Hilariously enough, Nero found some pride in getting Zhalla to show pride in herself— it could be seen as a tad egotistical from an outsider, but among Saiyans? This was nothing, a good majority of their people had the skills to back up their claims if they weren’t of the dreadfully egotistical variety. Nero decided to let it go though, both of them were stubborn, but there was no denying that a cyclical discussion would get them nowhere.
Nero shrugged, finding Zhalla’s logic reasonably sound. He wasn’t too fussed about that particular rule anyway. Besides, her enthusiasm sold it quite a bit, so Nero decided to relent. “Alright, you’ve convinced me, as long as it doesn’t involve any tail grabbing, I’m ok with that ruling being put in place as a way to achieve the victory condition.” To match Zhalla, Nero also struck an open palm with a fist in the same way she did. “Oh we will. Don’t you worry.”
Though his gaze was intense, as a fighter’s gaze should be— Nero’s brow furrowed in a quizzical manner upon seeing Zhalla’s confusion. At the moment, he didn’t see anything wrong, so he blinked right back and tilted his head, squinting in uncertainty. Nero let off a huff, seeming somewhat restless, he wanted to continue the match!
Unfortunately, since his prior tactic failed, Nero didn’t feel very good about himself. He snarled, looking down at his hands for a moment as he recovered. “Come on..” He muttered, more sparks flickering from his eyes as he shut them tightly, his odd trance seemed to deepen…
Only for Zhalla’s voice to cut through it!
Encouragement? Yes, it was, and Nero definitely heard it! His eyes shot open, not quite normal, but not totally blank either! “Heh… Ya think so? Well there’s more where that came from!” Nero triumphantly called out, a solid smirk on his face as he made his next move. It didn’t go anything like Nero had planned, but he was way past caring if it did. The two clashed in mid air, a mild gust of wind came from the epicenter of impact between them. Zhalla would easily get a loose grip on Nero’s foot in this scenario, and thus an opportunity to properly grab it! Since Nero wasn’t so keen on that possibility, he tried to lean back and drive his free leg into Zhalla’s torso in a bid to push her away.

Zhalla's PL: 1,000
Zhalla was more then fine with no tail grabbing of course, even for pinning victories as it made things much too easy and she hated an easy fight more then losing! Losing was still rewarding if it came after an eventfully fun fight! Nero didn't give off any signs to even acknowledge what was going on with his eyes, even going so far as to look confused at her for being puzzled about it, so she shook her head and tried to ignore it for now, obviously he couldn't see his own eyes but he obviously seemed to at least still feel the same, or alright enough to not be worried. " Yeah I think so! That's the spirit! Show me whatcha got!" She'd grin lightly and was glad to see her encouragement had some sort of positive effect on the other Saiyan. He was really starting to show the Punchin side of the Pancake now. The moment the two clashed Zhalla was ready she saw the opening to grab a hold of Nero and went for it, but the other fighter attempted to drive his other leg into her, he knew she could grab him. She would let his other leg land true but used this as an opportunity to grab onto a higher part of him then just his foot, latching instead onto his leg and wrapping her arms around it before then forcefully pushing forwards on him in an attempt to push them so that he'd hit the ground first and be unable to land carefully. Nero had the fighting spirit she could admire but something was missing... Something was still not there that should have been, maybe he wasn't holding back but he wasn't showing his full potential either. He had kept his promise though, he'd stayed up for more then 10 seconds.

Nero’s expression sharpened with an excited fervor, his eyes not only returning to normal for a moment, but beginning to glow a little— perhaps this was a direct opposite phenomenon to what was true just moments before? The truth was still unclear, though it clearly had changed for the better. “Oh, well then, you asked for it!” As Nero more or less predicted, Zhalla had more than enough leeway to firmly grapple one of his legs— he was a clever one, using his attempt at pushing with his free leg against him, now that was some real fighter’s instinct for sure!
Even with his defeat ultimately ensured, Nero’s own fighting spirit had it’s brief moment to shine, for the first time in a long time of being unknowingly repressed, it was free. As such, so was he. Without even so much as a thought lingering on the inevitable, Nero unleashed a wild barrage of spirited punches at Zhalla’s seemingly unguarded shoulders and face— even if everything connected it was unlikely that Nero would even leave so much as a scratch on her. If anything, he hoped it got her off balance enough so that his landing wouldn’t be totally awful.
Not that it really mattered, for he had kept his promise. On his oath of Saiyan pride; he fought and stood for longer than ten seconds. In the end, triumph or fail, Nero would do either with his head held high.

