Kraktus’s ship floated above the city of the tuffles. All that was left of a once great empire. From stories, he had heard they were rivals to the saiyans but now they were nothing. He’d flick some buttons on the control panel. He really needed to find a crew WTF men were unreliable. He was going to recruit from his enemy. Maybe he’d also get lucky and find one of these tuffles. He was sure he’d work with him if any were left. More than anything the gas that surrounded their home could of use to him. Maybe study it and turn it into a chemical weapon. He’d closed his eyes, it been a long time since he been to Vegeta. Last time he has been around here, he had been attacked by a bio-android before another bio-android ate him all up. He wondered what happened to Eve. Guess she ate herself, that was his assumption anyway.
His ship finally landed breaking the ground under it with its weight. He had been undetected he knew that to be sure. His ship had the best stealth drive in the universe or at least he assumed so. He’d gaze around the ruins as he checked his scouter. He’d saw a high power level that was nearby. Kraktus grunted in annoyance. Guess they picked him up with a scouter. He saw a saiyan come out from one of the building as he screamed out “Who are you explain what you are..” Kraktus just lifted his arm telekinetically choking the saiyan until he collapsed. He’d check his scouter again just in case he was just the first of many to come.

Scallio, Narissa, and another member of his crew were out scavenging the Tuffle Captial for spare parts. Not a typical activity for the mercenary group but it was being done at Narissa's request. Ever since they had gotten to Vegeta and she had learned about the Tuffles. Narissa had been begging to go out an explore the remains of their capital. In the hopes that she'd be able to uncover leftover remnants of their technology. Tuffle technology was highly sought after and expensive. Not only because it was expertly made, but because it was in short supply. The Tuffle race was no more after all. Having been wiped out of existence by Saiyans from the past. Leaving only their reputation as master's of technology and the remnants of said tech behind.
The trio had been looking for at least two hours now. And they had still yet to find anything useable. Most of what they had stumbled upon was useless junk. That was better of collecting dust and radiation. This had been the outcome Scallio was expecting though. He had tried telling Narissa that capital had already been picked clean at this point. Anything of real value having been scavenged years ago. But Narissa was a stubborn soul and she refused to listen. It was one of the things he liked about her though, even if it was a tad bit annoying sometimes. He let out a groan and tossed a piece of rubble aside. "Still nothing Narissa," he called out to the Heran behind him. She didn't respond though, instead keeping quiet as she continued to look around the building.
The third member of Scallio's scavenging party, a male Saiyan of medium height and build, had reached his limit though. Tossing a piece of rubble to the ground in frustration. "Enough! I'm bored and we're not finding anything," he exclaimed, turning to face Scallio who had turned to meet his gaze. "I'm going to head back to the ship if that's okay with you boss? This all seems like a fool's errand anyway." despite having asked if it was okay to leave. The Saiyan was already making his way towards the exit of the building.
"Yeah, whatever, go ahead and leave I guess. Let the others know we'll be back sometime shortly. I don't imagine we'll be out here much longer."
The Saiyan waved back at Scallio in reply, "Yeah no problem." of course he'd never get to relay that message. As shortly after departing from the building he spotted a strange figure. He'd only just begun to ask who the strange alien was and what they were up to. When suddenly he began to feel himself rise from the ground and a pressure-crush down on his neck. His move flailed wildly in the air and he struggled to breathe. Grabbing hold of his neck as he gasped out for air. The Saiyans vision grew darker and darker until it faded altogether. His limbs ceased movement and his body fell limp, suspended helplessly in the air. He was dead. His body dropping to the ground once Kraktus released his telekinetic hold on it.
Unluckily for Kraktus, Scallio had been staring at the building entrance. Watching horrified as the life of one of his crew was taken by some unknown force. Without so much as a second though Scallio rushed outside the building and to the body of his fallen comrade. The mercenary knelt down and felt for any sign that his comrade could still be alive. But he found none, only confirmation that his life had been taken. A wave of seething anger boiled up from within Scallio and his aura erupted to life around him. He glared towards Kraktus. The alien who was busy checking his scouter for power levels. "You'll pay for this you bastard." he spat venomously, an orb of orange ki charging within the palm of his hand.
"Siege Cannon!" he pushed his hand forward, releasing a large beam of orange towards General Kraktus.
