Tarch PL: 112,000. Energy Setting: 60,000 (Tarch is on edge) “Why am I back here?” Tarch whined aloud to no one in particular. The young half saiyan was just outside the Destron Crags, pacing around like a paranoid lunatic. His fingers were twitching, his palms were clammy, and his knees were shaking. He wanted nothing more than to get out of there. However, he promised a certain Shinjin that he would meet her here so she could show him something cool. Surely going in with a god was safer than going in alone right? Despite his attempts to reassure himself that he would be fine, Tarch was jumping at every noise he heard, be it Destron related or just the wind echoing through the ruins. It didn’t help that in his apprehension, the half saiyan actually arrived a good thirty minutes earlier than Kiko had instructed. He still had a couple of minutes left before Tarch decided to try and contact her.
“Hey Kiko, sorry for bugging you, but I’m here a little early. This place is seriously creeping me out though, are you on your way?” He called telepathically. The teen anxiously fidgeted, hoping in circles to try and distract himself from the creeping feeling he felt on the back of his neck. This would be an odd change of circumstance. When they first met on Earth Tarch sort of took the role of protecting Kiko. Now their first meeting on Vegeta had her looking out for him, not hat he minded that at all given the locale. REally, who better than a god to help guide him through hell? Another few minutes passed. Maybe he should try asking her again? No, he didn’t want to seem overly paranoid, even though the crags made him feel like it regardless. Besides, Tarch trusted Kiko. He may not have known her for very long, but the two became fast friends, their personalities meshing surprisingly well.

Kiko’s PL: 5,000 “Boo!”Kiko jumped out at the nervous Tarch from behind him with her hands outstretched. She had been overseeing work from inside the Destron Crags, but when she heard Tarch and how nervous he sounded, she couldn’t help but play a little prank on him. She had Kai Kai’d right on over to get the drop on him. She was getting better at it too. Practice made perfect she supposed. She smiled and puffed out her chest with her usual boisterous pride. “Did I get you?”Without waiting too long for an answer, Kiko grabbed Tarch’s hand and pulled him toward the darkened crags. There were a bunch of destron ghosts hanging around, but she had been working on purifying them with her disciples. Her divine powers made real quick work of them. She tugged at his hand impatiently, eager to show Tarch what she had been working on for a while now. “C’mon! Let’s go. The others will probably be wondering where I ran off to. Don’t be scared. My divine powers will protect you!”Fully confident in herself and her abilities, Kiko marched ahead. While she had been building, Brand had been training. He sometimes helped with construction but only when Kiko managed to frame it as training. It was pretty much eat, sleep, and train ever since his humiliating defeat at Kayen’s hands. Kiko sighed and rubbed her head. At least Bravo helped out with construction. He did most of the work actually. Kiko just materialized everything that needed to be put together. Basil had been pretty particular about her catching up on her Otherworld studies. She was pretty sure that she had some dark rings under her eyes from the long nights. “You’re gonna think it’s so cool. Plus, you’ll save me from Teachy Time with Basil… ugh…”

