"
Where the hell am I?" It was a good question, one second he was wandering the Saiba Wastes, and now he was in some very strange place. There were old buildings, completely destroyed by the passing of time, and whatever battle had happened to take place here. "
What happened here? Didn't the Saiyans wish for everything the WTF destroyed to be repaired?" Yogu's questioning stirred Monster from his slumber. "
Wasn't the WTF that did this. Vegeta wasn't always a Saiyan and Saiba-creature only planet." Yogu wandered through a partially collapsed building, covered in head to toe with moss. "
What happened to them?" "
Whaddya think? They ain't here anymore." "
Oh." Yogu stands around on an empty street, kicking a mossy rock. "
So, you gonna do any training or anything? Come on pal, let's go kick some ass or something!" Yogu's tone turns surprisingly aggressive, "
HEY! I am not your pal. The only reason I've been cooperating with you was so I could stand a chance against Vocado. Once I track down and beat the shit out of that Saiyan that was responsible for the death of that old man, I'm gonna make it my main mission to get rid of you permanently." Monster snickered and disappeared, receding back into the darker parts of Yogu's mind.
Monster did have a point though, he still hadn't joined the Saiyan Kingdom's Army yet, and he wanted to be sure that he would take down whoever was behind that mask back then. Some guy named 'Kalabas' or something akin to it, if Yogu remembered what Vocado said correctly. So, train he did. Whether it was doing simple pushups and situps, destroying buildings with punches and ki blasts, target practice with rocks, or anything like that, Yogu did it. A few hours later and he was sitting at the edge of a cliff, overlooking the desolate city he had just trained at. It was strange, seeing that the Saiyans just left all this here. On Earth, they would've tried their hardest to make sure something like this was cleaned up in a matter of days. Then again, this place did have that weird gas stuff. "
Don't breathe that in, I don't want to die again." Yogu laid down at the cliff's edge and looked up at the stars. "
So uh... Hey Monster, I got a question for ya." Monster chuckled, "
Oh, so NOW you want to talk. Fine, what do you want?" Yogu sat up and said out loud, "
How did you end up getting sealed inside me? I know my family's connected somehow, but I'm still confused about that whole... Thing." This question brought Monster a bit of nostalgia, he remembered those nicer days before he got sealed. Back when he w
as free to roam Konats, destroying anything he wanted. That was, until those weird snake things showed up.
Past - Age 2500
Monster was bigger, meaner, and even more pantsless back 500 years ago. And, most importantly, he was free. At the time, Monster was just doing his thing, wandering around, destroying homes, killing space elves, just a completely average day, ya know? "
BAHAHAHAHA! Wow, that sure was fun! Let's see here..." Monster plucks a map of the planet from the mutilated corpse of another Konatsian. Left in the demon's wake is a path of death and destruction. An entire village of people wiped off the face of Konats. "
Right, so Ocariin City isn't too far off now. Should be able to get there within a day or so if I want to go fast..." Monster hears the sounds of shuffling from behind him. "
Huh?" He doesn't bother to look back, still trained on the map in front of him. The sound of that shuffling is the last Konatsian warrior left in the village. "
Y...You BASTARD! H-How can you just DO THIS?! Men, Women, Children... Gone in seconds... I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" The Konatsian charges forward, brandishing the sword that's been passed down in his family for hundreds of years. The strongest blade in the village, he was going to stop him for sure- Monster waves his hand in one swift motion, still not bothering to even look in the Konatsian's direction. The sword is broken in half, sliced through like butter. It takes a few seconds later, but that strange numbing feeling the Konatsian feels disappears, replaced with unimaginable pain as he looks down to see the giant hole in his gut. "
Wh-When did he...?" The Konatsian drops to the ground, dead.
"
Man, that was pretty pathetic. When is someone on this planet gonna be a challenge?! I get that I was made to kill these guys, but I would've liked SOME sort of challenge. Alright then, onto Ocariin City." Monster, or should I say Hakai Suru, wanders away from the village, whistling to some tune he made up in his head.
Om was a fairly average Konatsian. He was around six feet tall, fair muscle definition, and a faux-hawk of bright green hair. What was also average, was the fact that his village was next up on the chopping block. His was right between Ocariin City and the village that was reported to have been destroyed just yesterday. And no one knew what to do. Some of the village elders had just given up, deciding on just sitting around with their loved ones and waiting for their inevitable demise. Some of the younger, hot-headed warriors in the village had already gone ahead and tried to launch a preemptive attack on the demon. They weren't heard from again. Two scouts had gone ahead a few hours before to see just how close the demon was. Only one came back, "
The Hakai Suru was... A nightmare. So much life, gone... He could be here as soon as four or five hours from now." The beast was going to be upon them in mere hours and no one had a plan. Except for one, which no one was willing to attempt. That was until Om heard about it. "
YOU WANT TO WHAT?!" Om sat in the Elder's home, and tried to explain the plan to him. "
I want to try to convene with the Snake Demons in the west. They could have the power to stop the Hakai Suru. Maybe if we backed them up we could..." The elder pondered it for a moment. "
No... We've not bothered them, so they haven't bothered us. Going there would be suicide." "
Well we'll be dead within the day anyways! What's the harm in doing it? I'd much rather stand a chance than be some more cannon fodder for that thing!" Om left and, against the Elders wishes, traveled west.
"
So this is the place, eh?" Om wandered right into the den of the snake demons. It didn't take long for him to know that they had been out and about just recently, seeing as how several old statues were burned or completely destroyed, leaving nothing but a big pile of ash where it once stood. He would have to be quick about enlisting their help, or running away when they tried to eat him. The journey took about two and a half hours through the desert to complete, and it'd take him another two and a half to get back. Just about the time that the Hakai Suru would arrive. "
HELLO! I have come to request aid! The Hakai Suru is on our doorstep, and we believe he plans to destroy Ocariin City right after he's done with us! Please, we will be deeply in your debt if you choose to help us!" Om was destined to make it through this fight. But he wouldn't be leaving it without quite a few battle scars. After all, if he didn't survive, how would Yogu be on those cliffs in Vegeta today?
OOC: HOLY SHIT THAT'S A LONG POST! For the sake of having a fair fight, I'm going to say past Monster has the same PL as Base Yogu and cannot transform. Also, Om is pretty much just an NPC so he does not have any PL.
