''...Aida, if I may?''
An awkward, demonic tone resonated within the Shinjin's mind as she hummed quietly. ''Yes, Moringa?'' She answered aloud, ripping a piece of bread off of a large loaf, and tossing it into the pond at which she sat. ''What use does feeding these billed creatures have in attaining our goal?'' Moringa asked telepathically. ''Are you trying to get these animals to serve as our minions?''
Aida raised a curious brow at nothing in particular, before tossing another chunk of bread into the water. ''They're called 'ducks', Moringa. And no, I'm simply feeding them because...Well, I don't know? It's fun?'' The Shinjin shrugged nervously, unable to help but smile as the ducks fought over the bread, quacking fiercely.
''Fun?!'' The Scythe yelled into her mind, his tone harsh and bone-chilling. ''Do you think this is some kind of game, Shinjin? Have you forgotten why we came to this damned realm in the first place?!'' Moringa spat at Aida viciously, the scythe in which the Demon was imprisoned shaking and wobbling against the wooden bench. ''D-Don't be so silly, Moringa!'' The Shinjin laughed nervously. ''I haven't felt a single Demonic presence in the area, and b-besides...!-'' Aida quickly jogged her mind, trying to think the perfect excuse. ''I ammmm...S-simply getting acquainted with this realm's wildlife! To help us traverse this planet! Y-yeah.'' She lied through her teeth, forcing a nervous smile as she shakily tossed more bread into the pond.
Luckily, the scythe stopped trembling, and a resound sigh echoed into her mind.
''Ah yes, that makes sense. Carry on, Aida.''
Aida let out a relieved huff, leaning back into the bench and taking in the surroundings. Even Demon Hunters needed a break every now and again.
However, she failed to realize that she was getting some curious, concerned look from passersby. Not that surprising, considering she was seemingly talking to herself, while toting around a big ol' scythe. Weird.
No one had approached her about it yet, though, so she didn't really seem to care.

There may have been few literal demons in South City, but there certainly were demons present. Just a demon of a different sort- a demon who constantly found combat in the most unlikely of places, a demon who created conflict where there need be none. Such was the unfortunate beast that fell upon South City, a wolf let loose to roam the streets.
Unfortunately, the streets utterly failed to contain the wolf. Within hours, swaths of thugs had been dispatched, anyone with a PL that was high enough for Bamboo to care about got a prompt slam across the cranium- not enough to kill, but certainly enough for the authorities to be quite worried about what exactly was going on in the town.
Thus, the young fight-junkie ripped through the streets, her nose pointed towards the sky as she smelt the area for any high energy signals. It wasn't easy- the city smelled just as putrid as you would expect -but eventually, she found one. North of her location- in the middle of a park. Perfect.
She dug her heels into the ground and jumped through the air, slamming straight through the top floor of a skyscraper that was unfortunately placed in her way. Nobody was seriously hurt, miraculously, but a Bamboo-shaped hole was left where the top floor once was. She adjusted her trajectory before she slammed into the water adjacent to Aida, sending ducks and liquids flying. The other park-goers began to panic, running from the scene as Bamboo surfaced from the water.
A duck had gotten caught in her antlers, and she spat out a steady stream of water from her mouth. She stood and hopped out of the pool with incredible agility, landing in front of Aida without as much as a sound. As if to undercut this action, she got down on all fours and shook her body violently, much like a dog would, to get the water out of her clothes and hair. Luckily, the duck caught in her antlers went free, and she stood up.
In one fluid motion, she withdrew the sturdy green pole from her back- a stick of Bamboo -and pointed it at Aida, a sense of reckless abandon clouding her eyes.
"You. Bamboo. Fight! Right now!"

