He'd looked at Tarch got up from his attack. He had hoped that would end the fight fast but guess he had a good idea how strong the boy was now. "Yes, I wanted to explain my reason but also fight to cool you down. I just want to make sure you don't start destroying stuff without reason." Mollusc explained as he got lower pulling both his arms behind him. "I am fine with either. I'll do whatever you want." The boy had wanted to fight earlier, he assumed that had not changed. So he'd keep it going. He didn't attack however as Tarch had lowered his guard. He didn't want to attack him untill he was sure he wanted to keep fighting. Perhaps the boy had cooled down a bit and really didn't want to fight as much. While it'd be a good warm-up for both of them he really didn't want to beat up a kid. Even if Tarch was far stronger then almost anyone he had met.

The teen laughed. This was a new side of the usually gentle boy, surprising even himself. Surprising though it was, Tarch knew he was fighting for someone he looked up to, someone he cared about, and he couldn't just stand and watch again. “Y’know, now that you mention it, I do still have plenty of frustration. Plus you said you wanted to get some training in. So let’s get that fight out of the way. I’ll cool off a bit, and you’ll get some training in. Just a heads up though,” Tarch’s aura flared up like an icy blue flame, his right fist also igniting. “I can’t control my power really well when I get worked up. That should really help you though because I know Ms. Kayen won’t hold back. Besides, if you can’t beat me, there’s no way in hell you’re beating a super saiyan. So as long as you’re ready…” Tarch would shift once more, giving his opponent a chance to prepare himself. This time he wasn’t holding back, and he wouldn’t back off should the Namekian hold still.
In another burst of speed, Tarch dashed over toward Mollusc. He decided to go with one of his favorite opening moves. Just as the hybrid would reach striking range, he’d would disappear, leaving behind an afterimage decoy. Tarch would allow a full second to pass before reappearing exactly where he was before, resuming his charge as if nothing changed. This was a fun trick he used, hoping to fool his opponents into thinking he’d actually end up somewhere else. Instead, Tarch would just end up right where he started, aiming to send his flaming fist barreling towards Mollusc’s shoulder.

Guess they were still fighting. Mollusc nodded in approval of the boys choice. He'd not walk away from this. As the boy said over and over, this would be good training. He'd have to get even stronger to face off with Kayen. The boy aura flared to life and Mollusc own aura flared up in kind. He'd have to fight the boy as seriosuly as he intended to fight Kayen. The boy charged forward and Mollusc waited for him to get close. As he got close Mollusc swung forward but hit thin air. The Afterimage! Mollusc looked down as the boy reappeared with a flaming fist aimed at his shoulder. The fist made an impact with thin air as a stunned Mollusc disspeared with the wind. The boy was not the only one who knew how to do the afterimage. Mollusc reappeared behind the boy swinging a fist right the back of his head in order to send him flying away. "That almost got me but I've seen the afterimage before. Though I have to say. I've never seen it in used quite the way you just did." Mollusc grinned. This was going to be really good for training. He'd rubbed his shoulder. If he had not done the afterimage right when he did that he'd be in a lot of pain right now.

Just as Tarch was ready to land a clean hit, his opponent disappeared from sight, though not before his fist seemed to phase through the namekian. It didn’t take the teen long to realize what had happened. So he wasn’t the only one that liked playing with afterimages then. Tarch could sense Mollusc coming behind him, so he decided to show off a little bit. He’d try and use yet another afterimage to do the same to Mollusc as he did. Unfortunately, Tarch misjudged the timing by a good deal and ended up taking a hit to the back of his head, knocking him forwards followed by a few tumbling afterimages. Well if nothing else he looked kind of cool taking hits right?
In a flurry of flailing phantoms, Tarch managed to flip back to his feet, throwing Mollusc a cocky smirk. “I was never the strongest kid in my class, at least not phsyically. So to make up for it I use my speed. I actually have a few friends who call me the speed king. I like being creative with my afterimages. Speaking of which, Imma try out a new one!” As Tarch finished his brief explanation, he’d charge back towards his opponent.
This time though as he got about halfway there, the half saiyan would appear to split into three people. Though he could split himself into two solid copies, these clones were purely afterimages, meaning two of them were fake. Two of the speed clones would charge to the sides, while the third one remained on his straight path. The hybrid would be extra careful not to give away where he was coming from, but a discerning eye would be able to tell that the Tarch of Mollusc’s left seemed to have a good deal more weight in his movements. Each Tarch would then try to kick the namekian as they drew near, however, only the left Tarch would actually manage to make any contact, assuming his attack his hit at all.

Mollusc slammed his fist down into the boy. Guess he had not been expecting that attack. Though he doubted that trick would work twice. The boy knew he could dodge now so he'd assumed he'd make not make the same mistake. His blows would be more cunning and powerful. Mollusc was on his guard, he didn't want to figure out what it was like taking one of his attacks head-on. Tarch explained that he was good with the afterimage his friends even sometimes called him the speed king. While he had nothing to deal with the afterimage he knew it took energy to use at a high level. He just had to reduce the boy's stamina. It should be simple enough.
Mollusc got low both arms pulled back. However, before he could blast him he seemed to split into three people. Mollusc left foot shifted slightly as he swung at the right one. It was fake though as The real Tarch kicked him. The slid fight grinned in the stone keeping him from flying back. He grinned, "I've never been good at telling what is what. So I'll just take the hit instead." He'd brought both arms back up over his head. He'd swung them down attempting to slam Tarch into the ground with all the power he could muster.

