Zhalla's PL: 1,000
The sun was steadily making its way higher up into the sky as the early morning began it's crawl towards midday, while most would still be asleep or only just rising, Zhalla had been up for a couple hours now, the first hour was spent making sure the street kids she looked after were safe and sound. The rest of the time she'd been up for was spent searching for a suitable place to order a big breakfast from, for both herself and the kids. Not all places were open yet and others were far too expensive to cover the amount she'd need to get to fill all the mouths that needed feeding. It was a hard choice to try and pick out most mornings, especially when different places opened earlier on specific days and not others, but it was a choice she needed to decide on soon if she wanted to have something for the kids to wake up to. After some more driving along on her motorbike, one place eventually caught her eye long enough to make her decide to stop and park. Though it mostly caught her eye because the logo was pretty punchy looking, she hoped its prices weren't punching high as well. Raising herself up off her bike, Zhalla would slip her helmet off, letting her hair bounce freely into place before then removing her leather gloves as well, putting them inside the helmet as she tucked it under one arm. Making sure her wallet and the bike's keys were in her black leathery latex pant pockets, she'd then decide to finally head inside the establishment to get a better look at the prices and the menu in general. Punchin' Pancakes sounded like a perfect place to treat the kids to for today's breakfast, Friday was always the special day food wise afterall.

|| Nero’s PL: 17 ||
Once again, Nero had gotten a reliable babysitter for little Pankaa— and told them that if anything went wrong then they should call him immediately so that he could give any advice or beeline his way back home. Thankfully, all of Nero’s employers were understanding of his current situation, especially the CEO of Punchin’ Pancakes since he had done so much good for the business ever since he was employed.
Speaking of, Nero was on the morning shift at the main branch of Punchin’ Pancakes in Central City. Even if he was a punctual man, he was given leeway to be slightly late, but he didn’t slack off because of it. He had pride in his work ethic and he was going to stick by it. In the end he was just fashionably late by around two minutes instead of the expected hour. So, he and his fellow co-workers got everything set up neatly and efficiently for the morning rush. Everything was as it should be! Nero took his position as the main counter manager where he would process orders and man the gelato area.
Soon enough, customers rolled on in, made orders, enjoyed their time and went on their merry way. It never got old for Nero, he was glad he could make people happy and give them something to look forward to. At this point Nero knew every regular customer that came through those doors, easily anticipating their orders should they ask for the usual go to.
Eventually, a brand new face entered the building. They were easy to figure out for a few reasons, chief among them that they looked like they weren’t at all familiar with this place. Luckily, there wasn’t that big of a line at the counter since the team was working excellently. Between sorting the last order, Nero waved to try and get the newcomer’s attention so that she could navigate a little easier.

It wasn't long after entering that Zhalla noticed she was being waved at by one of the employee's, raising an eyebrow for a moment as she was rather surprised by the gesture at first but she still took it up and wandered on over to Nero, letting him finish up the order he'd been doing before she rested her hip against the customer side of the counter, setting her left elbow on the counter top at the same time, her helmet and gloves still under her right arm. "I'm afraid I don't have an order all set to rattle off to you just yet, if that's what I was called over for" She'd look to Nero for a moment, her eyes giving him the once over before going back to the menu. "Since I'm here though, reckon you could help me pick out somethin'?"
She seemed to read the menu over a few times, frowning one eyebrow down a little more each time she did, they all sounded nice- Some a bit weird but they were on a part of the menu that suggested such, she ruled off those ones for now thinking it'd be better to get the kids something that they'd probably all enjoy for sure. "Heh, there's a lot here to try, isn't there?" She'd move her left arm to rest against her hip instead, taking a firmer stance as she tried to think over what to get, something nice, but not too sweet. "I've got a bunch'a kids to bring back breakfast for at a shelter, do you have like, any breakfast bundles or anything like that? I'd love to get them something sorta sweet an special for today but not too sweet cause it's still for breakfast." She'd offer the other Saiyan a strong smile, "Got anything that'd cover all o' that for me?"