Thaw was rather enjoying the scenery as well of the ducks that were fighting over the bread. His ki was suppressed for the time being and he stood on a high branch tree with a black high collared robe which covered his mouth and everything else downward. While he chuckled to himself at the playfulness of the situation or perhaps they were really fighting for the bread. Thaw didn't know how these creatures operated along with any other creature on this planet. Thaw caught noticed of a particular woman down below who kept talking to "herself" but really was talking to the scythe next to her. Thaw didn't pick this up at all and wondered who the hell she was talking to. With the movement of the scythe, he raised an eyebrow being curious at the idea that either she was moving that, mother nature, or perhaps there was an entity inside the weapon. Again, he wasn't even sure perhaps she was crazy. Then a sudden panic had emerged, Thaw was at the ready as he saw someone had landed in the waters. The ducks and other creatures or items within the waters flew out. As he came to find out who this creature was, he found it quiet strange that it was shaking the water off in all fours.
He had never witness an individual who stood on all fours before, but he has met those who have appeared with nature before. She had addressed a statement to the woman who was talking to herself and stated that she wanted to fight. Thaw sensing both their power levels and it was indeed made clear that the woman sitting down was far weaker in power compared to the woman who wanted to fight her. Thaw immediately stepped in as he jumped off the branch tree and landed in between the both of them. He casually looked over his shoulder at the defenseless woman and then back at the threat at hand.
"Leave her alone. All she did was feed those ducks over there."
With his hands still in his pockets, he revealed his power level to the target, this would be determined if she could sense ki or carried a device with her.

It wasn't long before Aida's peace was disrupted. The Mortal Realms were anything but peaceful, after all. How could she ever think she could have a moment of rest in this place?
It came from the heavens like a comet, slamming into the pond like a warhead. Water blasted upward, the sound of crashing waves overpowering the helpless pained quacks of the ducks. Aida yelped, stumbling backwards over the wooden bench and falling flat on her back. She quickly stood up with widened, panicked eyes, and immediately reached out to her scythe.
''Aida, on your guard! We're being attacked!'' Moringa yelled out. Aida's grip on the scythe's handle tightened, shaky eyes locked onto the rising figure that disrupted her. Aida could sense a powerful Ki-Signature, one that far surpassed Moringa's base state. She shook with fear, expecting some gigantic alien brute to rise from the waters. But that assumption wasn't even remotely accurate. What disrupted her peace was an innocent-looking female, with a look of blissful ignorance in her eyes, as if she had no idea what she was doing wrong.
And strangely? That scared Aida even more.
The woman landed right infront of Aida. The Shinjin held Moringa's blade upwards as a spastic reaction, yet quickly lowered it as the green-haired girl began to shake violently. Aida blinked, her grip on Moringa wavering for a moment. ''W-What?'' Aida muttered confusedly. Earth was weirder than she initially thought.
The lady introduced herself as 'Bamboo', and with very simple language, challenged the Shinjin to a fight. Aida immediately took a step back, sensing nothing Demonic or corrupted about her. ''I don't want to fight you.'' She stated bluntly, raising her scythe defensively. ''Aida, create a diversion and run. We cannot afford to waste ti-...Ah, splendid. Another one.'' Moringa groaned within the Shinjin's mind. A mysterious figure landed right inbetween her and Bamboo, clad in a dark cloak and carrying a Ki signature comparable to her challenger.
''Where the HFIL did you come from!?'' Aida couldn't help but spit out at the figure. All she wanted was to feed some ducks, and now look what happened! ''Nothing about these two is Demonic, Moringa. What should I do?'' Aida asked the Demon. There was a moment of silence within the Shinjin's mind before Moringa answered in a demanding, calm tone. ''Resonate with me.''
Aida nodded to herself, before taking in a deep breath. Her Ki reached out to Moringa's, and the two began to mesh together. Their souls hummed to life within themselves, synchronizing until they beat together rhythmically. Moringa and his wielder had now synced up perfectly, and the Demon could feel his power swelling up. A dark sheen of purple energy began to cover the scythe's blade, and Aida readied herself.
''Begone, the both of you. I don't want any trouble.''