At the same time from within the relative safety of the building, another beam of energy was fired. This one was smaller, purple in color, and less powerful than Scallio's own attack. It rocked past Scallio's shoulder and traveled alongside his own beam towards Kraktus. Narissa wasn't certain of the situation but she'd seen Scallio fire off his attack. And knew that it could only mean one thing.
[A1] Siege Cannon fired at Kraktus for 7,920 PL.
[A1] Full Powered Energy Wave fired at Kraktus for 1,650 PL.
Scallio's KP: 2/3 - Narissa's KP: 2/3

Auber was flying around his homeworld, only difference is, he was taking in the sights and just enjoying the flight, and why? Because this time it was of his own accord and not a mission given to him by the higher ups, sure, Auber was a professional and he liked to keep a relationship with fellow soldiers or superiors as that, professional, though this doesn't mean he isn't gonna welcome a rivalry relationship or the other sorts.
As the young saiyan flew around the surprisingly cool airs of Vegeta, he sensed something off, he stopped in mid air and looked toward where his senses were picking up, there was four energy signatures, two he recognised, one surpassed his own and the other three, and the third one was snuffed out soon after, most likely killed.
The two signatures he recognised were Scallio and Narissa, his rival and his rival's engineer, or whatever affiliation she had with him, but the third signature felt ominous in a way, and it was safe to say he knew Scallio well enough that he wouldn't kill whoever that was, it couldn't be a saiba beast, they were laughably weak outside their breeding pits.
He figured the best way to find out was going in the scene and so he did, breaking through the lower clouds, he came across quite a scene, there was Scallio and Narissa firing beams at something, Auber didn't recognize that sort of species, it reminded him of an octopus or a squid of Earth's oceans, he studies other planets when he's not doing missions or flying around.
He figured the two mercenaries were infuriated with the squid face, so that must be the guy who killed the other signature he sensed before it was snuffed out and looking at it now, it was a saiyan, most likely someone of Scallio's crew, that's a problem, he wasn't sure if the Crimson Apes officially aligned themselves with the Kingdom yet but he didn't care, this was an attack on an allied faction and Auber would help.
He waited until the beams made impact, after all, if the squid was faster, Auber could get a case of friendly fire and he would be the victim, in any case, he attempted to fly behind Kraktus and kick his neck from behind, afterwards frontflipping with one hand away in case he tried to retaliate, he was stronger than Auber so he couldn't afford to get his hands or paws, or tentacles on his being, Auber was unnaturally unsettled by octopuses and squids so Kraktus made him automatically regard the squid-face as a creep.

Krkatus scoutered blinked to life. Two new powers. First was a Saiyan, the other he couldn’t see but his scouter could pick up. He’d frown looking at Scallio. Guess that was one of their soldiers. The Saiyan power was <24,000>, the hera only <5,000> guess this would not take too long for him to deal with them. The saiyan yelled out how he was going to pay. Kraktus waved his hand at the fool. “Many people have told me that and many of them sit in graves.” Kraktus countered before the man fired his beam. Kraktus caught the beam between his hand as his scouter beeped. It was just some normal attack. Kraktus gritted his teeth as the blast consumed him he sliding back as his hands burned. The other attack also hit though it really was not all that much. “That was not bad but more of an annoyance than a true danger.” Kraktus looked down at his hands. “Still it did hurt. Guess I gotta teach you a lesson as well.”
As he was not paying attention Auber kick to the back of his neck connected. Kraktus stumbled forward. He’d swing around but the saiyan had already backed off. Smart of him, he's got a cheap shot but it really only had pissed him off rather than dealing serious damage. He’d check his scouter again. <27,000> was what it read. He’d grunt cracking his neck. “Three on one huh?” Kraktus muttered. “Before my training perhaps I’d be in trouble but now you three won’t be doing that well.” Kraktus lifted himself into the air. He’d flex his muscles a purple aura surrounded him as he looked down at Scallio. “Shall I show you what a real attack looks like?” Kraktus noted as he swung his hand down. All of a sudden of a Hand of Psychic energy formed. “Soul claw!” He’d swung down the claw flying to claw Scallio across the chest if he didn’t dodge the thing.
N1: Soul Claw- Using his races mind power Kraktus slashes his arm down sending a purple claw of ki at a target which cuts them. Does 33 Percent of his Powerlevel in Damage.
