes at the spot before she felt a presence right next to her in the air. Her eyes barely had time to turn, to see the suddenly-imposing figure next to her, fists at the ready, and one aimed straight at her as a simple jab.
A simple jab that moved faster than anyone she ever saw before.
She could have surrendered in that moment, let it happen, and agreed to call the fight before things got any farther. Instead, she tried to move her arms, to get something in front of the first jab before it connected, but she simply couldn’t. Yacha weaved right through her guard before she had a chance to react and she felt the younger woman’s knuckles connect, cleanly, with her jaw.
Celirii never had a chance to scream before the sheer force of the blow, intentional or otherwise, snapped her had to the side. All of the strength she used to keep herself floating in the air vanished and the impact sent Celirii whistling through the air. She raced away from Yacha, powerless, right before she smashed into, and straight through one of the rocky towers that dotted the wasteland. Then she smashed through another. Then another. Then a fourth, before she tumbled along the ground along with rocks, pebbles, and full-size boulders alike.
For a few seconds, she laid there. Her hand twitched and her eyes hung open, completely flat and lifeless. Her foot twitched next, and then a sudden, sharp breath followed as she sucked in air. She started coughing immediately as she laid there and, with a loud groan, started to put her hands underneath her. Everything about her body felt sensitive and the pebbles beneath her soft palm bit into the skin like thousands of little knives. With all the strength she could muster, she pushed herself up onto her bare knees. Wobbling the entire way, she lifted herself up onto her feet after a couple more seconds.
Before she got back to full height, she stumbled forward. Her bare feet caught against the dirt and rock below, and quietly screamed as even the smallest rocks felt like she had been stabbed. She took another, slow breath before she managed to stand up straight again. Her chest, small and even with a tight bra on, heaved and bounced as she tried to catch her breath.
Her jaw, where she took the blow, felt numb and nearly dislocated.
“Wow, that’s…” she started, breathless as she stared up at the Saiyan above. Without even trying, she hit harder than Deni’s ‘Stellar Impact’ did, way back when. “That’s pretty amazing. But I can do this all day!!”
Blue light burst into creation around Celirii. She clenched her fists again and push her energy back underneath her, lifting her bare feet from the dirt and rock. Dust fell from the soles of her feet as she rose into the air until she reached the same height as Yacha once again. Then, the blue light pulsed, and grew, as Celirii pushed herself to her absolute full strength.
Around her fists, specifically, the glow of blue grew the brightest.
“Ready, set…!!” she shouted and then, with a burst of air, rushed straight forward at Yacha. Her right fist drew back in the second before she got in range, she threw it forward as a straight jab right back at Yacha’s face, just like she had gotten from her. Just as she punched, she took in a sudden gasp of air, and held it.
The punch fell short and instead, before either of them were in range, the glowing energy around her fist exploded harmlessly. However, it swallowed them both in a wave of heat and smoke that turned the clear air into an thickly obscured fog that choked and burned at the throats of everything caught inside it, Celirii included.
If she hadn’t held her breath.
With her vision suddenly blackened and the air abruptly noxious, she started to throw punch after punch, and even spun around for some high kicks to the head, straight at the Saiyan woman. She hoped and pleaded, with no one in particular, that her little stunt accomplished something, anything, or she might not get up from what followed next.

Needless to say, the Saiyan woman wasn't trying her absolute hardest in this little bout. However, it seemed as though she was still managing to do quite a bit to her opponent. Their fist flew, smacking them around and even seemingly sending them flying away. 'Whoops..' She quietly thought to herself, blinking all the while. 'Guess I overdid it a little right there.. Oh well. She should be fine. I hope.' Surely Celirii would get up soon enough and strike right back. The older of the two didn't seem like the type to just give up that easily. Even if they knew they didn't have a chance against Yacha, they were going to try their best until the fight was over.
