She only ever knew of Tundra from a far, having grown up on Arcosia and hearing rumors and whispers, but most of the other Arcosians were as far from familiar as the Android they dug up not long after they found her. There was one Arcosian in particular who seemed less than fond of her either because of her admittance into the WTF fleet, or simply because she was a Saiyan, but either way she wasn't taking kindly to the glares, dirty looks, or untrusting gaze given to her every-time she walked past him. Sima overheard someone referring to him as Wintoz, but for now his name didn't interest her all that much, though the look he was giving her when she was heading to see Tundra gave her pause.
"Look, I'm just gonna come out and ask it; what's your problem? Do I make you nervous, do you not like Saiyans, or are you one of those people who looks at me and only sees some dirty monkey? It isn't so much that I care as that I'm wondering how to get past it without one of us getting bloody. I'm not one of those idiot Saiyans who would rather bash their head into a wall than have an intelligent conversation, so please, tell me."
Despite her words, her eye was heavily twitching as if she was in fact holding back some deep annoyance. It wasn't as if the dirty looks were anything new to her as far as Arcosians went, but she wasn't usually in the same position to address them. Perhaps she could get along with this one great in the end, or at least trust them enough to be able to turn her back to them in a fight. Slowly she pushed out what looked as much like a forced smile than it in fact was, trying to at least not appear hostile despite her sudden questioning.

“No Oelae, I don’t believe it is wise to cluster our forces for the moment,” Wintoz said scathingly, staring with derision at the weak alien before him. “If we cluster into camps, any hillbilly sayian with a grudge can roll on by with a space pod and kill hundreds. Now go back to taking inventory, were you evidently belong.” Wintoz snapped, throwing the datapad after the fleeing alien. The Arocsian had been in a bad mood all day, after the chaos of the Vegeta and the subsequent manhunt for surviving Sayians, investigating for the survivors planet by planet was starting to wear on the Arocsian. If not for the sheer incompetence of their predecessors, this would have been sheer grunt work. But now, with the average WTF soldier so weak, once-commanders were relegated to chasing half-forgotten hints of some cowardly sayians. This mood only worsened when the Sayian woman walked up to him, evidently wishing to converse. Letting out a loud sigh, the Arcosian turned to face the female, listening quietly to the Sayian’s stumbling speech. What caught the being’s attention, however, was how the woman referred to her own species as “monkeys” with a slight insinuation of their collective intelligence or lack thereof. “I do not have a problem with you personally Sayian, whatever your name may be.” Wintoz stated, putting the barest of hints on the identification, “I just don’t think it wise to trust a random warrior who popped out of a pod mere hours ago from parts unknown with Lord Tundra’s back. Plus there is the fact that we just conquered your home planet, so that might make your allegiance a little hazy.” Wintoz explained gesturing vaguely towards the sky above. It was not that the Arcosian had a problem with the woman personally, it was simply that she hadn’t given him much reason to trust her. Wintoz rolled a shoulder, “If you want to gain a modicum of trust, you should explain to me why I should deign to grant it. While that is happening, I wouldn’t mind a friendly…test of your abilities. It’s been a while since I have gotten some exercise. "

Sima was almost instantly disarmed of any anger from the first words out of the Arcosian's mouth, as a part of her was expecting to get verbally back-handed immediately. As he continued, there was a part of her that actually understood his stance, and it almost pissed her off even more that she agreed with him. She had almost been looking for a verbal jousting match and here she was just standing in disbelief. "I suppose I can understand your reservations as far as the warrior falling from the sky part. I can't say I wouldn't have shot first and asked questions later, if I can be honest here. Though I suppose it wouldn't put your mind at ease to know I was days removed from leaving Planet Arcose, which I considered my home.". There was some truth in her words, as she had recently left Arcosian space, but she hadn't been on planet Arcose in some time, though there was little chance of him knowing, or likely caring where she was before she crash landed. She was trying to find the words to comment again but she couldn't help but laugh, covering her mouth and putting out her hand as if to apologize. "Sorry, not laughing at you just...that planet you conquered isn't my home planet. In fact I've never even been there. As far as I'm concerned blow the damn place up and the whole lot of those idiots. I was born in Arcosian space, and Arcose is my home planet. You'll have to forgive the bit of annoyance on my part, but despite the similarities-", patting her tail wrapped around her waist "-I really can't stand being lumped in with those pea-brained morons." It was clear she was holding back ranting further on the subject, taking a deep breath and taking a step back. She couldn't fight the fact that every damned thing he said made sense to her and all she wanted to do when she walked up was tell him just how wrong he was about her. His next comment did catch her a bit off guard if not peek her interest at the same time. "I mean, I think we both know you would likely mop the floor with me, but I'm up for a work out. I've been around you Arcosians long enough to know your true power is rarely ever actually your true power. But hey, what's that saying, something like, every beating is a lesson?" Wintoz