Tarch groaned warily. He had received no answer from the mini goddess for quite some time now. The teen resumed pacing around the place. It felt as though months had passed. He swore he could hear voices coming from the smoke covered cliffs. No, surely it has only been a few minutes. He was early after all. It was probably just the sheer creepiness hanging over the place like a thick smother blanket. That could turn minutes into hours for any weak-willed adventurer. Tarch gave his cheeks a couple of slaps. He was no weak-willed adventurer, he was a brave half saiyan explorer! Nothing could scare him!
Just as he finished hyping himself up, he felt a presence behind him. His breath caught in his chest. Could destron ghosts teleport? Wait, he couldn’t sense them this clearly last time. Were they getting stronger now? Was Tarch about to be attacked by his sister again? It took a split second of worrying for Tarch to realize this presence was familiar. However, it was all too late.
“AAAACK!” the teen screeched, tripping over his feet and falling onto his backside. With a huge sigh of relief, Tarch caught his breath as he saw Kiko standing triumphantly over him. He began to chuckle. Tarch was certainly not above a good prank and not too proud to admit when he’d been gotten. “Jeez! You sure did! That was a good one though.”
With her little playful prank and her reassurance that her godly powers would protect them, Tarch was feeling surprisingly at ease with going back into the Destron Crags.
“A-alright then! Let’s uh, let’s go!” Tarch would allow the Kai to go first, not only out of divine respect but also to have someone far more confident take the lead. “As long as y-you’re s-sure it’s safe. Should be fine right? A-and I get to finally meet your… teachers? Disciples?” Honestly, Tarch wasn’t sure what Basil and the others counted as. Really the only time he recalled meeting any of them was back on Earth when the hybrid was led to believe that Basil was actually pursuing her. Hopefully, the human wouldn’t hold anything against him for helping Kiko escape. Either way, it was a comforting thought to meet Kiko’s sort of family, and Tarch needed as many comforting thoughts as he could get before going in that infernal place.

Kiko zipped through the rather treacherous narrow passages of the Destron Crags with a deft familiarity that hinted that she had been here for more than a little while by this point. It wasn’t too far to her home, but it was a little bit tucked away. She decided here would be the best spot for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it was pretty isolated and quiet. They weren’t too likely to get uninvited visitors. The locals seemed to avoid this place for whatever reason. Second, Kiko could work on purifying the area of its noxious gas. Somehow, that gas had the tendency to attract ghosts, and, well, ghosts were supposed to go to the afterlife! Kiko turned to look back at Tarch and smiled a bit mischievously. He was kind of cute when he was scared. Hehe!
“Don’t worry! I won’t let anything happen to you. Hehe!”
Nodding, Kiko slowed down just a tad as she thought about how to introduce him to the others. They were sort of like… well, teachers… protectors… family…? Disciples for sure. That was how she usually referred to them. Well, Tarch had already met Basil once. Hehe, it sure had been fun avoiding him. Though, she had made sure to give him an easier time of things for a while after that incident. He was a regular worry wort.
“Yeah! Bravo started baking some cookies for us when he heard you were coming over. They’ll be real good. You like chocolate chip, right? Uh… you actually met Basil. I think he was taking a nap. He, uh, doesn’t get too much sleep. Then there’s Brand. He’s probably training again. He likes to fight the ghosts since they can’t actually die. He’s been a bit sour after Kayen whopped his butt.”
It wasn’t long before they managed their way out of what seemed like a labyrinth of narrow crevices and into a huge underground chamber. Hanging from the ceiling was a spire that - in all honesty - had come out a bit… edgier than Kiko’s tastes. The purple destron mists drifted in little wisps through the massive cavern, some flowing in and out of her tower’s windows. Honestly, it looked a little spooky. Like the keep of some demon from HFIL. She did her best to hide her embarrassment. Maybe Tarch would think it was cool. Even still, she admitted to being a little proud of it.
“Tada! We’re here! What do you think…?”
Letting go of Tarch’s hand, Kiko bounded forward to peer over the edge of the cliff. Yup. There was Brand training away under the tower. Eat, sleep, train. That’s it, that’s all he did these days. Kiko sighed and ran a hand through her fluffy white hair. She gestured down to the purple Hakaijin, trying to hide the exasperation she felt.
“That’s Brand down there. He’s been trying to perfect something he saw Kayen use… something to generate blutz waves. He gets pretty strong when he can get exposed to them. I don’t think it’s been going really well for him.”