While successful in her move to grab up higher onto one of his legs and latching onto him, she knew better then to think he'd just give up once she had a hold of him. Sure enough the other Saiyan's fighting spirit kicked in and he began to unleash a flurry of punches mainly at her face and shoulder area. Since she couldn't block with her hands or else she risked letting him go completely she opted to try her best to flinch her head away and as out of reach as she could manage, but it wouldn't be enough to really stop his oncoming hits.
So she'd opt to just hold on tight and sit through his barrage of attacks which weren't too bad but again she felt like Nero was holding back something from her, though by now she figured it didn't feel intentional. Just what was his deal though? Why hold back? Why were his punches so lighthearted and soft compared to what she was used to even from other friendly spars? She didn't feel like it was because he simply was weak or anything like that, he had more to him then he showed she just wasn't sure exactly what.
Nero was unsuccessful in getting her off-balance, she wasn't exactly a stranger to having her face be a target in such a way especially since she looked after all kinds of mischievous kids. However she didn't really plan to slam him full force into the ground below either. She saw no point in doing so as she wasn't actually aiming to really hurt the guy even if she had planned to try and at least win. Before they could fully reach the ground, Zhalla would stretch out her legs and heave the other saiyan up a little higher so that her feet would hit the ground before he did. Sure enough they would and she'd wince lightly at the sudden shock from landing that rippled up her legs, probably should've prepared for that a little better...
Either way she overcame it and would then attempt to heave the other Saiyan by the leg she still had a hold of, down to the ground and finally slam him against it now that they were at a much safer distance to it to do so. If successful she'd puff lightly and press her right fist against his chest as a grin spread across her face, "Not bad Pancake boy, not bad"

Everything went exactly as Nero had expected, Zhalla was largely undisturbed by his attempt at stopping her final move. Though she flinched away, there was practically no need to since she overpowered him by leaps and bounds at the moment, especially with Nero’s true strength ‘sleeping’ so to speak.
Even though Nero had been satisfied by the short spar, there was no reason for him to make it easy for Zhalla. In her moment of shock, Nero managed to get his bearings. It didn’t take much effort for him to calculate the multitude of actions Zhalla could take. He was deftly hoisted upwards by the female Saiyan and subsequently dropped onto the pavement with a satisfying ka-thwack!— but he managed to do so reasonably safely, which was his main focus since being thrown in some way was unavoidable to begin with. The problem was he ended up landing on his back somehow. Now, considering the way he hit the ground Nero suddenly burped in a rather comical manner. Moments after registering what just happened, he began laughing uproariously. “FHehhehhahahahhaha ooohhh my goodness, excuse me!” He finally managed to speak through his laughter. “Did not expect that— sorry, heh. Good fight, solid win on your end.”
After properly recomposing himself with a sharp exhale, Nero gestured for Zhalla to let him slowly sit up. When able to do so, he gave Zhalla a nod and his own grin to match hers. “You’re not bad either! I do wonder what you can pull off outside of just a physical bout. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind sparring again sometime. You’re way cool in my book.” No wonder she was so popular with those kids; she absolutely had the makings of a badass motherly figure.

Zhalla seemed to pause slightly at the reaction Nero had after being slammed back down to the ground but after a moment or two she broke her posture and let out a raspberry noise with her mouth before following it up with a laugh. Laughing only became harder to stop once it started when Nero himself began laughing as well. Pulling herself away from him she'd scrunch up her lips in an attempt to stifle her laughter before steadily getting to her feet properly and dusting herself off. "No need to be sorry, and you weren't so bad yourself either you know"
She'd give him some time to slowly sit himself up and would stretch out her tail and legs while she waited. When he was sat up Zhalla would offer Nero her hand in an attempt to help him up if he so chose to take it. "Yeah? You really think so?" She'd then shake her head lightly at him and place one first against her hip, "You sure you want to wonder what I can do outside a sparring match?" She'd smile though, maybe he'd get to see that at some point in the future? Who knows, "I'm always down to spar again another time later on if you're up for it again, I hope I didn't ruin your work uniform too much" Rubbing behind her head a little anxiously her gaze would shy away for a moment when he said how she was cool in his books, "Well the feelings mutual then" She eventually answered with as she looked back to the other saiyan, "Thanks for a great fight Nero, you've got more to you then I think you let show, don't you hold back on me next time we spar again, alright?"
All in all though she did hope she hadn't hurt him, he was a kind saiyan and had given her no reason to cause any real harm. Just to be sure Zhalla would give him a once over for any injuries she might've caused in the heat of the moment, "You all good? Nothing hurts or anything like that, yeah? If you're all good I can take you back to Punchin' as promised on my bike whenever you're ready"

