Yogu stumbles out of the rubble of the lookout's palace. During his stumbling, visions of all the destruction he caused flashes through his mind. It takes all he has to hold back the wave of sadness, fear, and anger at himself that was crashing down on him. "Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey-" "WHAT?!" A few seconds of silence fill Yogu's mind. "Alright, Mr. Mopey, I just wanted to ask if we were getting a replacement boombox-" Yogu screams out loud, "SHUT UP! YOU RUINED MY KAI DAMNED LIFE AND NOW YOU'RE ASKING FOR A NEW BOOMBOX?!" "You're still alive aren't ya?" Yogu stops walking and drops to the ground. This was when that wave of all those emotions finally broke through the flimsy barrier he had, and he starts to sob and cry. He seemed to be doing a lot of that today. "You- We, killed people. You took over during Hale's tournament thing, and that was televised! Everyone must know that I'm the one who did that by now." "So? I kill guys all the time! 'Course that was before I got sealed. But what's the big problem?" Why was Yogu trying to explain what was wrong with killing people to an ancient demon who has been doing it for who knows how long? "Hey! I just got an idea Yogu ol buddy ol pal! What if, we went to Vegeta?!" Yogu remains silent, refusing to answer the disgusting creature inside him. "Think about it, you wouldn't have to deal with what would probably be a worldwide witch hunt for the demon kid who destroyed a few villages. And if we enlisted in the Saiyan Kingdom's army, we- I mean, I would get to kill shit! See, it works out great for both parties! I woulda asked for that Trade Fleet thing, but I know you'd be one hundred percent against that one." It was pretty clear to Yogu that Monster was trying to manipulate him into getting him to do what he wants, but he made an interesting point.
Was it wrong of Yogu to actually think of leaving the Earth after doing all of this? After trying to kill the guardian of the planet he lived on, the one he grew up on? The one he has promised to protect back in otherworld? Then, a few more questions crossed his mind. What has he done to fulfill that promise anyway? All he's done since being brought back to the land of the living is sit around and twiddle his thumbs. Now wasn't the time to do that. The World Trade Fleet was still out there, the STARGOONS were still out there. And who knows how many other threats to the Earth and other planets were just waiting to take center stage. "Maybe I should go to Vegeta..." Monster laughs, "NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! See, we can come up with some pretty bright ideas if we put our heads together, eh? Let's go!" The holes in their plan became pretty apparent almost immediately. One, they didn't have any way to get there. And two, how were they supposed to join the Saiyan Kingdom's army? "WAIT! Those people who were here! The ones in the armor, they came from Vegeta, right?" Yogu tries to sense the two women who came to Chime's aid during the fight. First Ramen, but they were nowhere to be found. They must've left right after the fight. Then there was that other one. The one who had stopped him from killing Typha and Chime during the attack. She'd never let him on her ship. There was no way. But could it hurt to at least try? Yogu certainly didn't think so, and when he sensed her not that far away, he flew right in her direction at full speed. Yogu didn't even hesitate for a second. He wouldn't have to say goodbye to Nashi, or Yanwang, or Karon. He had telepathy anyways! It'd be like he was still right there on Earth alongside them! "HEY SAIYAN!"