Two of them! Two challengers to take on at once, both of them around her power level! Her entire body shook as a wave of excitement passed through her, her smile laced with delirium and motives beyond the comprehension of the other two present.
I don't want any trouble, All she did was feed those ducks over there. Meaningless, all meaningless, to the wild child of nature. What did it matter what she was doing, what her intentions were? Furthermore, she could only sniff the most recent newcomer once he arrived- which meant that he had a way to suppress his power. Suppress your own power. Just the thought of it made Bamboo violently sick, a blatant disrespect against her principles. She growled at the newcomer upon this realization, glaring at him with eyes revealing nothing save for battle-lust and hatred.
"Bamboo wants trouble." The statement was made with a playful smile, as the pole of bamboo sticking out in front of her pulsed with energy. "If you run, Bamboo will hunt you down for miles and miles and miles. Bamboo will not let you escape. Bamboo will find you and beat you until you fight back. If you're strong, you're strong because you wanna fight! So fight! Fight Bamboo right this instant!"
She turned her pole on the newcomer. "You. You're strong too. Bamboo will fight you as well- both of you will fight. We will fight. We will fight. Fight fight fight fight fight-"
As she chanted, the world around her began to distort as her Ki signature exploded outwards. In the same instance, in one fluid motion, Bamboo was right in front of Aida.
And, in that same moment, a stick of bamboo flew at her head, with not the slightest hint of remorse present on the face of the one who wielded it.

Aida raised a curious, yet concerned brow at the strange lady's statement. Bamboo wanted trouble. Well, that much was obvious, considering she crashed into a pond of ducklings without any reason, possibly slaughtering dozens of them. But why, though? A frown tugged at the edges of the Shinjin's lips- she couldn't understand it. She couldn't understand her.
It was strange, yet despite Bamboo's clear lust for combat and blood, Aida couldn't sense a shred of corruption within her. While the energy she sensed was wild and out of control, it didn't hold any cruelty. Was she addicted to fighting?
''What the hell are you?'' Aida asked with an anxious snarl. But the answer never came.
Ignoring the other fighter present, Bamboo suddenly appeared infront of the Shinjin, the stick she carried pulsating with Ki. It came crashing down on Aida without a moment's notice or the slightest shred of remorse, causing her to yelp in fear! Aida raised Moringa upward with closed eyes in a knee-jerk reaction, blocking Bamboo's pole with a violent 'CLANG!'.
Once she opened her eyes, Aida saw her scythe covered in a hue of deep purple energy, stopping the Nature Lady's attack completely. ''Moringa! Y-You!?'' Aida shouted, yet the Demon within her weapon quickly interjected. ''Save the talking for later, Aida! Create a diversion and run!'' Moringa spoke aloud from within the scythe, his voice carrying an otherwordly echo. Aida immediately bounced back on her feet and turned her back toward Bamboo, sprinting deeper into the city's park. The Shinjin allowed her instincts to take over, a panicked gaze bouncing to the trees that surrounded her densely. Not hesitating, she reeled back Moringa's blade and spun wildly, the large scythe cutting through the plantlife like butter. Branches cracked and leaves fell as a wake of trees came crashing down behind Aida, aiming to slow down Bamboo as she no doubt trailed her. Moringa used [B1]Dark Aura! Both techniques fizzle out. Aida runs! She cuts down a buncha trees to hopefully slow Bamboo down!

'What are you?' would have been a good question if Bamboo had the mental processes to ponder on it.
Unfortunately, she did not- but for what she lacked in mental capacity, she made up for with ferocious battle tenacity and killer instincts. She physically growled when she felt the resistance to her strike- growled in delight, reveled in the shockwave it made all across her body. There was no better feeling in the world- no greater high than that of fighting with your life on the line.
Running was not an option. Bamboo was not being grandiose when she spoke- she would hunt Aida down.
For miles and miles.
But she decided to run, anyways- a valid choice, according to flight or fight instinct. Unfortunately, Bamboo lacked one half of that instinct, and thus, she would pursue her target like her life depended on it. She ran on all fours like a beast, hunting down Aida and expertly bobbing and weaving her way around trees. She was more akin to an attack dog than a person, tracking Aida through scent, baring her fangs like a predator.
Then, the trees fell. Bamboo didn't exactly expect them- she ducked her head back and dodged two, but one knicked her, snapping one of her antlers clean off her head. She felt a rush of adrenaline from the injury- and the adrenaline allowed her to continue her pursuit as if nothing had happened. In fact, Aida had put herself in danger with her move- because Bamboo was not going to let something like that slow her down.
No- instead, she used her right hand to snatch the horn out of the air, and the other hand to propel herself into the air. Catching Aida in her sight, she split a grin that would terrify even the most hardened of men. She brought her arm back- and flung, flung her severed antler directly at Aida's shin with frightening accuracy, hoping to incapacitate her movement.
There was no escape.