Nero kept snickering while still flat on the ground. Seeing Zhalla scrunch up her lips was proof enough that she totally almost laughed— she could deny it all she wanted but Nero could tell. “Heh, nah I’m happy about what I managed, I just didn’t expect to belch upon hitting the ground is all!”
Without further hesitation after making sure he was okay, Nero gladly took Zhalla’s supportive hand to get himself up. Where most other Saiyans might swat her hand away, he saw no reason to. “You tell me, you’re the one that kicked my ass.” Nero shrugged, not seeing the big deal. He ended up confused at Zhalla’s following statement though. “I meant other than a purely physical sparring match. Like your laser pew pew skills, Ki techniques. That kinda thing. But hey yeah, I’m keen to see what other skills you’ve got. Play any video games? I do work at an arcade too. You down for an eating contest? We’re both Saiyan, so surely we can make a contest out of that. The list goes on~” Wait, was that a wink? Surely there was just something in his eye? Dust, perhaps? “The uniform should be fine though; its honestly made of sturdier stuff than I ever expected. Weird, right?”
Nero nodded and held out his hand, gesturing for a handshake when Zhalla looked back at him. “If you want to throw down again sometime, I’m game.” He raised a brow in regard to ‘holding back’ but he chose not to comment on it. As far as he could tell, he gave it all he had. “No worries! I can handle it. After work I’m gonna just relax, that usually does the trick. So, I’m ready to head out.”

Zhalla would help heave the other saiyan to his feet but was also surprisingly very gentle about the way she pulled him up, probably had something to do with how she was often around kids back at the shelter. She would give a light laugh at the next part, "I don't exactly think all that highly about any of my fighting efforts, as I know I can push myself more and do even better a next time, so you know" She would also give a shrug.
When it came to things outside of a physical sparring match the saiyan looked confused herself and almost hesitant even to respond to him about it. "My... Laser and ki?" She'd raise and eyebrow as he'd said it as though it were something everyone had or was at least common for most people to have, "I'm a close combat fighter Nero, I don't have any lasers and things like that" Well not that she knew of anyway-- She had managed up some ki based weapons in the past but none were really all that good and she hadn't exactly used much of it, she'd much prefer to just punch someone. At least for the moment that is. But she wasn't about to show the other saiyan ki abilities she had so little knowledge in.
"I do not play video games, no- I uh, do not have the time or games to do so" He also worked at an arcade? How did he manage to get so many jobs at one time? Speaking of arcades she remembered how it was always somewhere she wanted to go as a child but never really could. Now was not the time to try and indulge in such things though. Eating contests while being something she could be good at, she saw no real point in them, it was a massive waste of food which by now she was used to only having what she needed on and nothing more and the same could be accomplished better through a fist fight which is also much less wasteful. Zhalla wouldn't comment on it though as she had already knocked his last two suggestions and didn't want to seem like she was just turning down all his ideas. She did catch the 'wink' though and for a moment she looked rather surprised but eventually the expression mellowed down to her raised eyebrow look. His outfit being weird? "Very" Not quite as odd as she found the possible wink though.
Zhalla would take Nero's hand and give it a gentle but firm shake after he had held it out for such. "I'm always ready to throw down, you just let me know when you're free to do it again, huh?" Though she wondered how they were going to do the whole staying in contact thing outside of simply going to Punchin Pancakes everytime she wanted a fight. The only thing she really had on her that had her number was... "Here- uh" She'd pull back her hand before checking through her pockets, finally getting to her pant pockets before finding what she was after. It was a small and rather red card that she would hold out to Nero with two fingers. "Need to have someway to stay in contact outside of just showing up to your work and demanding a fight, right? If you need anything you can always use the number on there" It was technically her mercenary hire card but. It'll do!
Giving the other saiyan a light thump on the back she'd then wander over to her bike and pick her helmet up, hoisting a leg over to get herself seated in the driver spot and flipping the protective screen of her helmet down. "Alright, c'mon Pancake King, if you're sure you're all good then its best we get your ass back to work now, huh? Wouldn't want you getting in any trouble for being back late"