Powerlevel:19,333 Damage heading at Scallio. Kp:2/3
Forgot Damage earlier. Takes 13 Percent yah so not alot
Scallio had been expecting the combination of blasts from him and Narissa to at least deal some type of noticeable damage. The disappointment on his face when they had effected Kraktus very little was apparent. Just exactly how strong was this guy? The Saiyan gritted his teeth and took a step backward. His eyes darting towards the lifeless body of his comrade. Scallio's hands curled into a tight fist. It didn't matter how strong he was. He wasn't about to let this squid get away with taking the life of his comrade.
Scallio wasn't going to back down.
Thankful it seemed like the universe happened to be in support of Scallio's resolve. As a familiar figure dashed into the ongoing conflict. Delivering a solid blow to the back of the alien's neck before quickly darting backward. Scallio glanced at Auber with anger in his eyes, "That's some timing you've got there." if the look in his eyes hadn't gotten Scallio's displeasure of the situation across. Then the sheer anger in his voice as he spoke to Auber certainly would have. He didn't say it aloud but Scallio was thankful for the assist. Something he hoped the nod of his head in Auber's direction made clear.
The alien of likely Eldritch origin began to speak, and Scallio's aura swirled around him with more intensity than before. This thing seriously thought he could take on both him and Auber? "Such hubris." the Saiyan took a few steps forward. "Bring it on you ugly space squid!" he taunted in reply to Kraktus declaration of showing him a real attack. If he could handle a beating from Kayen than surely he could take whatever this freak could dish out right?
In spite of his bravado, Scallio hadn't been prepared for Kraktus's Soul Claw. The combination of psychic energy and ki ripped into his torso. The Saiyan's eyes widen and he bellowed out in pain as he collapsed towards the ground. Scallio just barely managed to catch himself on his hands and knees. It couldn't be seen but Scallio had deep three gashes on his chest. Blood pooled underneath the fabric of his clothing and armor. Dripping ever so slightly onto the ground beneath him. He did his best to fight against the pain. Rather than focusing on it, he honed in on his anger. Using it to push the pain and slowly rise himself up from the ground.
He spat blood onto the ground and glared daggers at Kraktus, "Is that the best you got? Pitiful." he shouldn't have been egging him on. And Scallio knew that but he couldn't afford to be a coward or a weakling. Especially right now. He had obviously underestimated Kraktus's power. Despite having been shown the alien's strength earlier. But Scallio wouldn't let that happen again. In fact, he was going to pull out all the stops for this. "Narissa! Supercharged Power Ball now!" he barked to the Heran behind him.
Narissa couldn't believe things had gotten that serious so quickly. She cautiously stepped towards the entrance of the building she was hiding in. "R-roger that boss!" she replied already having started charging up the sphere of blutz energy within the palm of her hand. It was unfortunate that Auber wouldn't be able to benefit from the effects of the sphere as well. But that was something she couldn't really afford to think about at the moment. As the Power Ball finished formed within the palm of her hand. She added a further surge of her own energy into the mix. Causing the ball to increase greatly in size.
The Heran flung the Power Ball forward and into the air with all her might. "Burst Open and Mix!" she shouted, tightening her hand into a fist. The sphere let loose a powerful flash of blutz energy outward. Effecting only Scallio as he stared up at and let the wave of energy wash over him and soak into his body.
Scallio's body visibly pulsed with power, his body and clothing expanding as he grew massive in size. Deep black fur grew around his body. Covering him everywhere but in the middle section of his head. Which remained a bright red. He was not only an Oozaru now but also far stronger than he had been before. Scallio released a mighty roar and angerly glared down towards Kraktus. "Die you bastard!" he growled and went to bring his foot crashing down atop the alien. Scallio would have his vengeance and he'd go to any lengths to see it happen.
[SIG] Power Ball was used by Narissa to trigger Scallio's Oozaru Tranformation. She spent 1KP to supercharge the tech granting a bonus x1 to Scallio's Offensive PL.
Scallio's New PL: 144,000 / 120,000
Scallio is attempting to crush Kraktus!
Scallio's KP: 3/3 [No KP Action Taken By Scallio] - Narissa's KP: 1/3
Auber saw how Kraktus attempted to retaliate after he backed away, he smirked mentally, backing away was smart, maybe a hit and run tactic should be in order, his superior strength and speed is gonna be a problem for the two saiyans though and he hopes they both possess the ability and reflexes to counter.