Hesitant was a weak word for this. Apprehension was closer. Anxiety was probably the most accurate descriptions of how Tarch felt going back into the purple fog. It was like a snake, slithering up his spine, slowly sinking its fangs into the nape of his neck, then a venom of fear spreading through his veins, bringing a cold shiver along his body. Tarch was left jumping at shadows, clinging ever closer to Kiko. Without even thinking he would find his hand clasping desperately for her ow, his other hand lightly gripping at her sleeve like the scare lost child he was. He could even swear he saw his sister through the smog, giving him an upturned scowl before fading away. Luckily among all of the terror, Kiko seemed to know her way through perfectly, weaving around with no trouble at all. Guess being a goddess does help. Her calm conversation certainly did for Tarch.
“A-aha y-yeah! I like chocolate chip. Especially when they’re still warm and the chips are all m-melty.” Hearing his idolized Queen kicking someone’s butt didn’t hurt either. “Yeah. Ms. Kayen is one tough fighter. Y-y’know she’s teaching me how to use a sword. M-maybe I can tell him a f-few tricks for beating her?”
Thanks to this relaxing chit chat, Tarch would soon find himself out of the thick purple fog, and was now facing what looked like a huge upside down castle. He was absolutely stunned, his mouth agape in a wide-eyed grin. He had to admit though, the castle looked a little more… evil than he was expecting? Either way it was cool as hell, literally by the looks of it.
“Whoa! You live here?! It’s so cool! A little more pointy than I expected though.” Tarch peered down to where Kiko pointed towards a sort of cat like person, that being Brand. She then mentioned something about blutz waves. “Y’know, I actually have a machine that can make blutz waves! Maybe I can show it to him and he can try it out!” Though his hand was no longer gripping Kiko’s sleeve, his other hand was still comfortably wrapped around the kai’s own hand. Unless she took it away herself, Tarch would grow a little red around the ears as he realized what he was doing and slowly break the handshake. “Oh uh, ahaha s-sorry.” Despite his apology, Tarch had to admit he was actually enjoying holding Kiko’s hand. He looked blankly at his own. Could he…? No, they were friends. Good friends. They clicked super easily is all. Besides, it was probably rude to hold a god or goddess’ hand without permission right? But would the two of them… Maybe now wasn’t the time to worry about it. For now Tarch did have a more pressing concern. “Wait… you’re not like and evil god are you. Because as cool as it is, the castle is kinda… well not evil looking but evil lookingish. And from what I’ve seen you’re a good kai. A really good one.” Maybe a little on the nose, but Tarch trusted Kiko enough to believe that this could just be a ironic coincidence. Of course he began tripping over his words, afraid he accidentally insulted the little blue shinjin.

Seeing Tarch all nervous was kind of cute. When he brought up helping Brand with pointers on how to deal with Kayen, Kiko sighed a little bit. He would probably love that, but then he’d steal away Tarch from her. And all that training he was doing got so boring and repetitive. Kiko mumbled something about how Brand would like that under her breath, not particularly wanting Tarch to hear. Fortunately, his reaction to her castle was really satisfying. She allowed herself to puff up a little with pride.
“Yeah, it did come out a little pointy… Uh, Brand would probably like that… You guys can spar if you want… I’ll cheer you on!”
Kiko blinked and looked a bit confused when Tarch suddenly apologized. Oh! Realization struck her like a lightning bolt. They’d been… holding hands. Kiko’s face flushed purple, and she hastily turned away to compose herself. It took a couple deep breaths. Thankfully, none of her disciples had seen that. They might get the wrong idea! Or worse, get the right idea and tease her mercilessly. She couldn’t let that happen. At all costs! Turning back around, her face its usual navy blue to take Tarch’s question with a little more enthusiasm than she intended.
“What? No! I’m gonna be Supreme Kai one day, you know! A-And I’m good… yeah, like you said.”
Kiko could feel the tips of her ears start to burn purple a little, but she fought the feeling. She wasn’t happy that Tarch called her a really good Shinjin! I-It was obvious. Taking flight, she gestured for Tarch to follow her. Sure, it had come out maybe a tiny bit evil looking, b-but! That was… fine! Probably. The inside was much more inviting. Yeah. Her room in particular was… er. She wasn’t going to show Tarch her room.
“So, uh… d-do you want those cookies now or do you wanna meet Brand? It’s up to you! You’re a special guest. I haven’t even shown Kayen yet!”