Aida heard the rampant sound of her destruction behind her, trees slamming onto the grassy grounds and branches snapping wildly, yet she kept looking forwards. Looking behind would mean her movements stagnated, it would mean that Bamboo could catch up easier. No- she couldn't look back, and so she ran and ran, her heart beating loudly as she breathed rapidly.
However, Aida could still sense her behind her, slowly closing in the distance! ''She's catching up!'' Aida yelled at the Moringa. ''This persistant little...! Aida, cease this running and strike her down! She's far below my true strength!'' The Demon King shouted back, the agitation Bamboo gave him lacing his words with malice. ''But I...-'' ''NOW!''
The Shinjin shut her eyes tightly and grit her teeth, planting her feet strongly into the ground and breathing outward. Her grip on the scythe tightened in fear, before she rapidly turned to where she felt Bamboo. Yet as her eyes fixated on the distance, they began to notice something small zip toward her at a frightening speed. Before Aida could figure out what was happening, it was already too late.
''K-KYAAA!'' Aida yelped, collapsing onto a single knee as she let Moringa drop to the ground. The Shinjin instinctively dove to the side at the sight of Bamboo's sharp antler shooting her way, yet didn't succeed in dodging fully. The antler tore at the side of her leg, cutting a deep gash that effortlessly bore through the Shinjin. Blood splurted out from the wound, her lips trembling as she held in her cries. Her hands balled into fists, clenched tight against the dirt.
Her eyes shut tight, frustrated and afraid. What kind of damned place did she land on?! To think the Mortal Realms were this unforgiving- to be chased down and hunted like some innocent animal. Why!? Why was everything in this universe so damn unfair...!?''
''Aida? Aida! Collect yourself already, she's coming!'' Moringa's demonic tone echoed from the scythe, and Aida began to lessen her quivering. Gritting her teeth, the Shinjin slowly rose from the ground, silent. She reached for Moringa's handle, and raised the scythe as she gripped it. There was a strange look in the girl's eyes- one of utter resentment.
Aida was done running.
''You senseless, bloodthirsty...Son of a bitch! You want to fight, huh!? COME ON THEN!'' The Shinjin snarled in blind fury, her eyes wide open as she bared her teeth.
No actions taken! +1 to Moringa's KP. 3/3 KP on all.

Good- good! The prey had fangs of her own- if she didn’t the hunt would have been meaningless. A little poking and prodding was all it took to get the Shinjin in a mood for a battle- it seemed that the further back Bamboo pressed her, the more she was willing to fight back. Bamboo’s face split into a savage smile at the revelation. Perfect. She was exactly the kind of being Bamboo liked- one whose spirit would get ever fiercer as the battle went on, a spirit whose desperation would let them resort to any tactics necessary to win. Bamboo was not a good judge of character- in fact, she had little concept of what a ‘character’ even was –but, through combat, much about an individual was revealed to her. Bamboo landed a few metres away from the enraged Shiniin, her face and battered body splitting an absolutely menacing shadow. Her bamboo pole trailed on the ground beside her, the scraping sound of wood on pavement permeating the otherwise quiet alley. She held up her free hand- moments later, the veins in said hand began to bulge and warp- fur sprouted from her fingertips, her once-ambiguous nails warping and morphing into gnarled talons, poised to slash and rip whatever they could get their hands on.
“Good, good! Bamboo wants to fight you. You will fight Bamboo back. If you don’t fight with your all…” A dangerout glint flashed through her eyes. “Bamboo will murder you.”
Was it a genuine threat? It was impossible to tell- the way her entire body shuttered with anticipation at the coming struggle didn’t exactly paint an optimistic image, though. Whatever the intent was, it seemed that she wasn’t going to give Aida any more time to ponder over it- she pounced.
In moments, she was on top of the Shinjin, her hand sliding to the centre of the bamboo pole. With practiced skill, the pole was smashed towards Aida- no matter the results of the first strike, Bamboo would then go in for the second. Her other hand grabbed the end of the pole facing away from Aida, and swung it in a broad arc in the opposite side. A two-stage swing.
She laughed all the while.