The squid fired some sort of translucent claw at his comrade, which left quite the gush in his chest, still, Scallio kept up a bravado, Auber thought about shooting another beam in return, but an idea popped into his mind, and it was sure to work on Scallio too.
He seemed to have the same idea however, as he ordered Narissa to throw a power ball, Auber would have stared at it but he found himself already clicking a device on his wrist that was given to him with the spacepod when he bought it, and soon enough, the pod rose from the horizon like a bullet and crashed behind Auber, emitting the same waves, though with less kick than the power ball.
His features became more animalistic, his snout extending, his eyes going to a red blood-shot colour, his size increasing with Scallio, he was becoming an Oozaru along with his friend and they would crush this piece of calamari before soon.
As he finally finished transforming, he looked at Kraktus "NOW YOU SEE! THIS IS THE END FOR YOU!" He declared before awaiting Scallio to stomp on the fool, he was sure the squid would try to evade or block it, so he fired a dark-purple beam at the opponent.
Went Oozaru! New PL: 135,000 Fired Dark Beam at Kraktus for a damage of 89,100 1/3 KP
The fate of the tuffle people was one of Vegeta’s greatest mysteries. How could such advanced, civilized people fall prey to savages draped in pelts and hides and little more? They were masters of the sciences and engineering, so why did not reach for the stars? Had they, in their escape from extinction, achieved heights beyond them? Such was the power of fear, supposed Kalabas as he cut open a time-worn mattress, the foam that was once inside now little more than specks that flew about in the air. He had made good use of this mattress before the war, but there was no need for it anymore - the contents inside were far more useful to him now. Through the fine particles of thick black soot Kalabas palpated around the springs for something. Metal clinked against metal, he had found it! The key that would unlock what for him would be revelation!… Not that he would delve deeper into his true origins that day, rather he came to his abandoned retreat to take what mementos he could, there was no need for such cloak and dagger now that father had imposed upon himself exile. And so he capsuled the key, along with photos of girlfriends, beaus, and paramours, leaving behind only clothes and food. The clothes because they did not fit him well, he was always on the lanky-side, but war had leaned out his fat and replaced it with ten more layers of muscle; and the food because he was sick of honeyed orange slices and air-sealed saibasteaks. As he shut the door to the bunker and whispered to himself a promise to never return a nearby explosion brought down the suspended residential-bunker block to the ground. Kalabas walked through the crumbling mountain of rubble coughing up both lungs clean, face caked in dirt and slashed from the base of his neck to behind his ear.
Immediately Kalabas sensed three, no, four energies. Two he recognized, two he did not. Of the former there was one that made him almost… seasick. Could it be him? Kalabas took a deep breath. He somersaulted over entire city blocks of ruins, an unstoppable bundle of guts and energy, and delivered a mighty double axe handle right on the back of a squidman’s head! “Oh mirthless joy, it is truly you, you unsightly cephalopod!” the momentum sent the saiyan high into the air, where he looked over two oozarus and a nervous-looking red and blue dot, he smiled, greatly amused by the piling coincidences “Auber of Vegeta, to see you rein the beastly call - how far you’ve come, good man! And who is this stripling at your side? Someone in control of their ape transformation I hope!” Short of a tail, Kalabas would have trouble dealing with yet another feral beast. He was glad the core principals of Saiyan Krav Maga vouched against the use of tail strikes, it allowed him to pull the same stunts as ever with minimal modifications to his stances. Still, though he had no such limb he could still feel it wrapped around him like a belt, it threw him off-balance as he landed besides the heran - Auber's girlfriend, he guessed. “I thought one such as Auber would be more fond of his countrywomen, but who am I to judge?” he turned to Kraktus, punching the palm of his metal hand, a mad smile on his semblance “Here's hoping that this will be the last of our chance encounters. So, good General, to the death?”

The saiyans with all their bravado didn’t seem to know when they were outmatched. Scallio seems to not even put up any form of defense. He’d just let his Soul claw connect with his form. Did he not know how powerful the attack was? He assumed he did since he had a scouter or could sense ki at least? He felt the saiyans warriors at least had one of those two. He’d watched as the Saiyan was forced to a knee a grin forming on Kraktus’s face. Guess that taught him something. Though he also didn’t know when to shut up. He keeps running his mouth. He wondered when people figured out that was a bad idea. Was it before they died or after? Guess he’d have to ask the next person who somehow was reborn. Maybe Banshee she was a ghost, right?