“Supreme Kai?!” Tarch was stunned. As far as he knew, Kai’s were already god. So how could they possibly become any more divine? What exactly did a supreme god do? How strong was a supreme kai? He would have to remember to ask those later. Besides Kiko already answered the important part. She was indeed a goddess of good despite the intimidating castle. For now, there was a slightly more pressing issue at hand. Did Tarch want to meet Brand and possibly have a little sparring match? Or did he want fresh cookies, still warm and gooey from the oven? A true saiyan dilemma. Food or fight? Tarch decided fresh cookies took precedent in this case, especially since it felt wrong to leave his host at the first sign of training. He could always work his way up to Brand.
“Let’s do the cookies first. After that trip through that place,” Tarch shuddered, “I could use a bite to eat! Then maybe you can show me around a little more before I meet Brand.” Tarch would then follow Kiko wherever she led him next. In all honesty, he was very curious to know whether the inside of the castle matched the jagged exterior. As he walked through, Tarch figured he may as well try to get his first question answered.
“So what exactly is a Supreme Kai? Kai’s are like gods already right? So what’s the supreme part do?”

Bravo’s PL: 5,000 | 15,000
Kiko smirked a little triumphantly at Tarch’s astounded cry. Yes, not too many Shinjin aspired to that position, but she certainly did. It was only right for her to claim a place at the tippy top of all the Kai everywhere! She nodded affirmatively when he chose to eat cookies with her first. That was the correct answer! Flying up and over the chasm filled with Destron gas that Brand was training in, Kiko landed on one of the balconies and headed inside of her fabulous castle. While the exterior was jarringly evil looking, the interior suited Kiko’s personal tastes far more. It looked like the inside of a doll house. There was a lot of pink for one. And a lot of stuffed animals on display. The furniture was pretty dainty and everything screamed warm and inviting. “A Supreme Kai kinda rules over all the other Kai? Um… their job is to look after the whole universe. Some Kai look after parts of galaxies. So they’re like a super god! The most divine even among divine! That’s what I wanna be.”Kiko smiled genuinely at Tarch, hardly containing her excitement or her ambition. It wasn’t too much longer before the scent of freshly baked cookies wafted through the air. Kiko put a little more haste in her step and disappeared around a corner. Around that corner was a quaint and cute looking kitchen. Kiko already had seated herself at the table. A large buff yellow Majin with a pink apron on that said “Hug the Chef” and big oven mitts glanced at Tarch sheepishly. “Bravo! This is my… uh…”What did she call him? Friend? Did gods have mortal friends? Should she call him a disciple? Kiko pondered it over until she just came to a simple conclusion. She would just introduce him! Yeah that’d work. “This is my Tarch! ER! I mean his name is Tarch! C-Clearly.”Kiko felt her face heat up a little. Bravo was looking at her in his usual anxious way, so she figured that he had missed her little slip of the tongue. She glanced at Tarch sidelong to see if he had caught it too. She was just going to die of embarrassment. Bravo turned to face Tarch and gave him a little shy bob of his head. “‘Ello… Tarch. You know the mum?”Keeping himself busy so that he didn’t have to deal with prolonged eye contact, Bravo fretted over the cookies, pulling a second tray from the oven and placing it delicately on a cooling rack.