Aida panted heavily, her heart beating faster as she realized just how furious she had become. Sharp pain coursed upwards through her leg, rippling violently and sending her body into a state of adrenaline unlike she had ever felt. A cold sweat formed on her brow as she took a few steps back, hands trembling. ''You're losing control.'' Moringa stated dryly. ''Tell me something I don't know!'' The Shinjin retorted quickly, her widened eyes locked on Bamboo as she landed right infront of her, a dark shadow cast over her figure. Aida had no idea what she was up against- Bamboo was unlike anything she had ever faced of heard of. Even the Saiyans were more sensible and conscious of their actions. Bamboo, however, was a complete freak of nature. While not corrupt or Demonic, one thing was certain about Bamboo.
She was a mistake.
Aida snarled at her threats, raising Moringa higher. ''Do you even realize what you're doing?!'' She shouted at Bamboo, although in the back of her mind she wasn't expecting to get much of a reaction. The Shinjin scoffed frustratedly, yet forced a grin. ''No matter. You've given me enough reason to kill you. I don't need to worry!'' She said in a casual yet threatening manner, even shrugging a tad playfully.
She raised her scythe high once Bamboo jumped on her without any warning, cackling loudly as she swung her pole. Aida responded with fierce grunts as she swung her weapon opposite to Bamboo's, slamming the weapons together. Loud slams and grunts echoed through the vicinity. With every counter-swing, Aida began yelling louder and fiercer. After Bamboo's initial assault, Aida immediately countered with a wild series of swings of her own.
''...Aida, are you alright? You're...-'' Moringa attempted to speak to her as she swung the weapon, a little concerned for the girl. The Demon's voice was quickly drowned out by Aida's yelling, though. Moringa shrugged inside of his scythe-shaped prison. ''Well, okay then.'' He sighed, figuring he could just let Aida have her fun. Without hesitation, Aida suddenly leapt backwards after a quick vertical swing. She held her scythe far back, and began channeling Moringa's Ki through the blade. Blackened light began to shine from the blade right before Aida swung it forwards, unleashing a crescent ray of burning Ki right toward Bamboo. ''LIGHT'S EDGE!''

With every parry, the battle-addict's happiness grew. This was her greatest pleasure- genuine combat, with both sides ready and poised to kill the other. Well, Bamboo wasn't exactly keen on killing Aida- not yet. She was much more interested in beating her down completely, to the utmost of her ability, and leaving her with a message. Perhaps then, the scythe-wielding pale-skinned girl would be motivated to become stronger, she could harbor a hatred for her. Then, when she had grown in strength, they would fight again.
It was the ultimate joy- the best of both worlds.
Before she could set her sights on the future, though, the present would jolt her back- a scythe swing with energy pooled into it. Aida may have been strong and quick- by all means, a capable fighter. But, Bamboo was no normal fighter. She was a battle-addict. She was a monster.
With bullet like speed, Bamboo propelled her pole upwards. In the same fluid motion, she bent her knees back- the scythe passed through the newly-created gap with a whir, failing to touch Bamboo or her weapon of choice. Using that same blinding speed, her hand shot upwards, and gripped the stiff wooden pole.
The pole was then slammed downwards, into the ground. Bamboo's foot kicked off- guided by the bamboo pole, her body rotated around it once, building up speed. As it approached it's starting point, two feet stuck out- two clawed feet, aiming to slam into Aida's chest with the force of a killer roundhouse kick.