Of course, both the saiyans had a few tricks. By a few, he meant one but it was a big one. Both of them had brought blutz generators of some kind. What surprised him was the small ball of blutz energy. Sadly it was not enough to affect him as well but he had something better. Scallio and Auber had both grown. Scallio decided to step on him which was not going to go well. He’d press a button in his pocket. Blutz energy swirled to life in his ship as his armor expanded and his body grew to the height of an Oozaru. He had eight large tentacle arms and a maw of sharp teeth ready to rip the poor beast to shreds. He’d catch the leg and attempt to throw Scallio on his back. Though this left him unable to do much to the incoming attack from Auber. He was then blasted in the chest his armor shattering but it reduced the damage at least a bit. "Nice try." He'd grin at Auber as his arms lifted up ready to blast them.
Two on one the odds were against him but now he had powered up. He was stronger then either of them but a good deal. However his scouter picked up another power. <104,000> was massive and Kraktus knew not to take it lightly. He’d peer over and see what a surprise, Kalabas. That was not a good sign. He could not take him if he became an Oozaru. However, he noticed that he didn’t have a tail at least on first glance. Was he hiding it or arrogant enough to think he could beat him with form. “Kalabas you seem to be doing well. Tell me why are not transformed? Do you think you don’t need it?” Kraktus asked trying to actually figure out for sure what he was dealing with. If he could transform it was time to run, if not then he had more options.
Son of the Sea. Powerlevel:290,000. Then Used Armor Item to Increase Deffensive Powerlevel to 348,000. 89,100/348,000=25 Percent Damage Taken!
Loads of things were happening, firstly, Kraktus turned into some Eldritich abomination that made Auberzaroo cringe inside, it disgusted him greatly, it reminded him of all those grimdark books he read in his free time, it was strange, gross and unsettling.
Afterwards, a familiar face made his way onto the scene, it was Kalabas, the duke looked different somehow, he then noticed the lack of a tail, not even around his waist, he decided not to question it in order not to reveal such a weakness to the squid, after all, he thought Kalabas was hiding it.
Auber took off into the air and rolled in the wind before rocketing back towards Kraktus with a hammer-locked hand slam, before grabbing onto the squelchy and disgusting aquatic skin of his and climbing it, in which he tried to take a bite out of the squid and with his jaw strength, tear a chunk off.
Regardless of the outcome, Auber jumped from his foe, back onto solid land, his tail swaying carefully as he did so "ECH, RAW CALAMARI IS DISGUSTING, I PREFER ROASTED" He chuckled before a ball of dark-purple death materialized in his mount and fired at the squid

Kalabas clicked his tongue, “Kraktus, Kraktus, Kraktus… You are killing me here! It is said that you tentacled folk are among the smartest under the seas, so I am certain you’ll have no trouble understanding this…” A ball of energy appeared in Kalabas’ hand. Like Auber’s it was dark, purple, and full of deathly potential, but more importantly, it was deadlier. A beam shot out from the orb, clashing with the Darkness Blast, overwhelming it, its residual energy obliterating a nearby building, leaving nothing for ruins but a smothering cloud of ash. “With but a fraction of my base power I can best Auber’s transformed state. The same happens with his comrade, I could quite easily take on them both, a feat you’d find costly to achieve, moreso now that you see them aided by the very best of the saiyan elite.”
As he distracted his enemy with grandiose words Kalabas simulated tail movement by manipulating the flow of his ki, it appeared that something wagged and coiled around the Duke’s ankle, something quite odd - even suspicious - for the usually composed saiyan. It was why he had overpowered his comrade’s attack, to make himself look just that more cocksure of his own fighting ability. What sort of warrior would do such a thing if not one in full control of the battlefield? “So I present you a choice, you inveterate coward. You either surrender and come with us, or I shall make good on my promise to shred you to ribbons with naught but my maw. These two can have their fun with what remains of you.” Taking a captive - a general - with no fight or struggle, was just what Kalabas wanted to present Kayen. Surely, she’d recognize his titles as legitimate after that.
He turned to Auber, looking up to his red eyes, “I shan’t leave much.” He winked, away from Kraktus’ sight, too frantically to be a spasm or a joke. It was morse code, which Kalabas expected even Auber - and those of similarly lacking educations - to know. W-A-T-C-H-4-R-E-T-R-E-A-T, was the message he was trying to send.