The whole universe huh? That was insane! Tarch could barely imagine someone ruling over a single planet much less an entire universe. This girl must have been really something if she sought to become a supreme kai. It was only natural though, anyone who could beat the claw game in one try was destined for greatness. Plus she was a kai in general so why not?
Before the hybrid could gush anymore about how cool ruling the whole universe sounded, a sweet aroma flooded his senses. His tail slowly waved into the air as soon he was greeted with a rather burly looking majin and fresh cookies. Tarch was a little uncomfortable at first. His experience with Majins, after all, had been… spotty. On the one hand, there was Bloom. She seemed pretty cool, laid back, and was fun to fight. Then there was the big grey guy. That majin scared the everloving crap out of Tarch. Granted that was mostly because of the sinister man with him. Luckily he wasn’t unlucky enough to meet either of them again. Besides, this one had cookies! How could anyone with cookie be that bad?
Tarch was just about to take a cookie and greet the majin when his entire body froze, the fur on his tail sticking straight up. Did Kiko just say what he thought she said? HER TARCH?!? He’s her what?! What did that mean?! Did she own him? No that was outrageous. No, it sounded more like they were… The teen’s cheeks burned a bright red. His ears burned so hot he was sure he could fry an egg on them.
“HI I’M TARCH!” he shouted mechanically in a too loud voice. Despite his discomfort, Tarch couldn’t help but feel… good? If he was Kiko’s Tarch, would that make her Tarch’s Kiko? Then they would be… dating?! First things first he had to calm down.
“I… sorry! I’m just still a little nervous from this place. I mean! Not this place, this place is cool! I mean the destron cliffs or whatever! But yes I met Kiko on Earth. I showed her around,” he was amazed he stopped himself from saying he took her on a date. How do you even date a girl? It was obvious Tarch wasn’t getting much calmer, so he quickly took a cookie. That did the trick. Like the gooey chocolate chips, his worries started to melt away. “Wow! These are great!”

Bravo flinched away when Tarch raised his voice, not really understand why he was being shouted at. Breathing a silent breath of relief, she thanked herself that Bravo wasn’t the brightest bulb. If it had been Basil, or… Brand. Kiko shuddered to think of what sort of teasing might have resulted of that little slip up. She had to be on her guard against Brand when they went to meet him. Bravo relaxed a little bit and even smiled his tiny smile when Tarch complimented his cookies. Yes! They were getting along! Wait, why was she excited about that?
“I’m gonna go get some milk!”
Hopping down from her seat, Kiko scurried off into the other room to both have a minute to cool down and grab the milk. Bravo watched her go with some anxiety, but there wasn’t much he could do or say to change her mind. The mum got her way. At least, with him. He liked spoiling her just a little bit. Turning his attention back on the boy that Lady Kiko had brought him, he smiled a bit.
“The mum found me on Earth too. I’m from there. She’s real kind. Took a liking to me even though I’m a bit of a bumbler and such… my job’s to protect mum, but… if I’m not around… would you?”
Wondering if that was a bit much to ask, Bravo hastily turned back to his mixing bowl to bashfully stir his dough. After a moment, Kiko reappeared with two glasses of milk and set one down in front of Tarch, hopping into the seat next to him. Seemed like Bravo still had some trouble with new people. Kiko took a cookie and munched down on it, enjoying it as it melted in her mouth.
“Sorry about Bravo, he’s a little shy around new people. Good guy though. Er, I mean… f-for a mortal.”

Tarch liked Bravo, he was like a giant yellow teddy bear. His shyness sort of reminded the teen of himself not too long ago. Not even a year ago, the poor boy would have stuttered and ‘um uh’ his way into trouble. Really Tarch still grew nervous when talking to total strangers, but his time on other planets along with their respective near-death experiences helped him build up his confidence. Said confidence would be somewhat called into question when the yellow majin asked if Tarch would be there to protect Kiko. Of course, Tarch made it a point to protect all of his friends, but with the idea that Kiko could potentially be more caused the hybrid to falter only for a brief moment.
“W-well, yeah! I always protect the people I care about or at least try my very best.” Tarch knew he was young and inexperienced. He knew it was not easy to protect people for someone like himself. If only he could remember that when it really mattered.
Just as he finished his assurance, the blue kai herself came back in, apologizing for Bravo’s shyness. Tarch just shrugged his shoulders. Shyness was nothing new for him.
“Aw heck, it’s no biggie. I’m actually pretty shy too. The only reason I was so brave when we first met was because you were being chased.” Though it took him a second or two, Tarch realized that what he said was in reality not completely true. The saiyan quickly laughed, rubbing the back of his head. “Well, more like you were running away from Basil ehehe.” Speaking of the human, Tarch was very interested in meeting the rest of Kiko’s disciples as well as seeing more of the castle. “So! Can you show me the rest of the castle? I wanna meet Brand and Basil, err, for real this time.”