“If you know that you can push yourself, that’s all you really need. That’s kinda how it goes for those that fight— assumin’ that they enjoy it and all.” Nero mused, often being the kind of guy that saw no shame in the art of combat conceptually. Things only became flawed when certain people’s goals involving combat came into play. “Practice makes progress, is how I like to put it.”
Nero chuckled, seeing Zhalla confounded by his questions. “Yeah, your laser beam and ki manipulation skills.” Bringing up his hands he made a goofy finger guns gesture with the appropriate ‘pew pew’ noises to accompany it. Tiny harmless marble sized bullets of plain white ki flew out from his fingers, dissipating into the air. “Or, like uh... Hmm, close combat tricks...” Nero took a deep breath, focusing on one of his free hands. A very vague and near unnoticeable plain white aura formed around his outstretched hand— those with an untrained eye wouldn’t notice it unless they were told to look directly at it. “This, but not as lame, something with a more solid form, like a basic energy sword or whatever.” He explained, making a ‘knife’ shape with his hand, the aura morphing just enough to swirl around it. “I’m just, uh, way out of practice.” Nero glanced away bashfully, dispelling the meagre display of ki manipulation he could manage.
Alas, Zhalla didn’t seem confident in the idea of video games, she didn’t even touch on the idea of an eating contest— perhaps she wasn’t fond of them? Either way Nero wasn’t bothered, they weren’t that important to him either. “Well, maybe if you could ever bring any of your lot to Button Smash in North City, I could give you an intro on some games, show you the ropes. That way, you could at least play with the kids if they asked. I think that’d be sweet.” Nero chirped up happily. “You got any ideas though? I’d be happy to hear ‘em.”
“Hehe, yeah, next time I hopefully won’t be mid shift or something.” Nero idly held the back of his neck with a free hand, looking at Zhalla curiously as she rummaged around her pockets. Seconds later, she provided a card, not just any card— Nero knew what this sort of thing was. A mercenary’s call-card. He let out an impressed whistle. “Madame mercenary and a mama bear. Well damn, no wonder you’ve got skills!” Nero stowed the card away safely in his shirt pocket, and quirked a brow at Zhalla. “Got a spare card and a pen? I’ll write my number down for you if you’d like.” Should Zhalla provide those things, Nero would quickly (and stylishly) write his number, with some sparkles around it before handing the items back over to his fellow Saiyan.
Now, with that all sorted, Nero made his way over to the bike and took up the spare helmet. “Right on, let’s go.” After making sure he had the helmet on properly, Nero hopped onto the bike and gave Zhalla the signal to head off.

Zhalla would bop her head side to side for a moment as she thought about what Nero said, sure he was right in the sense of that practice made progress and knowing she could push herself was all she needed, still though she felt it wasn't something worth humbling herself with and that doing so made her lose sight of continuing to push herself. "That's true, and practice is the only way to progress, I suppose you could say I just don't plan on simply taking much credit for that? Don't want to humble myself too much, you know?"
When he demonstrated what he meant by laser beams and ki she seemed to raise an eyebrow, "Ah" Zhalla would then do the same finger gun gesture he had done and... Nothing happened. The ginger haired saiyan frowned lightly but watched him try another trick before then trying it herself. Holding out one of her hands she would focus on it as Nero had done with his own, "Like... This?" Still nothing was happening though! This seemed to annoy her a little bit but she tried one last time, thinking of her favourite sort of weapon to use when out working-- Sure enough they would appear in the form of a soft green glowing ki from within her hands! But it was so sudden and real looking that it practically gave the women a scare, causing her to step back and drop what she had just made but the twin battle axes made of her ki would fade away before they even got to properly hit the ground. "What the fuck-" Zhalla stared at where she last saw the ki weapons for a moment before looking to Nero, "Aheh- That was bizarre, didn't know I could still do that, let alone that... Precise"
She shook it off though thinking not much of it. When it came to the idea of bringing the kids to the arcade though she would hold up a hand, "No need to give me an intro, I'm happy to let them play with each other, they don't need me to play with them" She did smile though, "I'll think about it, keeping them all in check in a place like that though is tough, especially since they'll all want to go" She sighed lightly but seemed optimistic about the idea. "Me? Uhm, well. Perhaps we could flip today and meet you at your work rather then you meet us at home, huh?" She smiled rather coyly to the other saiyan before flicking her tail, "Nah but I'm not super sure right now, maybe a visit to the pool could be fun, arcade would be good at some point or a park maybe?"
Zhalla looked a little taken aback when Nero whistled and said what he did after receiving her card, she felt warmth start to flood to her face but she huffed up a light laugh to shoo it away quickly. "Oh- Aheh-" She shook her head and focused on the part that came next instead- He was asking for a card and pen so he could provide her with his own number as well. "Oh! Yes, lemme just-" After a little bit of searching she would manage to pull out something for Nero to write on and a pen for him to write with before carefully taking them and the card back once he was done with them. "I'm not gonna hear the end of this once Alo finds out about this little card" The saiyan would say in a teasing tone, figuring the majin kid would assume one of the saiyans asked the other out or the like and that was why Zhalla now had his number.
With Nero now on the bike she would look back to check and make sure he was on properly and securely before rechecking her own helmet. "Alrighty, off we go!" She'd start up the bike which would give off a rumble as it sparked to life, Zhalla would then ride it back onto the road and check she was doing the right speed limit for the area before piping up again, "Don't have any other stops in mind before I take ya back to work? Just making sure~"