Her onyx gaze remained on her opponent, simply waiting there in the air for however long it'd take. And eventually, they'd begin to rise up to their feet once more, albeit pretty slowly. In response to the Saiyan's will to keep on fighting, the youth clapped a bit. "Wow! Surprised ya' can even still move after that! Guess Inna was right, ya' are gonna be pretty handy if we can get ya' to be a little stronger!" She'd say as Celirii went ahead and tried to regain their composure.
And yet, even after all that flying and tumbling they did, it seemed as though the older of the two wasn't done just yet. Before long, they were rushing up through the air, seemingly with another idea in mind. They said they could do this all day, and by the looks of it, they were telling the truth. In any case, Yacha was ready to give Celirii the fight they wanted so badly, even if it wouldn't be super exciting for her. Just as a blue, glowing fist was sent out, her opponent took in a deep breath. That was a little weird, but she wouldn't question it for the time being. She wouldn't really even have time to ask about it, as the punch would fall short of the youth's face, the energy around her fist seeming to kind of explode. That wasn't really what got her, though. It was the fog that was going to mess her up, if only just a little bit.
Her breathing would continue of course, and as a result, the fog managed to seep it's way into her system. While it probably wouldn't cause any serious damage, it was certainly uncomfortable. Coughing would soon ensue, her eyes shutting. It wasn't like she could really see at this point anyhow, so that wasn't going to effect a whole lot either way. Celirii had at least been prepared for the little stunt, however, as evident by their flurry of attacks that were sent her way.
There was little that could be done to avoid the attacks, but the Saiyan definitely knew they were coming. Sadly, however, she was at least going to be pushed back a bit, her opponent even going as far as to kick her in the face a few times! Even if she didn't care all too much about her looks, being kicked in the face wasn't exactly enjoyable.
Not wanting to float around in that smoke for too much longer, Yacha quickly descended to the surface of Vegeta and as far away from that stuff as she could. An eye opened about halfway, peering over towards the cloud of fog. "A-Alright!" Yacha shouted up, followed by a series of rough coughs. "I'll admit.. that was pretty good!" Truthfully, the youth didn't even know if she was smart enough herself to pull something like that off. It probably would've backfire if she had tried something like that in a real fight. "But.."
Even after Celirii's quick thinking combined with their assault, Yacha was still standing. She may have been a little dirtier now, but the young woman was far from being defeated. A keen eye would notice that there was hardly a scratch or a bruise on her! Quite the durable Saiyan, indeed. "It's gonna take more than that to beat me!" Her eyes opened up fully as she got her sentence out, cold gaze fixed on where she sensed her opponent was at. While it definitely wasn't going to be necessary at all, the youth figured she could show off a little bit of what power she really had. Hopefully it wouldn't permanently put Celirii out of commission, though.
Her free hand stretched outwards, slowly beginning to rise up into the air with her palm facing towards the red sky above. A massive amount of energy began to concentrate in the area just an inch or two above Yacha's hand, an azure orb of ki that must've at least been as big as the Saiyan herself beginning to take form. The loose pebbles around her began to rise up into the air, the orb seeming to increase in size more and more. It wasn't going to take too long before it was ready to be launched.
"This one's pretty strong, so if ya' wanna give up just let me know and I'll come save ya'!" More shouting was done, a low growling leaving the younger Saiyan. Whether or not she'd actually be able to save her opponent after the attack was thrown was unknown, but hopefully things would turn out fine either way. "Alright! Here we go! My- uh.." A brief pause being taken, brain kicking into overdrive as it dug to find the name of her attack. Whatever, it wasn't important right now. ".. my attack that I forgot the name of!"
With a yell that echoed through the wastes, a leg took a single step forward, arm beginning to slowly but surely move forward through the air, ultimately releasing it's hold on the massive orb of ki. It flew straight towards her opponent, ready to swallow them whole if they weren't well prepared for the incoming attack, releasing somewhat of a screeching sound as it barreled forth. Even any of the remaining smog was blown away with the sheer force the technique managed to generate. A final though leaving her as she waited for the result of her efforts. 'I seriously hope she can dodge this..'