“Hello! Welcome to Punchin’ Pancakes.” Nero greeted the newcomer cheerfully as she properly approached. He let her speak first though, and while he didn’t expect her to have any order ready, he smiled. He was oddly happy that she noticed how things were working. Since she asked for help, Nero nodded. “I can tell that you’re new around here, and I figured that you looked a bit lost, so I was thinking I could lend you a hand if you wanted, yeah.”
For convenience, Nero brought out a one of the smaller menus from under the counter that were usually positioned on the tables around the establishment and offered it to the Saiyan woman. She’d have an easier time looking through that than craning her neck around to look at the big screens and such. “Yup, this is our main franchise building so it has everything. Every single item we’ve ever sold is on the menu.” Even the more extravagant specials; such as ‘pizza’ pancakes, which were just giant pancakes with various toppings, subsequently cut like a pizza would be.
Hearing the situation from the woman, Nero was immediately all the more intrigued. Someone coming out to get food for a group of orphans? Now that was a kindhearted deed he could get behind! “Oh, well I’ll be glad to help!” Nero tapped his chin in thought, how could this be solved?. “We do indeed have a few breakfast bundles, the majority of which fit what you’ve asked for. So, how many kiddos are we aiming to get fed? I’ll know just what to suggest if I get a rough estimate.” He said, returning a smile easily just as strong as the one given to him.“Also, if you end up needing any help transporting stuff, I can do that too.”

Zhalla smiled lightly at being welcomed in the way she was by Nero, but her smile quickly dropped a little when he said she was looking a bit lost, "That easy to tell, huh?" She would huff lightly but her smile soon returned. Getting a bit of help here and there wasn't a bad thing, something she wasn't exactly the most used to at this age anymore, sure, but not bad and certainly not unwelcome. "I suppose that is part of your job too, ain't it?"
When offered a smaller menu she would accept it a little slowly, looking between Nero and the menu first before then taking it in her hands. It certainly was better then trying to check the screens since it was up close and she could sift through it as she pleased. Their main building huh? She hoped that didn't mean it was more expensive as well given that fact, but it didn't seem to be. "Heh, that's uh, that's a lot to pick from.. Hmmm..." She'd bite her lower lip and frown lightly as she went through the menu. Bigger menu sure did make choosing something harder! Especially when so many things on the menu sounded so good, she'd have to try some of these herself at some point.
Zhalla looked pretty relieved hearing Nero would be happy to help after hearing her case, though she tried not to look too relieved. When he asked how many kids number wise were they looking at to be fed, the Saiyan women took a moment to count in her head, she had to keep in mind who was there today, since sometimes conditions changed for some of the kids and they were able to find another home for themselves or the like. "Just under 30, give or take, but 30 or so would be a safe number to go with to make sure everyone gets a bite" When he then said the part about helping with transporting stuff, she glanced back to her bike waiting for her outside, before then looking back to Nero. She shouldn't risk having the pancakes ruined before she even made it back. ".. Are you sure about that? I mean, it'd be really nice to have some help taking it all back for the kids but, I know you've probably got a lot of stuff you need to do here, I wouldn't want to take you away from that just to help lil old me carry back a bunch of pancakes" She'd smile though and for a minute looked like she was about to go for a friendly punch to Nero's shoulder but seemed to think in the end that it'd be best to not do that to a guy she didn't fully know yet. He had offered her a fair bit of help now though and it was appreciated, that was for sure. "So long as it's okay for you and you wont get in any trouble for doing it by your boss or something, I'd love some help, this is awfully kind of you to offer either way"