|| Nero’s PL: 17 ||
“Sure, I think I see where you’re coming from— having a lot of personal accomplishment go to your head resulting in a big ego or even complacency is pretty bad.” Nero tilted his head slightly and stroked his chin while mulling it over. “I definitely see the other extreme honestly just as detrimental; not giving yourself credit where it is due is a recipe for an inferiority complex in my opinion. So, I’d say one needs to strike a balance. Strive for more, but appreciate how far you have come overall. Looking forward is great and all but you won’t see how far you’ve gone if you don’t stop and look back every once in a while” Nero gave Zhalla a big grin, as well as a playful nudge in the shoulder. “I see nothing wrong with a bit of pride in one’s progress.”
Nero waited patiently for Zhalla to process his (admittedly lacklustre) demonstration of Ki usage, and became all the more curious when she decided to fully focus her attention on it, because he could tell quite quickly, even before Zhalla herself— that something interesting was going to happen, and he really wanted to know what that was.
Now, he was quite impressed, in fact. Zhalla had conjured a twin-axe set made of semi-translucent solid green ki. Unfortunately, she seemed quite stunned and immediately dropped them, causing them to dissipate before hitting the ground. For the limited time Nero could examine the conjured weapons, they seemed to be of a high quality. In his opinion, this wasn’t something one did without training unless they were some kind of prodigy nor a skill kept at such a level of quality unless they were an individual with incredible combat instinct, subconscious or otherwise. “Well, clearly, that the fuck.” Nero chuckled for a moment, before squinting at Zhalla as a smirk crept across his face. “A rare technique, that. Did you develop it yourself or..?”
“Nonsense, it wouldn’t be a problem to introduce you to stuff we have there.” Nero said, attempting to sell Zhalla more on the idea. “Sure, the rascals can enjoy playing against each other, that’s all good, I don’t mind— but what if I want to see what you’re made of, hm? On my ‘home turf’ so to speak? Think of it as a challenge!” He gave a cheeky wink in response to her coy smile. “You’re not one to turn one down are you?”
In regards to Zhalla’s employment, Nero didn’t fully understand why she was seemingly so hesitant about it. He had no reason to assume she was the exclusively shady kind of mercenary. Maybe she took a few questionable quests here and there, but that was just par for the course; even some ‘nice’ contracts could turn pretty sour without all of the information. Nero shrugged it off though, it could lead into quite a lengthy discussion and perhaps that was why Zhalla left it where she did.“Well, the way I see it, you’re your own boss, you make the decisions on what jobs to take. Shows initiative, and that’s pretty cool.”
Given what had happened so far, Nero figured Alomora would completely lose it; he almost felt sorry for the inevitable barrage of questions Zhalla was going to face if that kid ever saw the card with his contact information on it. “Honestly I’d be surprised if she ever let you have a moment of peace if she ever saw it. It shows just how much she cares I think. Yanno, you’d make a great mother just by going how well behaved all those kids are... Well you basically are their mother right now so there you go, point already proven.” Nero shrugged casually, as if saying this was completely normal and figured that there was no way anyone could assume any form of subtext or take it in any way other than objective fact.
“Vroom vroom, lets gooooo~” Nero cheered quietly before speaking up once again when he was questioned. “Nah, I’m good. Even if I wanted to stop off somewhere else I don’t think there would be enough time to make it worth it— so I’d rather be back somewhat early. I take pride in being punctual after all~”