Wintoz grinned inwardly as the Sayian reacted to his initial probings with apparent confusion, no doubt expecting something more along the lines of a raging Arcosian powerhouse, threatening to destroy any Sayiajin that crossed his path. The Frost Demon had to admit, that was a pretty typical reaction from one of his kind, but most definitely not from him. If one could prove themselves trustworthy, Wintoz rarely cared about their race. "Interesting, a Sayian living on the Arocsian homeworld, I don't suppose you would care to tell me how that came about?" Wintoz asked, cocking his head in question. The Arocsian was rather carefully stepping his way around the topic. Sayians were notoriously prideful, and he would hate to have to explain a body to his new commander. "It's interesting that a Sayian was able to be ripped from the arms of her race far before Lord Tundra crushed that pitiful world. I wonder how that came about." Wintoz thought. Wintoz gave a hefty shrug as the sayianess refused to admit she was related to the Sayians the Fleet had so recently defeated, “If you say so miss, regardless, many here will see you as a Sayian first, so you might as well get used to the fact, regardless of your personal desires.” Wintoz pointed out, offering the statement as a simple of a fact. The beings that made of the Trade Fleet were a rather straightforward bunch, and it was highly doubtful many of them would ever accept a Sayian among their ranks. Wintoz smirked as the woman expressed her knowledge of his superior power. “I’m not going to deny the fact that I am far stronger then you, but I will try to restrain myself so this spar will be someone interesting.” The Arcosian rose into the air, his purple aura snapping into existence around him like a flame. “Follow me.”If the Sayian followed Wintoz, they would find themselves on the peak of a rocky spire, surrounded by howling wind and rock. The Arocsian took a battle stance, “Shall we begin?”

The look across the Saiyan's face became instantly somber at the innocent questioning of how she came to live on Arcose, and she struggled with how much to share and how much to keep to herself. Giving a soft sigh, she spoke up a bit quieter than before. "I was born there. Not a story for a casual conversation I will say. Either way, I was raised there by an Arcosian family, and even joined the military for a time." Her eyes went to the floor, clearly more to it, but she was unlikely to share it with a stranger. Realizing how awkward she was acting, thank god for self awareness, she looked back up with eye contact immediately. Scoffed a bit, then laughed to herself, nodding heavily and speaking up again. "I lived in Arcosian space for two and a half decades voluntarily. I've had more than my fair share of people judging me based on my Saiyan heritage. If someone only has a problem with me as a Saiyan and nothing else, then I'm fine with that. I have far worse things in life to worry about than who doesn't like me and my tail. I'm unlikely to hear anything from anyone in the fleet I haven't heard more times than they have probably said it." Shrugging with her arms up, and a bit of a smirk. She was more than used to having to prove herself more than others just to get below equal treatment, used to bullying, and used to being smacked around in the military by those taking out their anger towards Saiyans. It was nothing new, and she stopped letting it get to her a long time ago. Her face contorted a bit as the Arcosian floated up, motioning for him to lead the way, but internally grimacing as she knew this was about to be another case of getting smacked around. The idea of losing a fight didn't bother her too much, but her stubbornness of refusing using a healing pod was starting to bite her in the backside as her internally injuries seemed to still be nagging at her. Following him to what she assumed was simply a better place to fight, she slightly bowed and out stretched her arm towards him. "After you"