“Well, yeah. You’re pretty-” Nero took a second to sort out a bit of a hiccup that built up. “Pretty obviously out of place.” He then realized that his momentary pause could cause some manner of awkwardness, and he wasn’t meaning to be rude! “You’re genuinely pretty also.” Nero added, confidently and in a friendly manner. There was nothing bad about being straight up with people now was there? “But yeah, I get to know regular faces. As soon as a new one shows up, I can tell.” It was said that Nero had a knack for this sort of thing— as if he was the best among his co-workers at recognizing faces.
Waiting patiently for the lady to look through the menu, Nero idly tapped the counter. “It be like that sometimes. If you get stuck on anything just ask me about it.”
As for the amount of mouths to be fed, Nero was somewhat stunned. Thirty kids? Sheesh, considerably more than the one extra that he himself was taking care of until further notice. It didn’t take very long for Nero to figure out a suggestion after a short bit of mental mathematics. “Right, so approximately thirty, you’d want three large family packs and one small family pack. That should account for roughly thirty-three people.”
Helping out with getting the food somewhere shouldn’t be a problem— the franchise did deliveries, not during breakfast hours but still. “Yeah, it’ll be okay. I’m actually on an hour break in about twenty minutes, it should take just about that long to get everything ready.” Nero shrugged, honestly thinking it wasn’t that big of a deal. “Gives me something to do rather than just sit in the break room.”

When Nero paused the way he did, on that specific spot of his sentence, the Saiyan women found herself feeling a bit of warmth come to her face as she raised an eyebrow at the other Saiyan. She let him continue though, showing that he ultimately meant to say something else and was just interrupted by a hiccup. He followed this up though by saying she was also genuinely pretty, or at least he seemed to think so, "Is that so?" She'd ask as her eyebrow arched up again at the male Saiyan, her hands moving back to rest on her hips. He even said it with confidence despite the potential awkwardness it could've brought, her expression seemed to change because of this instead to a flattered smile of sorts, "Well I appreciate the honesty and confidence you got there, Nero" She'd picked up his name from his work name tag obviously, having had plenty of time to do so at this point. She felt rude to know his name and not vice versa though, so she made a mental note to tell him when a good chance for it came. "You're not so bad yourself by the way" Was that a wink? Surely not.
She'd laugh lightly after mentioning the thirty kids part, "Got any kids of your own at home?" She'd ask, her tail flicking behind her. He began to work out the best size order to go with, eventually settling on three large family packs and one small one. "Right, sounds good, now to pick a type of pancake.." She'd look at the menu again before shaking her head, "Can I like, just get a mix of a bunch of your kid-friendly flavours in those family packs? No peanuts though, a few of the kids are allergic, but anything aside from that would be fine, it's Friday and I'd love to just treat them all, yanno?"
Hearing he would be on his break soon and would be using that time to do the deliveries with her to help out made her feel... Oddly rather 'soft' Most would use their break time to treat themselves, but Nero was using his to treat others. "That's- That's really sweet of you-" He said it'd give him more to do then sit in the break room but still, it was his time he was using to spend on others. Zhalla this time, would give him a light bop on the shoulder with a fist, frowning lightly, "You're still using time for you to help out someone else, it's a big deal to those kids" He might not think it was a big deal, but it was to her, "They'd love to meet someone new who's nice for once" She'd smile lightly before holding her hand out for a shake instead, "My name's Zhalla by the way, it's a pleasure to meet you, if you're for sure certain on the helping with delivering it business, then I'd be happy to accept, suppose I better pay for that order first though huh? Care to set me up for that?"

