Zhalla's PL: 1,000
Noki and the others seemed to nod and agree with Nero on that one, sure, not everything could be seen in a positive way but Noki at least preferred to try and see the majority of things in a positive way if he could manage such. They all agreed more so at the part about empathy, " You probably know more then you give yourself credit for Nero! Experience makes wisdom" Harper raised an eyebrow looking rather surprised when Nero said he maybe could even become taller then Zhalla when he was grown up, earning a bit of a squint from Zhalla herself, although she for sure didn't exactly catch what was said between the two boys, " That's a tall order! Heheheh, I guess we'll see in time if you're right or not!" " Yeah! That's right!" Alomora would nod enthusiastically to what Nero had said about Noki which made the young boy become rather flustered. " Neroooo, Aloooo!" Noki would rub behind his head and push his blonde hair to the side which Alomora promptly leaned up and fixed herself with a pocket brush she had on hand. The kids all nodded when Nero asked if the flower crown had been a group effort and all of them seemed glad and excited even seeing his reaction to the gift. Alomora was delighted seeing as both Saiyan's followed through with her request, clapping her hands together and letting off a light squeal of joy, " Thank you, thank you!" Zhalla cracked a light smile at what Nero said back to the title she gave him but was quick to hide it shortly afterwards with a smaller smirk instead. The young majin would smile up at Nero before giving one of his legs a quick hug, " Thank you Mister Nero, we'd all love to see you again, right guys?" The room quickly filled with all kinds of different ways to say the word 'yes' as all of Zhalla's crew seemed to agree with Alomora on that one. The kids would all take their turn filling their plates with the pancakes they wanted, making sure there was plenty left over for their friends who weren't currently here in the moment, as well as making sure each of them got their fair share in amounts as well. Once all sorted they'd take their seats in the lounge room and dig in, which brought a silence to the room for the first time since Nero had gotten there today. When Nero spoke up the other Saiyan would look back to him as well but promptly looked aside and smiled lightly, " I can't really put into words how proud I am of them honestly" She'd admit as she folded her arms over her chest. " Thanks again for humouring them, seems like they like you already" Zhalla would look back to the other Saiyan once more though, " We can't keep you though obviously, I'll give you a ride back to wherever you'd like since I got us here" She looked to the kids smiling faces for a moment, " Suppose I owe it to you to do at least that too, huh?" She'd swing the keys to her bike around her index finger for a moment before catching them in her palm, " We oughta let them finish breakfast and such in peace, I'm ready to take you to where you need to be, whenever you're ready"

There was great truth to what Noki had spoke of. Experience did indeed make wisdom... For better or worse. Still, despite the underlying sting of thinking about what exactly he had experienced, Nero appreciated the sentiment greatly. “Heh, yeah it sure does.”
Nero snorted. It was such a basic and topical almost-pun, but coming from a child it was quite endearing. He had a chance to make a pun in response, and he wasn’t going to let it pass by! “Naw, you’ll get there. It won’t take long... at tall” Nero knew that it was such a dumb pun, but that didn’t stop him from snickering a little.
Glad that Alomora agreed with him, Nero had a mild look of triumph on his face, a subtle show of pride once again. “You heard us, I reckon we were quite clear~” There was no shame in taking credit when it was deserved, but modesty typically showed a sign of maturity. Nero wasn’t going to push on the matter though, out of respect for Noki in case he felt embarrassed.
Alomora took over most of Nero’s attention with her jubilation, but Zhalla’s smile didn’t go unnoticed. Nero decided not to bring attention to it at this point in time because he figured Zhalla preferred the ‘tough’ image, which a smirk easily fit under. At least she seemed happy.
Nero held his hands behind his neck, adopting a casual stance with a modest and somewhat bashful smile. “Hey, I might be food based royyyaltyyy-” He began with a goofy tone before speaking normally. “- but the honor is all mine.”
It was a little surprising to see how quickly the room calmed down as the children all stocked up on food. The stark contrast between the energetic uproar of his arrival between this calm time caught Nero off guard for a moment. ’Huh. Neat.’ He thought, wondering how they all got so good with their table manners... Being from a Saiyan family and all, Nero knew exactly how ridiculous some people’s eating habits could get— even his own at times.
“Yeah, that makes perfect sense really.” Nero nodded, easily understanding what Zhalla was getting at since said much the same of Pankaa earlier on. He didn’t think he was humoring the group of kids necessarily— to him the phrase implied some manner of unwillingness to do something. “I like to help out where I can s’just how I am.”
Nero still had some time left before he had to return to work, and while there was no need to hurry back, he did like being punctual. “Yeah, I still have the rest of my shift to do— more of this to to make a reality and all.” He gestured vaguely at the children that were all happy and enjoying themselves. “We can head off now, if that’s okay with you? I’ll let them know.” Calling out to the children, Nero waved enthusiastically. “Yo everyone, I’m gonna be heading out now— I have to get back to work! You enjoy your food and we’ll see each other again soon, okay?” After any last minute farewells, Nero’s attention returned to Zhalla. “Alrighty, I’m good to go.”