The merged, destructive Ki of Aida and Moringa hurled itself through the air, hissing violently as it threatened to tear into that monster’s very flesh. Her muscles remained clenched as she fell back to the ground, keeping a close eye on the crescent energy.
As Aida touched the grassy grounds however, her eyes widened in shock! Bamboo had swerved over the attack like it was nothing, dodging with frightening agility. The Light’s Edge barreled past her, continuing to screech violently before cutting through several trees behind them, until it eventually evaporated completely.
Taken back by how quickly Bamboo managed to turn the tides, Aida couldn’t bring herself to react in time, only managing to yank Moringa close to her chest right before Bamboo’s clawed feet slammed into the handle. A dark grunt escaped the scythe as Aida was hurled backwards. The Shinjin planted her feet into the dirt, grinding to a quick halt as she panted.
''This one’s quite feisty!'' Moringa cackled enthusiastically. The Demon was admittedly excited at seeing someone as battle-crazed and violent as her, it was like he was looking at his bloodthirsty lackeys of old! ''Why not keep her as a pet? I quite like this one.'' The scythe snorted, humming questioningly toward the young Kai. ''Absolutely not! We’re ending her!'' Aida screamed back at her weapon, the fire in her eyes carving into Bamboo’s.
''You’re just no fun, Aida.''
The Shinjin simply ignored the scythe, and let out a violent roar as she charged forward, taking powerful steps as she reeled her weapon back. Aida swung widely at the freak of nature, attempting a fierce horizontal cut aimed at her midsection. Yet she didn’t stop, no, this time Aida was on the offensive! She utilized the momentum her swing had created to spin, and attempt another wide slash. And again, and again! A whirlwind of swings began to unleash itself against Bamboo, each spin more violent and destructive than the last!
After her rampant flurry of attacks, Aida suddenly grinded herself to a halt by jamming Moringa’s blade into the dirt below. The Kai scraped her scythe through the ground, before yanking the blade upwards to attack with a fierce slash from below!
Moringa takes the Bamboo Blitz in full, and suffers around 32%~ damage! Moringa regains 1 KP! Aida’s KP: 3/3 Moringa’s KP: 3/3

|Getting Acquainted| - Bamboo's PL: 170,000
Was it bad sportsmanship to thrash your opponent so brutally? Bamboo wasn't certain- she was no philosopher, nor was she smart, even, but it was the question that came to her mind as Aida and Moringa relentlessly assaulted her. There was something missing from their swings- even as they tore through Bamboo's left arm, which she was using to dodge, she felt little excitement from being put in the back foot. It was lacking something. Something important.
Was it determination? Fighting spirit? No, not quite. Fighting spirit could only get you so far, staying determined offered nothing but a longer fight. A longer fight wasn't always a better fight, no- sometimes, the longer a fight got, the more boring it got. When it boiled down to it, the enjoyment the battle-maniac got out of her battles was a science, a formula- there were variables to account for, little stipulations you needed to bear in mind in order to get the correct answer. There was always a solution on how to make a fight better- it was only a matter of figuring out what it was.
But, for the lack of book smarts she possessed, Bamboo did know this formula. She knew it well. What was the issue, here? Well, both of the combatants- they were too even. You know what a fair fight promoted? Cowardice, elaborate strategies to outwit your foe, the type of dumb tactical nonsense that put Bamboo to sleep. Boring! A fight like that was boring. Nothing would be gained by a fight like that.
No, Bamboo was after something much more palpable, much more fun.
Bamboo wanted to see desperation.
She wanted to witness the moment inward frustration exploded into a violent outburst, she wanted to feel the brunt force of their anger, of their rage, to feel their blows like it was the last thing they would ever do with their lives. She wanted to see them squirm, she wanted to see them struggle, thoughtless, as they dealt their whole hand on the table, out of options. She wanted to corner them until they had no where left to run and collapsed of exhaustion.
Aida? She wasn't giving her that kind of thrill.
Luckily, that could always be arranged.
Power burst from Bamboo's body, cracking the streets below her. The final, great swing from Aida was taken, directly across Bamboo's chest- but, as soon as the swipe landed, the scar it created dissipated, healed and regenerated by the Namekian DNA floating within her body. Of course, it left her rather tired, but no exhaustion could ever quell this power trip. No drowsiness could ever dispel the ecstasy of kicking a face in, over and over and over again.
Bamboo's hand, made quicker by her increase in power, slammed into Aida's throat, aiming to slam her body into the wall behind her. Was she successful, a crater would break where the impact landed. Her face crept closer inwards, a look of absolute menace clouding her face. "Bamboo didn't stutter." She whispered, deadly serious. "If you don't hit-" Her voice flared in anger. "-with all you have, you are dead." Bamboo sneered into Aida's face. "...Your arm. If your next hit isn't good. Bamboo will break your arm." After that, your leg."
She peered into Aida's face... before abruptly dropping her neck and hopping backwards a bound, waiting with heavy breath for Aida's next move.
Entered x2T- Evergreen! From being at 2/3 KP, Bamboo takes 33% damage, which she regens using her Namekian trait (along with the other damage Aida dealt to her for flavor!)