“Huh?” Nero knew what he said, and didn’t think it weird. “Yeah. If someone is good lookin’ there’s no shame in saying so is there?” Chalk it up to some manner of innate confidence, but most Saiyans don’t exactly mince words. Even someone so far removed from most other Saiyan traits such as Nero had his obviously Saiyan mannerisms. He chuckled when the compliment was returned in full. “Ayyy well, if I’ve got any Saiyan traits besides a tail it would probably be my totes boundless confidence.”
Tallying up the prices for the amount of being ordered, Nero actually got somewhat excited when the Saiyan woman asked if he had any kids of his own. “Nnnot exactly. I don’t have kids of my own, but I’m currently looking after a little Avali kid that I rescued.” As he spoke, his smile broadened. “They’re a good kid. They’ve got a tenacious spirit, I’d say. I’m proud of them.”
Nero nodded, and swiftly selected a healthy and balanced selection of various pancakes from the drop-down menu on his main screen while making sure to completely avoid anything with even the slightest trace of peanuts. “You’ve got it.” He said, double and triple checking everything to make absolutely sure he did exactly as was requested. With that, the order was placed, easy as pie!
Apparently it was a surprise that Nero was being so welcoming, he almost forgot that he was unique in how he acted and that some people might be stunned. “Heheh, no worries. Like I said, I’m happy to help.” He said, accepting the handshake with a strong and confident grip. “Same to you, it’s a pleasure! That comes down tooooo 4000 zeni.” After the payment was made, Nero sent the order off— it took as long as he said it would, and by that time he was on break.
Since he was going to help with transporting the food, he just brought it along from where it was being repaired in the kitchen area. “Alrighty, here we go. Once we sort out who takes care of what, lead the way.”

Zhalla would puff one of her cheeks up lightly for a moment while her eyebrow was still raised, he sure did have a fair share of guts she would give him that, complimenting someone this way while on the job. It was rather nice talking to another Saiyan again. "Boundless confidence for sure, among other things" She was of course meaning the dark hair and eyes he had with that. Before he brought it up, she hadn't noticed he even had a tail, probably partly because he was behind a counter which made it hard to see anyway. "And I don't see any shame in saying so, but I honestly wasn't expecting a side of flirting with my breakfast" That time, it was a for sure wink, accompanied by a bit of a confident grin as well.
When Nero explained that while he didn't exactly have a kid of his own, he was looking after one that he rescued, "An Avali?" She questioned, but she found herself feeling 'soft' again about the rescued part and how he was proud of them. "Well I'm sure they're in good hands with you, if you dont mind me asking, how did you rescue them?" She had, had to do the same herself with the kids she looked after and each one had a different story, even she had her own one but that was years ago. "How long have you been looking after them also? I can't say I really know what an Avali is, what are they like?"
With the order in place and the price set, Zhalla was glad it didn't go over her limit for Friday specials, "You'll probably see me in here again, that's a fair price for the amount I'm getting and I know those kids would love to try more of the flavours, would you mind if I took back a smaller menu to let them take a look at? Next time I can get specifics in the order" She smiled when he accepted the handshake too, giving his hand a firm shake as well. After that all she had to do was wait a little for the order to be finished and ready to deliver, which it was by the time Nero had specified.
When he came back with the order Zhalla stood back up straight and wandered over to help with carrying. "How about we go halves? I can fit a fair amount in my bike bag, the rest are all yours to sort in anyway you feel comfortable to deliver them like" She'd reach out and gently try to take half of the stack Nero had. Letting her tail hold her gloves and helmet instead, "Think you can follow my lead while I'm on the bike? Or should we deliver it a different way, I dont mind if I have to come back and get the bike if need be.

“I dunno, I’m pretty sure its just the confidence.” Nero gave a lackadaisical flex of one arm. “Totally not muscles too, mhm. Yuuup.” He added, barely putting any effort in hiding any playful sarcasm. Nero had defined muscles given his background, sure, but he wasn’t a show-off. “I don’t blame you. I wouldn’t have expected it if I was in your position, but I’m told that I’m full of surprises.” Oh, so he wasn’t denying it? Or if he was, he was doing a shit job of it.
“Yeah, Avali. They’re not a common species to see on planets that aren’t naturally very cold.” As for the story, Nero rolled his shoulders in contemplation. “I’ve been looking after them for nearly a week. Alsoooo, it would take a while to explain everything. I’ll tell you about it when we’re done with all this, yeah?”
Once more, Nero’s excellent skills landed another potential recurring customer! “Well, I’m glad to hear that! This place prides itself on great products at affordable prices so, yanno, on point n’ stuff.” Nero thought for a moment when Zhalla expressed the desire to take a menu home. “Better yet... D’you have a phone? Check the back of that menu I gave you. There’s a code you can scan to get an app for your phone that has all that info in it already— and you can look at stuff by branch too, its amazing stuff.”
Eventually it came time to sort out how things were getting transported. “Oh, I can take my hoverbike too— it has a special attachment that can carry two of the big boxes snug and easy, no problem!” Nero said with a smile. “That’d leave you with the other two, you think your bike’s storage thing fit that much?” He inquired, slowly and carefully handing over one of the large boxes and the small one.