Zhalla smiled lightly again when Nero explained that he liked to help out when he could, and she'd follow this with an understanding and grateful sort of nod. "It's a good attitude to have honestly, glad to hear there's more people out there who want to help for the sake of helping" It wasn't often she got to meet and work with people who were helping just because they wanted to, most often it was for their own profit in some way.
The saiyan would nod again, getting that Nero had more work to do and more pancakes to make and deliver but when he reffered to the happy kids munching away at their own pancakes she couldn't help but to smile again. "Heh, of course, of course, wouldn't want to keep you from that now would we?" She'd then usher for him to go ahead, "That's fine with me, go ahead, we can head off whenever you're ready" When Nero waved them all goodbye they would stop their digging in for a moment to wave back to him, all of them making sure to shoot him another thank you as well. "We can't wait to see you again Nero!" "Thank you Nero! See you next time!" Even little Uba came out of hiding to wave the Saiyan a small goodbye as well which Zhalla seemed rather pleasantly surprised at.
Zhalla waited by the door until Nero let her know he was good to go, she'd push the door open and allow him to exit first before doing the same herself after letting the kids know she'd be back later. "Alright! Helmet up" She'd make sure the both of them got a helmet buckled on securely before hopping onto her bike and giving Nero time to hop onto the back again before then starting the engine. "Make sure to hold on like earlier. Is there anywhere you want to go beforehand or just straight back to Punchin?"

“Every bit counts, I’ll say.” Nero nodded in further agreement, hoping that Zhalla would become a regular at Punchin’ Pancakes just so she could meet more well meaning people. Nero did believe that the crew at the diner was like a family, after all. “Here’s hoping we both meet more people like that, yeah?”
With a dual finger guns gesture in thanks; taking the appropriate amount of time to say his goodbyes; even little Uba was brave enough to peek out from his hiding spot and wave— now that was a confidence booster for Nero, he believed that he made a positive impression on the shy lad. Given what he had learned today, that was one hell of an achievement! “Seeya later!” With one final smile, Nero followed Zhalla out of the building towards her bike, swiftly scooping up and wearing the helmet designated to him in a timely manner before hopping on the bike just like last time. “Yeah, I gotcha, uhhh..” Nero bobbed his head from side to side, thinking back to Zhalla’s inquiry involving a sparring match. “There’s a small usually empty basketball court on the way actually— you might’ve seen it, it’s the one with the blue and teal polka-dot sign out front? I’d like to take you up on your earlier offer. Yanno, the friendly fight thing.”