Blushing with some slight embarrassment as Tarch brought up the whole running away from Basil thing, Kiko rubbed her cheek. That day had turned out pretty good all things considered. She had kept the plush that Tarch had won for her. It was sitting on her bed in her room. It happened to be one of her favorites for no particular reason at all. No reason! Kiko snatched up another cookie and demolished it in her nervousness, slamming down the milk.
“Mm! Yes!”
Kiko perked up again when he mentioned continuing the tour. She set down the now empty glass for Bravo to deal with, hurriedly wiping the milk mustache off her face. Basil was probably down in the library. He had repurposed that room to be a classroom. Gesturing for Tarch to follow, she led him down the nice and pink corridors. The two of them eventually came to a pretty relaxed looking library. It was a combination of Kiko’s personal style, Vegeta style, and Otherworld style. There were couches and floor pillows lining a big central area with a desk and a blackboard with elementary equations on it that looked particularly out of place. There was a big screen with some sort of cartoon playing on it. On one of the couches with a book covering his face was the sleeping form of Basil.
“This is the library! And the classroom I guess. Basil? Hey, wake up! Tarch is here!”
Moving over to the sleeping boy’s side, Kiko nudged his arm with her foot. Basil shot up, the book on his face flying across the room. His brown hair was a messy, sticking up and plastered to one side of his face. He had dark circles under his eyes from what was clearly a lack of sleep. Kiko sighed and crossed her arms. He had been lesson planning on his off day again. Basil relaxed when he saw Kiko beside him and immediately tensed up again when he saw Tarch.
“Ah! Um… hello?”
Quickly fixing his hair, Basil offered Tarch an apologetic smile and a hand to shake.
“Sorry, sorry, you just caught me… um off guard haha…”
“You were lesson planning. On your day off. Again.”
“Er. Yes, Lady Kiko. Sorry. Won’t happen again.”
“Mmhm.”
Kiko just stared at the sheepish Basil, knowing that he would, in fact, do it again the second she wasn’t looking. What a dweeb. What a nerd. But he was her nerd, so she supposed she could let it go as long as he took care of himself. If push came to shove, she would tell Bravo to knock him out cold. Or Brand if Bravo wouldn’t do it.
“So anyway, this is kind of the living room library place. We all get together and watch movies here sometimes. It’s also where Basil forces me to study.”

The library wasn’t quite what Tarch had in mind when he first imagined it. Looking at the castle’s exterior, the saiyan would have assumed that the library would be this massive sprawling maze of bookshelves complete with lanterns or even candles lighting up the place. Then again, fire and paper probably was the worst idea in the world. Still, he expected a very old fashioned library like the Grand Central Library back home. Instead, it was more like the library his cousin Rota showed him. Relaxing, casual and probably not a bad place to nap. Though that last part may have been because Basil was already in the process of doing so.
As the older teen woke, Tarch gladly shook his hand, a sheepish grin coming over him. “Nice to meet you again Basil, for real this time,” Tarch laughed, thinking back to the day he and Kiko were on the run from the human. While that was the only time they ever really met, Basil seemed to be a good person too, though didn’t give him the same Teddy Bear vibe he got from Bravo. Basil seemed to be the very devoted older brother to the godly Kiko.
Speaking of, her mention of studies did raise some question. “Studies? What does a goddess have to learn about?” As far as he was aware, gods and goddesses were omnipotent weren’t they? That said, the few godly people he met were far from all-knowing or even all-powerful. In fact, they all seemed to have as much as he did to learn, albeit about different things. So really his question was still valid, what do divines learn about?