Sima Wintoz grunted, watching with curiosity as the Sayian began to share an extremely streamlined version of her story, which didn't really tell him anything he didn't already know. What she didn't say, however, held far more appeal to the Arcosian. One had to be almost blind to not catch the endless messages the woman was unconsciously saying in every uncomfortable motion she made, and Wintoz was far from blind. I'm going to have to watch this one, she seems to have a modicum more subtly than your average Sayian bruiser. Wintoz thought.
Wintoz had to admire the woman's grit, regardless of the fact that it was probably just her natural Sayian pride, blinding her to the nuances of the situation to focus on a linear idea. He gave a small, slightly sarcastic clap at the end of the woman's speech, "Good for you miss, but I hope you do realize you have other problems than racial tension. Many of Tundra's top operatives will likely not trust you for months yet, and you did admit to murdering of your fellow soldiers." Wintoz's tail swished through the air as he stared the Sayian down, "I think I speak for most of us elites that if you give us reasons to trust you, and not keep ragging on about your blood like it is some kind of pity card, we can ignore your race. But if you continue to act suspicious, I will be forced to kill you, which I would rather not do." Wintoz said, his voice going hard, "Understand?"
Wintoz landed lightly, cutting his flight just inches from the ground so that he landed with a slight tonk. A quick visual survey revealed nothing in the area but dirt and rocks, so the Arcosian began stretching, waiting for his alien foe to arrive. He hadn't had a good fight in months, as he had been so occupied by the lead up to the attack on Vegeta. Supply routes had to be blocked, communications centers overtaken and patrols to be disposed of. And although Wintoz doubted the had nearly enough power to push him past his base form, it would be interesting to see the power she possessed.
"Why thank you my lady." He said mockingly as the woman offered him the first hit. Wintoz mentally readied himself for the storm to come, keeping his body purposely relaxed outwardly. A few seconds would pass, wrought with tension, as Wintoz simply stood staring, waiting. "You know I did never catch your na-" As the last syllable left his mouth Wintoz would leap forward, his aura flaring, faking a strike at the Sayian's face before attempting to bury a foot in her gut. He would then attempt to launch a point-blank kiai, seeking to gain some distance.

Sima gave a heavy shrug of her shoulders at his comment, seeming honestly not all that bothered. "If they can't trust me because of my race then I'm not real concerned with that. Frankly if that's the worst they are worried about then I think we are all fine. It's when they start having other issues that we have real problems.", she said cracking her neck a bit. Her face contorted a bit at the murdering soldiers part. "I didn't exactly murder a bunch of soldiers, they were just military police. Besides it wasn't on purpose...kind of...uh...", she started to stutter a bit, trying to think best how to even describe what had happened. She paused for quite a while looking off to the side clearly trying to figure out how to best phrase her next comment. "I guess you could say I turned into some kind of giant monster. I didn't exactly have control of myself. I'm not even fully sure what happened if I can be honest. So it was technically me I guess, but it wasn't intentional. I'm sure that's not terribly comforting to hear." Her head slowly turned at the comment about blood and pity, sighing a bit and nodding. "Well, the last thing I'm looking for is pity, I can promise you that. Now, I believe you wanted a bit of a fight." Following behind the rather well-mannered Arcosian, she watched as he had landed and she did the same not far behind him sighing a bit as she looked around at the sheer ugliness of the planet they were on. She jumped a bit on her toes stretching out her neck and clapped a few times. "Let's do this", grinning at his mocking retort. Her head tilted as he spoke up, seeming to ask for her name before he was suddenly coming at her. Her first instinct was to kick up the ground, throwing dirt towards him and jumping back to avoid the punch, but the kick just barely managed to connect but not enough to hurt past her armor as they both stood a bit further apart than they had started. "Sneaky". Grinning, she shot towards the ground right between his feet as she jumped forward to close the distance once more, ducking down and aiming a punch straight towards his mid-section. Wintoz

