"Well, we can't win them all." Snap chuckled. "But it helps to have some kind of plan for how to proceed with combat, especially in a collaborative situation such as ours."
"And yes, there should be plenty of other ways, but..." Donata started off before shrugging. "I haven't practiced. Like, at all. Like I've mentioned, my parents want me to study and be a good professional, not a crime fighter or something."
"But yeah, I still do fight bad guys!" the girl then broke out in laughter. "I don't know why. I guess because it's really exciting. And I do like it, it feels good to defend Earth and get rid of bad guys, be the hero, you know? But yeah. Pretty much the only times that I get to use my powers are those times, beating up the baddies and having Cereal here protect me and stuff as I do the big business on invader butt!"
"Magic seems a lot more versatile and like, uh... How do I put it. Academic? Arcane? Yeah." she added. "You can do a lot more stuff with it! Making food and bowls and stuff, it's crazy. My stuff feels quite a bit more limited, huhu. I doubt I'd ever manage to like, believe some ice cream into existence, I don't think psychic stuff would ever work like that, and it's a pity. But oh well. It's still cool, huhu."