It seems Scallio had backed off for now. Maybe he had realized how outmatched he was. Kraktus eyes shifted back to Auber. He was the one who really wanted to keep fighting. Did he not get he was too weak. He was not a threat to him. He’d turned away looking at Kalabas. The man seemed to be trying to spook him. He had a point, he knew of the Saiyan's power. He was far above Kraktus’s level. So why fight him? All of a sudden however he noticed something moving about Kalabas leg. He had been so focused on the man’s words and being far away he couldn’t tell what it was. He could only assume it was the tail. He must have not gotten exposed to the blutz waves yet. Normally he expected the man to attack yet he didn’t. Was he trying to mentally crush Kraktus? He must be, afterall last time Kraktus had outwitted him in his escape.
He then gave him two options. First was he could surrender and come peacefully. The other option was to die. Kraktus looked at Auber as he screamed out firing a powerful beam right at him. Yet Kala decided to block it with his own attack. This was confusing him. Something was wrong but he was unsure what. Maybe they were distracting him someone was watching? Yet his scouter picked up nothing Kraktus narrowed his eyes at Kala. He was thinking and he made no attempt to go the offensive letting the men recover as he tried to figure out the game that was being played.
A fair amount had happened after the general had blocked Scallio's attempt to squash him like a bug. Of the things that had transpired only two were truly important to Scallio. Auber's own transformation into an Oozaru and the appearance of another Saiyan onto the battlefield. Much like all the other Saiyans that Scallio had met on Vegeta, this one seemed to be quite familiar with Auber already. There truly was no end to the number of people his rival knew was there? What Scallio found strange is that the newcomer also seemed to be familiar with Kraktus as well. This obviously hadn't been their first time dealing with the space squid. He'd be sure to ask about if after they turned Kraktus into ash.
With it now being four on one there was no way the alien was going to stand chance against them. Or so that had been Scallio's thought up until Kalabas blocked the attack Auber had launched at Kraktus. He growled lowly, Scallio's dark red eyes glaring towards Kalabas with dangerous intent. "What the fuck are you thinking!" he shouted, his massive tail flicking about in frustration as he spoke. "Isn't this a friend of yours Auber shouldn't he be helping us?" Scallio shift his gaze towards Auber as he spoke. Only to quickly return his focus to the recently arrived Saiyan. He listened as Kalabas presented Kraktus with two options, either surrounded or die. Another growl escaped from Scallio, this time deeper and far louder. This guy wasn't seriously considering letting this man live, was he? What an idiotic idea!
Scallio's stomped forward, the ground cracking and shaking beneath the weight of his step. He flung his arm to the side in protest of Kalabas's demand, grunting with even more anger than before. "I don't know who the fuck you think you are. But you don't get a say in this! He doesn't get a chance to surround after what he did. No one gets to kill a member of my crew and walks alive. Let alone unharmed. his only choice is to die!" Scallio spat harshly, his nostrils flaring in anger and frustration. The blood of his comrade, of a member of his family, had been shed and it would be repaid. An aura of orange ki roared to life around Scallio's Oozaru form. The very ground beneath him began to crack and shatter, large pieces of rock and rubble raised up into the air flying haphazardly around the area.
"You can either assist me in taking him down, stand aside, or die alongside him." the Saiyan didn't wait for a reply, already charging energy within the palm of his massive hand. He could feel the energy pulsing with power within his power. Throwing caution and diplomacy to the wind. Scallio pushed his hand forward, releasing a massive beam of orange ki from it. It traveled through the air at a breakneck pace. The target of the attack? Kraktus, General of the WTF.
Meanwhile, Narissa, sensing that things were getting a little to intense for her blood. Began to slowly creep her way back into the building she had stepped out of. Once she was a safe distance into the building. She quickly ducked behind some nearby rubble. Not that it would offer her much protection if things got too serious. But it was certainly better than no protection at all. Besides, Scallio had this handle didn't he?
[UA2] Siege Howitzer Launched At Kraktus for 95040 PL.
Goddamn it, was what Auber thought as Kalabas took his attack off Kraktus and into the depths of the scenery, Auber sighed, the duke was doing one of those things again, though he could at least just knock him the hell out and then do whatever.
Auber noticed Kalabas' sporadic winking, at the very first second, he was confused but then his blood eyes widened, he recognized this sort of message, this was Morse Code! It is something Auber has learned in his free time back on Earth when the Fleet still had their grubby hands on Vegeta, he nodded slowly to the duke, letting him know he got the message.