“Nice to meet you too, Tarch,” Basil said with a chuckle. “I hope Kiko hasn’t run you ragged yet. She can be a handful…”
That earned him a sidelong glare from his goddess, but Basil didn’t mind her too much. He smiled when Tarch asked about Kiko’s studies. Lifting up his notebook, he leaned through a couple pages, going over the topics.
“Quite a lot actually if she wants to live in the mortal realms. Math, social studies, science, and so on. She’s actually really quite good at chemistry, though you’ll have to twist her arm to have her finish any of her assignments.”
That earned Basil the dreaded stuck out tongue from Kiko. He found it really cute, so he just stuck out his tongue in kind. Her face got purple with outrage, making Basil chuckle again. Kiko stomped off somewhere in the library, making Basil shake his head and sigh at her.
“Really, she’s not so different than you or I. She can bleed. She can die. And though she’s a smart one, she needs to learn a thing or two about the world.”
Basil shrugged at Tarch.
“Aside from the stuff that you’re learning, Kiko told me that she learned a lot about how Otherworld works and the Kai hierarchies and all sorts of ceremonies and rituals and such. She could tell you more if you can get her to talk about it. It’s pretty interesting stuff. Apparently, the Afterlife is really bureaucratic, haha.”
Before Basil could really go on anymore, Kiko returned with a bundle of books in her arms. Her eyes sparkled with pride as she laid them out on the table before Tarch. They were an assortment of comic books, mostly from different series and in apparently random order. There wasn’t a single first issue on the table. Kiko eyed Tarch with excitement like a puppy waiting to be praised.
“Tada! Ignore Basil and look at my comic book collection! They’re kind of hard to come by on Vegeta, so this is really impressive.”
Basil raised an eyebrow at that. It sounded more like she wanted Tarch to be really impressed than that her collection was impressive. Not able to wait, Kiko snatched up a comic about a magical princess and flipped open to one of the splash art pages. She pointed to it.
“Isn’t this cool?”

Tarch put a hand to his chin as Basil listed off all the things she had to learn. Really it sounded like she just went to school like any other kid. Even more relatable was that it was all done from home. After his incident in elementary school with throwing the bully through a wall, Tarch had to spend most days homeschooled. He did try a few other schools between then and now, but most were not a good fit for a half saiyan ‘freak.’ It wasn’t until he turned twelve that he not only was forced to attend a real school, but he also found one that he loved. Sure it had its fair share of jerks, but overall they were a pretty accepting group. Tarch couldn’t help but laugh as he imagined what it would be like to have Kiko attend the same place. She would drive the teachers nuts.
What really caught Tarch’s attention was Basil’s next comment, however. He had always figured Kiko to be some sort of goddess. She always referred to herself as a Supreme Kai. Yet from what her human disciple said, she sounded more like an ordinary girl with godly powers. Of course, a thirteen-year-old kid had no real concept of his or any other kid’s mortality. As far as he was aware the two of them were already immortal in one way or another. Still, the idea of her or any of his close friends bleeding was a scary one. Especially her.
“Well, if she ever needs some help, History is my best subject so-” Kiko’s Tada did more than cut the teen off mid-sentence. Not wanting to disobey orders, Tarch gave Basil an apologetic shrugs as his attention was turned to her comics. How did she manage to get all these? Vegeta barely had anything from Earth, and most of it was either too common to care about or so old they were hardly relevant. “Aw man! How did you even get these? Heck yeah these are cool!” Tarch scrutinized the art of the princess, a sense of recognition nagging at the back of his mind. “Oh wow. I didn’t even know they had these.