Sima Whatever had happened that drove the Sayian away from Arcose, it apparently haunted her deeply, or at least enough to stun her whenever the topic was brought up.Wintoz's suspicion of the woman softened slightly as he witnessed her expression, but he did not relax entirely. It was so out of character for Sayians to show such weakness, that it was entirely possible that this was all a front. He was starting to doubt that assumption though, as he began to get to know the Sayian better.
The Arcosian would listen quietly as the Sayian stumbled through her account of her "transformation", and her resulting actions. Wintoz nodded as she concluded, "Very unfortunate, but understandable. I've heard rumors that Sayians undergo a transformation under certain conditions that boosts their power immensely but apparently buries them in rage." He shrugged, "That's pretty much all I know though, so you'll have to figure it out for yourself." Wintoz explained. The idea of a soldier randomly having their power boosted and begin to rampage was an uncomfortable one at best, and crippling at worst. The Arcosian made a mental note to check with Tundra about this, they could never be too careful, especially with the battles to come.
Wintoz grinned slightly, "Don't worry, the last thing you are going to get from me is pity." He stated, flying off to their arena shortly after.
This Sayian was an interesting one to be sure, barely avoiding his strikes out of a combination of reaction time and pure instinct. Wintoz coughed slightly as the pair disengaged, waving a hand in front of his face as dust filled the air, "Interesting, a Sayian playing defensively and using basic tactics?" Wintoz asked, faking incredulity, "You are already better than most of the elites on Vegeta, at least you don't just bull-rush." The Arcosian complimented her.
What wasn't so impressive, was how the woman attacked. As the Sayian rushed forward, Wintoz simply side-stepped the gut punch, taking full advantage of his slight dominance in power. If this was successful, the Arcosian would then attempt to wrench the woman's arm behind her back, holding it in place and then slamming her into the dust with his foot. "Come on Sayian you've got to try harder than that!" He goaded, then attempting to fire multiple ki blasts into her back.

Sima couldn't help but smirk as the compliment, even if it wasn't fully intentional. She was a Saiyan, but she wasn't quite as brutish as most of the stereotypes most people knew of her race. Her attack was a bit more straight forward than her defense however, but she was under no delusions of landing the blow so easily. She was surprised to an extent of how easily it was dodged, feeling a grasp on her arm, but didn't simply go down as easily as the Arcosian had attempted or assumed she would.
Feeling the pressure against her shoulder from the wrenching, instead of fighting it, she planted her foot and jumped up to twist with the pressure, just narrowly avoiding the foot that followed by less than a full second. She tugged her arm away as she was still in mid-air, spinning now over him, and using her other arm to push off of his shoulder and landing just on the other side of him. As she landed they were now shoulder to shoulder, but facing in different directions from one another, so she took her right elbow and aimed it at the side of his head. "That makes two of us" Wintoz

Sima Wintoz grunted as the wily Sayian skillfully disengaged from his attempted grapple, even managed to use the momentum to put herself into an advantageous position! Whoever had trained this unusual woman, they had certainly not spared her any tools due to her race! However, Wintoz had trained himself nearly as hard, and while he wouldn't consider himself a master, he certainly had not inconsequential skill as well!
The Arcosian sensed more than saw Sima's elbow strike, but he simply did not have enough speed to block the strike. Instead, Wintoz rode the strike, taking in full on and seemingly toppling because of it! Suddenly, the Sayian would feel pressure on her ankle increase as the Arcosian's tail attempted to encircle it, locking tight if successful. If this worked, the Arcosian would turn his side-ways fall into a cartwheel, and attempt to launch Sima over his feet towards a distant rock pillar. Falling to one knee, the Arcosian would then follow this up with several death beams, firing randomly in her direction.

The connected blow to Wintoz came as a bit of a surprised to herself, as it was a similar move she had seen someone else do and attempted it simply out of desperation, not knowing what else to do in the moment. She was far from well-trained and the acrobatic and skillful looking attack was accidentally impressive more than practiced. Getting caught up, even if just for a moment, in how surprised she was as she felt the impact against Wintoz, she left just enough of a window for attack with her pause to fully defend the specific attack coming her way. In her mind she was trying to play out the Arcosian being knocked back and likely firing a blast to try to close the distance, so when the tail wrapped around her ankle she gave an audible surprised sound and fell momentarily off balance. The ensuing attempt at a counter ended up showing just how little grace and technique she really held, starting to fall over and lift off the ground with flailing arms. She managed to grab onto Wintoz wrist as he planted his hands to cartwheel, tugging at it to knock him off balance as the rest of her limbs flailed wildly, trying to do some terrible looking mixture of dodging and flailing slap and kicks as she was held in the air from the tail trying to throw her.