Zhalla couldn't help but to give off a sort of half-snort, half giggle sort of sound when Nero flexed one arm and put on some playful sarcasm, she was quick to cover it up though and shake her head. She wasn't one to giggle. He for sure didn't even seem to deny it either, saying he was told he was full of surprises. Zhalla wasn't one to be "shown-off" to and not react as well, scoffing lightly as she became itching to flex an arm back at the other Saiyan. "You can talk the talk all you'd like~ If you really mean those flirts, you'd walk the walk as well" She'd grin, never beyond a playful fight every now and then, her eyes seemed to gleam lightly at even the slightest chance of a rumble, "Everyone's got some form of muscle, if you actually want to impress, fight me, when you're off work though, of course" She'd glance aside and smirk slightly before looking back to him, "Unless if you're too chicken, pancake boy" She was of course being playful about it and he didn't actually have to fight if he didn't want to, but like hell she was going to let him flex and flirt without a fight.
When he explained that Avali weren't a species commonly found on not naturally cold planets, she took a moment to actually notice the temperature today, it wasn't overly hot but it wasn't cold either. "That's.. Well, rather concerning, I hope they were managing the temperature alright when you found them" Her gut told her otherwise but her heart hoped for better. At least they were okay now by the sounds of it, if Nero knew they needed colder climates, he probably was doing what he could to cater to that for the Avali child. "Yeah, sounds good! It's awful sweet of you though, especially considering the temperature thing, I bet they're a handful but a very worth it handful at that"
Prides itself on great products and affordable prices? Even more reason to become a recurring customer honestly. "And I'm glad to hear that" She'd say honestly. When asked if she had a phone she paused for a moment before reaching for her back pocket, pulling out an older modeled phone, but it should still do the trick, or at least she hoped it would. Zhalla would nod to Nero and checked the back of the menu, following along with what he said, "Huh, neat" She'd give him a thankful nod "I'm sure I'll come back to this more then other branches though, but it's good for just in case"
Hearing he'd take a hoverbike she smiled, soon enough they had a plan of how to transport it all sorted. "It sure can, no problem" She'd take careful hold of the one large box and the small one that he handed over, before then turning to head out the front door again, "You go get your hover bike ready and packed while I pack these into mine, I'll wait for you out the front, sound good?" She'd ask and give him time to answer before she'd then use her back and tail to open the door to avoid bumping the boxes. "If you need a hand just gimme a yell!" With that she'd head out and pack the pancake boxes up into her bike's storage box, making sure it was safely secured to the back of the bike before she got out her keys and slipped her gloves and helmet back on, doing it up as she waited for Nero to be ready as well.