This time the teen was able to hit Mollusc without any issue. His little triple threat maneuver worked wonders, even revealing the Namekian’s apparent trouble in handling attacks such as this. Now though Tarch was wide open for a counter attack. Techniques like those always required a second or two for the young half saiyan to regain his footing. It was those precious moments that a smart opponent could take advantage of in order to land a potentially devastating blow. Devasting though it was not, it was still a very powerful hit. Tarch was knocked to the ground, landing flat on his face and kicking up a small plume of sand. Despite how heavy the slam was, it didn’t hurt nearly as much as Tarch would have thought. Maybe it was him being able to go all out, or perhaps it was because he was now fighting for someone else’s sake. Either way, something was fueling the boy to fight harder than he ever had in a while.
Tarch was able to snap back to his feet after only a brief time in the dirt. He snapped up, leaving a trail of afterimages as he leaped back to a more safe distance. “Not good at telling what is what huh?” he mused out loud, a sneaky grin stretching across his face. “Good to know.” So this fight was going to be an endurance test for Tarch, and a perception test for Mollusc. Would Tarch be able to do enough damage to his opponent before he ran out of steam? Or would Mollusc be able to take enough hits or even adapt to an opponent that likes using tricks before he took too much damage? Only one way to find out.
Still smirking, Tarch shot toward his Namekian opponent like a bullet. At first, he would try to make it seem like he was going for a regular punch before stopping short and dropping to the ground. Then he’d jump back up looking as if he would kick him, then pulling back yet again. Tarch would continue this pattern for a while, slowly gaining speed with each feint. Each time he would get close, pull back, then go again, rinse and repeat at such a speed it would be nearly impossible for an untrained eye to tell where Tarch actually was. Finally when he was sure Mollusc was confused enough, Tarch would send a flaming kick to the Namekian’s side, hoping to send him flying back.

He'd was able to hit Tarch but still if they just taking hits to deal damage he'd not be able to beat Tarch. He would withstand his attack and counter back with his own. Mollusc huffed in frustration. Why did things have to be so hard? He'd just wanted to fight not to have to think too hard about each movement. Yet if he wanted to defeat Kayen he had to start thinking and planning. Each move he made had to have a plan behind it. Mollusc narrowed his eyes as Tarch spoke, guess he'd take advantage of that now. Mollusc arms were brought down to his side as he stared out at Tarch. The boy would attack now he just had to be ready for it and counter.
Tarch moved towards him faster then he expected his movements erratic. First was a punch then he dropped down and then keep doing feint attacks. Mollusc didn't budge. He had long arms if Tarch got into range for a real attack he'd know. Plus he was watching the attack trying to keep up for the one that'd actually hit. He'd followed the movements his feet shifting slightly in the dirt. He was moving fast as hell and Mollusc had a tough time keeping up. His ears flexed up as Tarch moved in for the kill. The flickering of the flames, that was like his first attack. Mollusc spun around as the kick came at him. Mollusc was kicked but soon faded. Once more he pulled his afterimage. Mollusc slid back a few feet grinning but then he began to pat his burning shirt down. He could barely avoid that. "You did a lot of movements. But." He'd point to his ears. "I saw your first strong attack used those flames. Once I heard those I knew there was trouble brewing." Mollusc grinned and charged forward swinging an outstretched arm down at Tarch.

Tarch let out a small frustrated growl. How in the heck did he dodge that one? His movements were perfect. From the quick hops and multiple fake outs, that burning kick should have been right on target. Luckily, Mollusc did explain how he managed to avoid it. The icy blue flames were what gave it away. More than that, he actually heard the attack ignite. That was crazy, and cool! Tarch’s frustration quickly faded back into playful determination. So this guy had super strong hearing huh? Maybe he could pass on a secret or two about that to Tarch. Of course, that would have to wait until after the fight.
Not wanting to be out done in terms of afterimages, Tarch decided to get even fancier. Not only would he dodge his opponent’s charging assault, but he would create multiple copies, each one dodging a different way. The speed clones would all fade back into a single Tarch, now on the side of the green limb. Now it was time to go on the attack again. Maybe now that Mollusc used his afterimage twice, Tarch would be able to land a clean hit finally.
This time he pulled no trick, hoping a straight forward attack would be a surprise in and of itself. He’d start with a simple move. The young half saiyan would try to sweep out Mollusc’s legs. Maybe if he broke his footing, he wouldn’t be able to dodge. Even then if the attack didn’t connect, the big one would be coming up. Tarch’s fist would ignite once more, hoping to strike Mollusc square in the gut either as he was falling, as he was dodging if necessary.