"Yeah" Zhalla would give a light smile as she crossed her arms over her chest, maybe she'd look into visiting Punchin Pancakes more often in the future, if any of their other employee's were even half as kind as Nero had shown himself to be then it'd always be a pleasure to drop by every once in a while. "Here's hoping for sure"
The Saiyan was rather impressed with the big goodbye Nero got from the kids and would shake her head lightly in soft amusement, it was nice for her to see the kids get along with other adults more so another Saiyan that was not herself. Even little Uba was warming up to him a lot quicker then she had imagined he would. This was really good, baby steps but a step nonetheless and that's what mattered.
When Nero popped his helmet on and clambered onto the back of the bike she'd start the engine and carefully turned the bike around so they wouldn't have to reverse out of the driveway. Zhalla would stop there though as Nero spoke up on deciding where he wanted to go next. When he answered that she'd put one boot down against the pavement and looked back to him, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah I know the court" She pondered for a moment and gripped the bike's handles a little tighter, "You sure you want to go do that now? Before finishing your shift?" Despite her questions she still got the bike off and onto the road, heading the right direction for that basketball court. While driving along she'd give a slight grin before adding, "Wouldn't wanna rough you up too much before you've finished work for the day" But she'd drop the slight cockiness and replace it with a more genuine tone shortly after, "I can take us there but only if you're completely sure you want to do this, it's alright by me if you don't you've proven yourself to be pretty genuine when talking to those kids so"

Since the two were now out of the orphanage, Nero would have an easier time speaking to Zhalla directly. “You saw Uba too, right? Like, I wasn’t just imagining things?” Nero mused, knowing full well he did indeed see Uba also wave goodbye, he just wanted to draw positive attention to it. “I think he’s whole lot braver than he seems at first.. I wonder who he gets it from?” He raised a brow, looking towards Zhalla prior to getting on the bike— clearly implying he was pinning that fact on her.
“Okay, awesome! Real talk, it’s a rad court, I’ve played a few games of basketball there for fun while on work breaks.” Nero smiled as Zhalla focused on getting the bike onto the road. “Yeah, I’m totally game. It won’t be an issue— besides I don’t have much longer left of my shift.” In response to her slight show of cockiness, Nero chuckled, countering with a bit of his own. “Pssh, as if I’d make that easy, c’mon now.” He gave a strong nod, confirming that the sparring match was something he actually wanted to partake in. “I said I’d stay standing in a fight for ten seconds, as I am right now. Whoever is the strongest out of us, it doesn’t matter. I said I’d achieve something, so I will.” If there was any moment that Nero was positive about a fight let alone looking forward to one in the last decade or so, it was in this moment. “I’m a man of my word— to everyone, not just kids.”

When Nero asked her about if she saw Uba too she would of course nod, "Yeah, I saw him alright. Not just you imagining it, surprised me too honestly" When the other Saiyan pointed out that Uba was a lot braver then he seemed at first followed by questioning who he got this from, Zhalla didn't even hesitate with her answer, "His brother" She'd look back to Nero for a moment or two before her eyes went back to the bike and road, "He gets it from his brother" She knew full well that Nero was trying to imply it came from her but it wasn't something she was about to budge on, Uba's bravery came from his elder brother who had used it when it mattered most, not her. "It's a good thing. Him waving goodbye to you, it means you've earnt some of his trust which even other non-saiyan adults have yet to manage as well as you have"
"I sometimes take the kids there or a small group of them there for play from time to time" Nero still seemed insistent on going to the court and taking her up on the earlier discussed sparring match, so eventually she would shake her head as they continued along a more convinced pace. "Well alright, if you say so" She smirked lightly at the ten second part, "We'll see about the ten second thing, doesn't matter if you don't, what matters is you're giving it a go, having a try" She appreciated that he did seem to try his best to keep his word. "Well you'd best hold on nice and proper or you wont be able to keep your word to the kids back there on revisiting again sometime soon, I'm down for our fight but I'm not down for you falling off the bike" She'd chuckle lightly but she did want to make sure he was on properly too.
"Here we are" It wouldn't take the two very long to reach the court Nero had spoken of and when they did Zhalla would carefully pull up along the side of the road to it before then giving Nero plenty of time to hop off the bike, doing the same herself shortly afterwards. "Lead the way, Pancake King"