Even though he wasn’t being particularly serious with his showing off, Nero was actually having fun being a little cheeky. It took Nero a moment to figure out what exactly Zhalla was saying— he wasn’t sure if she was meaning she was up for a sparring match or something similar until she actually spelled it out for him. “Ahh, I’m not all that much, really—” Nero chuckled; he wasn’t a fighter, not anymore... “But I’m not a chicken. Who knows, i might take you up on the offer of a match.” That didn’t mean he can’t be spontaneous and indulge in some of his Saiyan instinct. If anything, it would keep his inner fighting spirit in check for a while.
“Like I said, its.. A long story, the point is they’re safe and sound now. That is the most important part.” Nero didn’t want to directly specify the condition of the Avali when he found them, but it was an easy enough guess to make. “Oh, sure— a handful. Almost literally, and mean that. They’re really small, a cute lil’ thing.” He smiled hearing Zhalla’s honest praise. He would’ve said it wasn’t that big a deal but he knew deep down that it kind of was. Not many would put the life of something small, helpless and completely unrelated to them ahead of their own life. It took a special sort of person to do that.
“I’m glad to have a new regular around, regardless of the branch you end up going to frequently.” Nero nodded, allowing Zhalla to sort out getting the menu loaded into her phone.
“Awesome,” Nero stuck around just to make sure Zhalla got everything ready to set up before heading out the door as well— he held the door open, both for Zhalla and other people going in or out. “Yup, that sounds good, I won’t be long.” He added as he turned to go get to his vehicle. He was used to transporting all sorts of things at this point so it didn’t take him long at all to set everything up, even with the double and triple checks that he did to ensure everything was in order.
Tying his hair back, Nero put his own gloves on as well as an old looking half helmet. In fact, all of his is gear was a pretty old— he had riding goggles on hand rather than a full visor. Soon enough he made his way over to Zhalla. “Heyo, I’m ready to roll!” Nero announced with gusto, bringing his goggles down to cover his eyes.

Zhalla seemed to become slightly disappointed at Nero's response and it showed. Her lower lip stuck out a little more and her gaze was cast aside. He'd declined her offer, his chuckled response suggesting he probably wasn't even being serious with what he'd said before, or at least she thought so. He followed this up with an odd maybe though that made her somewhat scowl lightly as she raised an eyebrow at him. Was he playing hard to get? With her? She wouldn't be having any of that. "You sure squabble a bit like a chicken" She would huff in a way that made it rather hard to tell if she meant it sarcastically or humorously, either way she shrugged and brought up a hand to do a waving motion, "It's cool, don't worry about it" She wasn't really sure as to why this seemed to disappoint her to this extent, maybe she was hoping he would actually take up her offer, for the fight and for other reasons, but she shouldn't be surprised, rarely did anyone in his position take her up on it. Words were nice but they'd become hollow with nothing to back them up with, but she guessed that was the point, she was nice to look at for some and that was it.
When the conversation was back on the Avali she smiled lightly again at least. She could respect at least that he did what he could to help the kid and was still doing his best to help said child. The Saiyan women couldn't hold back a smile when he mentioned about how the Avali was a very cute and small thing though. "They sure sound it, heh" Her praise to him on the ordeal wasn't something she believed he didn't still deserve even after the declined offer, "Well, good on you for doing the right thing"
Zhalla would smirk lightly at the part about him being glad to have a new regular around, "Of course, means you've done your job well, right?" He probably had more reason for being glad beyond just customer and job related wise but for now, she saw it as only that. He'd gotten someone else who'd be visiting more often and spending more money here then on competition chains, of course he was glad.
When he then held the door open for her after she'd tried to do that for herself she seemed to pause for a moment as she took a moment to decide on how to respond before finally closing her eyes for a moment before looking at him with a rather sly look, "Thank you" She wasn't beyond manners and he had held it open for other customers too, part of the job and all again, right? He then pointed out that he wouldn't be long before going to get his own vehicle, she would nod before getting herself sorted.
Now with her motorbike gear fully back on she was checking the straps on her black boots as Nero eventually came back, now with his hair back, gloves on as well as riding goggles in place of a visor, she paused for a moment, taking her hand off her bike's handle. He seemed pretty eager and excited to get going but she wasn't so sure. Sure he couldn't walk the walk like she would've liked but she didn't want to see him hurt or anything. "Hey, Pancake boy" She'd hold up a hand for a moment before continuing, "You sure you want to do this? You can hop on the back of my bike instead if you want, I don't mind" Well she did mind, she loved her bike and only certain people were allowed on it but. Just this once. "I can't lose you that way-- In traffic and stuff, we wont run the risk of you gettin' lost if you're on the back, there's plenty of room" Seems while she was concerned about his safety, she wasn't about to outright say it, it's not like he could see her face from behind that helmet and visor she had on anyway. "I've got a spare helmet and stuff as well if you need"