Zhalla would smile lightly at the shoulder nudge from Nero, " Yeah yeah, I suppose that too I just-- I dunno heh uh-" Folding her arms behind her head as some colour came to her face, the ginger saiyan would advert her gaze away from the other saiyan, " Guess I just don't like doing the whole complimenting myself part on that front, but hey I do for other things!" Pointing a thumb to her chest she'd close her eyes and smile, " Like I know I'm proud of the progress I've helped the kids in my care make!" She managed a laugh at Nero's comment even after her apparent surprise at the ki axes, though she shrugged and gave a rather confused sort of smile at his question. " Is it? I uh- I suppose so? To be quite honest with you I'm not entirely sure of the answer to that myself" She couldn't help but to grin back at his smirk though and would gently give his face a light push with one of her hands, " Don't gimme that look! I dunno! Pfft-" Now Zhalla wasn't the kind to always be easily persuaded into things... But when you made it a challenge it became near impossible to turn down. Pointing to herself she'd raise an eyebrow amidst her face of confusion, " ... You wanna see what I'm made of?" She felt a funny sort of warmth come to her face though she wasn't sure on the why it did, Nero's wink and coy smile only added to it though-- " O-Oh! A challenge? Well I... I suppose I can't turn that down then, huh?" She'd give a grin back if he wanted to make it a challenge then of course she'd take him on. " Alright you got a challenge then!" The saiyan would smile and give Nero a nod of agreement, " Yeah she cares a whole lot she just uh, shows that a whole lot it can be a bit overwhelming heh" The part he said next though... That warmth in her face sprung back again this time in a lot more strength then the last. Waving her hands Zhalla would pipe, sounding a little embarrassed and flustered. " Oh-- I dunno about that I-- C'mon now aren't you being a little too modest? I'm more like uh... A big sister for em! Or somethin'--" Rather red in the face she would turn the conversation back on him, " Well either way, you seem to make a great dad for the kid in your care so" " Alright fair enough! Let's get you back in good time then!" With helmets fastened and the engine started, Zhalla would rev her bike a few times just to show off while they made their way along the road. It wouldn't take the two too long to head on back to Nero's place of work and when they did she would pull up and give him plenty of time to hop off properly and safely. " Thank you for everything today, Nero, it was nice to meet you" Zhalla would give the other saiyan a two fingered salute, " I look forward to seeing you again hopefully sometime soon, huh?" She'd give Nero a smile and a small wave before refastening her helmet and setting off for home, the kids were probably waiting for her return afterall! Though she did feel a little down to leave Nero behind she had the feeling they'd be seeing each other again soon enough. Thread Exit!

Nero smirked slightly, he did think that Zhalla could be a bit more honest with what she has personally accomplished, but in the end it was up to her to do it. “Well, as long as I’m around, you’re gonna be called out if you ever put yourself down, got it?” The same could be said for all of his friends too, Nero had that natural vibe about him if one paid enough attention to it.
Zhalla’s remarks on her rare Ki armory technique immediately earned such judgement. “Uh, duh. Yeah, it’s rad as hell and don’t let me catch you acting any different about it!” He added, his smirk not fading until the conversation turned to something else.
Such as the challenge Nero had issued to her regarding the arcade and the activities within. “Damn right, you heard me.” Nero sharply exhaled out of his nose triumphantly. “Glad to have you on board, we can set some time aside for that whenever we want to. I’m in no rush, but thaaaat’s because I’d like to give you the chance to train if you need it. I’m pretty good at DDR, I’ll have you know...”
Nero nodded, in some way he could relate to Alomora. He understood that their stories would be quite different of course, but he cared quite a lot about a great deal of things in his own way too. “Well sure, and to be fair she’s still young, still getting a hang of herself. If you’re supporting her along the way she’ll be fine.” He snickered a little at Zhalla’s following comment about modesty. “Really? Pfft, look who’s talking. At the risk of sounding childish, I must say— takes one to know one.” Totally foolproof argument, ironclad in every way, forrrrr sure! “We’re both pretty darn cool, let’s at least agree on that, yeah?”
Soon enough, the two would once again reach Nero’s place of work, and he efficiently sorted out his belongings and such before returning the helmet Zhalla so graciously allowed him to borrow. “Heh, you’re very welcome, Zhalla.