“Phew, glad to know I wasn’t seeing stuff.” Nero chuckled, clearly just as surprised if not more so than Zhalla. What he wasn’t super surprised about was her answer to his question. Without hesitation, Zhalla attributed Uba’s confidence to his brother and this brought a soft smile to Nero’s face. Nero of course didn’t want to discredit Zhalla’s efforts that he had only briefly thus far in being Uba’s current caregiver; but he figured from the way she spoke about it that her answer was ironclad and final. “Yeah, that definitely makes sense.”
“Oh for real? Do they maybe have a junior team going? Are they maybe thinking about that or..?” Nero was actually rather glad that some of the kids were given the opportunity to use the free range sports areas in the city, at the very least to see if they even like sports. “I ask because I also work part time at one of the bigger recreational facilities on the other side of the city— I’m a coach for miscellaneous sports. So if any of them wanted some advice, I could give it.”
Nero smirked as well, and his voice pepped up as too! “Dang right I say so!” As instructed, he held on properly as instructed. He really had no worries about falling off of the bike to begin with seeing as he could probably just float away and re-orient himself, but he did as was requested for Zhalla’s peace of mind.
Rolling up to the aforementioned basketball court, Nero promptly and safely dismounted the bike, returning the spare helmet while waiting for Zhalla to follow. “You got it.” He nodded, making his way into the court when Zhalla was ready to follow along.
As promised, the court was empty, more than likely unused for a few days by the looks of things. Some unattended weeds and vines were beginning to overgrow a little around the wire fence that in front of the urban foliage. Despite the fact that it was empty and not often used; there was a certain charm to the place. It had a history, it was cherished by many over a long stretch of time— it was as if the place itself had loads of experience. “Heh.. Pretty cool place, huh?”

When Nero asked about a junior team Zhalla would smile weakly and look aside, "Well, I guess? We- I can't afford to take them to any real sporting sessions and the like so they just sort of have two teams amoungst themselves and play with the equipment I can get them, I try to coach when I can but I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to that sort of thing" She'd sigh lightly, "A few were interested, Noki being one of them, he seemed really interested in the game with the black and white patched ball but I don't know its rules unfortunately" The Saiyan sounded rather disappointed in herself at this though it was mostly because of her own upbringing lacking the education on this sort of topic. "I know how much multiple jobs take up your time, you don't have to do that Nero"
Zhalla would place both the helmets safely in the motorbike's travel box as well as her bike gloves, securing it before then following after Nero after having pocketed the keys. Entering the court she didn't seem all that bothered by how it was unattended as it was something she was pretty used to at this point. Its charm wasn't something that really hit her as obviously so when Nero chimed up again she would only raise an eyebrow and look slightly confused. "Uhh, I suppose?" It was simply another worn out sport court to her what exactly was cool about that?
"Not sure I see what's so cool about it, but hey" The Saiyan would roll her shoulders before starting to stretch her arms a little, "Different tastes and all that" She'd shrug lightly before fixing her jacket and looking back to Nero after having cast her gaze around the court. "So how would you like to go about this? We having any rules or any of that kind of jazz?"

Nero frowned slightly, it was no surprise that if money was tight then some expenses have to be cut— he knew all about that. At least in this scenario, the people working with the children cared deeply for them as far as Nero could tell, unlike a board of education messing with a highschool’s art department budget. The very thought of that almost made Nero retch in disgust. “That blows, I’d at least like to give some pointers as a friend rather than professionally from time to time. I’m sure your coaching is fine, at the very least I’m sure you’re able to instill discipline and such, they listen to you without much fuss from what I saw.” Nero said, trying his best to encourage Zhalla for her efforts, however minimal she may view them to be.
It came as no surprise to Nero that Noki was one of the few kids that was interested in a sport, and the Saiyan instantly knew the sport Zhalla was talking about. “Ahhh, yeah, that’s soccer— it just so happens to be my specialty!” Nero smirked. “I don’t have to, sure, what matters is if I want to help out a bit, and I do.”
Even though he was in a bit of a personal trance, Nero understood where Zhalla was coming from, not everyone saw things like he did, this sort of philosophical thing was one of his quirks. “I can just tell there is a fair bit of history here. Intense games between friends, rivals, that kinda thing… Call me weird if you want, but I always kinda wonder what the first game on this court was like.” Moments later, Nero began to laugh to himself, looking to Zhalla apologetically before calming himself down. “I bet that sounds really whack huh?”
Nero left that train of thought behind for now, as he started to do some pre-workout stretches and small exercises just for the sake of safety. “Hmmm. No going out of bounds, so stay inside the court. Flight can either be disallowed or limited to where the fence ends at the top, I’m not picky. Definitely martial arts only, no Ki blasts and all that— we don’t wanna tear the place down after all.” Nero tapped his chin and nodded, satisfied with his suggestions. “So yeah, that’s the jazz. What’re your thoughts? You have any alterations or additions in mind?”