Nero quirked a brow, honestly rather confused as to why Zhalla’s demeanor changed all of a sudden. Then he realized that she was a Saiyan. Saiyans typically take challenges and offers to fight or spar quite seriously. In all honesty, Nero had almost all but abandoned that side of himself. Even thought Nero wasn’t entirely sure on the whole idea; a vague answer in this scenario wasn’t helpful; Zhalla deserved to know his reasoning. “I’m not against the idea; I’m all for it, it’s just that I’m super rusty. I’d just rather give you something.. I dunno, actually worth your time. I’m used to just being told to not even bother.” Nero sighed, but he smiled in the end. “You really surprised me. So you are definitely gonna catch these hands sometime, m’kay?”
Smooth.
As for doing the right thing and helping people? At least Nero had that— and he was quite ‘rich’ in a figurative or metaphorical sense because of it. “Did what needed to be done, and the world is better for it, cuz it has that lil’ guy in it still.” Zhalla was right of course, Nero was pretty much known for his excellent service, it came as no surprise. There was more to this though; Nero also made a friend rather quickly! “I’m good at what I do, but making new friends? Now that's the best part.”
Nero noted the sly look Zhalla gave him, unsure of why she did it. All he did was hold open the door, no big deal in his mind. Maybe she thought of the gesture differently? That piqued Nero’s interest at least. “You’re welcome~”
Upon his return along with his own riding gear, Zhalla questioned Nero’s willingness to go through with all of this. “Yeah, why?” He spoke without a single moment of hesitation. “It’s for those kids, so of course I wanna do this.” There was more to this however, Zhalla brought up some decent points. He wasn’t planning to get himself lost, this was his home city after all. Nero looked between his hoverbike, Zhalla’s motorbike, and the packages in his hands. Narrowing his eyes, Nero did some mental math to figure some things out. “Okay, sure.” He replied with a shrug and a slight smirk. “Just a moment.”
In no time at all, Nero put his goggles and half helmet into the holding compartments on his hoverbike and moved it over to a nearby parking space and turning it off, he could always come back for it later. “Toss me the spare helmet and I’ll take care of the rest.”

When Nero started to explain why his reasoning and how he wasn't against her idea there were just other underlying reasons on why his answer wasn't a full one, Zhalla listened carefully and frowned lightly. When he explained he was used to being told not to bother though her frown deepened. "The only people who tell you to give up and not bother, are the people who're scared you'll beat them next time, they're cowards." She'd almost hiss out rather angrily, annoyed that anyone would discourage another from doing something. "Listen, it doesn't matter to me if you don't even last five seconds in a match, what matters is that you try" She was glad he ended up smiling though, "Nobody should discourage you from trying, you never get better if you don't even bother, but you will always improve if you try" She'd then smile too at his last part, "I'll hold you to that"
The saiyan women smirked lightly hearing how he spoke about the kid he saved and was looking after, "You never know what those kinds of kids are gonna grow up to be either huh? I mean, you could've saved the kid who grows up to discover the cure to a deadly disease or something wonderful like that" And under the right care, she was sure the child he had was going to do great, "Friends huh?" She'd roll her shoulders for a moment before nodding lightly, aside from the kids she wasn't so sure she had many friends really. "I'm sure it is the best part."
Nero's insistence to help for the sake of the kids was pretty touching to the female saiyan, so much so that she took a second to think for a moment, biting her lower lip before taking in a breath. Eventually the other saiyan agreed with her, packing his goggles and semi-helmet back into a compartment on his hoverbike which he then turned off after parking it, giving a slight sigh of relief she smiled and reached for the spare helmet before then looking to Nero and handing it over, "I ain't tossing it, cost me a chunk to get good helmets like these" She'd laugh lightly, rubbing the back of her neck. Seriously wouldn't be able to afford another one if it did get broken so no tossing for now. "C'mon Pancake boy, when you're ready, let's not keep the kids waiting"