He had avoided his attack agian. Mollusc could not land anything on the boy thanks to his speed. Mollusc grunted his arm pulling back. Now he had to go on the defensive. However, he would be too late as he was swept off his feet. He'd landed on his hands but he took a powerful blow to the gut. Mollusc was sent flying and skidded on his back from the blow. That one had gotten him good. Mollusc got to his feet rubbing his stomach. That one really hurt, he had to be careful. Mollusc spat in the dirt some purple blood dripping onto the ground "Not bad but not good enough." Mollusc charged forward agian and swung his arm out but disspeared at the last second flying high up. "I'll take one of your tricks." Mollusc opened his mouth orange ki forming "Dragon gunfire!" A barrage of small orange ki blasts flew down at Tarch attempted to pelt him with overwhelming force. That should get him back for the attacks he just did.

Finally, Tarch was able to land a heavy hit. The only downside was seeing Mollusc spit up something purple, which the war on Namek taught him was blood. Tarch recoiled slightly, he was hoping this wouldn’t turn into a bloody battle. He shook his head clear though. He was defending someone he looked up to, now was not the time to get squeamish. Instead, he’d just be glad he managed to keep the upper hand for this long. That said, Mollusc had plenty of fight left in him.
He charged toward Tarch, looking to make his own clean hit. The young half saiyan smiled, sure he knew what was coming. He was poised to dodge, ready to pull another trick with his afterimages. Yet it seemed his opponent had other plans. Not just other plans, but one of Tarch’s own plans! The teen would barely have time to look up before being pelted by a large blast. This time it was Tarch’s turn to be sent skidding back.
“Hey that’s my shtick!” he called up in a teasing manner. Honestly, he was a little flattered that someone would use one of his tricks. “Took ya long enough to hit me!” Tarch took a brief moment to dust himself off, feeling a few stinging burns on him, but nothing too serious yet. He’d definitely be feeling sore in the morning though. For now, he was good to keep fighting.
“Guess now I’ll show you my favorite trick.” Tarch followed Mollusc into the sky, still smirking. He decided it was time to break out the big guns in terms of speed tricks. Being in the air made this little maneuver a little more taxing in terms of power, but made it much more effective. Tarch sprung toward Mollusc, only to disappear, nothing new there. However, instead of starting with small feints or short bursts, Tarch would reappear all around the namekian. Top, bottom, left, right, front, back, there would be laughing Tarch’s all around, leaving very little room to move. Then in no time at all, the teen would move in to attack. His hits wouldn’t be the strong, but they would be fast and plentiful. Each time a Tarch would fly right for his opponent, land a hit then instantly rejoin the swarm of speedy clones.

"Yes, it is I found it to be useful." Mollusc grinned. This boy was strong he'd not mind if he took his moves right. Afterall he should expect the same for him. He'd not be suprised if he also tried to use some of his moves agiasnt him. The blow had done some damage that was for sure. Mollusc got back into a stance in the air as Tarch flew up after him. He was going to try to stay on the ground he didn't wanna get Tarch more space but guess he did fly up first. He knew that was nowhere near enough to defeat Tarch. Tarch charged and Mollusc swung for the fences hitting thin air. He should have known the boy had done that many times. He'd looked around for him and he did find him only, he was all around him. Mollusc looked around he could not tell who was who. The wind and speed also made him unable to tell a difference because of his hearing. He was being pelted by blows but he didn't know where Tarch was. Mollusc pulled in his arm and flexed them out agian. An explosive wave of energy cascaded from his body attempting to blast the boy and his fakes away!

Tarch’s speedy flying worked like a charm. If there was one move he perfected above all else it was his aptly named swarm technique, a title he borrowed when his best bug buddy confused it for a literal swarm of saiyans. Just like many others that came before him, Mollusc defended himself exactly how just about everyone else did. Tarch grinned. He had encountered many explosive waves like these in almost all of his previous fights. If he didn’t know how to handle it by now, his many teachers would probably push his face into the dirt.
“Everyone!” he cheered, springing back outside the blast wave. Indeed he would find himself just outside the range of the blast. One of his legs ignited in blue flame, and a sea of Tarch’s would be charging directly toward his opponent. “And I mean everyone, tries that trick! Too bad I-” the teen’s triumphant taunts would be cut short. While he was able to roughly predict where the shock wave would end, he completely misjudged how strong the wave would actually be. As such he charged in far too early, as if running straight into an outstretched fist, the other Tarch’s would fade, while the real thing would feel as though a train barreled into his chest.
"Guess I'm not as good at dealing with that as I thought," Tarch laughed. Luckily this wouldn’t stop him completely, though it did extinguish his icy fire. Normally he would probably be on the ground by now, however, since he was in the air, he was able to readjust rather quickly. Instead of his flashy speedy tricks, Tarch would settle for trying to fly to Mollusc’s back and try for a simple kick, aiming to know him back to the ground. The only problem now was the teen was starting to feel a little sore. The heavy hit from before and his own blunder left Tarch with a very sore abdomen, along with a creeping lack of energy.