Zhalla gave an appreciative smile but shook her head, "That's kind of you to say but nah... I never really got to go to school myself or anything like that so I've hardly ever even seen the sports played by people who know them let alone played them myself, I can discipline them sure but I can't really teach them or coach them on something I don't know how to play, you know?" Her head seemed to lower slightly and as did her gaze, she didn't mind that she wasn't the brightest bulb of the bunch or anything but it did bother her that she wasn't able to help the kids play as much as they wanted to at times because of her own limited education. "As for the pointers, only if you'd like and have the time to" She smiled lightly that he wanted to help at all, "I wont be able to name you the sports they want to play, if I'm honest, but I know the kids would appreciate any help on the matter."
"Ah, well that's fair I guess, it's not weird it's just not something we see the same way I suppose" When Nero began to laugh the saiyan would cross her arms over her chest not quite sure what was so funny herself, but glad he was in high enough spirits to laugh anyway. "Not really it's a curious question that would be interesting to find the answer to for some"
Zhalla nodded and placed a hand to her chin in thought for a moment, agreeing with the rules Nero pointed out, "Knowing when to stop I suppose? How's it decided who wins and all that? When does the fight end? Any no-hit spots as well, better point them out now rather then later" The flight rules didn't bother her much, it had been some time since she'd even used her flight, whenever she did it was to boost jumps or similar. "Aside from that I'm pretty lax about it all, you get first move pancake boy" She'd grin lightly and plant her feet firmly against the ground as she raised her arms.

Nero honestly thought Zhalla was reasonably well educated. Maybe she missed out on some things but she seemed okay to him. “You still learn from life itself, I think that matters a lot too.” Nero understood what Zhalla was getting at about sports too, but he was certain she could figure stuff out, at least know the basics from the kids she was supervising. “Makes sense, it’s like cooking sort of. Where there’s a recipe for say, a pancake— you follow that, those are it’s rules. You’d learn better from someone that already knows how to make it. Heck, I could tutor you on the basics of a few sports so you can be more involved with their hobbies and supporting’ them?” Nero shrugged, it was up to Zhalla in the end, but the offer was there for her. “Heh, just describe how some equipment looks like and I can help you out, there’s always a solution!” He added, with a grin.
“Yeah, it’s not a big deal; just my perspective on it.” Nero snorted, noting Zhalla’s confusion as to why he laughed. “Sorry, I just think it sounds kinda silly now that I’ve explained my thought process out loud instead of just internalizing it. Still feels right though, kinda gives me peace of mind.”
As for the rules of their bout, Nero nodded in agreement to Zhalla’s additional rules. “Yeah, knowing when to stop is fine.. Uhh. Hmm. Victory conditions.. I dunno, you lose when you fall flat on the ground and stay there for like five seconds?” He shrugged, it was good enough. “No tail grabbing from either side, there won’t be much of a clash otherwise. No hair pulling either—” Nero paused, running a hand through his hair jokingly. “Because we’re fabulous, and we shouldn’t mess with that~”
Nero strolled on over to the other end of the court and stood opposite Zhalla, with one last stretch, he fell into a firm fighting stance of his own— it was an interesting one to boot, reminiscent of several near ancient fighting styles merged together into something fluid and mostly defensive in nature— at least at a glance. A mild spark of energy crackled across Nero’s eyes. “That’s pancake king, remember? You said so yourself.” He smirked before darting towards Zhalla with a bit more spring in his step that he didn’t seem to be entirely aware of, and his movements looked a little strained as well, but nothing slowed him down just yet. As soon as he got close, Nero would throw a right hook, only to fake out at the last second and sidestep, revealing his true first move, which was an attempt at kneeing Zhalla in the abdomen!
He had good fighting form— he definitely had a fighter’s life once upon a time— but something was missing... Something that was struggling to be unleashed from deep within...