Aida had been overcome with an emotion entirely foreign to her: Wrath.
Her peaceful life in the Upper Worlds had pampered the Shinjin to ridiculous degrees. In over 200 years of her life, she had never faced true conflict. Aida had never been in a proper battle, was never threatened, never truly hurt, even. The sharp pain she felt course through her leg, the sound of blood rushing through her ears, the ceaseless adrenaline she felt...
It felt foreign. It felt wrong. It felt intoxicating.
The Shinjin wasn't even sure of her own thoughts at this point. Much of it had been overtaken by this intoxicating sense of bloodlust. Had she any sense of her actions right now, Aida would freeze in terror at her own longing for violence. There she stood, a divine being that was supposed to represent purity and pacifism, out for blood against an unknown opponent.
This was all her fault! It had to have been, she left Aida with no other choice! The young Kai had been cornered, forced into a battle she never wanted to be a part of. What other option did she have? To lay down Moringa and be struck down mercilessly?! This freak of nature said it herself, her childlike innocence chilling.
'If you don't fight with your all, Bamboo will murder you.'
...So that is what she would do.
Her final swing pierced Bamboo's skin and flesh, gutting her chest vertically and painting Moringa's edge in her blood. It splattered across the forest grounds, some dripping onto Aida's face and clothing. She glared through the shower of Bamboo's blood, grinning coldly.
Proudly, Aida lowered her guard as she began to chuckle under her breath. That blow seemed critical, and with all that damage, Bamboo would surely fall...-
But she didn't. The scar healed almost immediately.
Aida gasped verbally, but before she could even begin to raise her guard, the freak of nature reached out and grabbed her by the throat in a sudden surge of power. The Shinjin gasped for air as she was hoisted upwards, tears leaking from her eyes as she flailed around desperately. The grip on her scythe loosened against her will, until the weapon dropped to the ground with a dull thud. In a panic, Aida reached for Bamboo's grip and tried to pull herself free, but the difference in power was staggering.
Her tear-stained eyes looked down at Bamboo, wide with fear. Aida didn't respond to her threats, simply freezing up in fear even moreso as she desperately gasped for air. Her grip on Bamboo's wrist tightened and tightened as her eyes shut, leaking out tears that she couldn't hold in.
Why?! Why was she forced to do this...!?
And thus, Aida was dropped to the ground. She fell flat on her backside, coughing and gasping frantically as she wiped the tears from her eyes. With her other hand, she hurriedly patted the ground next to her to try and find Moringa. Once she did, she grasped the Demon's handle tightly, and tried to rise up.
But...She couldn't.
Aida's eyes suddenly widened, lifelessly. Strange wisps of energy began to float around the Shinjin as her tears ceased. Her breathing ceased.
''You seem to be in trouble, Aida.'' Moringa spoke suddenly, his voice booming and dark. ''Allow me.''
With that sudden announcement, power surged within Aida's body as dark energy was cast from her eyes. Demonic Ki swirled around her, cracking the concrete around her as she was lifted into the air like a puppet. Shadowy tendrils lashed out from the Demonic weapon, wrapping around Aida's arm and holding tightly. As the Shinjin was set down to the ground, her eyes dimmed, now a fiery red.
''Your ruthlessness is admirable, Bamboo. What a shame it is that you failed to realize who your true enemy here is.'' The duo spoke, their voiced morphed and twisted.
A sickening, malicious grin stretched on Aida's lips, tugging at the corners of her mouth until her fangs bared completely. A pulsating aura of purple had spread around her figure, licks of Ki reaching upward before the evaporated into the air.
The Demon within the scythe had taken total control over Aida's frail body. Their combined power had amplified immensely, at the cost of the girl's free will.
''She is nothing but a puppet, and I am her master. Now, Bamboo...-'' The Demon paused, before lashing out with the scythe. Moringa pulled it back, spinning it across the palm of Aida's hand with terrifying aptitude for the weapon. He suddenly sunk into a battle stance that far surpassed Aida's natural skill.
A confident smirk crossed their features, and with a simple flick of Aida's head, Bamboo was motioned to engage.
''Come.''