Things would've went smoothly from there, Kalabas had a plan, and as much Auber had to praise the duke for some intellectual thinking, he facepalmed mentally at the reasons, no doubt trying to impress Kayen in order to gain a foothold of power, he supposed it was in the blood of every noble after all.
Scallio however was enraged and infuriated with the death of his comrade, and blinded by his own rage, berated the duke for even considering letting Kraktus a hook off, Auber became annoyed with the lack of better judgment of his comrade and simply allowed Kalabas to deal with the saiyan, Auber however walked around the squid in order to properly surround him, he was gonna do what the duke told him to, Scallio's rage was no doubt gonna give the cephalopod a window of escape and Auber would be there to slam that window right onto his stupid neck, like a chopping block.
‘Just as planned…’ thought Kalabas to himself, licking his lips like a satisfied tomcat - Auber got the message and Kraktus appeared more scattered and confused that ever before! Sure, the little stunt had not endeared him to his comrade, but why should he care? The General’s capture was imminent, soon enough not even that one-eyed trollop of a queen would be able dispute Kalabas’ dukedom, stability would return to Strongbone, and his feat would be sung and praised for years to come! ‘Ah, good general, if only you knew how timely your visit is!’ Even if the fleetman decided to against all logic stand his ground Kalabas had numbers on his side. The alien could perhaps bring down one or two of the allied warriors, but all three? Kalabas figured he could might as well plan the zoonmite’s stay... he knew of a particularly torrid cell in the side of a volcano that would be perfect for the waterborne blemish. “Is something the matter, you ugly sod? Why, I believe your choice is made, then. Put your hands up, this shan’t pain you more than what is deserv-”
Kalabas was, interrupted, spoken over, and worst of all, caught off-guard. The oozaru with the red mohawk saw fit to make his thoughts heard, the fool! Very well, thought the Duke, rolling his eyes and ready to dismiss the man and assign him to some faraway wormhole station - should rank and later humor allow him such pettiness, of course. His attitude changed quite swiftly. Not a stranger to the grief of losing a comrade, Kalabas remained silent, still stanced defensively should Kraktus attempt any tentacular trickery. “Threaten my life again, you unsightly muppet, and I will flog you a thousand times over with your tail and spine.” And that was it. Already he had a plan to rob Kraktus from a particularly gruesome death, but having him tenderized by monkey fists would only make the enemy all the more compliant to sing away every scrap of intel he had.
So distracted was the Duke by the apeish exchange that only now he noticed that Auber had positioned himself well. At least someone knew his place here. Under the noble’s iron thumb that is. Speaking of which, Kalabas detached the finger from the rest of the hand, from it producing a large capsule. He jumped and threw it as his feet, landing on his still-materializing ship. By far the slowest of the fighters, he surfed on his pod to gain some kind of advantage, distracting Kraktus with piercing volleys of ki.

Guess they were all confused. Scallio seemed to be surprised at this sudden betrayal by Kalabas. Yet from his encounters, he knew the Duke to be anything but cautious and passive. He had still not transformed. Maybe he was testing the other Saiyans. Or maybe he was against them fighting him since he was so much stronger. He had not dug up the exact reason but he knew this was not normal. Scallio, however, was who he focused on. The Saiyan was roaring how he’d not be able to live or escape for killing one of his crew. “That was one of your men.” Kraktus grinned and began to laugh. “You're going to throw your life away from someone that pathetic. I don’t know if that is stupidity or courage. Tell me which was it when your friend throat was crushed. Which one did he have trying to attack me?”
Scallio had a large attack prepared. Kraktus attention was pulled away however as he was pelted by a large array of blasts from Kalabas. From the smoke, he could see the pod he had brought which was not a good sign. Was he about to transform? Kraktus turned back just in time to swing a tentacle forward to clash with the beam Scallio fired. Was Kalabasa trying to throw him off his game? That made enough sense. Kraktus grinned from the smoke. “Not bad but that won’t work. I’m far more powerful than you are.” Kraktus looked at Kalabas “Why have you not powered up into Oozaru what is your game.” Kraktus thought he was trying to trap him in a position he could not escape. He had the advantage now but for long? He doubted it. He’d swung his arms down attempting to send four arms to grasp Scallio and four more arms for Auber. Maybe that bait a response out of the saiyan noble.