"Of course, I've got street smarts oozing out my boots at this point, but sports aren't in that smarts aside from if you count fighting I suppose, but that was learnt through necessity" When Nero gave an explanation, comparing it to like learning a cooking recipe and simply following that, "You know there's a reason I went to Punchin for their special day food and didn't just whip something nice up at home" He was right on the part about learning better from somebody who already knows though. "I don't have anything to really give back to you in trade if you did that, and wouldn't want to take up time you could be spending doing something better, so I'll have to pass" She didn't seem to really believe someone could be so nice as to offer this much for nothing in return, especially after having just met each other.
"Don't be sorry for laughing, you're fine, I just don't really see it your way at the moment but that's okay" She'd nod understandingly when Nero explained the five second rule "So does being held down for five seconds count too then?" She'd ask before laughing lightly, "Yeah tail and hair grabbing would be a boring fight" Zhalla agreed before holding back a snort at how Nero added to the part about the hair pulling.
Zhalla stayed on her side of the court for starters like how Nero had, giving a couple more stretches as well but not many since she was obviously used to fights coming out of nowhere with no time to stretch prior to them starting. Nero's stance was interesting to say the least, not exactly something she saw coming. Despite him being a Saiyan he didn't give off much to suggest he had any sort of interest in fighting, so much so that she didn't think this fight was even going to happen to begin with. "We'll see who's still King after this~ I'm coming to claim that crown" The spark of energy that sparked across his eyes caught her off guard again though, as did the way he darted forwards. This would give Nero enough time to reach her and go for his faked hook and then kneeing attempt with little reaction on her part.
Or at least to start with- Nero's hit landed where he aimed for though making Zhalla let off a light grunt of a noise and skidded back a short distance to regain composure, bringing her arms up to block if he went for a move to follow up along after the knee. The Saiyan would pause for the moment and looked Nero dead in the eyes, her own narrowing lightly, "Are you holding back on me?" She raised an eyebrow, it didn't feel like he was giving his all on her, like he could do more and she didn't want anything less then that, though it didn't occur to her that this could be because of something Nero himself wasn't totally in control of.
He'd had his swing though and now it was her turn. Zhalla shook her head lightly before springing into action herself, no more getting distracted! Rolling one of her shoulders she'd set her tail firmly against the ground, leaning back on it and making a bouncing motion a few times before then launching herself and a strong kick straight towards Nero, aiming to hit him fair in the chest.

“Hey, your boots are pretty big, so if your street smarts are oozing out of them, then you’re basically a street genius, right?” Nero shrugged, the more fight-heavy sports weren’t all that bad, if anything the two could trade knowledge since Nero wasn’t exactly against brushing up on fighting theory as much as he was on actual practice. “Either way, super cool boots— and hey I’m sure you’ve got some knowledge I don’t, we can do a little knowledge exchange if you’re more inclined to do that, but if you say so. Regardless the offer still stands.” Nero was allowed to be at least a little stubborn about it given that supporting others and helping was effectively his entire active skill set right now.
“Alright, sweet— that’s all good, I just find peculiar things cool or funny I suppose!” For which he held absolutely no shame, since it was a harmless quirk that really only made him look goofy to some, if even that. “I dunno, I don’t feel like it’d be exciting to put pinning down as a victory condition. The good ol’ last one standing thing will suffice, I think.” Quirking a brow at Zhalla’s taunt, Nero decided to respond in kind. “It’ll take more than a sparring match to get you that crown, I’m afraid~”
The Saiyan hopped backwards after his initial attack and started making fairly unpredictable short zig-zaggy movements in a bid to throw Zhalla off. From there, however, things got rather odd on Nero’s end— and this would easily become more clear after Zhalla locked eyes with him. Nero’s eyes were slowly fading from normal to completely blanked out white.
He watched Zhalla intently, not responding to her question outright— it wasn’t that he ignored it, it was as if he physically couldn’t reply. It wouldn’t take a genius to figure out Nero was so horribly tunnel-visioned on the fight at hand and reaching some kind of goal. That aside, he looked reasonably cognizant, at the very least aware enough to know what he was doing in some way given his movements.
By now he had lasted around six of the promised ten seconds, and Zhalla’s unorthodox wind up maneuver caught Nero’s eye— he was likely intrigued, surprised, and impressed all at once. She was a unique fighter, that’s for sure! When Zhalla finally launched her flying kick, Nero didn’t make a move to dodge— no, that would be boring! Instead, he waited until the last possible second to shift over slightly and grapple onto Zhalla’s outstretched leg with both arms to use her momentum against her, but he wasn’t nearly strong enough to pull the maneuver off properly— or really at all, so he was forced to abruptly let go before Zhalla’s speed potentially became too much for him. Nero skidded to a halt off to the side, but he still remained standing, though he didn’t get booted right in the middle of his chest, he was likely going to sustain bruising on both of his arms and a small portion of his chest.
This was no reason to stop however, Nero still had it in him to continue this little skirmish. Once he reoriented himself, Nero once again rushed forward at Zhalla, and when he was but two steps away from her, he suddenly jumped upward and started to spin forward in mid air and attempt an aerial axe kick on Zhalla!

Zhalla would hold back a laugh and instead smirk lightly when Nero made the comment on her boots and their size, "You think these are big? You should see my Saiyan ones, but yeah that's right" She wasn't one to be overly cocky but she did think she had quite the smarts when it came to street smarts even if it was the only smarts she really had a lot of at all. "I probably do but as do you, you'd know plenty that I wouldn't" The Saiyan would only huff lightly in response to the rest of it, she'd consider it but no matter how stubborn he'd try to be, she wasn't giving him a yes right now.
"Seriously?" Zhalla raised an eyebrow in a kind of disappointed manner, placing her hands on her hips, "Hard disagree with you there, pinning down is one of the best parts, it's exciting having the time count down as you try to keep your opponent down or try to get back up and go again" Her eyes flashed with enthusiasm and excitement even at just the thought of it, "If you can't get back up from being pinned down, you're not going to stand a chance for the other parts of the fight, one of the most important parts about a fight is getting back up, and trying again" She'd bring her hands forward and slam a fist into the open palm of her other hand. "We'll see about that"
When the two Saiyans locked eyes and Nero's would steadily start to change right before her eyes, the ginger haired women would pull back lightly and blink a few times seemingly a little shocked and unsettled by this change. "What in the-..." She considered potentially going for a knock out on the other saiyan just in case something was going wrong on his end, but didn't want to have to do that right before he had to go back to work. It'd remain the last resort for now, if more stuff happened then she'd not hesitate.
Zhalla was somewhat surprised to see him go for trying to grab a hold of her leg but she knew full well that her legs were one of the strongest points she had in fights, she'd made sure of that and sure enough Nero eventually ended up letting her go. The Saiyan saw what he had tried to do with that move though and hoped one day she could see him pull it off properly. "You almost had it, nice attempt" She'd say encouragingly as she planted herself back down to the ground shortly after her move was complete. She hadn't hit exactly where she intended but it didn't matter, her move still had done something.
Nero soon rushed at her again but instead ended up launching himself up into the air before then aiming to kick back down at her in a rather fancy motion. Zhalla raised a brow slightly in an impressed sort of way before she'd also shoot herself upwards at him to catch him off guard. For her at least when going for air attacks, rarely did your opponent join you in the air, it also meant his kick would lose some of it's momentum in the process with any luck. Jumping up after him, she did her best to back up just a little to try and avoid coming into contact with his foot but it looked like she was still going to so she would raise her arms up in front of her and let out a shout as she attempted to get a hold of him in the air. Her shout was not panicked or angry but filled with instead her excitement to be fighting someone who was proving to be a worthy opponent.
